Butler, PA, One Year Later: Alleged Would-Be Trump Assassin’s Motive Remains a Mystery

Investigators and journalists appear to remain at a loss as to what motivated 20-year-old Thomas Crooks to allegedly try to kill Donald Trump as the first anniversary of the assassination attempt on then-former president and candidate Donald Trump approaches on July 13.

That mystery prevailed even in an extensive CBS’s report this week, which the network described as the “most comprehensive portrait” of Crooks to date — based on interviews “with more than two dozen friends, professors, law enforcement officials and others, as well as open records requests to half a dozen agencies and a review of thousands of documents.”

Despite all the legwork, CBS concluded:

He left no manifesto, no explanation for why he tried to kill the former and future president. In the year since the shooting, investigators and those who knew him have been trying to piece together what led him to climb that roof in Butler, with frustratingly few answers.

It is not the only news outlet left wondering.

Fox News  and even the newspaper closest to the alleged shooter, the Butler Eagle, came to the same conclusion — that Crooks was leading a secretive double life that provided no clues as to motive up until the time of the assassination attempt.

The fact that Crooks kept to himself wouldn’t even have raised an alarm, the CBS report suggests, because he’d consistently done so his entire life.

What’s left is a mysterious portrait of a bright community college student who went from planning a career in engineering to dying on a rooftop after allegedly firing shots at Trump, wounding him in the ear, killing one rally-goer and critically wounding two others in the spray of gunfire.

The network spoke to Tristan Radcliffe, who had known Crooks since kindergarten and saw him almost daily but never received an invitation to the family’s home.

Radcliffe told the network that really didn’t bother him, saying,  “He always seemed like he focused on his work more, you know, like he came off smart.”

Crooks enrolled in the Community College of Allegheny County in 2022 after his high SAT scores put him in the 99th percentile nationally, the network reported. He told an advisor he was saving up for a four-year engineering program. One former engineering professor there called him a “star student.”

The Jeffrey Epstein Case Is Far Bigger Than Jeffrey Epstein

On Tuesday, President Trump took umbrage at a question about the Justice Department’s assertion that there are no Epstein tapes, there is no client list, and there is nothing more to be released. The Twitterverse has been brutal towards AG Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and his #2, Dan Bongino. Many people were saying they felt betrayed, given the fact that, before the election, we were told that the files would be released and the criminals held to account.

The president has a point. There is a lot going on in Washington. There are natural disasters with dozens dead across Texas. There are continuing ICE protests across the country. There are budgets that need to be attended to, as well as rogue judges who need to be corralled, and numerous conflicts outside our borders that need to be midwifed. And all of that besides the basic blocking and tackling of running the government and trying to advance the administration’s rather ambitious agenda. And taking the time to talk about some files from a guy who’s been dead for six years seems like it might distract from all of that.

But, you see, here’s the thing: People want answers that seem logical, that provide rational explanations to obvious questions, that provide proof that the speculation is wrong. This is particularly true when the people now saying there’s nothing there were the very people who promised that answers, transparency, and accountability would be coming when they won. Well, they won, and we’re getting the same obfuscation.

The truth is that, if this were just a matter of a senator cheating on his wife with a lobbyist for some industry he regulates, it wouldn’t really matter in the big picture. If this were some bureaucrat taking bribes to sign a service contract for some shipping company, nobody would really care. Sure, the first is an ethics question, and the second is illegal, but beyond the participants themselves, they aren’t very important in the grand scheme of things.

President Trump Says U.S. to Send More Weapons to Ukraine Just Days After Pentagon Warned of Depleted Stockpiles

In a whiplash reversal that has infuriated America-First conservatives, President Donald Trump now says the United States “has to” ship still more arms, missiles, and ammo to Ukraine — just days after the Pentagon froze deliveries because our own stockpiles are running dry.

Less than a week ago, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth halted Patriot interceptors, artillery shells, and precision missiles, citing “dangerously low” U.S. inventories.

