HYPOCRITE ALERT: Sen. Blumenthal Defends James Comey After Trump DOJ Finally Indicts the Corrupt Ex-FBI Boss — Admits Democrats Are Now Writing Legislation to Block Prosecutions of Their Allies

Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal, who infamously lied about serving in Vietnam, is going all-in as a radical activist on behalf of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey, who was just indicted by President Trump’s Department of Justice.

The very same Blumenthal who gleefully celebrated when Joe Biden’s weaponized DOJ tried to throw President Trump behind bars for the rest of his natural life is suddenly clutching his pearls over “malicious prosecution.”

During his CNN appearance with Erin Burnett, Blumenthal openly bragged about his plans to interfere with the DOJ’s case against Comey.

Blumenthal admitted that Senate Democrats are drafting legislation to give “remedies and rights” to political operatives like Comey who face prosecution, claiming America is on the “way to tyranny” because Trump’s DOJ dared to indict a Democrat’s ally.

Erin Burnett:
I want to ask you, in this context, what can you do right now as a Democratic senator about this?

Blumenthal:
“I can ask questions of the Department of Justice, which we will do. We can support colleagues and others on the Republican side who may be inclined—I hope they will be—to draw a line here and protest. Obviously, I have no role in court. I was a prosecutor for four and a half years as U.S. attorney in Connecticut. I also was attorney general for 20 years.

The most consequential decisions I made were whether to charge someone, because nobody ever fully recovers from those charges. A lot of people believe that an acquittal just means there was some technical issue.

I think it’s important to encourage the private bar to step up. Donald Trump made deals with a number of the major law firms in the country. They’ve got to rip them apart and say, enough is enough.

I would encourage attorneys in the Department of Justice to stand up for their conviction and conscience, as Eric Siebert did. He’s the U.S. attorney who resigned rather than bring those charges.

As a member of the United States Senate, I’m going to go to the floor of the Senate, I’m going to go to committee meetings, I’m going to speak privately, I’m going to protest, and I am going to seek legislation—we’re formulating it right now—that may well prevent some of this perversion of justice.

We are writing legislation that will give remedies and rights to people who are victims of malicious prosecution. We have to provide safeguards, because we’ve clearly seen how the ordinary norms are defined by this autocratic president. We’re on the way to tyranny if we’re permitted to go forward.”

Vance Slams Democrats, Media For ‘Encouraging Crazy People’ To ‘Commit Violence’

Vice President JD Vance called out “left-wing media” and Democrats, specifically naming Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-CA, for “encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence” in a speech in North Carolina Wednesday.

“The very people who keep us safe ought to be honored and protected and praised by Democrats and Republicans alike,” Vance said. “It is time to stop the rhetorical assault on law enforcement.”

Vance covered the Trump Administration’s fight against crime in Washington, D.C., and Charlie Kirk’s assassination earlier this month before addressing Wednesday’s shooting at the ICE facility in Dallas.

Vance said the shooting was politically motivated and was perpetrated by a “violent, left-wing extremist,” evidenced by the “anti-ICE” writing on a bullet and other information Vance said was not yet public.

Vance’s speech also referenced the NBC story that falsely accused ICE agents of using a 5-year-old girl as bait to arrest her father, as covered by The Federalist.

“Political violence has gotten out of control in this country. We’ve got to stop it. We’ve got to condemn it. And that starts, unfortunately, at the very top of the Democratic Party,” Vance said. “If you want to stop political violence, stop attacking our law enforcement as the Gestapo … stop telling your supporters that everybody who disagrees with you is a Nazi. If you want to stop political violence, look in the mirror.”

Keith Olbermann just sunk Dems with his ‘spin’ on Charlie Kirk’s assassination…

We all know Keith Olbermann is a certifiable lunatic. This man doesn’t have Stage 5 TDS; he’s at Stage 500. His Trump Derangement Syndrome is so extreme, scientists could study it and write books about it.

