Rand Paul Warns Overclassification Being Used To Cover Up COVID Lab Leak

Senator Rand Paul warned Wednesday that over classification of information is being used to avoid oversight and institute cover ups, such as regarding the origins of COVID.

Appearing on Newsmax TV’s “Eric Bolling The Balance,” Paul explained “I think there’s an overclassification problem here. Everything’s classified. And in all likelihood, what we’ll find is this is not some sort of organized scheme to have the secrets to the nuclear weapon in [Biden’s] Corvette. I think it’s more likely than not that we’ve classified so many documents that it’s hard to find documents that are not classified.”

He continued, “The one problem with classifying so much is that there is, right now, to my knowledge, pretty good information out there in the intelligence community about the virus originating from the lab in China, and yet they classify it to try to prohibit people [like] me giving you the information that we already know that this came from a lab. And so this is a real problem.”

“We need to allow less classification so the American people can understand more about what’s going on with their government,” Paul urged.

He added, “I go to classified hearings, and I haven’t actually been to a classified hearing where I actually thought I heard a secret, to tell you the truth.”

Another Rich Kid Involved in Terror: Suspect Is Daughter of Chinese Pharma Tycoon

A terror suspect arrested during a police sweep of leftists at a police training center in Atlanta, Georgia, is the daughter of a Chinese pharmaceutical magnate and his wife, a consultant for the British Foreign Office.

Atlanta cops collared 31-year-old Teresa Yue Shen — who also worked for hate-Trump CNN — on January 18, as they swept the forested land where “Cop City” will be built.

Leftist “forest defenders” had staged protests for some time, and last week during the clearing operation, a state trooper was forced to shoot and kill one of the radicals in self-defense.

Cops also found a cache of terror tools.

Shen is a “mental health consultant” who lives in Brooklyn, New York, the Daily Mail reported, whose “parents are high-flying businesspeople, with her father running a New Jersey-based Chinese media company and her mother a former British Foreign Office consultant.”

Shen was one of seven “protesters” cops arrested after the shooting of a “non-binary” crackpot called Manuel Esteban Paez Teran.

The George Bureau of Investigation reported that Shen and the following “protesters,” none of whom are from Atlanta or even Georgia, face domestic terrorism and other felony charges:

  • Geoffrey Parsons, 20, Maryland;
  • Spencer Bernard Liberto, 29, Pennsylvania;
  • Matthew Ernest Macar, 30, Pennsylvania;
  • Timothy Murphy, age, 25, Maine;
  • Christopher Reynolds, 31, Ohio; and,
  • Sarah Wasilewski, 35, Pennsylvania

Shen “was charged with domestic terrorism and aggravated assault of an officer, and was previously arrested during an anti-ICE demonstration at the Bergen County Jail in 2021,” the Mail reported.

It’s Happening: Judge Orders Release of Bodycam Footage From Paul Pelosi Hammer Attack

Stop, hammer time. A California judge has ordered the release of police bodycam footage and portions of a 911 call from the Paul Pelosi home invasion last October. On October 28, 2022, Paul Pelosi was assaulted by David DePape, who wearing only underwear and armed with hammers, gained access to the home of the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, though there were no signs of forced entry. Mr. Pelosi let police into the house after escaping to the bathroom to make an emergency phone call.

That’s when initial reports said DePape attacked Pelosi with a hammer, which led to emergency brain surgery. He fully recovered, but the incident was one of the most bizarre. The security camera footage and the police bodycams weren’t released. Still, a lawsuit filed by multiple news organizations demanded that all video and audio evidence emanating from this bizarre home invasion be released. The motion was granted yesterday (via NBC News):

A coalition of news organizations will gain access Thursday to all courtroom evidence from last year’s attack on then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband at their San Francisco home.

San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Stephen Murphy on Wednesday granted a motion filed by a group of 13 news organizations, including NBC News and The New York Times, requesting the release of evidence in the case against David DePape, the man accused of assaulting Paul Pelosi.

