Veterans Affairs Kept COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate In Place Without Evidence

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) reviewed no data when deciding in 2023 to keep its COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place.

VA Secretary Denis McDonough said on May 1, 2023, that the end of many other federal mandates “will not impact current policies at the Department of Veterans Affairs.”

He said the mandate was remaining for VA health care personnel “to ensure the safety of veterans and our colleagues.”

Mr. McDonough did not cite any studies or other data. A VA spokesperson declined to provide any data that was reviewed when deciding not to rescind the mandate. The Epoch Times submitted a Freedom of Information Act for “all documents outlining which data was relied upon when establishing the mandate when deciding to keep the mandate in place.”

The agency searched for such data and did not find any.

“The VA does not even attempt to justify its policies with science, because it can’t,” Leslie Manookian, president and founder of the Health Freedom Defense Fund, told The Epoch Times.

“The VA just trusts that the process and cost of challenging its unfounded policies is so onerous, most people are dissuaded from even trying,” she added.

The VA’s mandate remains in place to this day.

COVID Showed Us Who Really Rules America

This month marks the fourth anniversary of one of the most disastrous assaults on human rights in American history. It was on March 16, 2020 that the President Trump issued “guidelines” for “15 days to slow the spread” which stated that “Governors of states with evidence of community transmission should close schools in affected and surrounding areas.”

The administration instructed all members of the public to “listen to and follow the directions of your state and local authorities.”

It was at this time that an American president, for the first time in American history, introduced the idea that it was possible—and perfectly legal—for government institutions to “close down” the economy by forcibly shutting, en masse, countless businesses, schools, and churches. Trump stated repeatedly in press conferences that it was up to government officials to decide “if we open up.” It quickly became standard procedure for health bureaucrats, governors, and media figures to casually speak of “closing the economy” or “opening up” as if we were talking about a coffee shop deciding on closing time.

Meanwhile, across the country, local law enforcement officers willingly worked to arrest or harass business owners, worshipers at church, soccer moms at the park, and anyone else with the temerity to venture outdoors for activities not approved by the ruling class. 

The small minority of Americans that remained committed to human rights and private property soon discovered how powerless they really are. Many dissenters were dismayed by a lack of action from the courts, and how elected officials were apparently unwilling or unable to rein in the vast new powers of “health” officials. Was there nothing that could limit the state’s power? This was confusing for many people because many have been (and remain) enamored of the idea that written constitutions limit state power when it matters most. 

Many dissenters learned a valuable lesson from the experience, however: during the Covid Panic of 2020 and 2021, it became abundantly clear how little constitutional government and the so-called “rule of law” actually limit a regime’s power in times of perceived emergency. It is during emergencies, in fact, when we learn who really holds political power, and how ineffective are constitutional measures designed to limit it.

‘Stunning Act of Scientific Censorship’: Journal Retracts Peer-Reviewed Study Critiquing COVID-19 Vaccine

The journal Cureus on Monday retracted the first peer-reviewed paper to provide an extensive analysis of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine trial data and post-injection injuries. The authors of the paper also called for a global moratorium on the vaccines.

Dr. Peter McCullough, one of the paper’s authors, called the retraction “a stunning act of scientific censorship.” He told The Defender:

“The journal and its editors had the right to reject the paper at any time during the review process. Once published, it is a violation of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines to retract a paper without adequate justification.”

The paper, published last month, detailed the vaccines’ potential serious harms to humans, vaccine control and processing issues, the mechanisms behind adverse events, the immunological reasons for vaccine inefficacy and the mortality data from the registrational trials.

The authors concluded:

“Federal agency approval of the COVID-19 mRNA injectable products on a blanket-coverage population-wide basis had no support from an honest assessment of all relevant registrational data and commensurate consideration of risks versus benefits.”

They also called for the vaccines to be immediately removed from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) childhood immunization schedule and for the boosters to be suspended.

The paper was read more than 350,000 times in the month after it was posted. An average Cureus paper has only approximately 2,700 views in an entire year.

Iraq War veteran in his late 30s claims COVID vaccine gave him condition that causes full body paralysis, with medical records updated to say vaccine injury is cause after doctors tried to blame it on flu

An Iraq War veteran has claimed the Covid-19 vaccine made him develop Guillain-Barre Syndrome causing full body paralysis and leaving him with nerve damage.

Drew – who prefers not to share his last name – says he was an ‘otherwise healthy 36-year-old’ before he received the mRNA Pfizer vaccine in April 2021. 

After two doses, he says he started experiencing ‘cold/flu symptoms’ which ‘turned to numbness, tingling’ and then to ‘complete paralysis within weeks’.

He says he was hospitalized and diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, a very rare progressive nerve disorder that can cause total body paralysis in serious cases. Most people make a full recovery.

He says doctors did not link his illness to the vaccine at first, but claims his medical records have now been updated to show he had a ‘vaccine injury.’ DailyMail.com has requested to see a copy of said records. 

Now back at home, Drew says he is raising awareness of vaccine side effects and says he ‘still can’t walk without assistance’. 

Drew signed up for the army straight after high school and shortly after was deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

On a fundraising page for his medical bills, it says: ‘After a four year break in service he wanted to continue to serve his country and community in the MN, enlisting in the National Guard. 

‘Then in 2018, he was deployed again, this time to Kuwait/Middle East.’

After that he retired from the army and took a job in sales just in time for the birth of his son. 

Then he says he got a call from Veterans Affairs encouraging him to get the vaccine and telling him ‘it would prevent illness and prevent transmission to elderly mother.’

He told Alpha News: ‘It was done in the atrium … they had some cubicles, and I just went in, sat down and got it. There wasn’t a lot of information. They weren’t really telling me anything. 

