Can’t Make This Up: Democrats Are Building a Protective WALL Around Their Convention

For years now, Democrats have insisted that walls are racist and don’t work but those rules apparently don’t apply when it comes to their safety.

The Democrat National Convention kicks off in Chicago this week and with the anticipation of massive protests by the radical left, Democrats are building a protective wall around the event.

You couldn’t make this up.

ABC News in Chicago reports:

DNC security restrictions at United Center, McCormick Place start at midnight; car screenings soon

A security footprint around the United Center and McCormick Place goes into effect at midnight Friday ahead of the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

The security footprint area encompasses a 15-foot buffer around the perimeter of McCormick Place and the United Center, and includes Union Park and Park 578, where large-scale protests are planned. The CHA parking lot next to Park 578 is also included.

Within this area you cannot “push, pull or transport any vehicle, cart or float” or throw any item. You are also not allow to possess any item deemed a potential safety hazard, including large bags and suitcases as well as laptops, sealed packages, drones, animals other than service/guide dogs, bicycles, scooters, folding chairs, balloons, coolers, glass, thermal or metal containers, umbrellas with metal tips, tobacco products including e-cigarettes, lighters, matches, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, tents and structures, and pointed objects of any kind, including knives.

In issuing those rules prohibiting those items from the demonstration zones, CPD says they’re in accordance with city ordinance. Violators could face jail time.

Vot-ER is a group of 50,000 physicians who are signing up patients to vote in the 2024 election. The group is led by Dr. Dr. Alister Martin who served as a White House Fellow in the office of Kamala Harris.

Dr. Kat Lindley joined Tom Basile on Newsmax Saturday morning to discuss this latest attempt by the Biden regime to use doctors to register patients to vote.

Tom Basile: A code blue for election integrity. Why do doctors need to know your voter registration status? Why would they be tapped to help ensure you’re registered to vote? Healthcare software giant Epik recently announced that they would be making it possible for patients to register to vote and for doctors to help them through their popular MyChart app. All this in conjunction with the Biden-Harris and activist group, Vote-ER, which just so happens to be headed up by a former senior advisor to Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

For more on this, we’re going to bring in FLCC senior fellow and President of the Global Health Project, Dr. Kat Lindley. Doctor, thank you for being with us. I couldn’t believe this. When I heard this, and you’ve been one of the folks who blew the lid on this, the same application that your doctor interfaces with that provides you with your health care information can now also help you register to vote with the click of a button, which means your choice can also be tracked. This is the threshold question. Is this setting up a scenario where millions of illegals and non-citizens passing through safety net hospitals that serve lower-income and undocumented could be registered to vote?

Dr. Kat Lindley: Yes, because the Vot-ER group that you just mentioned was founded by Dr. Alister Martin and actually has a script for undocumented patients on how to register to vote.

Tom Basile: That’s incredible. You’ve been a vocal critic of this new practice. You’ve made the point that your doctor doesn’t need to know your political affiliation. They don’t need to know whether or not you are registered. Talk to me about why we should be alarmed by this. Another example of what seems to politicised medicine, politics, getting into your doctor’s office.

Dr. Kat Lindley: Well, actually, the reason is that, interestingly, a few days before I found out about this, there was a tweet from an anonymous physician on the West Coast. I believe it was the Oregon area. It’s a female physician who said that if she treats Conservatives, she often misdiagnoses them and gives them the wrong treatment. Just that lets you know that there’s no reason for any physicians to know the political status of our patients. We’re supposed to be completely impartial. We are supposed to just deal with the health issues that a patient has and do the best we can to make them recover.

Tom Basile: Doctor, the other issue that I guess you would inevitably encounter here is a patient who perhaps lacks the mental capacity to make basic decisions for themselves and is being manipulated into registering to vote. That’s a very real concern in the state of Pennsylvania, where at least one psychiatric hospital has been exposed for registering patients. Do you see activist physicians and other healthcare providers potentially taking advantage of those folks for political purposes as well? Because, again, you could just do this now with the click of a button on your own app, or the doctor through through their portal could actually do this for you.

Dr. Kat Lindley: That’s exactly right. According to that article, actually, they started registering the patients in that psychiatric hospital in Pennsylvania, the ones who were not necessarily there for the in-house treatments, the ones that were going to be discharged. But then they continue that practice and register patients who are in-house to register as well, and they help them obtain mailing ballots and other things. When you are in need, and they’re We also do this in oncology centerss, in substance abuse centres, in the ER. And as you can imagine, all of these centers, what they have in common is you’re at your most vulnerable state. Yeah, absolutely. And they are taking advantage of this state to say, Oh, it’s really important for you to register. It’s going to make you feel better.

Report: Tim Walz Praised Hitler-Supporting Imam as ‘Master Teacher,’ Contradicting Campaign

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz praised radical Imam Asad Zaman, who had posted content promoting Hitler, as a “master teacher” — contradicting claims by the Kamala Harris campaign that Walz had no personal relationship with him.

As Breitbart News noted last week, citing reporting by Gabe Kaminsky in the Washington Examiner, Walz “appeared several times with a local Muslim leader who has justified Hamas terrorist violence against Israel and once shared a pro-Hitler film on social media.” Walz’s Muslim American Society of Minnesota also received grants from the state.

Fact Check: Kamala Harris Claims Trump ‘Tried to Cut Medicare Every Year He Was President’

CLAIM: Vice President Kamala Harris claimed during a speech on Friday that former President Donald Trump has tried to cut Medicare “every year.”