The evidence consists of video from a body camera worn by an officer who responded at the Pelosis’ home on Oct. 28, a 911 call Paul Pelosi made to police, parts of a police interview with DePape and security video taken during the break-in recorded by U.S. Capitol Police in Washington.

US To Increase Artillery Ammunition Production By 500% For Ukraine

The Pentagon is planning to boost its production of artillery ammunition by 500% over the next two years as the US is depleting its military stockpiles by sending millions of shells to Ukraine, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

Since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine, the US has pledged to send Ukraine over one million 155mm artillery shells. Before the US Army began efforts to increase production, it produced 14,400 155mm shells a month, but under the new plans, the number could reach over 90,000 each month.

According to the Times, an Army report said the plan will involve expanding factories and bringing in new producers in an effort described as “the most aggressive modernization effort in nearly 40 years” of the US military-industrial complex.

The unguided 155mm shells that are fired out of Howitzers include parts produced by several arms manufacturers, including steel bodies made by General Dynamics and explosives mixed by BAE Systems. American Ordnance pours the explosives into the bodies, and several other contractors produce the fuzes that are screwed into the shells.

New U.S. Government Research is Finally Admitting that Glyphosate Weed Killer Causes Cancer

If you have already had something to eat today prior to reading this article, chances are very high that you have already ingested glyphosate, the active ingredient in herbicides such as RoundUp, the most widely used agrochemical in the world.

Since I have earned my living for the past two decades by selling clean food, I have been warning the public now for many years about the dangers of these agrochemicals and the contamination of our nation’s commercial food supply.

If you do a search on “glyphosate” at Health Impact News, you will get search result list of over 380 articles that we have published during the past decade.

The advent of genetically modified (GMO) seeds in the late 1990s, particularly corn and soybeans, has allowed the agricultural chemical giants, such as Monsanto, to spray greater quantities of herbicides and pesticides onto the nation’s crops.

In 2014 we began testing commercial grain products to verify that North America’s wheat and grain supply was contaminated by the herbicide glyphosate, even though there are currently no GMO varieties of wheat or other grains.

We found it to be true, due to the practice of “desiccating” crops in the fall with glyphosate in the northern states and Canada to allow the farmers to harvest their wheat before the first snowfall.

Next, we tested our own USDA certified organic grains that we sold in our online store, and were shocked to find out that they were just as contaminated with glyphosate as non-organic grains.

Northrop Grumman expects strong 2023 revenue as weapon demand surges

U.S. defense contractor Northrop Grumman Corp NOC.N on Thursday forecast full-year sales above Wall Street estimates, as it benefits from strong demand for weapons from countries ramping up their defense spend.

The United States and its allies have been buying more arms and ammunitions and supporting Ukraine with billions of dollar in military aid after Russia invaded the country last year.

During the quarter, Northrop rolled out its new B-21 “Raider” jet, the first of a new fleet of long-range stealth nuclear bombers for the United States Air Force.

“We’re raising our sales outlook for 2023 and expect to deliver strong multi-year cash flow growth,” Northrop Grumman Chief Executive Kathy Warden said.

The Falls Church, Virginia-based company expects 2023 sales between $38 billion and $38.4 billion, ahead of the average analyst estimate of $37.86 billion, and an adjusted profit of $21.85 to $22.45 per share, compared with estimates of $22.30, according to Refinitiv IBES data.

Meanwhile, rivals General Dynamics CorpGD.N and Lockheed Martin CorpLMT.N forecast their annual profit below estimates, as the industry grapples with labor and supply shortages.

Northrop, which produces the fuselage for the F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet, posted sales of about $10.03 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 31, ahead of analysts’ average estimate of $9.66 billion.

Sales in its space systems unit, which makes satellites and payloads, jumped 23% to $3.28 billion, helped by higher investments towards space exploration projects.

