San Antonio Leftists ‘Turn May Day Strong’ into Protest Against Practically Everything

A small crowd of leftists gathered in downtown San Antonio on Friday afternoon for a May-Day-Strong demonstration in support of International Workers’ Day. The event quickly pivoted into a protest against a wide range of Trump administration policies as demonstrators chanted slogans and carried signs opposing billionaires, a planned ICE facility, the perceived U.S. embargo on Cuba, ICE agents, the war in Iran, U.S. military action in Venezuela, and in support of queer rights.

Breitbart Texas observed protesters as they shouted chants led by members of the San Antonio Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). Before the group marched through the tourist-lined streets just blocks from the historic Alamo, several local union leaders gave speeches on income inequality to a crowd of nearly 200 attendees.

The protest was attended by members of the local PSL, the Chicano Paramilitary Brown Berets, and members of several labor unions, including the Texas State Employees Union and the Communications Workers of America local 6186. Some protesters sported Palestinian Keffiyeh scarves and waved Palestinian flags, while other attendees with the Brown Berets held flags featuring the image of Argentine Marxist Che Guevara as they listened to the speakers.

Friday’s protest was part of a nationwide May Day Strong campaign focused on workers’ rights. The organizers of the events asked supporters to stage walkouts and engage in economic boycotts to demonstrate the power of organized labor. The protesters quickly pivoted from labor-related causes to a host of other left-leaning causes.

Communist and socialist groups call for ‘revolution’ and seizure of property at Minneapolis May Day rally

Communist and socialist groups called for a “revolution” at a May Day rally in Minneapolis Friday, highlighting the growing influence of far-left organizations at an event traditionally centered on workers’ rights.

Some of those demonstrators denounced capitalism and pushed for the seizure of private property and the means of production, marking a shift in tone from past May Day rallies that primarily focused on labor issues.

Protesters on the ground outlined a range of demands, including rent caps tied to income, a reduced work week and the redistribution of wealth from billionaires. The rally, which drew well over 1,000 people, was organized as an immigrant rights demonstration but brought together a broad mix of labor unions, activist organizations and far-left political groups marching side by side.

Among the groups present were the Communist Party USA, the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), the Revolutionary Communists of America (RCA), the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), with numerous participants carrying flags and signage featuring socialist imagery like the hammer and sickle.

Chicago Schools to Bus Students to Anti-Trump May Day Protests Using Tax Dollars

Tomorrow on May 1st, teacher unions in Chicago have decided to once again hold ‘May Day’ protests, which will obviously be aimed at Trump and all things Republican.

As part of these protests, Chicago Schools are going to allow students to attend, and if they choose to go, they can be shuttled to the protests using tax dollars.

Aside from the fact that a significant number of students in Chicago schools can’t read at grade level, how is any of this even legal?

Using tax dollars to transport students to political protests? Where is the outrage?

Chicago labor unions, community groups, students and other advocates are expected to participate in events around the city on Friday in recognition of May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day.

Thousands of Chicagoans are expected to participate in a May Day rally and march starting at Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St., and ending at Daley Plaza downtown. Other related actions are scheduled in different parts of the city in the morning ahead of the march.

The main rally is expected to begin at 1 p.m. in Union Park. The march is set to step off at 2 p.m.

The expected May Day actions come after disagreements between Chicago Public Schools CEO Macquline King and the Chicago Teachers Union over whether to close schools on Friday to allow students and teachers to participate in demonstrations…

Chicago Public Schools will still hold classes on May 1 after reaching an agreement with CTU that will also allow students and staff to attend labor rallies.

The union said the school district has pledged to provide buses for field trips for students and educators who choose to attend the afternoon May Day rally in Union Park.

Israel Attacks Gaza Flotilla Near Greek Waters

On Wednesday evening Israeli naval forces attacked the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) to Gaza. 

An unknown number of Israeli military ships went over 700 miles to attack the 54-ship flotilla that was headed for Gaza.

It was attempting to break the illegal Israeli naval blockade and to bring worldwide attention to the continuing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza; the Israeli ethnic cleansing of the West Bank; the destruction and occupation of southern Lebanon and the attacks on Iran.

Twenty-one boats were attacked by Israeli naval forces about 80 nautical miles west of the Greek island of Crete in international waters. 

One hundred seventy nine participants from 33 countries were taken against their will from boats that were damaged by Israeli naval forces and put onto a commercial cargo ship that may arrive at the Israeli port of Ashdod around Saturday.

We anticipate that they will be processed at a dock facility in Ashdod, then transported to an Israeli prison and in three-to-five days be deported from the country with a 10-100 year ban on returning to Israel.

