“Complete Corruption”: Michigan’s Far-Left Atty General Dana Nessel Accused of Illegal Prosecution Against her 2022 GOP Opponent Matt DePerno, Criminal Violations of FOIA

The Democrat who ran for re-election as Michigan’s Attorney General in 2022, far-left Dana Nessel, has been prosecuting her Republican opponent, Matt DePerno, because he tried to investigate voter fraud by getting access to a Dominion Voting machine.

“This is what lawfare looks like: an unconstitutional appointment of a political ally to persecute a political opponent. Illegal funding. All to attack your former opponent,” said Matt DePerno

Michigan’s far-left Attorney General Dana Nessel is currently still prosecuting the 2020 Trump electors, as well as also engaged in, critics say, another outrageous abuse of power to punish her former GOP opponent, Matt DePerno, through what many believe is a blatantly unlawful prosecution.

DePerno, who challenged Nessel in the 2022 election, is currently facing charges stemming from his involvement in the investigation of election equipment in the aftermath of the 2020 election. His investigation was authorized pursuant to a court order in the case of Bailey v Antrim County and Jocelyn Benson. But in legal filings DePerno’s legal team is asking the court to dismiss the charges outright—arguing that Nessel and her office have violated multiple statutes, constitutional provisions, and budgetary laws in orchestrating a political vendetta.

DePerno is specifically charged with “unauthorized access to voting machines.” This stems from the Bailey case where DePerno successfully proved vulnerabilities and susceptibility to election results and equipment being administered remotely and anonymously through an open VPN.

At the core of DePerno’s motion is Nessel’s unprecedented maneuver to hand-pick Muskegon County Prosecutor Dale “DJ” Hilson—a political ally and rumored successor—as “Special Prosecutor” to go after DePerno.

Hilson is the Prosecutor who has repeatedly refused to bring charges against GBI Strategies and the notorious Muskegon Voter Registration Fraud run by the far-left company. Nessel ‘took over’ the investigation from the City of Muskegon, only to quietly terminate and cancel the investigation, lying to the public when she said it had been handed off to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. DJ Hilson, who was also on the 2020 ballot to serve as Muskegon County Prosecutor which he won apparently did not want results of the election reviewed and therefore put the GBI fraud investigation on ice.

“It’s Un-American” – 19 Democratic State AGs Sue To Stop Trump Blocking Non-Citizen Voting

A group of 19 Democratic state attorneys general filed a lawsuit on April 3 disputing President Donald Trump’s executive order that requires voters to verify they are U.S. citizens and prevents states from counting mail-in ballots they receive after Election Day.

“The president’s attempt to control our elections, intimidate voters, and limit Americans’ right to vote is unconstitutional, undemocratic, and frankly, un-American,” said New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat.

On March 25, Trump signed an executive order, titled “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections,” mandating voters to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections. The order also aims to stop states from counting mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day for presidential and congressional elections.

Last year, the states joining in the lawsuit had allowed late ballots that were postmarked ahead of Election Day to be counted if they arrived within a specific window established by state law.

In his order, Trump cited Denmark and Sweden’s policies of not accepting late-arriving mail-in ballots regardless of when they are postmarked and said the United States should follow the same policy.

California and Nevada led the group of 19 states in arguing that Trump lacks the sole power to amend states’ election procedures. Congress, they said, has the power under the Constitution to preempt state laws for federal elections.

“Neither the Constitution nor Congress authorize the president’s attempted voting restrictions,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a Democrat, said in a statement.

The Democratic National Committee and Democratic congressional leaders, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), are already challenging Trump’s order in court.

In their lawsuit, the 19 states argued that the rule violates the Constitution and the National Voting Rights Act, which allows voting as long as a person attests to their citizenship under the threat of perjury.

Three GOP States Find 300,000 Bad Voter Registrations, Along with Hundreds of Non-Citizens Registered to Vote

Voting is one of the bedrocks that the United States of America was built on.

It’s of the utmost importance to the very structure of America that voting will forever remain a sacred and protected right.