Pelosis Sold Google Stock One Month Before DOJ Announced Antitrust Lawsuit

Democratic California Rep. Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul, unloaded more than $1.5 million in Alphabet stock one month before the Department of Justice announced an antitrust lawsuit against the tech giant.

The Pelosis sold 30,000 shares of Alphabet, the holding company for Google and several other firms, on Dec. 20, 21, and 28. They received between $1.5 million and $3 million for the total sale, netting capital gains of more than $600, according to a financial disclosure form Pelosi, filed on Jan. 12. The DOJ announced its lawsuit against Alphabet on Tuesday.

Pelosi’s office did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment on the matter.

US Military Spy Plane Spots Metallic-Looking Orb UFO over City in Iraq

A tantalizing image, said to have come from footage captured by a US military spy plane, shows a metallic-looking orb UFO over a city in Iraq. The peculiar picture was released by filmmaker Jeremy Corbell and C2C’s George Knapp in conjunction with the launch of their new podcast Weaponized. “This is an example of the UFOs that our military and intelligence community is looking at,” Corbell said, explaining that the image is a still from an approximately four-second-long video which has yet to be released.

Detailing the circumstances surrounding the strange UFO encounter, he revealed that it occurred over the Iraqi city of Mosul in April of 2016. According to Corbell, the video features the moment when “this orb or metallic ball runs alongside a spy plane, and it’s shown moving beside the plane without dropping altitude at all.” The footage of the incident was reportedly included in a classified briefing to Congress by the Pentagon’s UAP task force and the object, dubbed the ‘Mosul orb,’ is believed to have been under some kind of intelligent control when it was caught on film.

In Venezuela, the US Recognizes a Nonexistent Government

In a piece of bizarre political theater, the US now officially recognizes a government in Venezuela that does not exist. Despite the termination of the government recognized by the US, State Department spokesman Ned Price assured a press briefing that “our approach has not changed.” The US still considers the elected President illegitimate – an increasingly isolated position – and the assembly the unelected president led legitimate, though he no longer leads it, and they are no longer the assembly.

Since February of 2019, the US has recognized the never elected Juan Guaidó as the legitimate leader of Venezuela, creating an already bizarre situation in which there were parallel governments in Venezuela: one recognized within the country and one recognized outside the country.

But the US plan failed in its goal of removing Nicolás Maduro from power. And after four years, the opposition in Venezuela decided to abandon the plan and move on. At the end of December, 2022, Venezuela’s opposition lawmakers by an overwhelming preliminary vote of 72-23, removed Guaidó from power and pulled the plug on his interim government. On December 30, three of Venezuela’s four main opposition parties supported the proposal to remove Guaidó.

Though the US continued to support Guaidó, few in Venezuela did. Only 6% of Venezuelans said they would support Guaidó in presidential primaries, and more than 56% said the interim government should be terminated. Miguel Tinker Salas, Professor of Latin American History at Pomona College, and one of the world’s leading experts on Venezuelan history and politics, told me in November, 2022 that “For all intents and purposes he has been sidelined by developments in the country and even for those in the opposition he is a non-entity.”

Let the Weapons Flow and the Body Count Grow

Two articles I read Monday are typical of polarized, indeed antithetical, views on the Russia-Ukraine War.

At the British Guardian, Simon Tisdall says this is Europe’s moment to step up and support Ukraine in a righteous war against Putin. He concludes, with passion:

Zelenskiy is right. Risk-averse Nato has been too slow and too cautious from the start. To outpace tyranny, Europe must fight – and fight to win. Our common future depends on it.

Putin, the tyrant, must be stopped in Ukraine, or Poland and Germany could be next. Fighting to win means that Ukraine must be given not only hundreds of Leopard 2 tanks but also combat jets. The combination of tanks, jets, and related ancillary equipment will enable Ukraine to drive Russian forces out of the country in a quasi-Blitzkrieg operation. Victory to the West!Why not talks instead of tanks?
