As Inflation Takes Its Toll Americans Set to Get Smaller Social Security COLA in 2025

America’s seniors face a financial squeeze in 2025, with Social Security increases lagging behind rising costs of basics like food and housing.

This comes as Democrats spend billions on illegal immigrants, raising questions about budget priorities.

The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) projects a 2.63% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for Social Security in 2025. This translates to roughly $45 more per month for retirees.

“It’s not enough,” says Shannon Benton, TSCL’s executive director. “Seniors need more to cover rising prices on everyday items.”

Let’s look at the numbers:

– 2024 COLA: 3.2% (about $59 more per month)
– 93% of seniors say this increase didn’t cover their rising costs
– Many report monthly expenses rising by $185 in 2023

This gap is causing real problems.

Benton notes growing “food insecurity” among seniors. Many struggle to pay for basics like heating and cooling.

They also claim that Republicans are falsely demonizing illegal immigrants. However, protecting the border and enforcing the law is not a Nazi act; it is a normal function of government and part of the contract a government has with its citizenry.

As for demonization, the claims of illegal immigrants taking jobs and lowering wages are 100% true. To cover for the negative impact of immigration on jobs and wages, Biden lies about his job numbers, and Democrats and the mainstream press support his false claims.

As of June 2024,  approximately 6.8 million Americans were unemployed. In fiscal year 2023, the United States hit a record of 3.2 million encounters with illegal immigrants nationwide, including more than 2.4 million encounters at the Southwest border alone.

Over the past four fiscal years, from October 2019 to January 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported more than 9.8 million border encounters across the country. This number represents approximately 2.93% of the current U.S. population, which is estimated to be around 334 million.

The Biden administration claims that unemployment is at the lowest level in fifty years. However, the unemployment rate is currently 4.1%, which is higher than during most of the Trump administration.

Biden-Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond dismissed rumors that Joe Biden is considering withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Thursday that influential Democrats such as Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries are doubting Biden’s viability. Behind the scenes, it is alleged that Schumer and Jeffries are working to sabotage Biden.

This claim is bolstered by the fact that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have reportedly persuaded the DNC to delay its presidential nomination vote.

The Democrat National Committee said Wednesday they won’t hold their virtual roll call vote before August which leaves room for a coup.

According to Newsmax TV reporter Mark Halperin, Biden “plans to announce withdrawal from nomination as early as this weekend, with Sunday most likely.”

Biden is not expected to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, nor will he resign from the presidency. Halperin suggested an open convention with Harris and about three other candidates. He mentioned potential running mates for Harris, including Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and PA Gov. Josh Shapiro.

Another summer outbreak of COVID-19 is here. President Biden announced he is sick with the virus on Wednesday, and he’s in good company.

Test positivity rates are up across the country, according to the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data, with rates especially high in California, New Mexico, and Nevada, where President Biden was traveling on Wednesday.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement on Wednesday that the president “has received his first dose” of Paxlovid, the antiviral treatment from Pfizer that’s meant to ease COVID-19 symptoms and make the virus less dangerous for high-risk patients.

But some experts wonder why you’d even prescribe this drug, which has been shown in study after study to be lackluster, at best.

Will the Biden Administration Start WWIII?

There is a long and instructive history of ruthless men starting foreign wars whenever they perceived their hold on power to be weakening. As James Madison remarked in a 1787 debate:

The means of defence against a foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people. It is perhaps questionable, whether the best concerted system of absolute power in Europe could maintain itself, in a situation, where no alarms of external danger could tame the people to the domestic yoke.

Watch out for a sharp escalation with Russia before November. The American people should not be suckered by our government invoking the specter of a foreign bogeyman in order to suspend the election. The Democrats have already signaled their endorsement of this strategy by accepting that their hero Zelensky suspended elections in Ukraine.

