BIDENOMICS: $517 Billion in Unrealized Losses Cripple US Banking System, 63 Lenders Teeter on the Brink of Insolvency, FDIC Reports

A ticking time bomb.

In another stark example of the economic mismanagement under the Biden regime, a new report from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) reveals a staggering $517 billion in unrealized losses within the US banking system, The Daily Hodl first reported.

This alarming figure, largely due to exposure to the residential real estate market, is a clear indication of the damaging effects of Biden’s failed policies.

The FDIC’s Quarterly Banking Profile report paints a grim picture of the current state of our nation’s financial institutions. Banks are now burdened with more than half a trillion dollars in paper losses on their balance sheets.

Although banks can hold securities until they mature without marking them to market on their balance sheets, these unrealized losses can become an extreme liability when banks need liquidity, per the Daily Hodl.

According to Investopedia, an unrealized loss is a “paper” loss that results from holding an asset that has decreased in price, but not yet selling it and realizing the loss. These losses become “realized” only when the asset is sold at a price lower than its original purchase price.

Biden admin backs ‘harm reduction groups’ that give free drug paraphernalia to addicts

President Biden and his administration have expressed support for providing free drug paraphernalia to fentanyl and other illicit drug users, an effort made feasible by controversial harm reduction groups that believe supplying addicts with clean smoking gear would reduce overdose deaths by eliminating injection methods.

However, a study released in February by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that smoking fentanyl was increasingly linked to overdose deaths in 27 states and Washington, DC. Researchers found that 74 percent of overdose deaths were linked to smoking fentanyl, while fentanyl overdose deaths through injection plummeted.

The Washington Post reported that the Biden administration has embraced the approach of harm reduction groups, despite the fact that these groups have received widespread criticism, and their efforts, which have failed to create significant positive outcomes, have been banned in numerous jurisdictions.

Critics of harm reduction groups believe supplying addicts with free drug paraphernalia only enables their addictions, and think alternative methods such as rehabilitation and therapy are better options. Those who favor harm reduction measures believe that providing clean drug equipment to users, such as smoke pipes and needles, and creating so-called “safe injection sites,” would prevent overdose deaths and the spread of infections caused by sharing needles. However, their methods have been proven as failed experiments.

Who wrote that Gaza peace proposal? All we know is Biden lied

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, went in front of the cameras at the White House on May 31 and presented a multi-stage process for an end of war in Gaza that would release all the hostages, declaring it to be an Israeli peace plan.

It would be interesting to learn from Biden which Israeli came up with this plan.

Biden’s “Israeli” plan sounded comprehensive but it wasn’t, and it didn’t sound right. 

According to Biden we would get all our hostages after we release several hundred merciless killers and accepting a ceasefire that would become a permanent cessation in fighting. But no word about the defeat of Hamas and its leaders.

In other words, Biden’s Israel plan gifts a victory to Hamas.

Our officials have negotiated with any partner, friend or enemy, to get our hostages back for months, but the thought that Hamas would emerge armed and dangerous was never on the cards. In fact, this detail has split a part of Israeli society who want the hostages home even if Hamas is left to repeat the horrors of Oct. 7, but they are a vocal but small part of the population.

This part also wants to remove Netanyahu as Israel’s leader. These are led by the malcontents that had split Israeli society up to the day that Hamas attacked on Oct. 7. Prior to that day they included notable, some would say malevolent, former leftist politicians and retired IDF and air force commanders who were telling reservists not to turn up for duty as long as Bibi was prime minister.

Are Biden And Netanyahu Orchestrating War In the United States?

I start by saying it outright: America is on the precipice of war! And I’m talking not only about war abroad; I’m talking about war within the United States. And these wars are being deliberately orchestrated by President Joe Biden in the United States and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel.

Strong language? Yes. But the facts prove the language is not hyperbolic.

On February 8, I wrote a column entitled U.S. Government Gives Millions To Jewish Group To Escort Illegals Into America.

In that column, I quoted Peggy Hall saying:

Here are the dark and dirty details of how the US is financially footing the bill for the immigrant invasion.