Since we can all agree on that … Why in the world is it so hard for the country’s leaders to implement actual voting security measures?

(Well, we know why, but I digress.)

The latest example that America’s voting systems are deeply problematic actually — and scarily — emanates from a pair of reliably Republican states.

In the span of less than a week in mid-March, the Republican-leaning Iowa and the deeper red Idaho and Missouri found catastrophic issues with their respective voter rolls.

On March 14, Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins released a statement saying they found and subsequently removed 18,637 voters who are deceased.

Just The News added, however, that Missouri has also since removed a number of other problematic voter registrations, including 133,520 inactive voters and another 4,000-plus voters who had either moved or were disqualified (due to a felony, for example).

Then, on March 19, Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane announced that his administration had cleared out a whopping “144,121 voter records statewide due to inactivity, change of address, or ineligibility.”

Just a day after that, Iowa Secretary of State Paul D. Pate announced that his team had uncovered and removed another “277 confirmed noncitizens who have voted or are registered to vote.”

Add it up, and you’re looking at close to 300,000 problematic voter registrations being uncovered in a matter of six days.

If these sorts of voluminous issues can crop up in three states like these, imagine how bad it could be in far bigger — and far bluer — states.

And therein lies one of the key issues with voter security: It’s a macro issue that’s being treated at the micro (or state) level.

“Huge unrest in WI tonight as the left overplayed its ballot stuffing and the margin defies logic. GOP areas were turning out record in person voters today but the algorithm for phantom absentee was set so high after November 2024 Trump win that they exposed their hand.

“They over compensated by stuffing too many phantom ballots and got exposed. Plus hearing thousands of mailed “snow bird” ballots never made it back to the clerks office. Remember when I said Trump could issue an EO banning the use of the U.S. Mail? Well… here’s the proof. Mailed ballots can be checked against GOP donor databases and if a GOP voter is tagged… the mailed ballots can be intercepted by the post office and not delivered back to the clerks.

“This apparently happened on a massive scale this time around. So…. Triggers the mailing g of a ballot to a phantom and intercept “Republican Leaning” voter ballots before delivery to the clerks office and you can win elections! We are seeing 85% Republicans voter turn out and the votes still go to the leftist candidate!

COURAGEOUS MI Speaker Pro Tem Smit: “We’re serious about looking into the fraud and investigating here in Michigan” — What’s The Status of FBI’s Investigation Into GBI Strategies Massive Voter Registration Fraud?

MI House Election Integrity Chair and Speaker Pro Tem Rachell Smit met with The Gateway Pundit Founder Jim Hoft and Investigative Journalist Patty McMurray over the weekend to discuss GBI Strategies, aka “Empower Michigan.”

The Dem-funded voter registration group was caught dropping off and sending thousands of voter registrations at once, only one month before the hotly contested 2020 election.

Many of the voter registrations delivered by mail and in person, were identified as being “fraudulent,”. When Meisch noticed that many of them had fake addresses, as well as the same handwriting and signatures, she contacted the Muskegon Police Department.

Although the number of fraudulent voter registrations turned in by the voter registration group is still unknown,  it’s entirely possible that the Dem-funded group turned in tens of thousands of fraudulent voter registrations in Muskegon alone.

GBI Strategies customers included Senator Gary Peters, who won his re-election bid against the popular John James by only 2%, and the then-presidential candidate Joe Biden, whose campaigns each paid GBI Strategies the exact same amount of $242,133 in the 2020 election cycle.

Election Watchdog Uncovers Nearly 5,000 Potentially Illegal Voter Registrations in Milwaukee Ahead of Crucial Wisconsin Elections

Nearly 5,000 voter registrations in the city of Milwaukee have been legally challenged for irregularities, potential fraud, and blatant violations of state and federal law.

The comprehensive legal filing, submitted by concerned citizens Justin Gavery and Joe Nolan, exposes what many conservatives have warned about for years: a broken election system ripe for abuse.