VERDICT: False. Trump did not try to cut Medicare during his time in office; the Biden-Harris administration has cut Medicare Advantage, which a majority of Medicare beneficiaries use over traditional Medicare.

Harris said during an address on her proposed economic policy, “He [Trump] tried to cut Medicare every year he was president. Threatening a program that tens of millions of seniors count on.”

However, despite Harris’s claim, this is not true. An NBC News fact check found that Trump’s White House budget proposals did not call for benefit cuts to Medicare.

NBC News wrote:

His fiscal 2020 blueprint called for Medicare changes to lower payments to providers and suppliers through new incentives and a lower inflation benchmark. Biden and Democrats embraced the same types of “cuts” under Obamacare, which extended the solvency of Medicare by lowering payments to hospitals and insurers, in exchange for more customers.

Sahil Kapur, a senior political reporter for NBC News, wrote, “Democrats have been using this line for years. It’s false. Trump’s budgets didn’t cut Medicare benefits; they targeted providers & suppliers—the same “cuts” Dems enacted in the ACA.”

Trump Hammers Home Plan to Eliminate Tax on Social Security Income

Former President Donald Trump reiterated a campaign promise to eliminate taxes on Social Security income for seniors.

While speaking from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for copying his campaign promise to eliminate taxes on tips.

“To get economic relief to workers and families, I will make the Trump tax cuts permanent, and we will have no tax on tips, which she copied,” Trump told the crowd. “You all know by now, she came out a few days ago and she said, ‘There will be no tax on…’ I said, ‘I said that months ago.’”

“But, here’s one that she hasn’t copied yet,” Trump added. “To help seniors on fixed incomes who are suffering the ravages of horrible inflation caused by Crooked Joe and Kamala, there will be no tax on social security.”

“And, I get it done,” Trump added. “I will get it done. They won’t. They haven’t even promised it to you, but, they won’t get it done if they do.”

Trump has previously announced that he would eliminate taxes on Social Security income for seniors.

Planned Parenthood to Offer Free Vasectomies, Abortions During DNC

A Planned Parenthood clinic will be offering people free vasectomies and abortions during the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which is set to be held next week in Chicago.

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers (PPGR), the Chicago Abortion Fund, and The Wieners Circle will be “providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion” at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers’ mobile health clinic, PPGR announced in a post on X.

According to the New York Times, the mobile health clinic will be set up “blocks away” from the DNC.

PPGR, which is part of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, is described as being “the leading provider, educator, and protector of sexual and reproductive health care in the St. Louis region, Missouri Ozarks, and beyond,” according to the website for Planned Parenthood Great Rivers.

“Here we come, Chicago! Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop with @ChiAbortionFund & @TheWienerCircle Aug 19-20, providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion. EC will also be available for free without an appointment.”

People Walk Out Of Half Empty High School Gym As Biden Speaks

Kamala Harris website offers nine pronoun options for campaign applicants but zero policies

Well, the campaign website for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is officially live, giving the public a window into their priorities should they to succeed in their bid for the White House: A prospective staffer can choose one of nine “pronoun” options on the job application, and there are a whopping total of zero policies listed. Oh, and the first thing you’re met with when visiting the page is a request for donations, alongside a photo of Harris decked out in what appears to be roughly $38,000 worth of gold and pearls around her neck, which can be added to her apparent Tiffany’s necklace valued at $62,000—they want your hard-earned money, so they can live like kings. (Walz is seen with a pin of the Minnesota’s new flag, eerily evocative of Somalia’s flag, in terms of color and simplicity.)

Vice President Kamala Harris’ website allows job seekers to choose from among nine different pronoun options when applying for a position on her campaign — leading some social media users to blast the Democrat for having ‘more pronouns than policies.’ 

Applicants can select from the more mainstream “he/him,” “she/her” and “they/them” pronouns or choose less conventional gender-neutral options, including “xe/xem,” ‘ze/hir,’ ‘ey/em,’ and ‘hir/hir.’

‘Hu/hu,’ which indicates that a person wants to emphasize their humanity over their gender, and ‘Fae/faer,’ which denotes that a person is fluid between multiple genders but not masculine genders, are also presented as options.

I hate to even call this list “pronouns” real pronouns, because it’s just a list of nonsense words but nonetheless, here we are.

Kamala Wants Price Controls, and It’s Not Because She Has “Good Intentions.”

The Kamala Harris campaign announced today that it will present a plan to ban “price gouging” by food suppliers. In other words, the Harris campaign plans to mandate price controls. According to UPI: 

Vice President Kamala Harris will propose a federal ban on corporate food and grocery price gouging when she lays out her policies in a North Carolina campaign speech Friday.

According to the campaign, the proposal against price gouging is part of the larger Harris economic policy platform she plans to roll out publicly at a Friday campaign rally in Raleigh.

“There’s a big difference between fair pricing in competitive markets, and excessive prices unrelated to the costs of doing business,” the Harris campaign said in a statement. “Americans can see that difference in their grocery bills.”

Directly addressing soaring meat prices, Harris will focus on corporate consolidation in that market as one reason meat prices are so high.

Get ready for rising prices and shortages in meat and other groceries, because that’s where laws against “price gouging”—which are price controls—lead.

We know this because it’s happened before in the United States. In the 1970s, thanks to years of big-time federal spending on wars and welfare programs, the US abandoned its gold obligations under the Bretton Woods system, and Nixon closed the gold window.
