Leftist Director Oliver Stone Slams Dems for Lying Russiagate Attack on Trump

Last week, left-wing movie director Oliver Stone was in Washington, DC, to testify to Congress regarding the JFK assassination files.

Stone’s 1991 political thriller, JFK, explores the investigation of Jim Garrison into the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The film challenges the official Warren Commission report and suggests a conspiracy involving the CIA, the military-industrial complex, and then Vice President Lyndon Johnson.

While in DC, a reporter asked Stone if he was surprised that the public does not know more about the assassination attempt against President Trump and would-be assassin Thomas Crooks.

Stone answered, “I’m surprised we don’t. Yeah, I don’t know much about him. I mean, they have not done their homework.”

“They’re not reporting it.  I would like to know more. Certainly, the parents and history….”  he trailed off.

The reporter then pressed Stone about Russiagate.

“And do you think President Trump wanting to take on the FBI, the CIA, the Intelligence agencies is a good move after what happened to him with the Russia probe and all that?”

Stone responded, “Yeah.  Look at Russiagate. We paid for it.  Russiagate was the result and he’s got….I applaud that. And I hate what they did with Russiagate, I really do.”

“I think it’s, again, the lying, lying, lying…and selling that to the American people.”

“And the whole thing with hating Russia is so negative. It’s so un-American.”

To close the conversation, the reporter then asked, “My last one for you would just be, do you think Trump is right when he says there’s a weaponization against conservatives specifically.”

“Absolutely…there was.”

Oliver Stone Says Fact Checkers Blocked Release of JFK Assassination Doc

According to three-time Oscar winner Oliver Stone, America’s fascist “fact checkers” are blocking the release of his new documentary about the assassination of John Kennedy.

The far-left Variety does this thing where they have celebrities interview one another. The latest involved two Oscar-winning directors, Spike Lee and Stone. During their chat, Stone said he has a four-hour documentary about the 1963 assassination all ready to go, but fascist fact checkers are blocking its release:

Spike Lee: What’s the status of JFK documentary?

Oliver Stone: Well, the four hours that we did is very powerful. It’s based on the facts that came out of the of the [sic] movie. The movie kicked off the assassination records review board for five years. They were not empowered to investigate, but they were empowered to clarify. And they did the best they could with these limitations. The facts that they presented, we go into. It makes the case harder, tighter. It’s about real facts that are shocking to people.

Lee: So you can’t you can’t find a home for this doc?

Stone: Not yet. It’s not for the American side of it. Cannes invited us for July, or June, of this year.

Lee: Netflix said no?

Stone: Yeah. Today I just got the word that National Geographic said no.

Lee: What was the reason they said no?

Stone: They said they did their fact check. Yeah. Where are you going to find this information except in this film? If they do a fact check, according to conventional sources, of course it’ll come out like this is not true. How can you go and prove that it’s true? It’s very, it’s very tough. You have to have some imagination here.

Is an Oliver Stone documentary really going to be blacklisted in the United States of America?

Looks like it.

How un-American is that?

Oliver Stone rejects Bill Maher’s Russia concerns, claims US intel ‘not reliable’

Liberal filmmaker Oliver Stone took “Real Time” host Bill Maher by surprise with his dismissal of the recently released Senate Intelligence Committee report outlining Russia‘s interference in the 2016 election.

Maher highlighted from the report, which was released earlier this week, that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort had “directly and indirectly communicated” with Russian national Konstantin Kilimnik and other pro-Russian oligarchs in Ukraine during the election — in addition to Trump ally Roger Stone being linked to the WikiLeaks dump of Clinton emails.

But that prompted a dismissive wave of the hand from Stone, the 73-year-old director of “JFK,” “Platoon,” and other films.

“You can’t really think that a Russian president … should be able to rat-f— our elections like this, can you?” Maher asked.

“Oh Bill, I’ve known you all too long and I think you’re sophisticated enough to know — we have to question everything that comes out of our intelligence agencies,” Stone responded. “If you haven’t learned that by now, you’ve got a long way to go still.”

“So they’re lying?” Maher asked.

“Intelligence agencies are not reliable. They’ve been screwing with America going back to the Vietnam War, going back to the Iraq Wars, the Afghanistani wars,” Stone continued. “It’s very hard to find out the truth from them. Everything they publish — the rumors, the anonymous sources, the think tanks, the anti-Russia — it all adds up into this ball of wax that becomes enormous. And then they have people like you, who are skeptical generally, believing it. I would really triple-check everything, every one of those sources.”
