“Civil War Rematch”!? Chicago Mayor Establishes “ICE-Free Zones” After Abandoning Border Agents Under Attack

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order Monday blocking federal immigration agents from using city-owned property for immigration enforcement operations – just one day after we learned that the city ‘waved off’ cops responding to a vehicle-ramming attack on Border Patrol agents over the weekend.

Johnson has established “ICE-free zones,” referring to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) – as part of his ‘Protecting Chicago Initiative.’

“Today, we are signing an executive order aimed at reining in this out-of-control administration,” Johnson said during a Monday press conference. “The order establishes ICE-free zones. That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as staging grounds for these raids.”

“The Trump administration must end the war on Chicago,” Johnson continued. “The Trump administration must end this war against Americans. The Trump administration must end its attempt to dismantle our democracy.”

Johnson has directed Chicago agencies and departments to identify spaces within the next five days that have been targeted during ICE raids and post a clear message to federal immigration officers that the city-owned property would not be used for immigration enforcement, including as a staging area, processing location or operations base. -Fox News

The move follows a Monday lawsuit from Gov. JB Pritzker attempting to block the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops in Chicago

Johnson accused the “extreme right” of refusing to accept the results of the Civil War (!?) when slavery – a Democrat thing – was abolished.

“They have repeatedly called for a rematch, but in the coming weeks, we will use this opportunity to build greater resistance. Chicagoans are clear that militarizing our troops in our city as justification to further escalate a war in Chicago will not be tolerated,” he said.

“The right wing in this country wants a rematch of the Civil War,” Johnson continued.

It Has Come to This: Chicago Police Told to Abandon ICE Officers Who Were Attacked in a Gunfight

Governors and mayors in Blue cities are the new Confederates. They are, so far, not engaged in a shooting war with federal law enforcement officers, but they have declared open season for others to attack and shoot at them.

I guess it is on-brand for the Chicago Police to ignore gunshots, but generally speaking, law enforcement officers respond promptly when other law enforcement officers request assistance when their lives are endangered.

This morning, during routine patrolling in Broadview, in the same area of Chicago that law enforcement were assaulted yesterday, our brave law enforcement officers were rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars.

Agents were unable to move their vehicles and exited the car. One of the drivers who rammed the law enforcement vehicle was armed with a semi-automatic weapon. Law enforcement was forced to deploy their weapons and fire defensive shots at an armed US citizen who drove herself to the hospital to get care for wounds.

The armed woman was named in a @CBP intelligence bulletin last week for doxing agents and posting online ‘Hey to all my gang let’s fuck those mother fuckers up, don’t let them take anyone.’

Thankfully, no law enforcement officers were seriously injured in this attack.

Pritzker’s Chicago Police Department is leaving the shooting scene and refuses to assist us in securing the area. There is a growing crowd and we are deploying special operations to control the scene.

CBP officers were attacked–their trucks boxed in between a large number of cars with hostile aggressors who rammed the truck–and wound up having to discharge their weapons at an armed woman who was helping lead the attack.

Antifa-Aligned DEMOCRAT Charged With ASSAULTING Federal Officer Outside ICE Facility

Federal prosecutors announced this week that a Portland woman with ties to Antifa—a newly designated terrorist organization—has been charged with felony assault after striking a federal officer during an encounter at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in South Portland.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon, 39-year-old Katherine Meagan Vogel was arrested on September 30, 2025, after she vandalized federal property by pouring red paint across the driveway of the ICE facility.

Federal officers detained Vogel and escorted her inside the facility for questioning about the vandalism, which constituted depredation of government property.

While officers processed her, Vogel escalated the situation into violence. Court filings state that she struck a federal officer in the jaw with a closed fist.

The assault led to her immediate arrest on an additional felony charge of assaulting a federal officer. Under federal law, the charge carries a penalty of up to eight years in prison.

“Violence and property damage at the ICE building or any other federal building will not be tolerated.

If you assault a federal law enforcement officer or damage federal property, you will be arrested and federally prosecuted,” said U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford in a public statement.