The Trump Administration is withholding shipments promised by the Biden Regime after the Pentagon’s policy chief Elbridge Colby found the US’s stockpiles of munitions and air defense missiles are dangerously low.

Last September, the Biden Regime announced an eye-watering $8 billion in military aid for Ukraine during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington.

Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Congress has approved nearly $175 billion in aid and military assistance for Ukraine.

“Biden emptied out our whole country giving them weapons, and we have to make sure that we have enough for ourselves’, the president argued. ‘We’ve given so many weapons, but we are giving weapons, and we’re working with them and trying to help them,” Trump said.

Yet on Monday night, seated beside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump declared that Ukraine is being hit “very hard” and must receive more “defensive weapons.”

“We’re going to send some more weapons. We have to. They have to be able to defend themselves. They’re getting hit very hard now,” Trump told reporters.

“Defensive weapons, primarily, but they’re getting hit very, very hard. So many people are dying in that mess,” he added.

Netanyahu orders Israeli military to build massive concentration camp inside Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally ordered the Israeli military to create plans for the building of a giant concentration camp on the ruins of Rafah, where the population of Gaza would be moved in preparation for their forcible expulsion, Haaretz reported Wednesday.

The Israeli newspaper reported that Netanyahu made the order at a meeting of Israel’s security cabinet on Saturday, before he left for Washington to meet with US President Donald Trump.

Wednesday’s report by Haaretz adds to the growing mountain of evidence that Israel is actively moving ahead with its ethnic cleansing plan, despite the presentation in the US media that Trump and Netanyahu are seeking “peace” and a “ceasefire.”

Two days after Netanyahu ordered the military to start planning the concentration camp, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced preparations for what he called a “humanitarian city.” Katz stated that the Israeli military would patrol the camp, and that once inside, residents would not be allowed to leave. He also said that the building of the camp would be coordinated with “the emigration plan, which will happen.”

On the same day as the meeting with Trump, Netanyahu said the “relocation plan” was on Israel’s agenda, calling it a “brilliant vision.”

Only last week, Haaretz reported the existence of an internal briefing by the Israeli military that the “concentration and movement of the population” is an official goal of Israel.

In May, Netanyahu named the implementation of the “Trump plan” for ethnic cleansing as one of its official aims of the war.

Trump Admin Ends Taxpayer Subsidies For Illegal Aliens

The departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Education, Agriculture, Labor, and Justice are ending illegal aliens’ abilities to leech off the American taxpayer by taking advantage of federal programs.

The departments announced on Thursday that illegals will no longer be able to access the government programs, as they have been able to do since the Clinton administration. The Trump administration made the move to “ensure that taxpayer-funded program benefits intended for the American people are not diverted to subsidize illegal aliens,” HHS said in its announcement.

In doing so, the federal government rescinded a 1997 Dear Colleague letter that exempted such programs from being subject to the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA), which limits “federal public benefits” to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and some “qualified aliens.”

The Education Department said that the Clinton-era letter “mischaracterized the law by creating artificial distinctions between federal benefit programs based upon the method of assistance.”

The move brings various programs in line with an executive order signed by President Donald Trump called “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders.”

The White House said that the Department of Justice “is closing longstanding loopholes that have allowed illegal aliens to access taxpayer-funded benefits,” but did not go into more detail, and the department has not yet released more information.

One Year Later, Where is The Final FBI Investigation on The Trump Assassination Attempt?

Given the recent shift in reality by the nation’s top law enforcement agencies regarding whether there is or isn’t a “client list” of the late pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, it seems completely possible that law enforcement may report that the assassination attempt on President Trump never happened.

In the event there actually was an assassination attempt in Butler PA, resembling what American’s thought they saw, one can only wonder, on the one-year anniversary of the event, when the federal investigation will be released…if ever? The problem with the administration’s law enforcement is transparency. It’s been a year since the shooting and nothing, nada, zip, a big hole in a donut.

