WA Party-Line Power Grab: House Democrats Approve Bill to Remove Elected Sheriffs They Hate

Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank is raising concerns about a new Washington state bill that would allow for the decertification of sheriffs, arguing the proposal could shift power away from voters and give state officials authority to remove elected law enforcement leaders from office.

Swank addressed the issue while discussing how the legislation could affect the position of county sheriffs across Washington. He said the measure could create a pathway for political authorities to remove sheriffs who were elected by local voters.

“My big concern is it takes away the right of the people to elect their sheriff,” Swank said.

Swank said he believes the bill could be used as a political tool by state officials to influence who serves as sheriff in counties across Washington.

“This is a weapon used by the Democrats to be able to control the sheriff’s Democrats control, as you know, the State House, the State Senate, every statewide elected official is a Democrat,” Swank said. “They control every single thing here in the state, except for sheriffs.”

According to Swank, the legislation would allow state authorities to decertify a sheriff and remove that person from office, after which a replacement could be appointed.

“And now the passage of this bill, they believe they’ll be able to control sheriffs. They’ll be able to decertify them, remove them from office, appoint the people they want to have in those positions, and then they have complete control over everybody,” Swank said.

Democrats’ War On Election Integrity Exposes Their Dirty Secret

During last week’s contentious hearing of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, Delaware Sen. Chris Coons asked then-Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, with great concern, “Will you rule out the deployment of ICE or CBP officers to polling places this November?”

The secretary’s answer was sharp and to the point. “Do you plan on illegal aliens voting in our elections?”

Once again, Democrats are saying the quiet part out loud. The people who have told us for years that illegal aliens never vote, and that voter fraud doesn’t exist, are terrified of anyone actually checking to see if that is true.

Sen. Coons’ fears are echoed by former Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, who said in a recent X post, “Senate Dems need to put into the approps bill a prohibition on ICE agents being near polling places. This is a must-have.”

And just days after achieving a trifecta in state government, Virginia Democrats introduced legislation to do exactly what Inslee said — never mind that it’s completely unconstitutional.

If you’re an American with a job and a family, you’re probably scratching your head and asking, why is it the “last chance?” What is the governor talking about? Why are Democrats keeping immigration officers away from polling places? Here is where it gets even stranger and more suspicious.

When President Obama was elected in 2008, many Democratic ruling class figures came to believe that they would inevitably win every election in the future, no matter what they did, because of changing demographics. That hypothesis has been thoroughly refuted by the unprecedented MAGA movement and even repudiated by its own authors.

Nevertheless, the idea swept the Democratic Party like a fever, and it largely explains its sprint to the far left ever since. It also explains the Biden-era policy of letting millions of illegal immigrants into the United States. The last generation of Democrats bet big on immigration, not persuasion or popular policy, winning them elections.

Democrats claim that illegal aliens don’t vote, yet when the Trump administration asks to check voter rolls, Democrats refuse. When the Trump administration asks to see who blue states give Medicaid to, they refuse. When the Trump administration tries to deport violent criminals here illegally, Democrats refuse. It is an unsettling pattern of behavior.

The urgency from Democrats spanning Washington, D.C. to Washington state is another sign that President Trump’s policies and executive enforcement of the law are working. Last year, we saw international immigration cut in half, a decline in the foreign-born population by nearly two million, and millions of prospective illegal aliens deciding simply not to come to America. It’s a reversal of the trend Democrats have come to rely on for electoral relevance.

Kennedy Heir Running For Congress Lists Trust Funds, No Earned Income

Financial disclosure documents tied to congressional candidate Jack Schlossberg show the Kennedy family heir reported no earned income in 2025, while listing four family trust funds as financial assets.

Schlossberg, the only grandson of President John F. Kennedy, is running for the Democratic nomination in New York’s 12th Congressional District, the seat being vacated by longtime Rep. Jerry Nadler.

The disclosure filings, required for federal candidates, offer a glimpse into the finances of one of the country’s most prominent political heirs as he attempts to enter elective office for the first time.

According to the filing highlighted in the report, Schlossberg did not report any “earned income” for 2025, meaning he listed no wages or salary from employment during that year.

