Radical trans activist is quietly removed from new WHO transgender health panel – after calling for children to be rushed onto puberty blockers

The World Health Organization has quietly axed a trans activist with extreme views on medicating children from its transgender health policy panel.

DailyMail.com reported last week that Florence Ashley was among the WHO’s 21-person committee tasked with setting international treatment guidelines for treating gender dysphoria.

Following the selection, it emerged the Canadian – who has no medical background – had published several papers calling for trans children to be given puberty blockers without mental health evaluations.

The committee members were announced on January 3, but a revision to the list published Monday no longer listed Ashley as a panelist.

The WHO said the exclusion was due to ‘a conflict in schedules’. Despite announcing just a few weeks ago that Ashely would be included on the panel, the latest version of the biographies list said Ashely ‘notified WHO in 2023 that they would be unable to participate’.

Ashley – whose pronouns are they/them/that b***h – is a Canadian law professor WHERE? WHAT UNI? who specializes in transgender rights.

They have co-written a study that said puberty blockers and hormone therapies ‘ought to be treated as the default option’ for children with gender dysphoria.

They have also said that social transition, such as calling a child by their preferred pronouns, and puberty blockers ‘should be made readily available to all those who wish for them. Together we must recognise that exploration is best fostered not by delaying transition, but through transition.’

They have a significant TikTok following where they express hardline views on trans issues, calling for mental health checks on trans children to be scrapped before they are given puberty blockers and hormone drugs.

Ashley said on TikTok recently when discussing an academic paper they co-authored on the subject: ‘Is there any reason to ask people to go through a lengthy and complex gender assessment in order to access gender-affirming care, or is that useless and should the time best be put in supporting decision-making.

‘And what our article concludes is that there’s really no evidence that gender assessments work… it’s just a lengthier process for no real reason.’

They added: ‘Gender assessments are really an unnecessary form of gatekeeping that trans communities have been opposing for a while.’

Canadian government lobbies WHO to include climate change in the definition of a pandemic emergency

On Monday, Conservative Member of the Canadian Parliament Leslyn Lewis posted on Twitter a portion of a response to an Access to Information Request from the Canadian government about their input submitted to the World Health Organisation.

“As countries prepare to finalise the WHO Global Pandemic Accord in May, the Liberals have been lobbying the WHO to include climate change in the definition of a pandemic emergency,” she said.

The government responded to Lewis, indicating that “the new instrument should be inclusive and defined by an all-hazards approach in alignment with the [International Health Regulations].”

The response continues: “There are other global health threats that are currently building and/or could result in a global health emergency (e.g., climate change impacts) … which may be scoped out of an instrument with too narrow a focus.”

In other words, the Canadian government admitted it supports broadening the scope of WHO’s Pandemic Accord, or Pandemic Treaty, so WHO directs countries not just on infectious disease outbreaks but also on “health impacts” from climate change.

On 23 October 2023, in response to a written question from Ms. Lewis, Mark Holland, the Minister of Health, on behalf of Trudeau’s Liberal government confirmed the Government’s stance.  He stated that “other global health threats, such as climate change, can impact pandemics, and we incorporate these broader considerations in our domestic pandemic, planning, preparedness, and response activities.”

At the same time, Holland confirmed that, currently, “Climate change and other global health threats are not within the scope of the Pandemic Instrument.” But he did not admit that the Government was lobbying WHO to include it.

Justin Trudeau was elected Leader of the Liberal Party in April 2013. On October 19, 2015, he led his party to victory, winning a majority government. On October 21, 2019, he led the Liberal Party to re-election, earning a second mandate. On September 20, 2021, Justin once again led the party to re-election, earning a third mandate to govern from Canadians.  A Canadian intelligence report released in February 2023 suggests Beijing meddled in the 2019 and 2021 election campaigns, a continuation of a problem that was flagged 37 years ago.

At a “ladies’ night” fundraiser in Toronto in 2013, the then-hopeful politician Trudeau made his allegiances known.  He told the audience: “There is a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say we need to go green, we need to start, you know, investing in solar.”

Controversial research group linked to Wuhan discovers never-before-seen virus in bats in Thailand with ‘almost’ as much potential as Covid to infect humans

A zoologist whose organisation funded controversial experiments in Wuhan which some fear started the pandemic has presented the discovery of a never-before-seen virus with ‘almost’ as much potential to infect humans as Covid.

