First Omar, Then James, Now AOC Accused of Lying About Who They’re Married To – The Truth Means Nothing to Them

It turns out some of the country’s best-known and most infamous Democratic women seem to have a strangely flexible concept of marriage.

While progressives tend to despise the institution, they appear to have an appreciation for it under certain circumstances (particularly circumstances involving two men and a baby).

But when it really suits their personal desires and, even better, their personal finances, boy how liberals love it.

First, there was Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Somalia-born immigrant, who has been credibly accused of presenting her own brother as her husband in a scam to help him move to the front of the line in obtaining immigration papers.

Next, New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James found herself under investigation for real estate activities that reportedly included listing herself as her father’s “wife” for mortgage purposes.

Then, as July drew to a close, the bipartisan House Ethics Committee issued a report on New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s attendance at the 2021 Met Gala — a soiree of the rich and fatuous where Ocasio-Cortez appeared wearing an obnoxious “Tax the Rich” designer gown on the arm of a man who isn’t her “spouse” — by any definition of the word.

That last part matters a great deal because, according to the committee report, the New York City democratic socialist accepted a free ticket for then-boyfriend, now-fiance Riley Roberts (a beau whose status with AOC appears to depend on which form she’s filling out).

And there’s more to this than just a standard liberal grift.

Congressional ethics rules in force at the time, according to the report, allowed House members to accept free attendance at such events only “for themselves and either a spouse or dependent child.”

The report then helpfully noted that the House Ethics Manual defines “spouse” as “someone to whom you are legally married.”

To be fair, that’s a footnote from page 39 of the manual, but most Americans were probably already hip to that definition without needing to be told. Ethics manuals, however, have to spell things out.

Unfortunately, that’s only effective if the lawmakers covered by the manual actually choose to accept the manual’s definitions, which AOC did not.

According to the report, Ocasio-Cortez’s legal counsel claimed “the Congresswoman chose to follow campaign finance laws,” adding that such a determination “was and is a reasonable and logical conclusion to make, and the Committee should not so brazenly apply guidance limited to other sets of rules in other contexts.”

AOC’s ‘Bronx Girl’ Act Exposed as a TOTAL FRAUD by Republican Sharing School Yearbook Photo

New York leftist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez loves to present herself as someone who grew up in the hood. A person who knows the streets, is tough, and faced a hard life. None of that is true.

She grew up in an affluent area, went to Boston University where the tuition is currently more than $60K a year, and interned at the office of the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

The Gateway Pundit ran an exclusive report about this back in 2019, exposing AOC’s true past when she was known as “Sandy.”

During one of her recent and stupid quips on Twitter/X, she called herself a Bronx girl. That’s pure fantasy, and Republican New York Assemblyman Matt Slater just exposed her for the fraud she is.

FOX News reports:

GOP assemblyman calls out AOC’s suburban roots with yearbook proof after Trump spat

A New York state lawmaker called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over her upbringing after she referred to herself as a tough “Bronx girl” during an internet spat in which she traded jabs with President Donald Trump.

State Assemblyman Matt Slater, a Republican, called out the progressive firebrand, who represents portions of the Bronx and Queens, and shared an image of her during her freshman year in suburban Yorktown High School, almost an hour north of the Bronx.

“If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already,” Slater tweeted.

Slater’s move came after Ocasio-Cortez got into a social media spat with Trump after she called for his impeachment for ordering strikes over the weekend that targeted Iranian nuclear sites.

In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump criticized the congresswoman, calling her “stupid” and “one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress.”

AOC’s Constituent Says the Congresswoman Ditched Her Own Town Hall After She Asked About Crime in the District

A constituent of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recounted to Fox News how the congresswoman abandoned her own town hall event in the Bronx after she asked her about rising crime in the district.

Guadelupe Alvarez told the network that she had asked Ocasio-Cortez what she is doing for the district, which is facing increased crime and prostitution.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier this week, major crime has skyrocketed by 70 percent in the congressional district represented by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez since she assumed office in 2019. This surge in illegal activity is more than double the overall increase across New York City, which remained at 30 percent during the same period.

“I went to one of the town halls where she was speaking in the Bronx, I believe, and when I asked the question of what are you doing for Jackson Heights? How are you aware of the crime and prostitution? Have you seen the neighborhood lately? She dismissed me,” Alvarez recalled.

