7 found dead in Oklahoma field during search for 2 missing teens

Seven bodies have been found on a property in Henryetta, Oklahoma, KOCO reported Monday.

The discovery was part of a search for two teenagers that had gone missing early Monday morning in eastern Oklahoma.

An alert went out Monday morning for 14-year-old Ivy Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer, saying that it was believed they were with 39-year-old Jesse McFadden. The teens are believed to be among the bodies found, though identities have not yet been confirmed.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that deputies took the missing persons report that revealed Webster left during Saturday evening, April 29 to spend the weekend with a friend. She was set to be home by 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. She never returned home.

“Webster was reported to be staying with 39-year-old Jesse McFadden, who, along with two other family members, were believed to be heading to McAlester to work on a ranch,” the report said. But no one from the family went to the ranch and there hadn’t been any contact with them since Sunday.

Brewer was picked up along the way on Saturday evening.

Bill Maher: Why Aren’t Major Black Celebrities Asking Why Black People Are Killing Each Other In Cities Like Chicago?

HBO host Bill Maher on Friday said Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson was “excusing horrific behavior” in a speech he delivered following several shootings in Chicagoland last week and questioned why black celebrities with large fanbases do not have opinions on these issues.

“Most of the shootings [in Chicago] are young black men killing other young black men. Is that not correct?” Maher asked.

“Yeah that’s correct,” guest Glenn Loury responded.

“Okay, much more than what the cops do. Why doesn’t anybody talk about that? Why aren’t there a hundred giant black celebrities who would have the respect of those people saying what are you doing to yourselves? Why are you killing each other?” Maher asked.

“It dishonors our community. Come on, we’re better than this,” Loury said.

“Right,” Maher responded. “It’s never addressed.”

Earth Day co-founder killed, composted girlfriend

Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the “composted” body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.

A self-proclaimed environmental activist, Einhorn made a name for himself among ecological groups during the 1960s and ’70s by taking on the role of a tie-dye-wearing ecological guru and Philadelphia’s head hippie. With his long beard and gap-toothed smile, Einhorn — who nicknamed himself “Unicorn” because his German-Jewish last name translates to “one horn”  —advocated flower power, peace and free love to his fellow students at the University of Pennsylvania. He also claimed to have helped found Earth Day.

But the charismatic spokesman who helped bring awareness to environmental issues and preached against the Vietnam War — and any violence — had a secret dark side. When his girlfriend of five years, Helen “Holly” Maddux, moved to New York and broke up with him, Einhorn threatened that he would throw her left-behind personal belongings onto the street if she didn’t come back to pick them up.

And so on Sept. 9, 1977, Maddux went back to the apartment that she and Einhorn had shared in Philadelphia to collect her things, and was never seen again. When Philadelphia police questioned Einhorn about her mysterious disappearance several weeks later, he claimed that she had gone out to the neighborhood co-op to buy some tofu and sprouts and never returned.

It wasn’t until 18 months later that investigators searched Einhorn’s apartment after one of his neighbors complained that a reddish-brown, foul-smelling liquid was leaking from the ceiling directly below Einhorn’s bedroom closet. Inside the closet, police found Maddux’s beaten and partially mummified body stuffed into a trunk that had also been packed with Styrofoam, air fresheners and newspapers.

Parody Hitman Website Nabs Air National Guardsman After He Allegedly Applied For Murder-For-Hire Jobs

A Hermitage, Tennessee, man is facing federal charges after meeting with an undercover FBI agent to culminate a deal to murder an individual for payment, announced U.S. Attorney Henry C. Leventis.

Josiah Ernesto Garcia, 21, was charged yesterday in a criminal complaint with the use of interstate facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire.

According to the complaint, Garcia needed money to support his family and in mid-February began searching online for contract mercenary jobs and came across the website www.rentahitman.com. Originally created in 2005 to advertise a cyber security startup company, the company failed and over the next decade it received many inquiries about murder-for-hire services. The website’s administrator then converted the website to a parody site that contains false testimonials from those who have purported to use hit man services, and an intake form where people can request services. The website also has an option for someone to apply to work as a hired killer.

Garcia submitted an employment inquiry indicating that he was interested in obtaining employment as a hit man. Garcia followed up on this initial request and submitted other identification documents and a resume, indicating he was an expert marksman and employed in the Air National Guard since July 2021. The resume also indicated that Garcia was nicknamed “Reaper” which was earned from military experience and marksmanship. Garcia continued to follow up with the website administrator indicating that he wanted to go to work as soon as possible.

Oklahoma sheriff, commissioner, accused of discussing killing a reporter and returning to Black hangings

In southeast Oklahoma, the sheriff of McCurtain County, one of his investigators and a county commissioner are accused by a newspaper of discussing to kill a local reporter and lamenting that modern justice no longer includes hanging Black people. 

The explosive accusations were published this week in the McCurtain Gazette-News.

According to the newspaper, Sheriff Kevin Clardy, investigator Alicia Manning and District 2 Commissioner Mark Jennings were part of an impromptu discussion after the March 6 meeting of the county Board of Commissioners. 

The Gazette reported that it is in possession of the full audio recording of the discussion. The FBI and the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office also have copies of the recording, according to the newspaper.

A portion of the audio recordings were released online over the weekend, and while the audio matched some of the quoted material in the story, The Oklahoman could not identify who the speakers were in the recordings.

None of the allegedly recorded individuals could immediately be reached for comment.

Chris Willingham is the reporter for the Gazette who was discussed in recordings. He is also the author of the article.

Willingham declined to comment on the story, citing ongoing litigation between himself and the sheriff’s office.

During the discussion, which was recorded without the trio knowing, the Gazette reported Manning saying she needed to take some packages to a shipping center near the newspaper’s office. 