But even though Keith is 3 sheets to the wind with his hatred for Trump, you’d think he’d have at least a shred of humanity left, right?

Wrong.

Olbermann did the unthinkable and managed to drag the already drowning Dem Party down do to the bottom of the sea with his latest video. In it, he defends Charlie Kirk’s assassin, Tyler Robinson, claiming it was nothing more than one man protecting the dude he loves.

Sadly, this isn’t a joke. He actually said it out loud.

Grabien News:

OLBERMANN: “Now that we can say with some certainty that if Tyler Robinson indeed shot Charlie Kirk, he shot him for personal reasons, because he saw Kirk as a direct threat to somebody he loved, that Robinson was not a stochastic proxy murderer from Antifa or the groypers or the right wingers who had so recently called Kirk a fraud, you know, like Laura Loomer. It is then also clear that there is truly only one person whose words created, amplified, mainstreamed and manufactured this nightmarish environment that has led to Charlie Kirk’s death. The leading threat in this country in this moment to the safety and the lives of conservatives and Republicans and MAGA commentators and politicians and civilians is not George Soros and it’s not Antifa and it’s not a Democrat or a liberal, nor a socialist nor an immigrant nor a transgendered person. The leading threat in this country, in this moment, to the safety and the lives of conservatives and Republicans and MAGA is Donald Trump.”

NJ Man Secures Nearly 1 Million Documents From Detroit’s 2020 Election, Including Copies of Absentee Ballots and Signed Envelopes in One of Largest Election FOIA Hauls In U.S. History

TICK TOCK…Detroit election officials and Michigan’s dirty Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson have officially been put on notice.

After years of being gaslighted by some of the most dishonest people in election history, The Gateway Pundit, along with some of the most respected election investigators in the state, are about to blow the lid off the lies about Detroit’s “secure” 2020 election that helped to give Joe Biden an inexplicable victory in the must-win state of Michigan.

On Election Night 2020, President Donald J. Trump appeared to hold commanding leads in key battleground states — approximately 100,000 votes in Wisconsin, 300,000 in Michigan, and 700,000 in Pennsylvania. For Joe Biden to erase those margins, his performance in the outstanding vote would have needed to be dramatically stronger, particularly in heavily Democratic strongholds such as Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.

As the night wore on, reports emerged — often inconsistent — that some precincts had stopped counting, sent workers home, or restarted tabulations under unclear circumstances. To this day, there is confusion and disagreement over the extent of these pauses and whether any state laws or procedures were ignored in the process. What cannot be disputed is that vote totals from Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania continued to change throughout the night, long after many Americans had gone to bed.

By the early morning hours of November 4, Wisconsin had flipped blue, followed soon after by the must-win state of Michigan. Days later, Georgia and Pennsylvania flipped for Biden as well. For many observers, the abrupt turnarounds — combined with conflicting reports of election-night disruptions — fueled deep skepticism about the integrity and transparency of the process.

Michigan lawmakers and election integrity investigators have spent an untold number of hours and resources to prove the election in Detroit was rigged. To date, they have not been able to secure the documents needed to verify what they believe happened that led to an inexplicable victory for Joe Biden in the presidential race.

PA Governor Shapiro Says Kamala Harris ‘Is Going to Have to Answer’ for Covering Up Joe Biden’s Rapidly Declining Health

“Loyal” Kamala Harris, who hinted that Joe Biden was racist when she first threw her hat in the presidential race, slammed Biden in her new book and also discussed why she kept quiet about Joe’s obvious, rapidly declining health.

In an excerpt obtained by The Atlantic from her upcoming memoir, ‘107 Days,’ Harris calls Biden’s decision to run for a second term ‘reckless’ and says it should not have been “left to an individual’s ego” or “ambition.”

Writing about her decision not to try to convince Biden to drop out, Harris writes, “’It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.’ We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized. Was it grace, or was it recklessness?”

“In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high.”

“This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.”

He typical word salad was not enough for Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) who said Harris “is going to have to answer” for being honest with the American people and letting the public know about Biden’s fitness to serve in the White House again.