Dr Peter Daszak, head of the New York based non-profit EcoHealth Alliance, detailed his finding in bats at an event held by the World Health Organization (WHO) on future pandemic research preparedness.

EcoHealth had its funding pulled and projects to find viruses in China cancelled due to concerns about its ties to the Covid lab leak theory — but it has continued to operate in Thailand and other parts of Asia with millions of dollars in US government grants.

Dr Daszak told attendees at the WHO conference about his team’s ongoing efforts to comb Southeast Asia for threatening animal viruses.

Some scientists consider these virus-hunting experiments at risk of causing a future pandemic.

REVEALED: HALF of the WHO’s transgender health committee members have NO medical background and the majority are activists

Half of the members on the World Health Organization‘s transgender health policy committee are not qualified medical experts – and most are gender activists.

One of the panelists is a controversial Canadian trans TikToker who believes puberty blockers should be prescribed to all children, regardless of their gender identity, so they can ‘choose’ their gender rather than being assigned one by society.

Another member, meanwhile, believes that transitioning causes no health problems and claims the only ‘actual side effects’ of getting a sex change are a ‘significantly improved quality of life… and trans joy.’

A number of women’s rights and LGBTQ+ organizations fear the UN agency – whose recommendations are highly influential – has been captured by a ‘trans bias’.

The UN health agency last month published biographies of 21 experts who have been invited to help formulate guidelines that will shape how countries treat gender dysphoria.

Of the a 21-member panel, 11 have no formal medical training and seven are trans themselves. Ten have a medical background and of those, eight are doctors.

The rest are a mixture of activists, social justice advocates, human rights lawyers, STD researchers, and policy advisors.

The health researchers who qualified to join the panel have training in the control and prevention of HIV/AIDS with little emphasis on the parameters of delivering transition services known as gender-affirming care.

World Health Organization appoints trans activist with ‘Be Gay, Do Crimes’ tattoo to create guidelines on child sex changes

The World Health Organization has just appointed a Canadian, trans, criminal law professor and author of “Gender/Fucking: The Pleasures and Politics of Living in a Gendered Body” to the group developing guidelines on “the health of trans and gender diverse people,” Florence Ashley. Ashley’s pronouns are “they, them, that, bitch.”

Of the 21 members of the new group, at least half are trans. Others are affiliated with WPATH, and still others have “pioneered” medical sex changes, womb transplants, or child sex changes. The group includes two former presidents of WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, which in their latest guidelines stated there should be no age-limit on sex changes for minors

Ashley, a criminal law assistant professor at the University of Alberta is on board with that, believing that “puberty blockers ought to be treated as the default option” for all minors, regardless of gender identity, so that kids can “choose” their gender instead of growing up naturally and without intervention because natural development “strongly favours cis embodiement by raising the psychological and medical toll of transitioning.”

WHO Calls for Punitive Booze and Soda Taxes on the Anniversary of Prohibition Repeal

How do you mark the anniversary of Prohibition’s repeal? At Reason we celebrate the hard-won victory of (relative) sanity that led to the passage of the 21st Amendment repealing the 18th Amendment and clearing the way for Americans to again (legally) consume alcoholic beverages. We also point to lessons that can be learned from failed efforts to use the force of law to prevent people from making their own choices.

But if you’re an international nanny-stater, you use the day to call for restrictions on popular beverages.

“WHO calls on countries to increase taxes on alcohol and sugary sweetened beverages,” the World Health Organization headlined a December 5 press release, precisely 90 years after the ratification of the 21st Amendment. “The World Health Organization (WHO) is releasing today new data that show a low global rate of taxes being applied to unhealthy products such as alcohol and sugary sweetened beverages (SSBs). The findings highlight that the majority of countries are not using taxes to incentivize healthier behaviours.”

Admittedly, WHO is a meddlesome world organization, so one can’t expect it to always be aware of important political dates in any one country. Still, the irony is rich enough to make you reach for something sweet and buzz-inducing. Why not double down on control-freakery on a day when Americans with a modicum of historical awareness reflect on the defeat of such efforts?

That said, WHO didn’t call for outright bans on sweet and boozy drinks. The idea is to hike prices through the tax system so that people—presumably those with less money—can’t afford them and therefore become slimmer and more sober.

“Taxes that increase alcohol prices by 50% would help avert over 21 million deaths over 50 years and generate nearly US$17 trillion in additional revenues,” insists WHO.

