Pro-Migration Activist: Democrats’ Welcome for Migrants Requires Cruelty

Pro-migration Democrats must be cruel to many more future migrants if they want to avoid another migration crisis that allowed the election of President Donald Trump, says a pro-migration professor at George Mason University.

“We might decide to let in more migrants, but still we will end up being cruel to the would-be migrants” who don’t quite reach the criteria for being allowed into the United States, Tyler Cowen wrote in an article for The Free Press.  “And as demand to migrate continues to rise, we have to be increasingly coercive over time.”

The article was headlined “Why ‘Humane’ Immigration Policy Ends in Cruelty.”

Cowen outlined the strategic problem the Democratic Party faces:

The dilemma: Due to the ever-rising numbers of migration to the United States, the [politically vital] enforcement of immigration restrictions has to become more oppressive and more unpleasant as time passes. The alternative course, which is equally unpleasant, is that [uncontrolled] immigration increases to levels that voters find unacceptable, and we fall under the rule of anti-immigrant parties—which are illiberal on many other issues as well.

The news gets worse. The more pro-immigration you are and the more you allow some foreigners to enter this country, the more others on the outside will wish to come too. Unless you are going to open the border entirely (not a good idea), you will end up having to impose increasingly harsh measures on illegal arrivals, and tougher and tougher restrictions on potentially legal applicants. The liberals in essence become the illiberals.

“There are … few ways to keep people out that do not involve the extensive presence of coercive police, border arrests, imprisonment, and other unpleasant measures,” he wrote. “We have to be increasingly coercive over time,” said Cowen.

That tail-wagging-the-dog process played out during President Joe Biden’s four years, when his progressive deputies invented reasons to welcome roughly 15 million migrants — including 10 million “inadmissible” southern migrants — despite rising public opposition.

Yet Biden’s progressive deputies refused anything more than token security measures at the border and instead opened up many more quasi-legal and legal pathways for diverse migrants to settle in American communities, drive down wages, and inflate housing prices. For example, Biden’s pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, repeatedly cited Canada as the example he wanted to follow.  “We look to the north, with Canada,” Mayorkas said in September 20024, adding:

Canada takes a look at its market needs, and it says, “You know what? We need 700,000 foreign workers to address our labor needs domestically.” And, so, they build a visa system for that year to address the current market condition. And they say, “We’re going to bring in a million people.” And it’s market sensitive.

That process killed many thousands of migrants, ensured criminal and sexual attacks on many more migrants, including younger migrants. It also helped to re-elect Donald Trump in 2024.

Congress Goes Parental on Social Media and Your Privacy

Washington has finally found a monster big enough for bipartisan unity: the attention economy. In a moment of rare cross-aisle cooperation, lawmakers have introduced two censorship-heavy bills and a tax scheme under the banner of the UnAnxious Generation package.

The name, borrowed from Jonathan Haidt’s pop-psychology hit The Anxious Generation, reveals the obvious pitch: Congress will save America’s children from Silicon Valley through online regulation and speech controls.

Representative Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts, who has built a career out of publicly scolding tech companies, says he’s going “directly at their jugular.”

The plan: tie legal immunity to content “moderation,” tax the ad money, and make sure kids can’t get near an app without producing an “Age Signal.” If that sounds like a euphemism for surveillance, that’s because it is.

The first bill, the Deepfake Liability Act, revises Section 230, the sacred shield that lets platforms host your political rants, memes, and conspiracy reels without getting sued for them.

Under the new proposal, that immunity becomes conditional on a vague “duty of care” to prevent deepfake porn, cyberstalking, and “digital forgeries.”

TIME’s report doesn’t define that last term, which could be a problem since it sounds like anything from fake celebrity videos to an unflattering AI meme of your senator. If “digital forgery” turns out to include parody or satire, every political cartoonist might suddenly need a lawyer on speed dial.

Auchincloss insists the goal is accountability, not censorship. “If a company knows it’ll be liable for deepfake porn, cyberstalking, or AI-created content, that becomes a board-level problem,” he says. In other words, a law designed to make executives sweat.

But with AI-generated content specifically excluded from Section 230 protections, the bill effectively redefines the internet’s liability protections.

Pentagon Seeks To Explain A Little-Known, Forgotten ‘Forever War’

The US Department of War insisted on Tuesday that it’s not waging a “forever war” in Somalia despite the fact that the Trump administration has shattered the record for annual airstrikes in the country.

Liam Cosgrove, a reporter for ZeroHedge, noted during a Pentagon press briefing on Tuesday that the US has launched 101 airstrikes (now 102) in Somalia and that US troops reportedly conducted a recent ground raid, and asked why the US military is still in the country.

“I can assure you this is an America First Department of War and president, so we aren’t conducting forever wars in Somalia, we aren’t seeking regime change, and we’re not nation building,” Pentagon spokeswoman Kingsley Wilson said in reply.

