How Much U.S. Has Given Israel and How Much U.S. Military Has Spent to Protect It, Since the Gaza War Began

Since the Gaza war began on October 7, 2023, the United States has poured massive financial and military support into Israel, marking one of the largest aid efforts in modern U.S. history. According to recent studies, Washington has provided an estimated $21.7 billion in military assistance to Israel over the past two years — about $17.9 billion during the first year of fighting and roughly $3.8 billion in the following months. These figures represent a combination of direct arms transfers, financial aid, and replenishment of Israel’s missile defense systems such as Iron Dome and David’s Sling.

Much of this funding came from emergency appropriations and presidential drawdowns, which allowed the U.S. to deliver weapons and ammunition directly from its own stockpiles without waiting for new contracts to be approved. Within weeks of the October 2023 attacks, U.S. aircraft were flying shipments of artillery shells, precision-guided bombs, and interceptors to Israeli bases. Congress later formalized these actions through a $14.1 billion supplemental package in early 2024 that reimbursed the Pentagon and expanded Israel’s access to advanced defense systems. In early 2025, the U.S. approved another $8 billion in arms sales, ensuring a steady flow of weaponry in the years ahead.

But beyond financial aid, the U.S. has spent billions more on its own military operations in the Middle East to shield Israel from regional threats. Analysts at Brown University’s Costs of War project estimate that between October 2023 and September 2025, American military operations related to the Gaza war cost between $9.6 and $12 billion. These expenses cover the deployment of aircraft carriers, fighter jets, missile-defense batteries, and surveillance assets in the eastern Mediterranean and Red Sea. The U.S. Navy maintained carrier strike groups, such as the USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, near Israel’s coast for months, acting as a visible deterrent to Iran-backed militias and providing rapid-response capabilities if the conflict spread.

American forces also launched limited air and missile strikes on groups like the Houthis in Yemen, who had been targeting Red Sea shipping routes in protest of the Gaza war. These actions, while not directly part of Israel’s operations, were considered essential to protect Israel and maintain regional stability, according to U.S. defense officials. Together with increased patrols, intelligence flights, and logistics costs, they formed a significant share of Washington’s wartime spending.

The overall U.S. investment — both in aid to Israel and in its own regional missions — now totals between $30 billion and $35 billion since the start of the conflict. This figure represents not only direct support for Israel’s military campaign but also the cost of sustaining America’s wider strategic presence in the Middle East. Officials argue that such support is necessary to deter Iran and maintain the balance of power, while critics point out that it deepens U.S. involvement in a war that has caused widespread civilian suffering in Gaza and strained Washington’s global image.

Even as the fighting enters its third year, shipments of U.S. arms and funds continue, and naval assets remain stationed near the conflict zone. The financial and operational commitment underscores the depth of Washington’s alliance with Israel — one that now extends far beyond arms sales, involving continuous military engagement, strategic cover, and billions in taxpayer dollars to sustain a war that shows few signs of ending soon.

Bombshell: Antifa Is Funded by Taxpayers Through Nonprofits

Jonathan Choe, an investigative reporter for TPUSA and a senior journalist fellow for Discovery Institute, explained to President Trump today during a roundtable on Antifa that Antifa is heavily embedded in the homeless and housing nonprofit sector.

“Hot off the presses,” Choe began, “what I wanted to bring to your attention today is a report from a Capital Research Center here in DC, in conjunction with Discovery Institute. They just put out this study right now. And what it shows is that Antifa is heavily embedded in the homeless and housing nonprofit sector. In many cases, the homeless industrial complex is running cover for Antifa.

“Antifa is benefiting from American tax dollars, and they’re essentially being used as the muscle. Let me give you an example. There’s a group called Stop the Sweeps in many US cities right now. They get in front of encampment sweeps. What they’re doing, quietly is they’re bringing in Antifa militants to manufacture a crisis, to make the police look bad.

“Another group right now that is behind Antifa and working with Antifa very closely, based on the research that we have right now that we’re going to give to you and your team, are the democratic socialists of America, also known as DSA. Again, these far left progressive groups tend to be aligning themselves with Antifa.

“So finally, in closing… is that a few months ago, earlier this year, you put out an executive order on homelessness and the drug addiction crisis in America, and that’s sent the entire homeless industrial complex on the run. You have absolutely moved the needle and changed the game. But what’s also come out again is that there is a connection, a deeply embedded connection, with the homeless housing nonprofit game in America, connected to Antifa and the far left activists.

Judge Orders HHS to Rescind Changes to Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs

The Health and Human Services Department (HHS) must rescind changes it imposed to teen pregnancy prevention programs, a federal judge ruled on Oct. 7.