The challenge, backed by the federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and a long list of Wisconsin statutes, calls on the Milwaukee Election Commission (MEC) to investigate and take immediate action on 4,878 questionable voter records.

According to the document obtained by Just the News, all of these individuals cast ballots in the November 5th, 2025 national election.

The report relies on data from the USPS’s CASS® (Coding Accuracy Support System) and National Change of Address (NCOA) databases—tools that objectively verify the accuracy of mailing addresses.

According to the letter sent to Executive Director of Milwaukee Elections Paulina Gutierrez:

On February 20, 2025 a new statewide voter registration list was purchased from WEC’s Badger Voter website. We ran it through our TITAN system which compares it against the US Postal Services main database and also its National Change of Address database. We found many issues, irregularities and also voter fraud.

Each name and address were submitted through the USPS CASS® (Coding Accuracy Support System) evaluation system.

The USPS CASS® evaluation is run against several progressively deeper-leveled databases, such as: state, city, zipcode-S-digit, a check on those 3 columns together, then a check against the street name with in them, then a street number range check, then a check against the actual street number in the “Zip_4” database, and then a check on apt_unit at that specific building, then a check if that address is unoccupied, and then other specialty checks. It returns many columns, each with detailed codes describing one or more problems with each address on this list.

CT GOP Lawmakers Alert AG Pam Bondi After 150 ELECTION FRAUD CHARGES FILED in Bridgeport Democrat Ballot Stuffing Case – Suggest Coordinated, Statewide Voter Fraud Efforts

The Democrat voter fraud machine in Connecticut is crumbling under the weight of its own corruption after five Democrat operatives were indicted on voter fraud charges related to mail-in ballots in the 2023 mayoral primary in February.

  • Wanda Geter-Pataky: Vice Chairperson of the Bridgeport Democratic Town Committee, facing 92 separate criminal charges, including conspiracy to unlawfully possess multiple voters’ absentee ballots.
  • Alfredo Castillo: City Council Member, charged with multiple counts of misrepresenting eligibility requirements for absentee voting and unlawful possession of ballots.
  • Maria Pereira: City Council Member, facing charges of fraudulent voting and being present during the execution of absentee ballots.
  • Jazmarie Melendez: City Council Member, charged with misrepresenting eligibility requirements for absentee voting.
  • Margaret Joyce: Stratford resident and campaign staffer, accused of unlawfully possessing absentee ballots.

These indictments stem from a comprehensive investigation into allegations of widespread absentee ballot tampering during the contentious 2023 Democrat mayoral primary between incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim and challenger John Gomes. Geter-Pataky and Castillo were supporters of Ganim, whereas Pereira and Melendez endorsed Gomes.

MI Republican Lawmakers Send Letter to AG Pam Bondi—Ask For Investigation Into GBI Strategies and Other Voter Registration Groups

MI Speaker Pro Tempore Rachelle Smit and Chair of the MI House Election Integrity Committee has sent a letter to the United States Attorney General Pam Bondi calling for an investigation into fraudulent voter registration efforts and electioneering by partisan voter registration groups who have accepted donations from 501(c)(3) organizations in violation of IRS regulations that prohibit them from engaging in partisan activities.

The letter was signed by Smit and 21 additional Michigan Representatives. Not a single Democrat lawmaker from Michigan signed the letter. Is it possible that the Democratic state representatives don’t care about protecting the sanctity and integrity of elections in Michigan? Would it be wrong to assume that Democrat lawmakers in Michigan especially don’t want GBI Strategies, an organization that was caught by the Michigan State Police, MI Secretary of State’s office and Michigan Attorney General’s office, delivering fake registrations to clerks across the state of Michigan, in person and by mail from a hotel in Auburn Hills, MI, to be investigated? Could they be concerned by the Michigan State Police investigation that began one month before the hotly contested 2020 election?

Perhaps they’re worried that if an investigation is opened into GBI Strategies, the DOJ may question why Senator Gary Peters, who recently and unexpectedly announced his retirement, and then-presidential candidate Joe Biden each paid $242,133 to GBI Strategies.