Given the lack of investigative information, it appears that there are an awful lot of people hell-bent on not releasing all the information about what occurred on July 13th in Butler, PA. Why? There sure is a lot of information that needs to be made public.

First, what we have gleaned from all the pathetic investigations provided by the U.S. Senate, the House Task Force, the Secret Service review and a Department of Homeland Security independent review is that the Secret Service dropped the ball. Yep. These geniuses spent time and big money to concluded what every American already knew. Congratulations.

Now, what we don’t know is anything about the alleged shooter and his family. Why? The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) apparently took the lead role in the investigation, yet the last “update” provided by the FBI was last August.

The American people are told that the FBI conducted extensive investigations, gaining access to the alleged shooter’s devices, searched his residence and reviewed digital media and video footage. That’s wonderful. Good job. Where’s the final report?

How bout the FBI release its final report of its investigation, including the complete ballistics report, all DNA and fingerprint information, all information relating to the alleged shooter’s phone (including tracking his pings the day of the shooting) and, of course, the mysterious autopsy report of the alleged shooter that Congressional Task Force Chair, Congressman Kelly, says the American people can’t handle.

Note to Congressman Kelly. The American people can handle it. In fact, the American people want the facts that so far are being withheld. In a nutshell, the American people want the truth.

The FBI final report should include all the above data which should cement that Thomas Matthew Crooks was, in fact, the shooter. So far, what has been released by the Congressional Task Force does not positively identify Crooks as the shooter as none of the collected and tested projectiles have been positively identified as coming from the alleged shooter’s alleged weapon. This is no small deal.

No information as to whether Crooks’s fingerprints and DNA were on the alleged weapon has been made public. There is no video showing Crooks as the person on the roof of the AGR building. Law enforcement says Crooks is the shooter, but there is no physical evidence supporting this statement.

Without Crooks’s autopsy, it’s impossible to know if the body that was cremated was actually Thomas Matthew Crooks. Furthermore, why didn’t the FBI release the phone records of Crooks and his father. Afterall, the public has been told that the father tried contacting his son all day. Well, let’s see the evidence of those calls. That’s physical evidence that’s as easy as it gets.

And how could his parents (both reportedly mental health experts) know that their son was acting strangely in his room but didn’t notice the bombs being made in the same room? Sound just a little strange to anyone?

And let’s not forget that the Pennsylvania State Police conducted its own investigation which just happens to be classified. Why? For God’s sake! Just provide the report and let the American people decide what happened. Is Corey Comperatore’s widow allowed to see the Pennsylvania State Police report or is she being forced to sue for it? Why?

Finally, any report that is released by the FBI must explain what happened to the White Van that police surrounded that evening on the outskirts of the rally grounds where explosives were found and the van was removed by police. Was there more than one alleged assassin? Who owned the van? What happened to the owner of the van? Why didn’t the owner return to the van? Where did the owner of the van get the explosives? Whose fingerprints were removed from the van?

There are a zillion other questions that need to be answered about what actually happened last July 13th in Butler PA. Just release the report and the American people can figure out whether it’s a competent investigation of just more stonewalling. But it’s time. It’s time for the Trump Administration to release the FBI investigation about the assassination attempt on then candidate Trump. The American people are smart and will know if it’s a twist in reality. After the Epstein debacle, the American people have their antenna up.

Donald Trump Said Epstein Files ‘Could Destroy People’—Bill O’Reilly

Bill O’Reilly, a former Fox host, said he had a conversation with President Donald Trump earlier this year about the Jeffrey Epstein files, which the president said could “destroy” innocent people.

On NewsNation’s Cuomo on Wednesday, O’Reilly said he had spoken with Trump “man to man, eye to eye” about the Epstein files on St. Patrick’s Day.