She expressed concern about what could happen if Willingham walked out of the newspaper’s office, according to the newspaper. 

According to the Gazette, Willingham that day had filed a defamation lawsuit against the sheriff’s office, Manning and the Board of County Commissioners. 

The lawsuit claims were published in the Gazette about three months ago when the initial tort claim was filed, according to the newspaper’s report.

“Oh, you’re talking about you can’t control yourself?” Jennings allegedly said.

In response, Manning allegedly said:

“Yeah, I ain’t worried about what he’s gonna do to me. I’m worried about what I might do to him. My papaw would have whipped his ass, would have wiped him and used him for toilet paper … if my daddy hadn’t been run over by a vehicle, he would have been down there.”

Jennings replied that his 86-year-old father, in response to an opinion published in the newspaper, once “started to go down there and just kill him,” according to the Gazette.

“I know where two big, deep holes are here if you ever need them,” Jennings allegedly said. 

Clardy, the sheriff, allegedly said he had the equipment. 

“I’ve got an excavator,” Clardy is accused of saying during the discussion.

“Well, these are already pre-dug,” Jennings allegedly said. 

Jennings allegedly talked about knowing hitmen in Louisiana who could “cut no (expletive) mercy.”

A brief discussion about assaulting local judges followed, according to the Gazette.

Former police oversight commissioner’s death investigated as homicide after she’s found dead in her Michigan home

Foul play is suspected after a former police oversight commissioner was found dead in her Ann Arbor, Michigan, home by officers conducting a welfare check, the department said Thursday.

The death of Jude Walton, 51, is being investigated as a homicide. A police spokesman said there was evidence of forced entry to the home’s backdoor and “obvious signs of trauma on her body.”

No arrests have been made. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause of death, spokesman Chris Page said.

Police were called to the home on Chapin Street around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday after her employer said she had not shown up for work. She was last seen by a neighbor around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Page said.

“Once officers arrived and entered the home, they discovered the body of a 51-year-old Ann Arbor woman,” a police news release states.

Portland Police Held Back Details Of Brutal Murder Because Suspect Is Trans

Police in Portland deliberately delayed releasing details surrounding the brutal murder of a cab driver on Easter Sunday because the suspect is a trans individual with a history of threatening behavior, according to a report by journalist Andy Ngo.

The driver was found by police stabbed to death on Sunday evening in the Buckman Neighborhood, with Radio City Cab confirming the victim was a long-time employee with an impeccable record.

Ngo says he investigated the case after finding it suspicious that barely any details about an apprehended suspect were provided in the press release.

It was only on Monday afternoon that the Portland Police Bureau identified the suspect as 30-year-old Moses Lopez, who was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center, charged with Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Ngo details how Lopez was booked days before for threatening a different person with a weapon, but had been released without bail.

The journalist also notes how the individual’s was previously fired from working as a certified nursing assistant for allegedly engaging in abusive and threatening behavior towards co-workers.

Ngo says Portland police are still refusing to answer when asked if Lopez is trans.

The incident comes just a fortnight after the shooting in Nashville by a trans individual, with the person’s manifesto still being withheld from public release by authorities.

Kurt Cobain suicide case should be reopened after ‘new evidence proves he was murdered’, author says

KURT Cobain died of a massive heroin overdose and could not have shot himself, according to an award-winning documentary maker who is calling for a new murder probe into the case. 

New York Times bestselling author Ian Halperin says he has evidence the Nirvana frontman had 70 times the lethal dose of heroin in his system when he was found with a gunshot wound to the head at his home in Seattle in April 1994. 

It means that it is “scientifically impossible” that Cobain, who died aged 27, could have turned the gun on himself, according to Halperin.

The 58-year-old writer says that another telltale sign that someone else was involved is that, allegedly, no prints were found on the shotgun.

Halperin claims to have spoken to Seattle law enforcement sources who believe the case was “steered away” from murder and wrongly dismissed as just another drug addict death. 

And he also points to ex-Seattle police chief Norm Stamper’s previous admission that a new investigation should be launched.

Arab billionaire’s son admits to murder of 23-year-old student, writes it off as a ‘sex accident.’ Won’t return to UK to face justice because he ‘doesn’t like the weather’

23-year-old Martine Vik Magnussen was raped and murdered in 2008. Her body was found under debris and garbage in a London basement. Her Yemeni killer managed to elude police and avoid addressing his guilt until slipping up recently in an interview with the BBC.

Farouk Abdulhak, the playboy son of an Arab billionaire who fled the United Kingdom to Yemen, admitted to killing the student, writing off her tragic rape and murder as “just a sex accident gone wrong.”

Despite this admission of guilt, Abdulhak has made it clear he has no intention of returning to the U.K. to face justice, in part because he is not a fan of the weather.

The murder and getaway

Magnussen, a Norwegian student, was last seen alive on March 14, 2008. She had gone out to celebrate having aced an exam at Regent’s Business School. Between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., she was seen getting into a taxi with fellow student and friend Farouk Abdulhak, reported the Guardian.

One of the victim’s friends suggested the victim and her killer had a platonic relationship and that she had rebuked him in a prior instance where he had attempted to kiss her.

Magnussen’s friends later noted that Abdulhak got angry that evening whenever anybody attempted to take a picture of him and his future victim together, reported the BBC.

Two days later, police found her naked body dumped in the basement of a central London flat where the unrepentant rapist had been living. Abdulhak had reportedly made a “token attempt” to disguise Magnussen’s corpse.

The Guardian noted that Magnussen’s body showed signs she had put up a significant fight against her rapist. She had suffered 43 cuts and grazes, “many of them typical of assault type injuries or those received in a struggle.”

Abdulhak erased his Facebook profile and boarded a March 14 flight to Cairo. A Yemeni national, he then returned to his homeland on his father’s private jet.
