The US has a long and gruesome history of slavery that has affected almost every part of its culture. Children in school learn the harsh circumstances that slaves were forced to live with and the incredible cruelty white slave owners showed them. American history teachers know how important it is to teach the horrors of slavery—not only so the mistakes of the past aren’t repeated but because the long-term oppression and cruelty toward black people extends even to modern times in important cultural issues such as police brutality and a cycle of poverty that is directly linked to racism caused by slavery.

What isn’t often taught is that there were many black people who not only participated in the slave trade but who often profited greatly from it. They owned slaves as property in order to enhance their own economical well-being by having free labor for their plantations. Many were biracial children of former white masters and were either freed or were left some property in a will. The American South is infamous for using slaves on their large plantations, and many of the black slave owners on this list are from South Carolina and Louisiana. Some were considered slave magnates (for owning more than 50 slaves), but others earned their place simply for their unique stories.

Gov’t helicopter discovers ‘unauthorized’ church service, pastor put in handcuffs

The moment that local governments in the Western world began to issue guidance or full-on mandates for religious gatherings in the early days of the pandemic, many were concerned that society had stepped onto a slippery slope.

Fast-forward 15 months later, and we’re seeing pastors arrested in front of their children after their “underground” church services were discovered by a police helicopter.

This is the stuff of tyranny and totalitarianism, not Western-style democracy. Yet here we are.

This week, Pastor Tim Stephens of Fairview Baptist Church was arrested outside his home as his distressed children cried, all for holding a church service discovered the day before by a police helicopter.

CDC senior scientist: ‘We trashed data showing vaccine-autism link in African-American boys’

I regret that my [CDC] coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the Journal of Pediatrics.

My primary job duties while working in the immunization safety branch from 2000 to 2006 were to lead or colead three major vaccine safety studies. The MADDSP MMR-Autism Cases 
Control Study was being carried out in response to the Wakefield Lancet study that suggested an association between the MMR vaccine and an autism-like health outcome.
There were several major concerns among scientists and consumer advocates outside the CDC in the fall of 2000 regarding the execution of the Verstraeten study.

One of the important goals that was determined upfront in the spring of 2001 before any of these studies started was to have all three protocols vetted outside the CDC prior to the start of the analyses so that consumer advocates could not claim that we were presenting analyses that suited our own goals and biases.
       
We hypothesized that if we found statistically significant effects at either 18- or 36-month thresholds, we would conclude that vaccinating children early with MMR vaccine could lead to autism-like characteristics or features.
       
We all met and finalized the study protocol and analysis plan. The goal was to not deviate from the analysis plan to avoid the debacle that occurred with the Verstraeten Thimerosal study published in Pediatrics in 2003.
       
At the September 5 meeting, we discussed in detail how to code race for both the sample and the birth certificate sample. At the bottom of table 7, it also shows that for the 
nonbirth certificate sample, the adjusted race effect statistical significance was huge.
       
All the authors and I met and decided sometime between August and September 2002 not to report any race effects for the paper. Sometime soon after the meeting, where we decided to exclude reporting any race effects, the coauthors scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study.

The remaining four coauthors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room and reviewed and went through all the hard copy documents that we had thought we should discard and put them in a huge garbage can.
       
However, because I assumed it was illegal and would violate both FOIA and DOJ requests, I kept hard copies of all documents in my office, and I retained all associated computer files.

Nearly 4,000 fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts have tested positive for coronavirus

Almost 4,000 people in Massachusetts who are fully vaccinated have tested positive for coronavirus, according to new data from the state Department of Public Health.

There have been 3,791 COVID cases out of more than 3.7 million fully vaccinated people as of June 12. That breaks down to 0.1% of vaccinated individuals testing positive for coronavirus in Massachusetts.

The state Department of Public Health did not say how many of the breakthrough infections have been severe, but public health experts tell the Herald that many of such cases are either asymptomatic or mild.

“We’re learning that many of the breakthrough infections are asymptomatic or they’re very mild and brief in duration,” said Boston University infectious diseases specialist Davidson Hamer. “The viral load is not very high.

“Breakthroughs are expected, and we need to better understand who’s at risk and whether people who have a breakthrough can transmit the virus to others,” he added. “In some cases, they’ll be shedding such low levels of the virus and won’t be transmitting to others.”

People who are immunocompromised are at a greater risk for breakthrough cases.

Texas Residents Had the Temperature Raised on Their Smart Thermostats Without Their Knowledge During a Heat Wave

Texas residents had the temperature in their homes raised on their web-connected smart thermostats without their permission during a heat wave.

Prior to their home temperatures being raised to 78 degrees, the state’s electricity operators had warned of another round of power shortages due to people running their air conditioners too much.