Hilarious: Biden Reads Out Loud A Note From Handlers Saying “You Are Sounding Defensive”

Joe Biden is sick. He’s not going to get better. This fact was in evidence again on a recent call with Democrat lawmakers where he was supposed to be making his case for not having brain rot, but instead read out loud a note that his handlers gave him warning “you are sounding defensive.”

The New York Times reports that the note handed to Biden criticised the tone he was taking on the call and advised him to “stay positive,” but that he blurted it out into the phone for everyone to hear. 

Biden doesn’t have the mental faculties anymore to do anything and so literally has to be told what to do at all times. 

He can’t separate his inside thoughts from his outside voice.

What did his handlers expect? He’s been reading out “pause” and “end quote” on the teleprompter for months now.

Biden Is Out, Ending Presidential Run: Report

Joe Biden will end his run for US President in mere days, according to a new report. American journalist Mark Halperin revealed the news after multiple reports revealed that more and more Democrats are urging Biden to get out of the race.

“According to multiple Democratic sources, this is happening all of a sudden. Everyone said it would happen gradually and then all at once, and that’s what’s happening,” Halperin said. “According to my sources, President Biden has agreed to step down as a Democratic nominee. It happens as early as this weekend. His speech has been drafted for him.”

Halperin continued: “He will continue on as president because that is his intention, he also will not uphold endorse Vice President Harris as his successor. They’re hoping that he will endorse an open process in which the convention will be open to Vice President Harris and a few other candidates in Chicago.”

“The belief is that Vice President Harris is already looking at potential running mates to go to Chicago with a full ticket, including one possibility, Andy Beshear, the governor of Kentucky, and perhaps the governor of Pennsylvania, Governor Shapiro.”

Biden Claims He’s Done More for the ‘Palestinian Community’ Than Anyone Else

President Biden claimed in an interview published on Monday that he has done more for the “Palestinian community” than anyone else, comments that come after over nine months of his administration supporting Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza.

“I’m the guy that did more for the Palestinian community than anybody,” he said on the YouTube show 360 With Speedy.

As an example of what he’s done for the “Palestinian community,” Biden said, ” I’m the guy that opened up all the assets, I’m the guy that made sure that I got the Egyptians to open the border to let goods and medicine and food through.”

However, Biden also backed the Israeli operation to capture the Rafah border crossing on the Egypt-Gaza border, and it’s been closed ever since.

Biden also appeared to suggest in the interview that he has only provided “defensive weapons” to Israel even though his administration has shipped tens of thousands of bombs and other types of munitions.

“I sent defensive weapons,” Biden claimed. “I denied them offensive weapons that they were using 2,000lb bombs and the rest because I made it real clear they cannot use weapons that we provide them to, in fact, use in civilian areas.”

The president appeared to be referring to his administration pausing a shipment of 500-pound and 2,000-pound bombs to Israel. However, the 500-pound bombs have been approved to be delivered despite Israel continuing to drop heavy munitions on civilians.

Under Biden More Americans on Welfare and Fewer Americans Working

Socialists want higher taxes, increased reliance on government, and if possible, the complete elimination of the private sector.

They aim to transform the US into a country where, like much of the world, 1 in 5 youths are NEET—“not in employment, education, or training.” In the US, the percentage of those aged 16-24 qualifying as NEET has already reached 11.9%, and as welfare and unemployment benefits increase, so will this number.

They advocate for universal basic income (UBI), which is defined as “an unconditional cash payment given at regular intervals by the government to all residents, regardless of their earnings or employment status.” The country appears to be moving in this direction.

Under Biden, more people are on government assistance than at any time in US history, and the workforce participation rate is at the lowest point since 1978, when women became fully integrated into the workforce.

The low workforce participation rate is the result of liberal government unemployment and disability payments, as well as food and rent assistance, that make it more profitable to stay home and collect checks than to work.

Those who support welfare programs often downplay the amount of money recipients receive by citing a single program like SNAP, where the maximum benefit for a family of four is $931.
