Sunny Hostin Scolds John Fetterman For Voting In Favor Of Not Starving His Constituents

Sunny Hostin spent part of Tuesday’s broadcast of “The View” scolding Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) for voting with Republicans to bring the longest government shutdown in history to an end — and he pushed right back.

Hostin’s cohosts — most of whom have been pushing for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) ouster since he “caved” and voted to avert the last potential government shutdown in March — began by pressing Fetterman on whether or not he believed Schumer was still the right person to lead the Senate under the current circumstances.

“Senator Bernie Sanders said the vote was a horrific mistake. Governor Gavin Newsom called it pathetic and a surrender. Poll after poll found Americans on both sides of the aisle blaming Republicans,” Hostin said. “Even Marjorie Taylor Greene blamed the GOP. As you mentioned, Democrats had big wins last week, so you had momentum. Why give in now? Why bring a butter knife to a gun fight?!”

Hostin went on to argue that Fetterman was taking a major risk in trusting Republicans to follow through on promises to hold a vote on the Affordable Care Act subsidies and deliver back pay to furloughed federal workers, saying, “I believe you are wrong!”

“Well, first of all, MTG is quite literally the last person in America that I’m going to take advice [from] or to get their kinds of leadership and values from,” Fetterman shot back.

He went on to note that he had voted to keep the government open from the start, largely because he knew how a shutdown would impact people in his home state.

“I promise you, this isn’t a political game. It is viewed [that way] by many of us, but the reality is, 42 million Americans now [are] not sure where their next meal is going to come from because we vote like that. Or people that haven’t been paid for five weeks now and that kinds of chaos. Those kinds of workers have to borrow more than half a billion dollars from their credit union just to pay the bills,” he said.

Panicked ABC bosses issue legal correction live on The View after Whoopi Goldberg makes outrageous Trump claim

The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg was handed a note live on air Monday asking her to clarify a statement she made about President Donald Trump – leading Goldberg to angrily tear the message up in protest.

The note – which the Daily Mail has learned came from producers on the show – was handed to Goldberg by co-host Sunny Hostin during an exchange about presidents using an autopen to sign documents.

While discussing Trump’s appearance on 60 Minutes the previous night, Hostin zeroed in on Trump’s recent pardoning of convicted Binance fraudster Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, after the president admitted he had ‘no idea’ who Zhao was during the interview.

‘How come you don’t know who this guy is?’ she asked about Zhao, who pleaded guilty to failing to sufficiently combat money laundering on his cryptocurrency exchange in late 2023.

‘Because he used an autopen,’ Goldberg cut in, suggesting Trump may not have known about the pardon.

As the conversation moved on, Hostin subtly passed a note to Goldberg across the table.

‘What the hell? What? “We don’t know if Trump used an autopen to pardon,” Goldberg said as she read it. ‘It was a joke!’

‘Yes, we don’t know whether Trump used an autopen to pardon-‘ replied Hostin, a legal expert, as Goldberg continued to complain.

‘Oh, come on!’ Goldberg said, before ripping the note to shreds.

‘Well, I’m sorry. The hardest thing about this job now is no one understands nuance.

‘You know when you hear a joke, when somebody’s fooling around, when they’re not saying something specific. Especially on this show, I’m very specific when I’m…pointing stuff out. When I’m making jokes, you know when I’m making jokes!

‘This is ridiculous,’ Goldberg concluded.

Trump pardoned Zhao on October 23, four months into his 87-month sentence, with a statement from the White House blaming the conviction on the Biden administration’s ‘desire to punish the cryptocurrency industry.’

The View has been known for regularly criticizing the Trump adminstration and the president’s policies while offering mostly kind words for Democrats.

In May, top brass at ABC News and parent company Disney asked the show’s panelists to dial back their constant complaining about Trump.

The White House suggested that The View ‘is the next to be pulled off air,’ after Behar remarked that Trump was ‘jealous’ of former President Barack Obama.

ABC News Selectively Leaks Portions of Memo Authored by Fired Prosecutor to Help Discredit Indictment Against Letitia James

Deep State prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia are attacking US Attorney Lindsey Halligan with leaks after she successfully returned an indictment against Letitia James.

ABC News selectively leaked a memo authored by a fired prosecutor to try to discredit the indictment against Letitia James.

New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia earlier this month.

According to the DOJ, Letitia James was charged with two crimes: Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.

“If convicted, Letitia James faces penalties including up to 30 years in prison per count, up to a $1 million fine on each count, and forfeiture,” the DOJ said.

The charges are related to a mortgage loan on a property James owns in Norfolk, Virginia, referred to as “the Perrone Property.”

According to the indictment reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, James was to use the property as her secondary residence and prohibited its use as a timesharing or other shared ownership arrangement or agreement that requires her either to rent the property or give any other person any control over the occupancy or use of the property.