Shapiro joined Stephen A. Smith on Thursday.

Former Texas DEMOCRAT House Candidate Charged in ELECTION FRAUD Investigation

Texas authorities have uncovered what appears to be one of the largest vote harvesting scandals in recent years, with fifteen individuals—including a former Texas House candidate and several local officials—facing criminal charges.

The indictments, handed down on June 30, mark the latest chapter in a months-long investigation led by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the 81st Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

According to KSAT, seven of the accused turned themselves in to the Frio County Jail on July 2, while others are expected to follow.

Those indicted include names familiar in South Texas politics. Juan Manuel Medina, the former Bexar County Democrat Party Chair and one-time San Antonio mayoral candidate, was charged with two counts of vote harvesting.

Petra Davina Trevino, former mayor of Pearsall, faces a single charge. Inelda Rodriguez, a former Dilley council member, was indicted on three counts.

Mary Ann Obregon, a former mayor of Dilley, was charged with two counts.

Perhaps most notable is Cecilia Castellano, a former Democrat candidate for the Texas House, who now faces two counts of vote harvesting.

Castellano ran in 2024 for District 80, which stretches from the southwest of San Antonio to Laredo.

She lost the general election but carried Webb County, a region her campaign heavily targeted.

Her attorney, Don Flanary, quickly dismissed the charges as “politically motivated harassment by Ken Paxton and the AG’s office,” insisting the statute itself is under legal challenge.

Other individuals charged include Rachel Leal, who claims she only left flyers at homes and never handled ballots, as well as Raul Carrizales III, a sitting Frio County Commissioner.

Maricela Garcia Benavides, secretary of the Pearsall ISD Board, was also named.

This is not the first wave of arrests.

Democrats Claim Racism as New Maps Force Them Out of Texas Strongholds

The Democrat stronghold in Texas is collapsing, and their own lawmakers are now turning on each other.

After Republicans passed new congressional maps—pushed at the request of President Donald Trump—Democrats now face the reality of fewer safe seats and the possibility of political extinction in key parts of the state.

Representative Lloyd Doggett, one of Austin’s longest-serving Democrats, has already announced he will step aside if the new maps hold.

His exit would clear a path for Greg Casar, but it also highlights the brutal truth: Democrats don’t have enough blue districts to go around anymore.

The biggest shakeup is in Houston.

Representative Al Green, who has represented the 9th District since 2005, saw his district effectively redrawn.

Only 5% of his old base remains. Most of it was folded into the new District 18, once held by Sheila Jackson Lee and Sylvester Turner.

With a special election scheduled, Green is expected to jump into that race—but he’ll be battling other Democrats in what is now a three-seat squeeze.

Houston went from having four Democrat seats to three, guaranteeing that at least one Democrat seat is now vacant.

Dallas-Fort Worth Democrats face the same disaster.

Marc Veasey of Fort Worth has been pushed into Dallas, where Julie Johnson already sits.

Her district, however, is now heavily Republican, meaning she must either take on Veasey or run a suicide campaign.

Meanwhile, Jasmine Crockett survives unscathed in her district, and Republicans like Beth Van Duyne stand ready to pick up the pieces.

Democrats have responded with lawsuits.

The NAACP, LULAC, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law claim the maps discriminate against minorities.

But this playbook is nothing new. Back in the 1990s, Democrats used redistricting to carve out majority-Black and majority-Hispanic districts for political gain.

Jasmine Crockett Answers Bash On Cooling Down Rhetoric — By Trashing Kirk And Painting Trump As Hitler

After CNN anchor Dana Bash on Sunday played clips of Rep. Jasmine Crockett calling President Donald Trump an “enemy to the United States” and comparing him to Hitler, the Texas Democrat doubled down.

Even after Trump faced two assassination attempts, Crockett called the president a “wannabe Hitler” during a July interview on MSNBC. Bash asked Crockett on “State of the Union” if she had “a responsibility” to cool down her rhetoric, but she said she did not and that the president was using Hitler’s “playbook.”

