Second Video Surfaces of Michigan Democrat City Councilman Allegedly Stuffing Ballots in the Dead of Night

A second surveillance video has emerged showing Hamtramck City Councilman Abu Musa, a Democrat from Wayne County, Michigan, allegedly engaging in late-night ballot-stuffing operations just days before the August primary.

Click on Detroit obtained over 800 hours of surveillance footage through a FOIA request, revealing two disturbing incidents.

In the first video, a black pickup truck pulls up to Hamtramck City Hall in the dead of night.

The footage shows three men inside, including what appears to be Councilman Musa in the backseat, while the driver is aggressively stuffing bundled absentee ballots into the dropbox.

Only four days later, a second clip shows Musa in the passenger seat of a different vehicle, handing over three large stacks of ballots to the driver, who then deposits them into the dropbox, according to Click on Detroit.

Michigan State Police have confirmed that these videos are now part of an active criminal investigation, which is being compiled for potential referral to prosecutors.

Family horror: Relatives get told on social media their mother is dead, by ‘assisted suicide’

A family in Ireland is working through the shock notification, on social media, that their mother is dead – by “assisted suicide,” in a situation about which they knew nothing.

According to the Christian Institute, Maureen Slough, 58, from County Cavan, left, telling family members she was going on holiday to Lithuania.

Instead, she went to the death-dealing Pegasos clinic in Switzerland.

Her family was notified shortly later, via social media platform WhatsApp, that she was dead.

The institute reported, “She had struggled with mental health and previously tried to commit suicide after the death of her two sisters.”

Pegasos officials claimed her daughter, Megan Royal, had confirmed her mother’s intentions, Megan said the “acknowledgment letter” probably was forged.

Writing in the Sunday Independent, columnist David Quinn stated: “It is a sad part of the human condition that nearly all of us will face very significant struggles at various points in our lives. Maureen Slough clearly did, but she had a loving daughter willing to help her,” the institute explained.

To Share Weights from Neural Network Training Is Dangerous

Some organizations and researchers are sharing neural network weights, particularly through the open-weight model movement. These include Meta’s Llama series, Mistral’s models, and DeepSeek’s open-weight releases, which claim to democratize access to powerful AI. But doing so raises not only security concerns, but potentially an existential threat.

For background, I have written a few articles on LLMs and AIs as part of my own learning process in this very dynamic and quickly evolving Pandora’s open box field. You can read those here, here, and here.

Once you understand what neural networks are and how they are trained on data, you will also understand what weights (and biases) and backpropagation are. It’s basically just linear algebra and matrix vector multiplication to yield numbers, to be honest. More specifically, a weight is a number (typically a floating-point value – a way to write numbers with decimal points for more accuracy) that represents the strength or importance of the connection between two neurons or nodes across different layers of the neural network.

I highly recommend watching 3Blue1Brown’s videos to gain a better understanding, and it’s important that you do. 3Blue1Brown’s instructional videos are incredibly good.

Start with this one.

And head to this one.

The weights are the parameter values determined from data in a neural network to make predictions or decisions to arrive at a solution. Each weight is an instruction telling the network how important certain pieces of information are, like how much to pay attention to a specific color or shape in a picture. These weights are numbers that get fine-tuned during training thanks to all those decimal points, helping the network figure out patterns. Examples include recognizing a dog in a photo or translating a sentence. They are critical in the ‘thinking’ process of a neural network.

You can think of the weights in a neural network like the paths of least resistance that guide the network toward the best solution. Imagine water flowing down a hill, naturally finding the easiest routes to reach the bottom. In a neural network, the weights are adjusted during training on data sets to create the easiest paths for information to flow through, helping the network quickly and accurately solve problems, like recognizing patterns or making predictions, by emphasizing the most important connections and minimizing errors.

If you’re an electronic musician, think of weights like the dials on your analog synth that allow you to tune into the right frequency or sound to say, mimic a sound you want to recreate, or in fact, create a new one. If you’re a sound guy, you can also think of it like adjusting the knobs on your mixer to balance different instruments.

Nothing to See Here: World Economic Forum Internal Investigation Clears Founder Klaus Schwab of Wrongdoing

An internal investigation conducted by the World Economic Forum has determined that there was no evidence that founder and former chairman Klaus Schwab committed wrongdoing during his time at the helm of the top globalist institution.

Amid stepping down as chairman of the WEF in April, Great Reset architect Klaus Schwab faced accusations from whistleblowers of misconduct, including using World Economic Forum funds to pay for in-room massages in hotels, having staff withdraw WEF money from ATMs for his personal use, and using the organisation’s global competitivesness report to “curry favour” with certain governments.