The congresswoman walked out instead of answering the simple questions.

“She said she’d be right back and never came back and just handed the floor to her assistant, which was really infuriating,” Alvarez said.

Alvarez also alleged that people at the town hall were given pre-written questions to ask the congresswoman.

A new poll has found that Democrat and left-leaning voters view either Ocasio-Cortez or “no one” as the face of their party.

AOC’s district sees 70% crime surge — more than double NYC average: ‘She doesn’t care’

What these neighborhoods really need is a “Squad” car.

Major crime rose by an eye-popping 70% in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Bronx and Queens district since the ‘defund the police’ socialist lawmaker took office in 2019 — more than double the citywide increase of 30% over that same span, a Post analysis of NYPD data shows.

The 110th Precinct in Queens, which covers part of the infamous “Market of Sweethearts” human-trafficking and prostitution mecca on Roosevelt Avenue, saw a 105% surge, the highest increase of any NYC precinct in that period.

Major crimes consist of murder, rape, robbery, felony assault, burglary, grand larceny and auto theft.

The 115th Precinct, which also serves part of Roosevelt Avenue in addition to Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, and north Corona, saw major offenses rise by 85%.

The other four precincts in her Queens-Bronx congressional district similarly saw major-crime increases higher than the citywide average.

Some residents blamed the increasingly lawlessness squarely on the no-show lawmaker.

“She’s not doing s–t. She doesn’t live in the neighborhood, she doesn’t care,” vented Elmhurst resident Guadelupe Alvarez, who has lived in the 110th Precinct her whole life and is one of several constituents who ripped the jet-setting absentee “Squad” member for letting the district turn to “trash” while she focuses on elevating herself on the national stage.

Alvarez, 34, a former AOC supporter, has had to endure a brothel setting up across the street from her childhood home, and the drunken men she says constantly swarm in and out of the place. She said she also regularly witnesses gang activity, car thefts and assaults, but nothing gets done.

She used to dream of building a life in the neighborhood, but not anymore.

GOP Congressman Humiliates a Grandstanding AOC as She Plays to the Cameras While Asking Questions About Medicaid – AOC Then Completely Snaps

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) lost it early this morning after a GOP congressman humiliated her by calling out her grandstanding tactics during a committee hearing.

While the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing entered the early morning hours as part of its marathon mega bill markup, AOC attempted to disassemble the GOP’s plans to reform Medicaid by asking witnesses a series of leading questions. Of course, she wanted to play to the cameras at the same time.

When she did finally act like a professional, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) took notice and roasted her.

“Um, in terms of some of the exemptions, pregnancy is covered, correct?” AOC asked.

“May I interrupt? I’m glad you’re addressing us instead of addressing the camera,” Weber quipped.

AOC then repeated her question about pregnancy, and the witness answered that pregnancy was covered. AOC then tried to ask a gotcha question about abortion laws.

“Given the Dobbs decision and the fact that many women and the fact that many women in many states are forced to…” she began before Weber cut her off.

“Okay, what about miscarriage?” AOC asked.

“Reclaiming my time. I just want to make the point that we’d like for you to address the Republicans and let’s have a dialogue this way & not through a camera,” Weber said.

“But, but, I’m just asking about a miscarriage,” AOC whined.

“The gentlelady is out of order!” Weber shouted.

A short time later, AOC started grandstanding again after getting some backup from Rep. Yvette Clarke.

“There are 13.7 million Americans on the other side of that screen there. Hello, hello,” Ocasio-Cortez stated, waving to the camera. “I’m talking to you because I work for you. They deserve to see what is happening here because there are plenty of districts, including Republican ones, where 25 percent of your constituents are on Medicaid, 40 percent of your constituents are on Medicaid.”

“Will the gentlelady yield?” Weber asked.

Upon hearing this, AOC finally snapped completely.

“I will not yield because it was a terribly disrespectful comment, and I will not yield to disrespectful men!” she whined.

DHS Warns AOC of Possible Arrest Over Potential Interference at ICE Facility Following Her Viral Threat

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has drawn a direct warning from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after suggesting she may take action similar to that which led to the recent arrest of a Democratic mayor outside an immigration facility.

Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary for public affairs at DHS, told Fox News that if Ocasio-Cortez attempts to interfere with federal immigration enforcement in the same manner as Democratic Newark, New Jersey Mayor Ras Baraka, she could be subject to arrest.

“If she trespasses and if she assaults law enforcement officers, as we saw earlier, I think that’s certainly on the table,” McLaughlin said during an appearance on “The Bottom Line,” per Trending Politics.

“As far as we’ve heard, a lot of Democrats make the argument that they’re just conducting oversight, congressional oversight.”

The remarks follow the arrest of Baraka outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in New Jersey, as Resist the Mainstream highlighted last week.

Unity Message Backfires: Racist AOC Tweet Turns Heads

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) campaign account on X is facing significant backlash over a social media post that capitalized “Black” and “Latino” while leaving “white” in lowercase.

The post has since sparked accusations of hypocrisy and divisiveness.

The controversial post appeared on the “@TeamAOC” account, which is managed by the New York Democratic congresswoman and her staff members, drawing immediate criticism from users across the platform.

The message accompanied a video from Ocasio-Cortez’s recent “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, where she has been appearing alongside Bernie Sanders at anti-Trump rallies in traditionally conservative states across the country.

“Do not let them trick you into thinking we are enemies,” stated the post featuring footage from a Boise, Idaho event.

“Do not let them trick you into thinking that we can be separated into rural and urban, Black and white and Latino. We are one.”

Social media users quickly pointed out the apparent contradiction between the unity message and the selective capitalization choices in the text, with many suggesting the typographical choice undermined the very message of togetherness.

One X user’s reply, which garnered more likes than the original post, questioned: “If we are one, why did you capitalize ‘Black’ and not ‘white’?”

This sentiment was echoed by numerous commenters who saw the capitalization disparity as problematic.

Another popular response accused the campaign of deliberate racism, stating: “We see you, you f***ing racist POS. Don’t act like it was an accident that you left the word ‘White’ uncapitalized,” reflecting the intensity of reactions to what some viewed as a calculated slight.

As predicted, AOC is clearly running for president

Here at American Thinker, we predicted that AOC is a real possibility as the 2028 Democrat party presidential candidate. Yesterday, AOC made it plain that she thinks so, too.

AOC’s appeal to the left is obvious: She’s female, glib, telegenic, well-recognized, vaguely Hispanic, antisemitic, and a truly leftist ideologue. Bernie Sanders rightly sees her as the bridge between his old-fashioned class warfare and the new multi-culti warfare, both vehicles for the Marxist overthrow of the West. That’s why the two of them have been appearing in venues across America to rally the true believers.

The fact that AOC’s sole life experience before politics has been as a bartender/waitress is irrelevant (although it exceeds Bernie’s pre-political life experience). That this might not prepare her for managing the vast enterprise that is the United States government, dealing with foreign leaders, or having any wisdom at all fades into insignificance compared to her leftist virtues.

That’s the only possible spin to put on this video, which shows that AOC also thinks that her leftist virtues mean that she’s got to seize the moment.

AOC’s brother is forced to deny link to huge fentanyl trafficking crime

The brother of New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was forced to publicly shut down a circulating rumor claiming he was at the center of a fentanyl trafficking scheme.

Gabriel Ocasio-Cortez, 32, took to TikTok to respond to a video spreading a bizarre claim – that AOC’s brother, wrongly named as ‘Matthew’ in the allegation, had been arrested on Lake Superior after US Coast Guards caught him in possession of $1.2 million worth of fentanyl.

As the actual brother of the Democrat Congresswoman, Gabriel quickly squashed the viral lie, duetting the creator’s post with a pointed caption that read: ‘don’t make me sue’.

‘I’m the brother,’ Gabriel said in his TikTok. ‘My name’s not Matthew. I have no idea why they’re posting this.’

‘I work with the homeless,’ he added. ‘I have nothing to do with this story, which isn’t real. Please find something better to do with your time.’

On Tuesday, the creator in question had posted a video to the popular app, appearing in front of what seemed to be a screenshot of a recent news article.

‘AOC’s brother has just been charged with trafficking fentanyl,’ the creator confidently stated in the since-deleted video, all while pointing at the ‘news source’ behind her.

The fake news quickly spread across a variety of social media platforms – including Facebook, Instagram Threads and Twitter – with the TikTok video alone garnering more than 50,000 likes before its removal.