The Trump administration has dramatically escalated the US war in Somalia, launching more than 10 times the number of airstrikes that the US conducted in 2024, and more than the combined total of airstrikes launched during the 12 years that Presidents Obama and Biden were in office. Despite the unprecedented scale of US strikes, Kingsley described the campaign as “narrowly scoped.”

She told Cosgrove, “I will say that this Department’s narrowly scoped, intelligence-driven, counterintelligence operations in places like Somalia, alongside our partners, allow us to protect the American homeland from terrorist threats and to protect our interests.”

US airstrikes this year have targeted a small ISIS affiliate based in caves in Somalia’s northeastern Puntland region and al-Shabaab in southern and central Somalia.

The US has been fighting al-Shabaab since it backed an Ethiopian invasion of Somalia in 2006, which ousted the Islamic Courts Union, a coalition of Muslim groups that briefly held power in Mogadishu after taking the capital from CIA-backed warlords.

How Trump’s Own Appointees Aided Russiagate Plot Against Him

When Obama administration officials manufactured U.S. intelligence tying Donald Trump to Moscow following his stunning 2016 victory, they had no idea Trump’s own political appointees would help them undermine Trump’s presidency – and his chances of reelection in 2020.

RCI’s review of recently declassified documents and exclusive interviews with former Trump officials reveals for the first time how key members of Trump’s cabinet and other appointees during his first term shrouded the previous administration’s machinations and either deliberately or inadvertently misled the public into thinking the fake Russiagate intelligence was real.

Former Special Counsel John Durham, former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former CIA Director Gina Haspel dismissed or buried evidence that cast doubt on a foundational document of the Russigate hoax – the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) prepared in the waning days of the Obama administration.

Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General William Barr, stopped the declassification and release of key exculpatory evidence debunking the ICA on the eve of the 2020 election, which has not been reported previously.

Ukraine war: Putin accused of ‘wasting the world’s time’ after rejecting Trump peace deal

Vladimir Putin has been accused of “wasting the world’s time” after rejecting the latest iteration of Donald Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, were involved in a five-hour discussion at the Kremlin, which came days after separate talks were held with a Ukrainian delegation in Florida.

Follow live: Ukraine war latest

But following the meeting, Yuri Ushakov, Mr Putin’s foreign policy adviser, warned that a compromise is yet to be found – and added that “there’s still a lot of work to be done” before both presidents meet again.

Mr Ushakov said: “We could agree on some things, and the president confirmed this to his interlocutors. Other things provoked criticism – and the president also didn’t hide our critical and even negative attitude toward a number of proposals.

“Territorial issues were specifically discussed, without which we see no resolution to the crisis.”

Explosion Rocks Part Of Russia’s Strategic Druzhba Pipeline – All Caught On Camera

While Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are in Moscow working to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine, a series of attacks on Russia-linked oil tankers unfolded both before and during their visit. Now, reports are also emerging of an explosion along the Druzhba oil pipeline.

On Wednesday morning, Kyiv Post cited sources in Ukraine’s Military Intelligence (HUR) that reported an explosion struck the Druzhba (“Friendship”) oil pipeline – one of Europe’s most important energy arteries, which moves roughly 1.2 to 1.5 million barrels per day from Russia through Belarus and Ukraine into Central Europe.

Kyiv Post said an incendiary explosive device detonated on the pipeline near Kazynskiye Vyselki along the Taganrog-Lipetsk segment. The outlet cited residents who heard the powerful blast.

Per the outlet:

The source said the strike took place near Kazynskiye Vyselki, along the Taganrog-Lipetsk section of the pipeline. A HUR official familiar with the operation said the blast was triggered by a remotely detonated explosive fitted with incendiary compounds to intensify the fire.

Footage of the incident has emerged on X…

Trump Suggests Michelle Obama Was Caught Using Joe Biden’s Autopen

President Donald Trump blasted open another online firehose Monday night, tossing out a fresh theory that Michelle Obama used Joe Biden’s notorious autopen.

Trump’s Truth Social account turned into a late-night rally, with the commander-in-chief unleashing more than 160 posts between 7 p.m. and midnight. Most of it came from MAGA influencers like YouTuber Benny Johnson and commentator Scott Jennings, who filled the feed with red-meat content for Trump’s base.

But the headline-grabber was a repost of Alex Jones. Trump boosted a video from the InfoWars host along with the claim that “Michelle Obama may have used Biden’s autopen in the final days of his disastrous administration to pardon key individuals.”

Trump has long accused Biden of leaning on a mechanical signing device to push through executive orders and pardons as his presidency sputtered to an end. Before leaving office, Biden granted clemency to several of Trump’s fiercest critics, including retired Gen. Mark Milley and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

However, so far, there does not appear to be much evidence that the former first lady had anything to do with Biden’s last-minute pardon spree.