Updated conditions for organizations carrying out the programs, which cited executive orders from President Donald Trump, were so vague that the organizations could not know how to comply, Judge Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said in a 65-page decision.

“The Policy Notice mandates compliance now, without providing plaintiffs with any meaningful standard for achieving that compliance,” Howell said.

She ordered HHS to vacate the notice laying out the updated conditions for grant recipients.

An HHS spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that the department would not comment on litigation. The spokesperson pointed to the news release for the policy, which states in part that the update “safeguards the rights of parents to protect their children from content that undermines their religious beliefs.”

Under the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, created by Congress in 2009, HHS provides money to organizations to carry out “medically accurate and age appropriate programs that reduce teen pregnancy.” Most of the funds go to programs that “have been proven effective through rigorous evaluation to reduce teenage pregnancy, behavioral risk factors underlying teenage pregnancy, or other associated risk factors.”

Ukrainian parliament confirms local elections will not be held due to martial law

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a resolution that ensures the continuity of representative bodies of local self-government given the conditions of military aggression by Russia, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.

The document states that the organization, preparation and holding of local elections in accordance with national legislation and European standards for democratic elections are impossible in the conditions of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and given the declared martial law in the country.

At the same time, the parliamentary resolution emphasizes the stable functioning of local government bodies and the exercise of their powers in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.

According to the document, mayors, municipal and city councilors and regional councils will remain in power until holding elections after the war with Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a meeting with Donald Trump earlier this year that he was ready to hold elections after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

According to the Ukrainian constitution, the country was supposed to hold local elections on October 26, five years after the 2020 elections. This would affect the term of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, who has been in office since 2014. Due to martial law in the country, regular parliamentary elections in October 2023 and presidential elections in March 2024 were canceled. This gives Russia reason to question Volodymyr Zelensky’s legitimacy, DPA reports.

Alleged Chicago Gang Member Charged for Putting Bounty on Border Patrol Chief

Federal authorities have charged an alleged Chicago gang member with plotting to kill a senior immigration enforcement officer spearheading a large-scale operation in the city.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Monday that Juan Espinoza Martinez, 37, an alleged member of the Latin Kings gang, faces charges of soliciting fellow gang members and others to gather intelligence on the officer and offering $10,000 for his murder.

According to court documents unsealed the same day, the target of the alleged plot was Gregory Bovino, commander-at-large of the U.S. Border Patrol. Bovino has been leading federal enforcement operations in Chicago since mid-September, after previously overseeing a similar mission in Los Angeles as part of the Trump administration’s campaign to combat crimes committed by illegal immigrants in some of the nation’s largest cities.

Investigators said Espinoza Martinez used Snapchat to circulate a photo of Bovino, offering $2,000 for information leading to his capture. He later appeared to raise the offer to “10k if you take him down.”

DHS said it learned of these messages after receiving a screenshot from a source on Oct. 3. Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) identified Espinoza Martinez as the account holder and arrested him on Oct. 6 in Burr Ridge, a suburb 20 miles southwest of Chicago.

DHS said Martinez is from Mexico and entered the United States illegally at an unknown time.

Globalist Leaders Pushing Economic Restructuring, The Green Agenda, and Great Reset

King Charles is arguably the highest-placed globalist on Earth. While it is debatable who the world’s biggest globalists are, six of the most prominent, King Charles, Bill Gates, Tony Blair, António Guterres, Ursula von der Leyen, and Klaus Schwab, are working together to promote policies that expand global governance through climate-based economic controls and large-scale financial restructuring that would fundamentally transform free-market capitalism.

King Charles has long been a central figure in the World Economic Forum’s global agenda. In June 2020, he and the WEF co-launched The Great Reset, calling it “a golden opportunity to seize something good from this crisis.” The initiative sought to “rebuild, redesign, reinvigorate, and rebalance our world,” aligning the global economy with climate and sustainability goals.

Through his Sustainable Markets Initiative, Charles called for a complete redesign of economic systems to make them “greener, more inclusive, and sustainable.” His ten “green recovery” actions included creating global carbon markets, directing investment into sustainable infrastructure, and embedding nature-based solutions in corporate strategies.

In 2021, Charles introduced the Terra Carta, a charter placing “nature and the planet at the center of global value creation,” supported by more than 500 CEOs and organizations. He even urged lifestyle restrictions such as going meat- and fish-free two days a week and dairy-free one day a week to reduce carbon footprints.

For these policies to work, they would require heavy government intervention and constant monitoring, backed by fines or punishments to enforce compliance. Since this framework puts “nature and the planet” at the core of “value creation,” free-market capitalism could not survive. A central authority would have to decide what goods could be produced, in what quantities, and at what price, in other words, communism.