Vogel made her first appearance before a U.S. Magistrate Judge the following day.

She was released under court-imposed conditions pending further proceedings.

Prosecutors emphasized that a criminal complaint is an allegation and Vogel is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The case highlights a broader trend of organized hostility toward immigration enforcement in Portland.

‘A big freaking mistake’: Feds confirm investigation into arrest of reporter Nick Sortor at Portland ICE protest

Nicholas Sortor, an independent, on-the-street reporter who has become famous for his documentation of anti-government actions across America, has announced that the Department of Justice has assured him of an investigation into his arrest by Portland police late Thursday.

The Washington Examiner said the conservative influencer was arrested late Thursday, then released several hours later, early Friday.

He was accused by local police of “second-degree disorderly conduct” while he was documenting violent protests near an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Oregon’s largest city.

Other reports from the scene at the time said Sortor was defending himself from a woman who attacked him.

“Sortor, a 27-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was arrested alongside two Oregon residents, according to a press release from the city’s police department. All three people were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on the same misdemeanor charge,” the Examiner reported.

But later Sortor confirmed the review of his “wrongful arrest” will be conducted by Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon.

He said Attorney General Pam Bondi called him personally with the news.

“The Trump DOJ WILL NOT allow Portland Police to continue to do the bidding of Antifa,” he wrote on X, telling Portland police to “f*** around and find out.”

The report said he explained he was recording footage of federal agents macing protesters when he was surrounded and assaulted, forced to defend himself.

“Nick says he swung back and missed, then disengaged and walked over to a group of Portland PD. He says he was then shocked to be arrested by them, and he sat in the back of a police cruiser while officers figured out what to charge him with,” a witness reportd.

Protests in Portland were triggered by the deployment of National Guard troops to crack down on rampant crime there.

The Gateway Pundit commented, “The woman who attacked him was not arrested.”

ACLU Sues ICE to Release Records of Detainment Facilities

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has filed a lawsuit against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), seeking to compel the agency to disclose records related to specific operations, according to the complaint filed on Oct. 1.

The lawsuit, filed jointly by the ACLU and its Virginia and North Carolina affiliates in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, concerns the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

According to the lawsuit, ICE issued a request for information (RFI) on May 28, seeking information on available detention facilities capable of housing single adult populations to support the agency’s Washington field office.

An RFI is issued to gather information regarding services or products from suppliers. In this case, ICE wanted information on detection facilities. While ICE owns five detention facilities, it relies on private prison companies and other facilities to detain a majority of people in its custody, the lawsuit states.

On Aug. 8, plaintiffs submitted a FOIA request to ICE, asking for records of responses to the agency’s RFI.

“[The FOIA] was enacted to facilitate public access to government documents,” the lawsuit reads.

ICEBlock: Apple removes ICE tracking app following Bondi’s request

Apple removed ICEBlock, which is an app for anonymously reporting sightings of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, from the App Store on Thursday, according to reports.

The move comes after U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi urged Apple to take down the tracking app a day prior.

We reached out to Apple today demanding they remove the ICEBlock app from their App Store — and Apple did so,” Bondi said in a statement obtained by Fox Business News. “ICEBlock is designed to put ICE agents at risk just for doing their jobs, and violence against law enforcement is an intolerable red line that cannot be crossed. This Department of Justice will continue making every effort to protect our brave federal law enforcement officers, who risk their lives every day to keep Americans safe.”

Business Insider confirmed Apple said it also removed “similar apps” from the App Store.

Massive Drone No-Fly Zone Imposed Over Greater Chicago Area

With a large-scale ICE operation now underway in the Chicago area, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has enacted a uniquely massive 15-mile radius prohibition against drone flights. The FAA told us the temporary flight restriction (TFR) for drones in this area was requested by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The no-fly zone lasts through Oct. 12.

Under this restriction, only drones operated in support of national defense, homeland security, law enforcement, search and rescue and other emergency response efforts, or commercially used drones with a valid statement of work are allowed to fly. In addition, media organizations can apply for an approved special governmental interest airspace waiver. Any drones violating this restriction can be seized or destroyed, the TFR explains. It also extends about 15 miles into Lake Michigan, without any explanation.