Letitia James treated her Perrone property like an investment property on her Schedule E form and paid taxes on the rental income, further contradicting her claims of secondary residence.

ABC News obtained a memo authored by EDVA senior prosecutor Elizabeth Yusi. Interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan fired Yusi last week.

According to portions of the memo leaked to ABC News, the Deep State prosecutors who refused to indict Letitia James claim the evidence they found undercuts Lindsey Halligan’s case.

The prosecutors gave their findings to US Attorney Erik Siebert before he was fired by President Trump.

ABC News reported that the rental income on James’ tax return is not in the “thousands” like the indictment alleged.

The leaked memo alleges that Letitia James did not collect rent from her niece.

“James purchased the home in Norfolk, Virginia, for her great-niece in 2020 for $137,000 and immediately allowed her and her children to begin living in the house rent-free. Prosecutors met with James’ niece, who stated that she had never signed a lease, had never paid rent for the home, and that James had often sent her money to cover some of the expenses, the memo concluded, according to sources familiar with its contents,” ABC News reported.

“While the indictment alleges that James made “thousand(s)” from rental income, sources tell ABC News that prosecutors found no record of James collecting rent from her niece beyond $1,350 that James reported on her 2020 tax return, which was said to cover the cost of utilities, according to sources familiar with the investigation,” ABC News reported.

“As of last month, investigators had met with ten witnesses who offered conflicting accounts about whether James’ actions constituted fraud or the degree to which she profited from her actions, the sources said,” the outlet reported.

ABC Cuts off JD Vance’s Feed After He DESTROYS George Stephanopoulos

Vice President JD Vance appeared on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” on Sunday, where he schooled the far-left host before Stephanopoulos abruptly ended the interview.

Vance called him out for continuing to push hoaxes despite losing credibility with the American people, and ABC pulled the plug on the interview.

“Here’s, George, why fewer and fewer people watch your program, and why you’re losing credibility, because you’re talking for now five minutes with the Vice President of the United States about this story regarding Tom Homan, a story that I’ve read about, but I don’t even know the video that you’re talking about. Meanwhile, low-income women can’t get food because the Democrats and Chuck Schumer have shut down the government,” Vance said.

“You’re focused on a bogus story. You’re insinuating criminal wrongdoing against a guy who has done nothing wrong, instead of focusing on the fact that our country is struggling because our government’s shut down.”

Liberal media and leftists on social media have been pushing a ‘bribery scandal’ story about Tom Homan, claiming that he was busted by the Biden DOJ accepting a $50,000 bribe to secure government contracts before the 2024 election.

However, as The Gateway Pundit reported, the hit job on Homan, which was just another Biden DOJ fishing expedition against a political opponent, quickly flamed out.

Stephanopoulos attempted to press Vance on the bogus story on Sunday and instantly regretted it.

After Vance called him out, Stephanopoulos tried to defend himself, then ended the interview without allowing Vance to get another word in.

Jimmy Kimmel Fake Cries as He Confronts His Own Lies About Charlie Kirk Assassination After Being Yanked Off the Air

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel tried to stage a desperate damage-control moment on Tuesday night, choking up on camera as he attempted to walk back his lies about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Just last week, Kimmel told his dwindling audience that Kirk was killed by a “MAGA conservative,” a smear designed to demonize Trump supporters and weaponize a national tragedy for political gain. The statement was false, reckless, and dangerous.

The backlash was immediate. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr blasted Kimmel for spreading blatant disinformation on national television, warning of potential federal action against ABC and its parent company Disney.

Disney, facing mounting outrage, abruptly yanked Kimmel’s show off the air. But less than a week later, ABC announced he would be returning, prompting fury from viewers and broadcast partners alike.

By Monday evening, Sinclair Broadcast Group—which owns 30 ABC affiliates—announced it would no longer carry Jimmy Kimmel Live! in protest of ABC’s cowardly cave.

On Tuesday, Nexstar Media Group followed suit, pulling the show from all 32 of its ABC affiliates.

ABC Hack Jon Karl Angers Americans With a Remark Dismissing the Political Connection Surrounding Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

The corporate media is not happy after learning that a radical leftist with a transgender boyfriend assassinated conservative legend Charlie Kirk and is desperate to hide the truth.

While speaking about the Charlie Kirk murder on Sunday morning, ABC hack Jon Karl tried to ensure the audience would not know a radical leftist took out the conservative icon.

“The murder of Charlie Kirk was not a political act,” he said.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Utah authorities last Tuesday released the text exchange between Tyler Robinson and his transgender lover, Lance Twiggs, sent shortly after Kirk’s assassination.

In the text messages, Robinson revealed why he murdered Kirk, saying, “he had had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.” In other words, a radical, pro-trans leftist killed Kirk because he told the truth.