That means that one cannot get to the West Bank for actions in solidarity with Palestinians who are under attack by Zionist Israeli settlers who steal Palestinian land and animals and burn Palestinian houses and cars. 

Fifteen U.S. citizens were among the 179 that were kidnapped by Israeli forces.

Anti-ICE Group Received Millions From Taxpayers In A Year — Here’s What We Got In Return

A pro-illegal immigrant group received more than $8.7 million from taxpayers in the year that it helped spark destructive protests, but despite outcry and probes from Washington, it faces no consequences.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) reported the government grants in its latest tax filing covering July 2024 through June 2025, the month that Los Angeles, California, was set ablaze by anti-deportation rioters. The chaos kicked off in June 2025 after CHIRLA created an anti-ICE network that led to a union leader’s arrest and encouraged supporters to arrive at a federal building for a rally that turned violent, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported. CHIRLA defended the mob as rioting against deportations spread across central California for days and caused damages somewhere between $32 million and $1 billion, according to local and federal agencies.

House and Senate lawmakers responded by announcing investigations into CHIRLA that have produced no findings or legislative reforms as leftists use the tax-exempt nonprofit system to fund radical causes. The House Judiciary Committee and Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri sent CHIRLA letters in June demanding records of its finances and internal communications.

There have been no reports of CHIRLA handing over the information, and lawmakers have announced no further action. The House Judiciary Committee did not threaten a subpoena if CHIRLA ignored its requests, while Hawley threatened “potential referral for criminal investigation.” The IRS and First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli did not respond to the requests for comment about a probe they announced last year into the anti-ICE riots, while the FBI’s Los Angeles office declined to comment.

CHIRLA’s $8,726,683 from taxpayers in fiscal year 2024 made up 35% of its total revenue, according to its records. CHIRLA has received more than $80.6 million in government grants since former President Joe Biden took office and opened the U.S. border to historic illegal immigration, tax filings show.

Wisconsin School District Cancels All Classes on May 1 So Teachers Can Join Anti-ICE ‘Day Without Immigrants’ Protests

The Madison Metropolitan School District in Wisconsin has officially canceled school for all students on Friday, May 1, due to a large number of teachers planning to participate in anti-ICE protests.

In a message sent to parents and posted on the district’s website, officials announced the closure due to expected low staff turnout for the “A Day without Immigrants” event, which is part of the far-left “May Day Strong” National Day of Action.

A whopping 70 percent of the district’s staff signed on to support canceling school for the protest.

The full announcement from the Madison Metropolitan School District website read as follows:

No school Friday, May 1

Our Madison Teachers Inc. (MTI) partners recently shared that they received 70% of staff signatures supporting participation in “A Day without Immigrants” as part of the May Day Strong national day of action.

After a conversation with MTI, we understand that we may experience low staff turnout and believe this will directly affect the safety of our community due to insufficient supervision and educational support for our students.

Once we were made aware of the anticipated staff absences, we reviewed options and scenarios to best support students and families. After thoughtful discussion and collaboration, it has been determined that:

  • School will be cancelled for all students on Friday, May 1.
  • There will be no after-school care.

However, all other activities, including events and athletics, will continue as scheduled.

WHCD Shooter’s BlueSky Account Reveals Violent ‘No Kings’ Protester’s Obsessive Anti-Trump Rants, Violent GIFs, JD Vance Attacks, and Pro-Ukraine Obsession

The 31-year-old California man arrested after opening fire while charging a Secret Service checkpoint at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) Dinner on Saturday had a public Bluesky account filled with aggressively anti-Trump rhetoric, criticism of Vice President JD Vance, strong support for Ukraine, and imagery implying violence.

Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, faces federal charges after the attempted assassination at the Washington Hilton, where President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and other administration officials were in attendance.

In a manifesto sent to relatives, and since made public, Allen admitted to targeting Trump administration officials, and left writings in his hotel room describing Trump as a “pedophile, rapist, and traitor.”

Allen had checked into the Hilton the day before the event, having traveled by train from Los Angeles.

It has now been revealed that Allen was active on Bluesky under the handle “coldForce,” with eye emojis replacing the “o”s.

NYC councilman and Mamdani ally Chi Ossé arrested during eviction protest, video shows

A video captured New York City Council Member Chi Ossé being thrown to the ground and arrested in Brooklyn while protesting a woman’s eviction. 

Ossé, a Democratic socialist and ally of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, reportedly was defending a constituent facing eviction after six decades in her home. The office of the 28-year-old said in a statement that “Black displacement is happening right now in Bed-Stuy” and his constituent “is one of many Black homeowners battling deed theft in Brooklyn.” 