“I think that my responsibility is to be transparent and to be honest. And the reality is that we are living in a time in which this administration and this regime is not interested in making sure that people understand history,” Crockett said. “We need to understand why they are so problematic.”

“So I am using that language because it is accurate language,” she continued, saying Trump’s policies are “a playbook out of Hitler and I won’t deny it! Like, these are the facts.”

Crockett also insisted Trump has repeatedly “called specifically for violence” before turning her ire on slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, not for the first time in the interview — which took place while his memorial was getting underway in Arizona.

“We know that Charlie Kirk was saying things about who should live and who should die. I have never said those kinds of things,” she claimed without evidence.

Crockett continued to rant in a heated manner for over two minutes without Bash interrupting once.

Shortly after Kirk’s Sept. 10 assassination, Crockett similarly justified calling Trump a “wannabe Hitler” on “The Breakfast Club” in an interview published Sept. 12.

“Me disagreeing with you, me calling you a wannabe Hitler, all those things are like not necessarily saying ‘Go out and hurt somebody.’ But when you’re literally telling people at rallies, ‘Yeah, beat him up’ and that kind of stuff, like you are promoting like a culture of violence,” Crockett said.

Lawsuit: Children of LGTBQ+ Advocate Sen. Ron Wyden Allegedly Drove Assistant to Suicide with Homophobic Taunts

A lawsuit alleges that the children of U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) harassed their mother’s personal assistant with homophobic taunts and “sexually explicit” comments, driving him to suicide.

Details of the lawsuit, reported by the New York Post, present a stark contrast to the record of Sen. Wyden, who has been a longtime advocate in Congress in support of gay, lesbian, and transgender issues.

For two years, ending in 2024, thirty-five-year-old Brandon O’Brien worked for Nancy Bass Wyden, the senator’s wife and owner of Strand Bookstore in Manhattan.

O’Brien’s tasks included driving the couple’s young children to school in New York City and watching them at Disney World, according to the Post.

The lawsuit was filed by O’Brien’s husband, Thomas Maltezos, against Bass Wyden and her company, Bass Real Estate LLC, in Manhattan’s Superior Court.

It alleges the disturbing behavior by the couple’s kids began about three months after O’Brien took the job in 2022, when the couple’s ten-year-old daughter “exposed herself” to the assistant and made explicit comments as she asked him about his “intimate” life.

Maltezos alleges in the suit that the mom did nothing about the incident.

Additionally, Wydens’ teenage son berated O’Brien with homophobic slurs such as “faggot” and “zest kitten,” the suit claims. The boy also allegedly threatened that his football team would “rape” the assistant.

The son’s behavior was so out of control that his mom once had to “mace” her son, but inadvertently maced O’Brien in the process, according to court papers.

Calling the lawsuit “baseless and deeply misguided,” lawyers for Bass Wyden have sought to have Maltezos’ lawsuit dismissed, court records show. They contend it is a cover for O’Brien’s own “serious misconduct,” allegedly a “pattern of theft” from the household.

When O’Brien finally quit in frustration a year ago, Bass Wyden, 64, filed a report with the NYPD the next day, “accusing him of stealing $650,000 in credit card and other thefts, authorities said.”

That began a pattern of harassment by the prominent businesswoman who allegedly spread “false rumors” about him, the suit alleges.

O’Brien committed suicide in late May, seven months after he left the job. Authorities dropped the theft case after the suicide. Lawyers for Maltezos argued the accusation was false.

“The allegations against the senator’s wife are shocking, disturbing, and cruel — no person should ever be subject to this level of harassment, much less in the workplace,” Maltezos’ attorneys said in a statement.

Sen. Ron Wyden, 76, was elected to Congress in 1981, and he married Bass Wyden in 2005. “The couple has three kids in addition to Ron Wyden’s two adult children from his first marriage,” according to the Post.