There is a Jewish organization called HIAS, which stands for Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

HIAS gets hundreds of millions of dollars in US funding through the Office of Refugees Resettlement (ORR). ORR was created by Brandon Biden as part of the Department of Health and Human Services in the federal government. (Note: just a reminder for how bloated and excessive the federal government is. There is NOTHING in the Constitution that allows for these unfettered agencies that are created on the whim of the president.)

Check out the ORR website here, and note near the bottom of the list of agencies that are getting matching grants from YOUR money.

You’ll see that HIAS is listed as one of those agencies.

HIAS spends YOUR tax dollars on getting 500,000 ILLEGALS all the way from South America and Central America into the USA.

You might think that the poor immigrants should get the red carpet welcome wagon treatment. After all, think of the deplorable conditions they are escaping, not to mention the risks these asylum seekers face while trying to escape to a better life.

Um… that’s not really the case, at least for these refugees that are helped every step of the way by HIAS (funded with millions of dollars from the US government).

After that column was published, I was chided by several people accusing me of distorting the facts relative to the significance of the HIAS connection to the collusion between Joe Biden’s White House and the Israeli organization in the planned and orchestrated smuggling of not 500,000 but millions of criminal illegal aliens into America—at a taxpayer expense amounting to billions of dollars.

Well, it turns out, not only was I right, but the half was not even told.

Presidents Who Gamble With Nuclear Armageddon

The overriding job of any U.S. president is to keep the nation safe. In the nuclear age, that mainly means avoiding nuclear Armageddon. Joe Biden’s reckless and incompetent foreign policy is pushing us closer to annihilation. He joins a long and undistinguished list of presidents who have gambled with Armageddon, including his immediate predecessor and rival, Donald Trump.

Talk of nuclear war is currently everywhere. Leaders of NATO countries call for Russia’s defeat and even dismemberment, while telling us not to worry about Russia’s 6,000 nuclear warheads. Ukraine uses NATO-supplied missiles to knock out parts of Russia’s nuclear-attack early-warning system inside Russia. Russia, in the meantime, engages in nuclear drills near its border with Ukraine. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg give the green light to Ukraine to use NATO weapons to hit Russian territory as an increasingly desperate and extremist Ukrainian regime sees fit.

These leaders neglect at our greatest peril the most basic lesson of the nuclear confrontation between the U.S. and Soviet Union in the Cuban Missile Crisis, as told by President John F. Kennedy, one of the few American presidents in the nuclear age to take our survival seriously. In the aftermath of the crisis, Kennedy told us, and his successors:

Above all, while defending our own vital interests, nuclear powers must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war. To adopt that kind of course in the nuclear age would be evidence only of the bankruptcy of our policy – or of a collective death-wish for the world.

Yet this is exactly what Biden is doing today, carrying out a bankrupt and reckless policy.

Biden Admin Sneakily Grants ‘Mass Amnesty’ to Migrants via Legal Loophole: Report

On Sunday, the New York Post revealed that the Biden administration is operating a “mass amnesty” program for illegal immigrants, while simultaneously attempting to portray the message that they are cracking down on the border. 

The Post cited data indicating that more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by illegal immigrants since 2022 have been closed by the government, as long as the applicants have no criminal record and are not viewed as a threat to the country. 

This means that the migrants are not granted or denied asylum, but rather their cases are “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim.” 

This means that they are removed from the system and not required to check in with authorities, giving them the ability to legally and indefinitely roam through the US without risk of deportation.

Making Over $141K, Minneapolis Mayor Thanks Biden For Student Loan Forgiveness

If you weren’t already infuriated by Joe Biden’s exploitation of the federal student loan program as a means of buying votes and redistributing wealth, this should do the trick. 

On Wednesday, Minneapolis Mayor Melvin Carter — who earns makes takes $140,814 a year before benefits — rushed to Twitter to thank President Biden for erasing his remaining student debt, sharing a screen shot showing his outstanding balance had turned to zero. 

The latest drip in the fiscal Chinese water torture that’s being inflicted on responsible, productive Americans came earlier that day, with Biden announcing he was cancelling another $7.7 billion of debt. With that, the total such debt wiped away by his administration has reached $167 billion.  