“Motherf—–, that’s a councilman, what the f— are you doing?” a man was heard yelling in chaotic footage showing Ossé being taken into custody Wednesday. 

A New York City Police Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Thursday that Ossé was one of four people arrested and charged with obstruction of governmental administration and disorderly conduct.

“I will absolutely be filing a misconduct report against the officers who slammed me on the ground. I urge the other folks who were taken into captivity to do the same. I know there are two individuals who were doing the same thing that I was doing, who have reported that they are dealing with a concussion right now,” Ossé said following his arrest. 

“I would hope to see that they are held accountable. I hope the police commissioner is taking a deep look on their past, on their histories, and I hope they take our complaints seriously,” he added. 

The New York City Department of Finance describes deed theft as occurring “when criminals record fraudulent deeds, mortgages or other liens against a property without the owner’s knowledge or consent.

“Anyone can be a victim of deed fraud, but seniors, immigrants, and people of color are most at risk,” it added.

Where did the left’s anti-Trump protest army go?

The New York Times decided to ask the million-dollar question that’s really bothering the left: if Trump’s supposedly so dangerous, such a Nazi, and such a threat to precious democracy, then where are all the young protesters? Where’s the big student revolt? Where’s the powerful, neverending “resist” energy?

And while they were trying to answer this big question, they ended up admitting something much bigger. What they actually ended up describing was a total collapse inside the youth culture the left worked so hard to build… a culture of doom scrolling, government dependency, social fragility, and complete helplessness. The NYT wanted to write a piece mourning the absence of anti-Trump activism. But what they actually did was accidentally confess about checked-out young people when it comes to anti-Trump angst.

Right out of the gate, the NYT admits the core problem. The country is supposedly ripe for anti-Trump activism, and yet the youth uprising the left keeps waiting for is nowhere to be found.

New York Times:

Today, the United States would appear ripe for a resurgence of student activism, beyond the flourishing of pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campus in 2023 and 2024 in particular.

We have a president who has directly attacked the finances and the intellectual freedom of colleges and universities, is building the technology for a surveillance state, undermines free and fair elections and took the nation into an unjustified war with no explanation while causing domestic economic havoc.

But one ingredient is missing: a substantial anti-Trump youth movement.

Even after piling on every standard anti-Trump talking point they could think of, the NYT still has to admit the movement isn’t showing up. Clearly, that shows the problem isn’t a lack of messaging. It’s the people they expected to flood the streets who have been shaped into an army of lazy, uninspired layabouts.

And here’s where the panic shows up.

NYT:

Dana Fisher, a professor in the School of International Service at American University, tracks the demographics of participants in major anti-Trump demonstrations. In a phone interview, I asked what she had found about the mobilization of students and younger men and women.

She replied, “We’re not seeing them in the streets at No Kings events.”

She provided the following data about the three No Kings protests: “At No Kings 1 (June 14, 2025) the median age was 36, at No Kings 2 (Oct. 18, 2025) the median age was 44, and at No Kings 3 (March 28, 2026) it was 48. Clearly, it’s getting older.”

The participants in the initial No Kings Day demonstrations, Fisher wrote, were “predominantly white, highly educated, female and middle-aged.”

Yikes, that’s brutal. That is brutal, and it probably says more than the NYT wanted to. Basically, the big anti-Trump resistance is aging out. The elites who spent years insisting the kids were the future now have to face the fact that young people have checked out of politics.

Leftists Mobs Violently Attacked a TPUSA Journalist. Will They Face Justice?

Savannah Hernandez, a TPUSA contributor and independent journalist, was covering a Left-wing protest in Minneapolis when she was assaulted by a mob that identified as Antifa.

One of the men who attacked Hernandez was identified by Alpha News and Crime Watch Minneapolis as Chris Ostroushko. He was seen on video shoving Hernandez to the ground.

Here’s more:

“Apparently Chris Ostroushko is also a Minneapolis FRAUDSTER and was convicted of defrauding the state unemployment program back in the early 2000s,” Hernandez wrote in an X post reacting to CrimeWatchMpls’ post of a screenshot of the complaint.

Hernandez posted a video of the incident to X on Sunday, which has received nearly 4 million views and 114,000 likes as of Monday afternoon. The clip shows the journalist, holding a camera and arguing with the demonstrators, before Ostroushko can be seen shoving her and shouting an expletive.

A man then shouts at Ostroushko and the crowd of protesters he is with to “back the f*** up,” adding, “it’s over.” However, Ostroushko continues to walk forward, shouting and pointing, prompting multiple people to restrain him.

“I’m waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday,” Hernandez wrote in the viral post. “A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me.”
