The Percentage Of Americans Who Worry They Won’t Be Able To Pay Their Bills Is Higher Than It Was During The Great Recession

Do you remember how painful the Great Recession was?  2008 and the years immediately following were definitely a very dark chapter in our history, but a new study has actually found that the percentage of Americans that worry they won’t be able to pay their bills is actually higher today than it was back then.  Slowly but surely, our economic strength has been fading and our standard of living has been falling.  Unfortunately, now we have reached a point where a very large portion of the U.S. population is really struggling.  According to a CNN poll that was just released, almost 40 percent of all U.S. adults “say they worry most or all of the time that their family’s income won’t be enough to meet expenses”…

Many Americans regularly worry they won’t be able to make ends meet.

Nearly four in ten (39%) of US adults say they worry most or all of the time that their family’s income won’t be enough to meet expenses, according to a new CNN poll. That’s up from 28% who expressed those concerns in December 2021, and it’s similar to the numbers seen during the Great Recession (37%).

To cope, significant shares of Americans said they are adding side jobs, cutting down on driving and putting more expenses on credit cards.

If you would have asked me before I saw the results, I would have been quite confident that the number during the Great Recession would have been higher than the number in 2024.

Just like everyone else, I remember the Great Recession as such a painful time.

Sadly, the economic pain that we are experiencing now is just beginning.

Ordinary Americans from coast to coast are being absolutely crushed by rising prices, and that isn’t going to change any time soon.

Biden’s surprise call to old campaign staff is labelled FAKE after viewers spot suspicious detail

Joe Biden’s phone call to former campaign staffers on Monday has sparked new theories on the president’s health after an odd moment between the president and Kamala Harris.

The 81-year-old spoke in a scratchy voice from COVID isolation at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, home and told Harris: ‘I’m watching you, kid’.

However, many noted a strange exchange between the vice president and her boss, who has not been seen in five days and since he shocked the world by dropping out of the race via a letter posted to social media on Sunday.

The new presumptive Democratic nominee Harris said: ‘Joe, I know you’re still on the rec… on the call.’

With many having wildly suggested Biden is seriously ill because of the way he announced his departure, conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene wondered if the game had been given up by Harris’ slip of the tongue.

Greene was referring to Harris clearly starting to say the word ‘recording’ before correcting herself and saying ‘call’ to Biden.

Biden FINALLY shows face in public, six days after dropping out of 2024 race as he walks toward Air Force One in Delaware

President Joe Biden was seen in public for the first time in six days on Tuesday as he left isolation in Delaware to return to the White House.

The 81-year-old has not showed his face since his bombshell announcement he was dropping out of the race on Sunday and sparked wild conspiracy theories with his absence.

The last time he made an appearance was last Wednesday – when he slowly exited Air Force One in Dover to go into isolation after being diagnosed with COVID. Only his voice was heard on a call into his old campaign office on Monday.

On Tuesday he emerged from his SUV with a mask, turned to the press and said he is ‘well’ and then slowly headed to the stairs of Air Force One to make the trip back to Washington D.C. for the first time since ending his 2024 bid.

Before Biden was seen in public, his physician announced the president has recovered from COVID.

‘The President’s symptoms have resolved. Over the course of his infection, he never manifested a fever, and his vital signs remained normal, to include pulse oximetry. His lungs remained clear. BINAX rapid antigen testing is negative,’ Dr. Kevin O’Connor said.

Joe Biden abruptly canceled NINE trips and extended his stay at his Rehoboth Beach house after he dropped out of the 2024 race on Sunday.

Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race on Sunday in an announcement on X.

We still haven’t seen a photo or video of Joe Biden. The last time we saw Biden, he was struggling to get into his motorcade last Wednesday after his ‘Covid’ diagnosis.

According to The New York Post, Biden canceled nine trips and will hide out at his beach house for a few more days.

Biden’s next trip is tentatively scheduled for July 31.

President Biden has canceled nine trips that were scheduled for the next two weeks after suddenly dropping out of the 2024 race, The Post can reveal.

Biden was scheduled to leave Monday for the West Coast, where he was to make stops in California, Denver, Houston and Austin – but all of those trips have been suddenly canceled, a White House source told The Post.

Biden, who has been isolating with COVID-19, was set to leave his home in Rehoboth, Del., on Monday, but extended his stay until Wednesday after announcing the end of his campaign the night before.

“They started canceling stuff when he announced he wasn’t seeking reelection,” the source said, adding that the trips were a mix of campaign and official presidential stops.

“He was supposed to leave today to start the West Coast trip, but they extended his stay in Rehoboth until the 24th,” the source added.