The 87-year-old German-born economist denied all allegations and reportedly launched a lawsuit against the whistleblowers. In response, the WEF hired the Swiss law firm Homburger as well as the American Covington & Burling firm to carry out an internal investigation into Schwab.

Announcing the findings of the probe on Friday, the organisation said, according to the Financial Times: “Minor irregularities, stemming from blurred lines between personal contributions and forum operations, reflect deep commitment rather than intent of misconduct.”

The WEF board went on to say that it sought to “address all issues identified throughout the investigation, including strengthening the governance in general”.

Maryland’s energy price explosion

In July, my electric bill crossed a number I never thought I’d see: over $500. Yes, it was a brutally hot month, but we’ve had very hot summers before in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. We’ve run the air conditioning nonstop before and never reached even $400.

What’s going on?

A few things. Let’s start with this week’s announcement by Maryland Gov. Wes Moore of a $2 million “Residential and Commercial Energy Storage Program.” The idea is to offer rebates to homeowners and businesses that install battery systems, which can store energy and reduce strain on the grid. Moore says, “When we invest in clean energy, we help expand supply.”

That all sounds nice. But here’s the problem: Every “investment” like this costs money, our money, and it hasn’t lowered a single bill so far. In fact, it’s done the opposite. Almost laughable is another planned “solution” to the energy crisis: Maryland utility customers will receive a rebate on their bills next month, estimated at about $40 per household, depending on electricity usage. A second rebate is planned for January.

On June 1, utility rates across Maryland jumped. Baltimore Gas & Electric, Pepco, Delmarva Power — pick your provider, the story’s the same. We were told it’s because of supply problems and the need for infrastructure upgrades. The reality? The state continues to remove reliable, always-on energy sources and replace them with more expensive alternatives that can’t carry the load on their own. We’re importing more energy from other states at higher rates and paying for that gap via higher bills.

The jump we saw in our bills this summer isn’t a one-time bump. Maryland is part of a regional power grid called PJM. Recently, the price PJM charges to ensure there’s enough power cleared at the maximum allowed rate. Translation: In 2026, we’ll see another increase, 1.5% to 5% higher on top of what we’re already paying now. And that’s just the short term. With the growing demand from massive data centers sucking up power, Reuters reports bills in our region could climb 30% to 60% by 2030.

‘Godfather of AI’ Geoffrey Hinton Wants Machines to ‘Care for Us, Like We’re Their Babies’

Geoffrey Hinton, often called the “Godfather of AI,” is calling on researchers to design AI systems with built-in nurturing instincts, arguing this is necessary to keep humanity safe as machines surpass human-level intelligence. The AI expert believes machines must be trained to “care for us, like we’re babies.”

The Decoder reports that speaking at the recent Ai4 conference in Las Vegas, Hinton made the case that trying to permanently keep superintelligent AI under human control is unrealistic. Rather than humans acting as the boss of advanced AI, he envisions a future where people relate to hyper-capable machines more like how a child depends on its mother.

“We need to make machines that are smarter than us care for us, like we’re their babies,” Hinton said in his talk. “The focus of AI development should expand beyond just making systems more and more intelligent, to also ensuring they are imbued with genuine concern for human wellbeing.”

Under Hinton’s framework, humanity’s role would shift from commanding AI to nurturing it, even as it grows to eclipse human capabilities. He drew an analogy to good parenting, where caring mothers help guide the development of children who will ultimately become more capable than them. Hinton argues AI research should strive to hardwire a similar dynamic between people and machines.

The former Google researcher, who left the company to more freely discuss AI’s risks, believes his “mothering AI” approach could unite the international community around developing safe artificial intelligence. “Every country wants AI that augments and supports its citizens, not replaces them,” Hinton said. “Built-in nurturing instincts provide a natural path to that kind of supportive AI.”

Meta’s chief AI scientist, Yann LeCun, described Hinton’s idea as a simplified version of a safety approach he has long advocated for, which LeCun dubs “objective-driven AI.” It involves architecturally constraining AI systems so they can only take actions in service of specific, hard-coded goals and values.

Blue State Lawmaker Hit With Corruption Charges

Los Angeles City Councilmember Curren Price, a Democrat, is facing additional corruption charges after new evidence revealed that the city’s housing authority and LA Metro paid Price’s wife more than $800,000.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that two new public corruption charges had been filed against the embattled lawmaker. The latest charges build on the existing case against Price, which has existed since 2023.

In June of that year, he was charged with five felony counts of embezzlement of government funds, three felony counts of perjury and two felony counts of conflict of interest.