‘It was just kind of like the basic training assembly line for vaccines on deployment.’

He said he had flu-like symptoms for a few days which then turned to ‘numbness, tingling, my hands, my feet, my toes’.

A Host Of Notable COVID-19 Vaccine Adverse Events, Backed By Evidence

Since the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, a significant number of vaccinated people have reported various adverse reactions.

Some adverse events are widely acknowledged, like blood clots and myocarditis. Others are less publicly discussed but are still present in the research literature.

The Epoch Times reviewed the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), the United Kingdom’s Yellow Card Reporting system, South Africa’s VAERS database, and numerous peer-reviewed studies, selecting the top reported adverse events with literature support. Their severity determines the order of the events.

It is worth noting that VAERS is a passive reporting system that relies on people to send in reports of their experiences. It may not determine causality but “is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns” that might indicate a possible vaccine safety signal, according to the official website.

Doctors Confirm Vaccine Connection after Young Ontario Woman Paralyzed after Moderna Shot – Then Offer Her Euthanasia as Remedy

A young mother’s life has been turned upside down in the wake of receiving her Moderna COVID-19 booster shot, which has left her paralyzed from the neck down, The Canadian Independent reported.

Kayla Pollock, a 37-year-old from Mount Albert, Ontario, has had her vibrant life of motherhood and community involvement brought to a sudden halt due to what doctors have diagnosed as a severe vaccine-related reaction.

Kayla, who suffered an abusive childhood, had overcome her past to find joy in her work as a behavioral trainer for exotic animals and later as an educational assistant. The single mother, known for her active lifestyle, was compelled to get vaccinated to ensure she could continue visiting her father in his long-term care facility.

However, after receiving her booster shot on January 11, 2022, Kayla began experiencing alarming symptoms, culminating in her complete paralysis less than two weeks later. Despite initial skepticism from emergency department staff, an MRI revealed a significant lesion on her spinal cord.

A neurologist, documented on an audio recording, expressed his belief that the vaccine was the likely cause of Kayla’s condition, a view later confirmed with a diagnosis of transverse myelitis – a rare inflammatory disorder caused by damage to the spinal cord.

The once active mother has since spent several months in hospital and rehabilitation centers, even being offered MAID – Medical Assistance in Dying – which she refused.

Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) in Canada is a legal and voluntary form of euthanasia, allowing eligible adults to request assistance from a medical practitioner to end their lives.

Vaccinated are susceptible to viral infections and “covid vaccine heart syndrome”

A recent paper examined the mechanisms that cause “covid vaccine heart syndrome.”

It raised the possibility of many mechanisms explaining the broad array of cardiac complications and the varying times from injection to presentation.  While they consider several causative factors, the researchers also speculate the known cardiotoxicity of adjuvants is involved.

Dr. Kevin Stillwagon points out what the researchers failed to mention; adjuvants focus white blood cells, known as T-cells, on what was injected and miss other things which allow them to get through the epithelial barrier.

Epithelial barriers – such as such as the skin, the gastrointestinal mucosal membrane and tissue lining the respiratory tract – are an important line of our bodies’ defence preventing the invasion of microorganisms and their products. Epithelial barriers are essential in protecting the body from the environment, covering internal cells, secretion and excretion, absorption and filtration.

Focusing T-cells to detect constituents of injections while ignoring everything else, means that infections will continue to occur as SARS-CoV-2 naturally mutates and viruses associated with other communicable diseases will get through our bodies’ natural barriers as well.

The 2024 Santa Monica Film Festival was chock full of red-pilled conspiracy content

The 18th annual Santa Monica Film Festival, which held in-person screenings on Saturday, February 3 and which is running online screenings through February 28, chose to feature and then give awards to some dangerous right-wing conspiracy theories masquerading as “documentary” films.

The festival awarded “Best Documentary Feature” to The Great Awakening, the third film in anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist Mikki Willis’ Plandemic series. The Santa Monica Film Festival website describes the film:

The first installment of Plandemic was released May 4, 2000, and was largely responsible for the viral spread of COVID-19 conspiracy theories and vaccine disinformation. The New York Times explained in 2020 that nothing in the pandemic had gone as viral as the 26-minute short film, “a slickly produced narration that wrongly claimed a shadowy cabal of elites was using the virus and a potential vaccine to profit and gain power. The video featured a discredited scientist, Judy Mikovits, who said her research about the harm from vaccines had been buried.”

COVID-19 Tested Our Commitment To Freedom. Three Years Later, We’re Still Failing

The government never cedes power willingly.

Neither should we.

If the COVID-19 debacle taught us one thing it is that, as Justice Neil Gorsuch acknowledged, “Rule by indefinite emergency edict risks leaving all of us with a shell of a democracy and civil liberties just as hollow.”

Unfortunately, we still haven’t learned.

We’re still allowing ourselves to be fully distracted by circus politics and a constant barrage of bad news screaming for attention.

Three years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which gave world governments (including our own) a convenient excuse for expanding their powers, abusing their authority, and further oppressing their constituents, there’s something being concocted in the dens of power.

The danger of martial law persists.

Any government so willing to weaponize one national crisis after another in order to expand its powers and justify all manner of government tyranny in the so-called name of national security will not hesitate to override the Constitution and lockdown the nation again.

You’d better get ready, because that so-called crisis could be anything: civil unrest, national emergencies, “unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters.”

COVID-19 was a test to see how quickly the populace would march in lockstep with the government’s dictates, no questions asked, and how little resistance the citizenry would offer up to the government’s power grabs when made in the name of national security.

“We the people” failed that test spectacularly.