WHO also points to polling data showing that majorities in multiple countries support sin taxes on alcohol, sugary drinks, and tobacco. Presumably, those surveyed could purchase fewer such products of their own accord but want pressure applied from above on those who might choose differently.

But what people support in the abstract isn’t the same thing as what they actually do when living under real-life policies. Laws and unintended consequences have a funny way of colliding again and again.

A Threat To Humanity: WHO, Gates, and Big Pharma Make Pandemic Treaty

Intended to form part of international law, preparations for the creation of a World Health Organisation (“WHO”) Pandemic Treaty or Pandemic Accord began in 2001.

Far from strengthening the prevention of, preparedness for, and response to future pandemics as the latest draft of the text claims, its implementation could severely undermine democracy by limiting the ability of national parliaments to make crucial healthcare decisions in the best interests of their citizens.

Aided by proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations of 2005, the Treaty threatens to transform the WHO into a global health dictatorship.

Al-Shifa Hospital was Turned into a ‘Death Zone’ – WHO

The team, consisting of public health experts, logistics officers, and security staff from various UN agencies, described the hospital as a “death zone” and the overall situation as “desperate.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) has described the situation at the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City as a “death zone”, a day after the forced evacuation ordered by the Israeli army, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

On Saturday morning, the invading Israeli military forced most of the patients, wounded, and medical staff out of the medical complex, demanding they walk on foot to the south of the Gaza Strip.

A joint United Nations humanitarian assessment team, led by WHO, accessed Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza on Saturday to evaluate the dire situation within the facility.

WHO Director General Complains About Online “Conspiracy Theories” About WHO Pandemic Treaty

Given the fervor of Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’ crusade against “disinformation,” if one didn’t know any better, one could hardly guess that he is at the helm of UN’s health agency, the World Health Organization (WHO), rather than some “ministry of truth.”

Then again, given his own, and WHO’s role in the disastrously mishandled pandemic – when those who were to blame at national and international level discovered “misinformation” as a way to discredit any criticism – this is not so surprising.

Now Tedros writes, “We find ourselves in a time where fake news, lies, conspiracy theories, misinformation and disinformation are rampant.” The reason this time is the UN’s push to get countries around the world to agree to “the pandemic accord.”

The document is designed to put in place the tools to handle “the next pandemic,” but is far from limited to health issues.

Opponents have been warning that the accord also aims to introduce surveillance tools, effectively facilitate censorship, and undermine a country’s sovereignty in the decision-making processes during a health crisis by transferring a number of powers to the UN.

This last serious concern seems to rub Tedros particularly the wrong way.

Global Network Promotes ‘Sexual Rights’ for Children

A trifecta of powerful globalist organizations is rigorously executing a plan to teach kindergarteners about sexuality and “empower” children to say yes to sexual encounters, according to agency documents reviewed by The Epoch Times.

Critics say this amounts to children being “groomed” for sex under the banner of human rights and education, while pedophilia is promoted and parental rights are undermined. Experts told The Epoch Times that the push for these programs to be accepted in nations around the world could lead to the practice of having sex with “consenting” children being viewed as acceptable.

Proponents of the programs say they seek to ensure that children’s “rights” to sexual pleasure are protected.

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the United Nations are advancing children’s exposure to sexuality on two fronts, according to documents.

On one front, the organizations are promoting comprehensive sexuality education that emphasizes teaching consent for sex. On another front, the groups are pushing to remold the portrayal of children and young people as “sexual beings” with sexual rights that should be based on maturity instead of age.

The version of childhood sexual education promoted by the groups includes what most parents would recognize as sex education. The coursework includes explanations of reproductive biology and discussions of how abstinence can prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

But the curriculum also introduces the idea that minors have “rights” to make decisions concerning their own bodies and to experience “desire, pleasure, and happiness,” without parental involvement, while exploring homosexuality and role-playing.

Proponents such as the WHO say evidence shows that young people are more likely to initiate sexual activity later—and to practice safer sex—when they are better informed about sexuality, sexual relations, and their rights through programs like childhood sexual education.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has praised childhood sexual education for giving children and youth access to developmentally appropriate education that increases the rates of contraception and condom use. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Committee on Adolescent Health Care has cited studies demonstrating that childhood sexual education reduces the rates of sexual activity, unprotected sex, STDs, and teen pregnancy.