Report: Las Vegas Hospital Was Put on Standby for Sudden Biden Medical Issue Last Wednesday, Instead, Air Force One Flew to Delaware So Fast “the Plane Shook”

KSNV-TV reported last Wednesday that a Las Vegas hospital was put on standby to treat Joe Biden for a medical issue. Biden cut short a campaign trip to Nevada after reportedly being diagnosed with COVID and returned to Delaware, without going to the hospital, where he has not been seen since a pool camera caught him Wednesday night being unable to get in a car without help from the Secret Service. A pool reporter reported Air Force One flew back so fast “the plane shook.”

Biden withdrew from the presidential race on Sunday via a post on X Twitter. Biden called into a meeting Kamala Harris was having at his former campaign headquarters, now hers, in Wilmington, Delaware on Monday. It was the first time Biden had been heard since Wednesday, but still not seen by the public.

A Las Vegas hospital was on standby after being alerted about a possible medical issue with President Joe Biden Wednesday afternoon while he was visiting Southern Nevada.

Law enforcement and medical teams gathered outside the University Medical Center trauma room entrance on Wellness Way in case the President of the United States arrived after he canceled an appearance at the Unidos US Convention in Las Vegas due to testing positive for COVID-19. Unidos US President and CEO Janet Murguía made the announcement to attendees who were waiting to hear the president speak.

President Biden did not seek medical treatment at the hospital but instead went to the airport and departed Las Vegas on Air Force One to self-isolate at his home in Delaware.

…”Typically, with traumas, you’ve got surgeons and CTS and X-rays and operating rooms,” (Mason) Van Houweling (CEO of UMC) said. “We knew that this was going to be more of a medical environment. So (having) your typical imaging and your lab procedures and other things that would be more intense on a medical side versus a trauma. So, we adjusted our team based off the information that we received early on.”

Van Houweling said the hospital remained in communication with President Biden’s security team about the evolving incident. Law enforcement and staff did not start to clear the area outside trauma and inside the hospital until after Air Force One departed Las Vegas.

The Daily Mail’s Emily Goodin posted last Wednesday night after Air Force One landed in Delaware, “POTUS arrives in Dover. “I’m doing well,” he said. Flight time from Vegas was 3 hour 48 minutes. AF1 flew so fast the plane shook” (Travel Math has normal Vegas to Dover timed at 4 hours and 50 minutes.)

Google search requests for “Is Biden Dead” have surged past “Donate to Kamala” amid growing speculation over Joe Biden’s whereabouts since he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race on Sunday.

A Google Trends graphic shows that in the past 24 hours, searches for “Donate to Kamala” have flatlined while searches for “Is Biden Dead” skyrocketed as questions swirl over his exit from the race when he issued a statement via X and has not been seen publicly since July 17.

Biden’s letter raised even more eyebrows because it did not include an official presidential letterhead and his signature was suspiciously different from his previous signatures.

Biden’s conspicuous absence from the public eye has even prompted media pundits to question why he hasn’t shown his face following his historic announcement.

“Proof of Life, Please!” Fox Hosts Ask If Biden Is Even Still Alive

Fox hosts Brett Baier and Dana Perino expressed concern for President Biden on their show yesterday, asking for proof that the President is actually still alive.

“Not physically seeing him—even address a camera in Delaware, let alone an Oval Office statement like LBJ did when he dropped out in March of 1968—it is disconcerting, isn’t it?” Baier asked his fellow host.

“Brett, they didn’t even release a White House still photograph. Nothing! I hope he’s fine. You can forgive people for wondering if we are really living Weekend at Bernie’s right now. Like, proof of life, please.”

“We want him to be a person that can stand on his own two feet and look the American people in the eye and explain why he’s leaving. Is it because of health, and if so let us know, so we can pray for you.’ Is it because you were afraid you were going to lose? That’s what Jared Moskowitz just said, the Congressman from Florida.”

President Biden still has COVID-19, and hasn’t been seen publicly since his diagnosis last Wednesday.

Biden’s brother, Frank, has now confirmed that the President’s decision to withdraw was in part motivated by health concerns.

Frank Biden spoke to CBS News and said that he was “incredible proud” of his brother, calling him a “hero.”

In doing so, however, Frank Biden appeared to suggest that his brother’s health may be significantly worsening, using the ominous phrase “whatever time we have left”—which some have taken to mean the President may die.

Donald Trump said Biden’s sickness was a ruse by Democrats to get him off the campaign trail and out of the race. The former president wrote on his Truth Social account: ‘Biden never had Covid. He is a threat to Democracy!’

Despite Biden’s line vowing to address the nation, Republicans are still skeptical of his health status and are demanding he emerge by the end of the day on Monday to confirm in-person his decision to drop out.

‘I demand proof of life from Joe Biden today by 5:00pm,’ Rep. Lauren Boebert posted to X on Monday.

‘He needs to get in front of some camera and discuss if he’s aware that he dropped out,’ the Colorado Republican wrote. ‘Hiding is completely unacceptable.’

Republican National Committeewoman from California Harmeet Dhillon posted to X: ‘Would anyone else here like to know the whereabouts and current health status of President Biden?’