The Post reported that “the senator and his wife have a home in Portland,” but Bass Wyden’s social media shows she visits New York to attend to the business her family founded 98 years ago.

Sen. Wyden, a progressive Democrat, has been a frequent critic of President Donald Trump over immigration, the Epstein case, and DOGE staffing cuts.

Ironically, considering the lawsuit and his children’s alleged homophobic statements, in late 1995, Wyden became the first U.S. Senate candidate to publicly support same sex marriage.

He also introduced a bill in June calling for sanctions on foreign countries that violate “human rights of LGBTQI+ communities” around the world.

He most recently garnered widespread television coverage battling with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. at an oversight hearing this month.

During the hearing Wyden claimed that “every day” Kennedy has been in office, he has taken action that “endangers the health and welfare of American families.”

AOC Becomes De Facto House Minority Leader

Before last Friday’s House vote on a symbolic resolution condemning the assassination of Charlie Kirk and all forms of political violence while honoring his life, the purported leaders of the Democratic Caucus informed its members that they would support the measure. Yet, in a truly vile floor speech prior to the vote, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y) called the resolution “reckless” and claimed Kirk’s “rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.” In the end, less than half of the Democrats voted for the resolution. The rest stood with AOC.

This atrocity occurred after Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Whip Katherine Clark and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar released the following statement: “We will vote yes on H.Res.719 which is on the floor today … Political violence against anyone for any reason at any time is not acceptable.” This moved only 95 Democrats to vote for the resolution. As for the rest, 58 voted “Nay,” 38 voted “present” and 22 didn’t bother to vote. The resolution passed because 215 Republicans votes took the total “Yeas” to 310. What does this say about the Democrats? AOC holds greater sway over their caucus than its elected leader.

The far left faction of the Democrat House Caucus has metastasized dramatically. Just a few years ago, it was a small, obnoxious minority. Now, it constitutes the majority. Contrast Friday’s disgraceful vote to the vote on H.Res.519 last June. That resolution condemned the murder of Minnesota state legislator Melissa Hortman and purported to “reaffirm our commitment to a safe, civil, and peaceful democracy.” The measure passed unanimously. Yet, somehow, the Democrat commitment to a safe, civil, and peaceful democracy is not quite strong enough to protect Charlie Kirk from being posthumously slandered by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.):

What I find jarring is that there’s so many people willing to excuse the most reprehensible things that he said, that they agree with that, that they’re willing to have monuments for him, that they want to create a day to honor him, and that they want to produce resolutions … I am not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind, that should be in the dustbin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day.

The above diatribe was Omar’s response to a question from CNN’s Kaitlin Collins about the well-deserved criticism she has received for comparing Charlie Kirk to “Dr. Frankenstein” and extending the moronic metaphor by saying, “His monster shot him through the neck.” This was, of course, a classic case of “victim blaming” and she is clearly unrepentant. Omar and AOC are typical of the far left ideologues who now dominate the Democrat Caucus in the House. Another example is Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), who presided over the House investigation of the J6 “insurrection.” Below is an excerpt from his statement about the Charlie Kirk resolution:

Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric was divisive, disparaging, and too often rooted in grievance. The beliefs he evangelized normalized fringe views on race, sex, and immigration. Unfortunately, his rhetoric resurrected dangerous prejudices of a dark past … I cannot in good conscience honor someone who demeaned women, immigrants, and Black Americans, and who even questioned the very foundation of civil rights progress in this country. This resolution is intentionally written to be divisive.

Like the outrageous claims made by AOC and Omar, Johnson’s assertions about Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric and motives are pure fiction. That he is willing to say such things about a young man who was so recently murdered is utterly reprehensible. More important than such repugnant smears, however, is the very real possibility that the Democrats could win a majority in the House of Representatives in the 2026 midterms. Because far left demagogues like AOC, Omar, and Johnson now dominate the Democrat Caucus, this is genuinely terrifying. The improbable lesson these people have “learned” from their 2024 defeat is that they need to move to the left.