Americans not only called out Karl for his falsehood, but made sure to point out the rhetoric from both Democrats and the corporate media contributed to Kirk’s murder.

ABC’s ‘The View’ In Spotlight After Jimmy Kimmel Suspended, Says FCC Chairman

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr said in an interview that ABC’s “The View” could be investigated after Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, was suspended earlier this week over remarks he made about the late Charlie Kirk.

“I would assume you could make the argument that ‘The View’ is a bona fide news show, but I’m not so sure about that,” Carr said on “The Scott Jennings Radio Show” on Sept. 18.

“And I think it’s worthwhile to have the FCC look into whether ‘The View’ and some of the programs that you have still qualify as bona fide news programs and therefore exempt from the equal opportunity regime that Congress has put in place.”

“The View,” a daytime talk show, is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro.

ABC suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely after a group of ABC-affiliated stations said it would not air the show following comments Kimmel made about the assassination of Kirk, a conservative influencer, during an episode earlier this week.

Kimmel appeared to suggest that the suspected assassin, Tyler Robinson, was a supporter of President Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

Prosecutors have said that Robinson allegedly had left-wing and pro-transgender views.

Carr said that Kimmel was attempting to mislead the public with his on-air statements.

“The issue that arose here, where lots and lots of people were upset, was not a joke,” Carr told CNBC on Thursday.

“It was appearing to directly mislead the American public about a significant fact.”

Under the FCC’s jurisdiction, ABC, CBS, and NBC have special requirements to “operate within the public interest,” Carr said on Sept. 17.

“Broadcasters are different than any other form of communication.”

ABC Reporter ‘Apologises’ For Calling Suspected Kirk Assassin’s Messages “Touching”

As we highlighted yesterday, ABC News reporter Matt Gutman single handedly sunk the legacy media to a new low by turning Tyler Robinson’s cold messages confessing to the murder of Charlie Kirk into some sort of demented love drama.

Gutman described the messages, in which the suspected assassin confessed to Kirk’s assassination to his transgender lover and debated how he would retrieve the weapon he used, as “touching.”

Eveyone who saw it was completely disgusted.

But not surprised.

ABC’s ‘The View’ Goes Right Back to Being Toxic TV: ‘Elephant in the Room is That We’re Screwed!’

Various Democrats keep calling on the right to tone things down, even though the violence is coming from their side. The ladies of ‘The View’ on ABC apparently didn’t get the memo because they have gone right back to their toxic style of broadcasting.

During the program on Wednesday, host Joy Behar lamented that “the elephant in the room is that we’re screwed!” as she pointed out that we still have more than three years left in Trump’s presidency.

Wait until she finds out what just happened to Jimmy Kimmel. By the way Joy, you might not want to make jokes about elephants in the room.

NewsBusters reports:

The body of conservative activist Charlie Kirk wasn’t even in the ground yet when ABC co-host Joy Behar decided to go back to spewing inciting rhetoric against President Trump and conservatives. During Wednesday’s episode of The View, Behar proclaimed that America was “screwed” and moderator Whoopi Goldberg proclaimed that she didn’t know how long the Constitution would last. And not a single person on set seemed to reflect on their hyperbolic doomsaying given recent events.

An exasperated Behar interjected during their conversation about the Senate hearing of FBI Director Kash Patal to fret about the future of the country:

BEHAR: You know. I’m sorry, I feel as though–

GOLDBERG: Take a breath. Take a deep breath. Take a breath, Joy, take a breath and tell us.

BEHAR: I feel like we’re trapped in a bad movie, like you’ve got these incompetent people running the government and we’re like a bunch of sitting ducks. You’ve got the puppy killer. You’ve got the signal cake guy, what’s his name, Hegseth.

“I mean, there’s no end to the incompetency that we are experiencing as Americans!” she shouted. “So, I can almost not even talk about individual situations like this, because the overall picture and the elephant in the room is that we’re screwed!”

Jimmy Kimmel Blatantly Broke FCC Rules And Brendan Carr Was Right To Notice

CC Chairman Brendan Carr has done the impossible: He got ABC to consider the tone of its often offensively partisan programming and make a change. Disney-owned ABC abruptly pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! from its broadcast lineup late Wednesday, hopefully ending Kimmel’s ugly career.

The move is more likely in response to Carr’s threat of consequences for ABC, issued on The Benny Show podcast with Benny Johnson, than Kimmel’s unfunny, untrue monologue insulting the conservative movement while it mourns the senseless loss of one of its brightest lights.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

It was a tone-deaf pack of lies. The alleged assassin is not MAGA. At 22 he is not a kid. And he has numerous overtly leftist characteristics. Kimmel tried to throw his viewers off the scent of the truth, and, with a sickening mirth, kicked hurting people while they are down. The few fools who still watched his show surely assumed his words were true. Many people get their news from so-called comedy monologues and assume the premise of the “joke” is at least accurate.