Gates has also been outspoken on environmental and food policy, advocating for behavioral and regulatory shifts to reduce emissions. He has argued that “all rich countries should move to 100 percent synthetic beef,” adding that “eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the behavior of people or use regulation to totally shift the demand.”

This represents a fundamental restructuring of food systems, where government regulation would override consumer choice and market forces to impose dietary changes on entire populations in the name of climate goals.

Trump has yet to provide Congress hard evidence that targeted boats carried drugs, officials say

The Trump administration has yet to provide underlying evidence to lawmakers proving that alleged drug-smuggling boats targeted by the U.S. military in a series of fatal strikes were in fact carrying narcotics, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

As bipartisan frustration with the strikes mounts, the Republican-controlled Senate on Wednesday voted down a war powers resolution that would have required the president to seek authorization from Congress before further military strikes on the cartels.

The military has carried out at least four strikes on boats that the White House said were carrying drugs, including three it said originated from Venezuela. It said 21 people were killed in the strikes.

The officials, who were not authorized to comment publicly about the matter and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the administration has only pointed to unclassified video clips of the strikes posted on social media by President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and has yet to produce “hard evidence” that the vessels were carrying drugs.

The administration has not explained why it has blown up vessels in some cases, while carrying out the typical practice of stopping boats and seizing drugs at other times, one of the officials said.

Trump Says He Will Designate Antifa Foreign Terror Org During Meeting with Independent Journalists Posobiec, Sortor

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he would designate Antifa a foreign terrorist organization after a roundtable on the far-left extremist group with independent journalists,  Jack Posobiec, Nick Sortor, and others who have delivered tremendous on-the-ground reporting on Antifa.

While fielding questions from members of the press pool observing the roundtable, one reporter asked Trump if he would designate Antifa, which he has labeled a domestic terrorist group, as a foreign terrorist group.

“Well, has that been done? Pretty close, right? Would you like to see it done,” Trump asked, to which Posibeic immediately responded, “Yes, Mr. President.”

“They have foreign links all across Western Europe, the Middle East,” Posoibec added.

Trump added he would like to take such action, telling Secretary of State Marco Rubio, “We’ll take care of it.”

When Trump conferred with White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Miller signed on.

“Yes, it’s true. There are extensive foreign ties, and I think that would be a very valid step to take,” Miller said.

Trump invited both Sortor, who Portland police arrested last week while he covered Antifa at an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protest, and Posobiec to speak during the roundtable.

Sortor brought an American flag he saved from radicals who set it ablaze in the Portland street and displayed it before Cabinet officials and reporters in the room.

President Trump Suggests that Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker May Face Criminal Charges – DHS Sec Kristi Noem Reveals that Portland Police Were Cheering on Antifa’s Calls for Violence with Their “Fists in the Air”, Says Officials Should be Prosecuted

President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called for the prosecution of Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker for perpetuating attacks against law enforcement on Wednesday during a “Roundtable on ANTIFA” at the White House.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, federal officers from CBP and ICE were recently ambushed by a convoy of roughly ten vehicles in what officials described as a “coordinated assault” by domestic extremists against law enforcement.

Chicago police, however, were explicitly ordered to stand down and ignore the distress calls from federal agents.

“The governor knew about it, the mayor knew about it,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday, while suggesting criminality.

Trump called for Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker to be jailed on Truth Social this morning, stating, “Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect Ice Officers! Governor Pritzker also!“

Senate Votes Down Resolution Seeking to Halt Trump’s Use of Military Force Against Cartel Boats

The U.S. Senate has voted against legislation seeking to direct the withdrawal of the U.S. military from hostilities that have not been authorized by Congress.

The proposal was a direct challenge to President Donald Trump’s decision as commander in chief to use military force against drug cartels operating in waters around the United States.

The 48-51 vote on Wednesday was mostly split along party lines, although Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Maine) crossed the floor to support the Democrat-led resolution, while Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) crossed the floor to join the majority of Republicans to reject it.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) sponsored the measure, which was filed under the War Powers Act of 1973.

The resolution bill sought to direct the removal of the United States military from hostilities that Congress has not authorized. The bill came in response to U.S. military hits on four vessels linked to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. U.S. officials said the ships were involved in smuggling drugs into the United States. At least 21 people have been killed in these military operations.

The resolution said that drug trafficking could not be considered an armed attack or an imminent threat justifying military action, and that designating an organization as a foreign terrorist group did not authorize such use of force. It noted the United States retains the right to act in self-defense against an armed attack.