Fiber Optic Drones That Can’t Be Jammed Are Leaving Webs of Wires Everywhere in Ukraine’s Battlefields

Web of death covers the Ukrainian fields.

Drones have become the most lethal weapons in the Russia-Ukraine war, from small user-quality quadcopters dropping bombs, up to sophisticated attack drones like the Iranian Shahed (called by Russians ‘Geran’) flying in swarms.

The inexpensive devices have all but retired the million-dollar tanks, and a technological EW race was on to find ways to jam the frequencies of the drones, disturbing the operator’s control and crashing them off-target.

That was going on for a while, until small, unjammable drones controlled by fiber-optic cables began dominating the battlefields.

They have become so integral to Russian and Ukrainian operations that they leave massive trails of cabling everywhere, turning the battlefield into a tangled web.

Business Insider reported:

“As a counter to extensive electronic warfare, fiber-optic drones are becoming increasingly prevalent on both sides. And with sprawling cables stretched across the battlefield, soldiers are moving with greater caution.

‘You see the little webs, and you never know — is it from the fiber-optic drone? Or it’s a part of a booby trap’, Khyzhak, a Ukrainian special operator who for security reasons could only be identified by his call sign (“Predator” in Ukrainian), told Business Insider. Mines and traps have also been prominent threats in this war.”

New Republican Movement to Irish politicians: “We will not sit back any longer and watch our culture and religion destroyed by the people we put in power”

A group calling itself the New Republican Movement has emerged in Ireland, appearing in a video posted on social media on 28 November 2025, threatening elected representatives in the Newry, Mourne and Down area.

The video features three masked men, one of whom appears to hold a handgun, reading a statement that labels local politicians as “legitimate targets” due to their policies on immigration and alleged “sexual indoctrination” of children in schools.

The group says it is protecting Irish culture and religion from a migrant invasion and traitors in power.

Earlier today, Liz Churchill posted the video below on Twitter (now X) with the comment: “It was only a matter of time … The New Republican Movement of Ireland has put a target on anyone ruining the lives of the Irish and who compromise the safety of women and children.”

The statement in the video read:

To the people of Newry, Mourne and Down, we, the New Republican Movement, have watched their councillors, MLAs, over the past 12 months. The level of disrespect shown to the people who put you into power. This cannot be ignored any longer. We are proud men of Ireland. We are patriots. Your policies and decision-making regards to flooding our communities with undocumented, military-aged men is not acceptable.

We will not sit back any longer and watch our culture and religion destroyed by the people we put in power. Also, the sexual indoctrination of our children, schools, has not gone unnoticed either. The New Republican Movement will take immediate action against anyone who threatens our ways of life and the safety of our women and children.

We have your addresses, know your movements; every one of you are legitimate targets as of today. The New Republican Movement, 28/11/25.

UK soldiers executed toddlers in bed during Afghanistan war: Report

The former director of the British military’s special forces and other top UK army officials were involved in covering up war crimes, including the killing of children, carried out during the war on Afghanistan.

A senior officer who worked with the UK Special Air Service (SAS) was cited as saying in an independent judicial inquiry that the special forces unit “shot toddlers in their beds” in Afghanistan.

The inquiry was opened in 2023 and led by appeal court judge Charles Haddon-Cave. It has previously released findings on UK special forces’ involvement in 80 suspicious deaths in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013.

The special forces officer, identified in the inquiry as N1466, said, “We were there in Afghanistan to bring law and order and human security and justice. We failed.”

“It’s not loyalty to your organization to stand by and to watch it go down the sewer,” the officer added, warning of a “cancer” of illicit behavior within a specific SAS unit.

The officer went on to say that he was “deeply troubled” by the “unlawful killing of innocent people, including children, but also the absence of what I considered at the time should have been the response of all officers, including very senior officers in the chain of command, and I struggled to come to terms with what had happened.”

“When you look back on it, on those people who died unnecessarily … there were two toddlers shot in their bed next to their parents, you know, all that would not necessarily have come to pass if that had been stopped.”

The officer also says that extrajudicial killings were widespread and “known to many” within the special forces.

He added that he expressed his concerns to the director of special forces at the time, who took a deliberate decision to suppress the information.

Another anonymous officer also told the inquiry that the war crimes being revealed are “probably just the tip of the iceberg.”

“The government is fully committed to supporting the independent inquiry relating to Afghanistan as it continues its work, and we are hugely grateful to all former and current defense employees who have so far given evidence,” a UK Defense Ministry spokesperson said.

The ministry was initially reluctant to approve the investigation.

This is not the first time British troops have been implicated in indiscriminate attacks and extrajudicial killings during the Afghanistan war.

Five years ago, a whistleblower disclosed to a UK court that a British army unit in Afghanistan carried out a “deliberate policy” of killing unarmed Afghan men.

The US army has also been implicated in scores of similar incidents in both Afghanistan and Iraq, which the British army invaded as well, alongside Washington’s forces in 2003.