After emphasizing that the average beneficiary of Biden’s self-serving abuse of taxpayers has had $35,000 in debt forgiven, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre fielded a challenging question from, of all sources, NBC News. Correspondent Peter Alexander asked, “Why don’t those individuals who didn’t receive $35,000 in debt cancellation deserve a $35,000 check from other Americans for what other means they would want to use it?”

The Deepfake Privilege? The Justice Department Makes Startling Claim To Withhold the Biden-Hur Audiotape

We have been discussing the dubious constitutional basis for President Joe Biden withholding the audio tapes of his interview with special counsel Robert Hur. I have previously written that the claim of privilege makes little sense when the transcript of the interview has already been released. It seems curious that Biden is claiming to be the president “who cannot be heard” in withholding the audio version.

It just got wackier as the Justice Department seeks to create a new type of “Deepfake privilege” that would effectively blow away all existing limits on the use of the privilege when it comes to audio or visual records of a president.

Multiple committees are investigating Biden for possible impeachment and conducting oversight on the handling of the investigation into his retention and mishandling of classified material over decades. Classified documents were found in various locations where Biden lived or worked, including his garage. The mishandling of classified material is uncontestable. Broken boxes, unprotected areas and lack of tracking are all obvious from the photos.

Biden made the situation even worse with a disastrous press conference in which he attacked Hur and misrepresented his findings.

Hur’s ultimate conclusion that Biden’s diminished cognitive abilities would undermine any prosecution left many dumbfounded. After all, the man who is too feeble to prosecute is not only running a superpower with a massive nuclear arsenal but running for reelection to add four more years in office.

Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky slams Joe Biden and insists green light to bomb Russia with US weapons doesn’t go far enough in rare rebuke

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has criticised US president Joe Biden in a rare rebuke, claiming that the US’ decision to allow Ukraine to attack Russia with American weapons doesn’t go far enough. 

While Zelensky, speaking at Asia‘s top security summit in Singapore, thanked Biden for allowing Ukraine to strike limited Russian territory with US arms, he said restrictions need to be dropped. 

The US last week gave Ukraine permission to use American missiles to fire in to Kharkiv, where Russian troops have been building up in numbers. But this is the only area they are allowed to fire into, and Ukraine is only allowed to fire certain weapons. 

Zelensky said: ‘Is that sufficient? No. Why? Because I have given you the example of airfields from which Russia is permanently firing, in calm, knowing that Ukraine will not fire back because it has no corresponding systems and no permissions.’

He said that Russia has the advantage with the restrictions put on Ukraine, as its armies can carry on using artillery and long-range weapons to hit civilian infrastructure.

Trump and RFK Jr. Agree to ‘The People’s Town Hall,’ But Biden Will Be Missing

President Joe Biden will be the odd man out in a series of town halls focused on the presidential election, according to a new report.

Cable news network NewsNation and social media giant X have secured an agreement “in principle” of former President Donald Trump and independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to participate in live town halls, according to Axios, which cited sources it did not name.

“The Biden campaign has not agreed to take part,” Axios said in an article published on Thursday.

The Trump-Kennedy project is not a debate, but separate live interviews in what is being billed as “The People’s Town Hall.”

Dates and locations have not been determined, but the concept is that users can submit questions to moderators both before and during the events, Axios said it was told.

The final slate of questions will be determined by the moderators, who have not yet been picked.

Axios said X CEO Linda Yaccarino instigated the concept and reported that the goal “is to make X the destination in which everyday people can have a greater voice in the political process.”

Biden and Trump are scheduled for a debate hosted by CNN on June 27 in Atlanta, but Kennedy has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission over the event, according to Fox News.

“The violations occurred when, based on the available evidence, CNN colluded with the Biden committee and the Trump committee to schedule and did schedule a debate with criteria that were designed to result in the selection of certain pre-chosen participants, namely Biden and Trump,” the letter of complaint said.

The alleged collusion means CNN is “in a clear breach of federal campaign finance law,” the letter said.