“He said, and I agree, there are a lot of names associated with Epstein that had nothing to do with Epstein’s conduct,” O’Reilly said in the interview.

“They maybe had lunch with him or maybe had some correspondence for one thing or another,” he added. “If that name gets out, those people are destroyed because there’s not going to be any context.”

Newsweek has contacted the White House for comment via an email sent outside regular business hours.

The Trump administration is facing mounting criticism from conservatives over the Justice Department’s decision not to release additional documents from the Epstein sex trafficking investigation.

The department said in a two-page memo on Monday that Epstein did not maintain a “client list” and had died by suicide. The memo said that no more files related to the investigation would be made public after a monthslong review of evidence in the government’s possession.

As Trump had suggested while campaigning for the White House that he would release documents related to the Epstein case, the DOJ’s announcement may deepen fissures between the president and his MAGA supporters.

The so-called ‘security lapses’ and circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt against Trump raise questions about how Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to pull everything off by himself.

Trump Allegedly Warned Putin, Xi That He Would Bomb Their Capitals: Report

President Donald Trump allegedly told a group of campaign donors at a fundraising event last year that he had separately warned the Russian and Chinese leaders that he would bomb their capitals if they invaded their neighbors, according to a leaked audio.

The audio, published by CNN on July 8, allegedly captures Trump’s remarks at a private fundraiser during the 2024 presidential election recounting conversations he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese regime leader Xi Jinping.

“With Putin, I said, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m going to bomb the [expletive] out of Moscow. I’m telling you I have no choice,’” Trump could be heard saying, according to the audio. “And then [Putin] goes, like, ‘I don’t believe you.’ But he believed me 10 percent.”

According to the audio, Trump later added that he had conveyed a similar warning to Xi over a potential Chinese invasion of Taiwan, a self-governing island that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) claims as a part of its territory.

“Then I’m with President Xi of China,” Trump said, per the audio. “I said the same thing to them. I said, you know, ‘If you go into Taiwan, I’m gonna bomb the [expletive] out of Beijing.’

“He thought I was crazy. He said, ‘Beijing!? You’re going to bomb [Beijing]?’

Antifa Is A Domestic Terror Group. The Trump Admin Should Treat It Like One

Months of violent left-wing anti-ICE rhetoric achieved its apparently desired end state this week as an alleged Antifa cell conducted an attempted assassination of police officers outside the Praireland Detention Center, being used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a detention facility for illegal aliens.

On July 4, 11 black-garbed individuals, some equipped with body armor, ammunition, and firearms, conducted what the Department of Justice described as a “planned ambush.” Two of the attackers allegedly opened fire on ICE officers after their comrades initiated a disturbance to lure officers out of the building and into the line of fire by launching fireworks and spray painting anti-ICE slogans on nearby property. A police officer was shot in the neck but is expected to live. According to the criminal complaint filed by the Department of Justice, pamphlets on insurrectionary anarchism and propaganda materials, including a “Resist Fascism” flag, were recovered by law enforcement.

The equipment, tactics, political literature, and target selection are all consistent with Antifa, short for Anti-Fascist Action, a networked movement of anarcho-communist groups that use violence against political opponents.

For a decade now, I have been a student of this network, its origins, and ideology. As I told the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution in 2020, Antifa is the direct linear descendant of the violent communist urban guerrilla movements of the 1970s like the Weather Underground.

Like its predecessors, which also began with campus protests and street riots, Antifa has over the past several years evolved to the use of bombings, especially firebombings targeting police vehicles, pregnancy resource centers, and more recently Tesla dealerships. And to this escalation, we can now add the planned ambush of federal officers.

This was a totally foreseeable development. As a 2021 German Ministry of the Interior report noted, Antifa and related left extremists were demonstrating:

…an obvious shift away from the ‘mass militancy’ of demonstrations and towards violent acts by small groups acting covertly. Their violence has shifted to the sidelines of gatherings or is entirely independent of these events.