There have been no reports that drones have created major problems for federal agents. However, having uncrewed aerial vehicles flying during an ongoing operation like the one taking place in the Chicago area clearly raises concerns about operational security as well as the safety of helicopters and other aviation assets flying in support of it. Meanwhile, despite the possibility of waivers for commercial and journalistic purposes, the restriction is also drawing the ire of commercial drone operators and sparking worries about civil liberties violations.

The move comes as the Trump administration has followed through on its vow to bring federal forces into the nation’s third-largest city. Hundreds of federal agents have poured into the region. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump suggested responding to protests in Chicago and elsewhere would be a good way to prepare troops for combat.

“…we should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military – National Guard – but military, because we’re going into Chicago very soon,” Trump told a room full of admirals and generals gathered at Marine Base Quantico.

ANTIFA By Night, NGOs By Day: Left-Wing Political Machine Runs 24/7 Outside Portland ICE Facility

Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam visited the ICE facility in South Portland, exposing how the left-wing political machine operates, from Antifa attacks on the building at night to dark-money–funded NGOs providing support to illegal aliens by day. Together, this paints the picture of how the left’s machine works to subvert the nation, and in extension, national security

Let’s begin with Bergquam’s late-night reporting outside the ICE facility in Portland that shows the federal government personnel countering Antifa warriors who attempted to undermine the Trump administration’s deportation program of criminal illegals.

By early morning, Antifa cells scatter like ants, only to be replaced by workers from leftist NGOs, according to Bergquam, who spoke with Steve Bannon. He noted that these NGO workers are “aiding and abetting illegal aliens” outside the courthouse in Portland.

Bergquam added, “These leftist NGOs are also part of the networks of telling these illegals when ICE is coming to their communities – it’s all a coordinated effort.”

ICE Doesn’t Want You To Know Why They Bought a Phone Cracking System

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is quietly building up its ability to spy on Americans’ phones. Earlier this month, the agency activated a $2 million contract with Paragon, a service that offers the ability to remotely hack into someone’s phone. Last week, ICE entered into an $11 million contract for Cellebrite devices, which allow agents to break into a locked phone in their physical possession.

And they don’t want you to know why. The justification for the no-bid contract states that ICE’s Cyber Crimes Center “has a need for Universal Forensic Extraction Devices (UFEDs) and related services for investigative purposes. Specifically, the Government requires the capability to perform logical, file system, physical, and password data extraction for mobile electronic devices.”

Every other substantive paragraph in the document is redacted, to an almost comical degree. “Cellebrite’s unique capabilities are that they are the only brand product/service that ██████████,” read one paragraph. “Cellebrite remains the most effective solution for ██████████,” reads another.

The Cyber Crimes Center is attached to Homeland Security Investigations, the section of ICE that handles organized crime rather than day-to-day deportations.

Cellebrite is not keen on revealing its capabilities; in a leaked training video, Cellebrite representatives asked police to keep the use of their devices “as hush hush as possible.” But ICE’s justification even censors details about competing products the agency looked at. “Similarly, ██████████ offers ██████████. None of these tools provide ██████████ needed to handle ██████████,” the document reads.

Oregon Files Suit After Hegseth Orders 200 National Guard Troops Federalized to Protect ICE Agents and Facilities in Antifa Stronghold State

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Sunday ordered two hundred Oregon National Guard troops to be put under federal control to protect ICE agents and facilities. The ICE facility in Portland used to process arrested illegal aliens has been the target of violent protests by Antifa terrorists all summer long, with the state and city governments refusing to help protect the facility or local residents who have been tormented and assaulted by Antifa.

Oregon’s attorney general immediately filed suit to block the federalization of the Guard troops.

The two hundred Oregon National Guard troops will be put under the command of Northern Command for a period of sixty days.

Hegseth’s orders came a day after President Donald Trump announced he was authorizing the deployment of troops to protect the Portland ICE facility.