“The Big Brother temperature manipulation comes after the Texas energy grid failed this past winter when rolling blackouts left millions without power and 700 dead during February’s devastating winter storms,” the Daily Mail noted.

The report continues on to explain that “it turns out, people had handed over control of their thermostats – at least some people not realizing it – when they signed up for a sweepstakes called ‘Smart Savers Texas’ operated by a company called Energy Hub. The sweepstakes entered them into a contest to win free electricity for a year.”

Media, Left Rush To Claim Pride Parade Death As A Homophobic ‘Terrorist Attack.’ It Was An Accident By Another Participant.

A tragic accident at the Stonewall Pride Parade in Wilton Manors, Florida was turned into a political weapon by Democrats and their media supporters.

One man was killed while another was injured when the driver of a pickup truck accelerated and ran them over. Within moments of the tragedy and before any information was known, Democrats and the media began treating it as a deliberate attack on the LGBT community.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, a Democrat, was at the parade and claimed the truck narrowly missed Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) “by inches” and called the incident a “terrorist attack.

“This is a terrorist attack against the LGBT community,” Trantalis told WPLG. “This is exactly what it is. Hardly an accident. It was deliberate, it was premeditated, and it was targeted against a specific person. Luckily they missed that person, but unfortunately, they hit two other people.”

At the time Trantalis made the statement, there was no evidence to suggest his claims were in any way true.

Wasserman Schultz was reportedly in a convertible getting ready to appear in the parade. It is not clear at this time exactly how far from the incident she was at the time, as reports vary.

Trantalis’ claims have been echoed across social media and in other media reports, with many blaming a law signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, as the cause of the accident. That bill gives some legal protections to drivers who are sued after running into protesters when they felt they were threatened, but it does not, as many on the Left claimed Sunday morning, give people free rein to run down protesters, nor does give anyone the right to run over parade participants.

Yet still, more than 12 hours after the event, the Twitter hashtag #DeathSantis is still trending without any warning about misinformation, something the platform was quick to provide any time former President Donald Trump tweeted.

Of course, it was not a “premeditated” “terrorist attack,” but the result of a tragic accident. The man driving the truck was wearing a Fort Lauderdale Gay men’s Chorus t-shirt, and the chorus’ president, Justin Knight, said the driver was “part of the Chorus family.”

Illinois City Cancels 4th of July Parade Due To COVID, But Launches Juneteenth And LGBT Pride Events

The town of Evanston, Illinois, part of the Chicago metro area, has determined that there will be no physical July 4 celebration in 2021, however, a Juneteenth concert-style event and a LGBT pride “drive by parade” are offered by the city during the month of June.

On the Evanston4th.org website, the city notes that “Based on concern for public health due to the unpredictability of the pandemic’s impact, vaccination rates, and in cooperation with our local authorities, the Trustees of the Evanston Fourth of July Association voted to cancel the Fun Run, Parade, Palatine Concert Band performance and Lakefront Fireworks show on July 4, 2021.” Instead of a physical parade, the city is offering “a virtual celebration” that appears to be a series of videos played in rapid succession.

However, the new, left-wing sponsored version of Independence Day, known as Juneteenth, received a concert-style series of performance. According to the City of Evanston website, the event took place today – June 19 – in Ingraham Park, and featured “art, music, food and celebration” including three food trucks, two “muralists” and speakers or musical performances from a total of 9 individuals or groups. There is zero mention of COVID-19 or the pandemic on the web page.

Similarly, Evanston is set to offer a LGBT pride parade-style event, couched slightly due to the pandemic. Instead of a traditional LGBT pride parade, which often features facsimilies of sexual acts between same sex couples, often within direct view of young children, Evanston will instead have a sort of reverse-parade, in which residents decorate their homes or yards and vehicles drive by slowly to admire them. This event will be held on June 26 and will also feature “a community picnic and candle lighting and remembrance ceremony.”

Google & USAID Funded Wuhan Collaborator Peter Daszak’s Virus Experiments For Over A Decade.

The Google-backed EcoHealth Alliance played a critical role in the cover-up of COVID-19’s origins through its president, Peter Daszak.

Daszak served on the wildly compromised World Health Organization’s (WHO) COVID-19 investigation team. He championed the efforts to “debunk” the lab origin theory of the virus, despite mounting support for the claim first made by experts on Steve Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic podcast in early January 2020.

Left-wing websites masquerading as “fact checkers” still call the lab theory “false,” despite the shift in tone from the Biden regime, leading world scientists, and intelligence officials.

EcoHealth Alliance also funneled hundreds of thousands of U.S. taxpayer dollars from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) to its research partner, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, to conduct studies on “killer” bat coronaviruses.

And Google.org, the charity arm of the tech behemoth, has also been funding studies carried out by EcoHealth alliance researchers including Peter Daszak since at least 2010.