Prosecutors allege that Del Richardson & Associates, a company owned solely by Price’s wife, Delbra Pettice Richardson, received payments totaling upwards of $150,000 between 2019 and 2021 from developers who had been green-lit for city contracts by the councilman. Price is also accused of embezzling approximately $33,800 in city funds from 2013-2017 to pay for medical benefits for Richardson, who he falsely claimed was his wife while still legally married to Lynn Suzette Price,” Fox 11 Los Angeles reported.

Price pleaded not guilty to those charges in December 2023 and was released.

Biden Judge Blocks FTC Investigation Into Far-Left Media Matters

A federal judge on Friday shut down the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) investigation into far-left Media Matters.

US District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, a Biden appointee, issued an injunction against the FTC and blocked its investigation into Media Matters.

The judge said the Trump Administration illegally retaliated against Media Matters.

“This case presents a straightforward First Amendment violation,” judge Sparkle Sooknanan wrote.

In May, the Federal Trade Commission launched an investigation into Media Matters for America, the far left group that targets conservative media outlets and personalities to put them out of business.

Media Matters for America is funded by the top Democrat Megadonors who value their work.

Soros-funded Media Matters and several leftist groups like Sleeping Giants run by Matt Rivitz have been harassing American corporations for years to quit advertising with conservative platforms, websites and businesses. The Gateway Pundit has been a prime target by these leftist groups and government agencies.

In May 2022, CNN published a hit piece on Elon Musk and Twitter. The article was the far left’s attempt to sway advertisers from posting ads on Twitter.

Elon Musk exposed the culprits behind the coordinated attacks on X’s advertisers – Media Matters. CNN even admitted that Media Matters sent out a threatening letter to Twitter advertisers to quit paying for ads on the platform.

Elon Musk announced in November 2023, that his company X-Corp will be filing a “thermo-nuclear” lawsuit against Media Matters “the second court opens on Monday.”

Elon added that he will sue “Their board, their donors, their network of dark money, all of them…”

In his statement, he released earlier this year, Elon accused Media Matters of creating a fake account that then curated the posts and advertising appearing on the account’s timeline to misinform advertisers about the placement of their posts.

The FTC in May announced that it would open an investigation into the far-left advocacy group for their coordinated attacks on X and its advertisers.

The US Federal Trade Commission demanded documents from Media Matters about its coordination with other leftist groups to rid X of its advertisers.

JUSTICE DENIED: How a Black Liberal Democrat Is Allegedly Being Discriminated Against by White Liberal Oregon Politicians

Bob Parker deserves justice and he needs our help:  For 37 years liberal white Democrats who have controlled Oregon’s governmental institutions have and are still denying him compensation for the damage the legislature acknowledges (Senate Resolution 22 passed in 2021) he suffered at the hands of politicians, lobbyists, the Oregon Supreme Court and the Oregon State Bar. (Liberal Oregonian columnist Steve Duin details the basics here for background.)

Parker alleges in a letter to US Attorney General Pam Bondi that ‘institutional bias and systemic racism’ exists within the Oregon Department of Justice led by Trump hating Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield and the Department of Administrative Services led by far-left Trump hater Governor Tina Kotek.  Parker asks AG Bondi to have the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ initiate an investigation into these government agencies regarding the alleged bias and racism.

The irony is that Bob Parker is black and a self-described Democrat trained political operative who has been denied compensation for years by white, liberal Democrats in charge of the government, even though that same government including the Oregon Supreme Court now admits he did no wrong.

Imagine that: White Democrat liberals who claim to be the champions of blacks show their true, hypocritical colors when it comes to opening the check book to right a wrong they inflicted on a fellow Democrat, who just happens to be black.

Former Oregon State Representative and Trump supporter Jeff Kropf adds a cover letter to AG Bondi stating that he knows Parker’s story is true and that in his opinion Parker is being discriminated against by Oregon DOJ.

Putin Proposes, in Return for the Control of the Donbas Region, to Freeze the Frontlines in Ukraine’s Southern Kherson and Zaporozhie, No More Russian Territorial Conquests: REPORT

Russia is reportedly easing their territorial demands for peace.

In the few hours since the historic Alaska meeting between Donald J. Trump and Vladimir Putin, myriads of articles have been written in the MSM, mostly trying to discredit the US-Russia peace negotiations, as well as planting false information about what happened behind the scenes.

However, some reports have arisen that bear all the markings of actual intel, suggesting that Putin is asking for a little less for peace than a year ago.

I first found this suggestion five days ago in the Italian Corriere Della Sera, which interviewed Russian scholar Dmitry Suslov, deputy director at the Higher School of Economics and a long-time foreign policy adviser to the Kremlin.

“I remember that a year ago Moscow had asked the Ukrainians for the complete withdrawal from all four annexed provinces, while now it is only asking for that from the Donbas. A crucial part of the agreement is Ukraine’s commitment not to join NATO.”