Instead, the disclosure lists four separate trust funds tied to the Kennedy family fortune. Trust income is categorized differently from wages or salary under federal financial disclosure rules.

Trust funds are commonly used among wealthy families to hold investments and distribute income to beneficiaries over time.

Financial disclosures submitted by congressional candidates typically list assets, liabilities and income sources, though they often report ranges rather than exact figures.

Democrat Mayor of San Francisco Slowly Walks Away as His Security Team Violently Attacked; Officer Left with Severe Head Injury

San Francisco’s Democrat Mayor Daniel Lurie calmly walked away as his security team was violently attacked on the street in the Tenderloin District on Thursday evening.

One San Francisco officer assigned to Lurie’s security detail was bleeding from his head after he was bodyslammed.

Lurie was not injured.

According to Mission Local, Lurie “hopped out” of his SUV to confront the three people who were standing in the street and blocking his vehicle.

The officer instructed the men to move out of the street when one of the men came at him.

The officer tried to fend off the attacker and grabbed his arm. The suspect slammed the officer to the ground.

Two suspects were arrested.

Mission Local reported:

Mayor Daniel Lurie’s police security detail was attacked at the edge of the Tenderloin on Thursday evening just before 6 p.m., according to witnesses and a video obtained by Mission Local.

The mayor was unharmed. One unidentified San Francisco police officer, who was part of Lurie’s security team and was in the black SUV used to ferry Lurie around alongside the mayor and his driver, was left bleeding from the back of his head.

He panted as he spoke to Mission Local and gave a statement to fellow police officers who responded to the scene.

The officer said that three people blocked the car shortly prior to the attack, and that Lurie “hopped out” to ask them to move. They began to “comply,” the officer told his fellow cops, but, at some point, one man began “talking gibberish.”

The officer then intervened and asked the man to move out of the way. The man did at first, but then came at him, he told officers.

The officer held onto the man’s upper body and then “fell back” with the man on top of him, and hit his head on the pavement as he fell.

The Story Surrounding Seth Moulton’s Illegal Immigrant State of the Union Guest May Have Gotten Worse

Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton possibly committed a crime when he brought an illegal immigrant to President Trump’s State of the Union address on February 24, and then hid the illegal immigrant — Marcelo Gomes daSilva — in his office when daSilva’s presence was made known. ICE arrested daSilva last May.

But the plot now thickens. 

The Milford Police shared information that daSilva was reportedly mentioned in police reports involving “sexual assault and juveniles.”

Congressman Seth Moulton’s illegal immigrant guest during the State of the Union address is referenced in police reports involving sexual assault and juveniles, police say.

The Herald submitted a public records request to the Secretary of State’s Office and the Milford Police Department regarding two reports, one from June and the other from September of 2021, where Marcelo Gomes da Silva was apparently named as the person of interest.

The Herald sought the police report numbered 21-23101 dated 9/15/2021 featuring Marcelo Gomes da Silva and 21-16254 dated 6/30/21 also featuring the 19-year-old.

Milford Deputy Chief John Sanchioni denied both of those requests, indicating that the police report from June 2021 “involves a sexual assault and juveniles,” and that the report from September 2021 “involves juveniles.” He did not elaborate.

Kamala Harris Busts Out Fake Accent, Delivers Politically Divisive Message at Jesse Jackson’s Funeral

Former Presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden attended Jesse Jackson’s memorial service in Chicago, Illinois.

Hillary Clinton and Jill Biden were also in attendance.

‘Reverend’ Jesse Jackson passed away last month at the age of 84 after a battle with progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurodegenerative disorder.

Like Barack Obama, failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris delivered a politically divisive message at Jesse Jackson’s funeral.

Kamala Harris’s fake accent is back.

“Let me just say I predicted a lot about what’s happening right now. I’m not into saying I told you so but we did see it coming,” Harris said.

“But what I did not predict is that we would not have Jesse Jackson with us right now to help us get through this,” she said.

Barack Obama trashed the Trump Administration and turned Jesse Jackson’s funeral into a political circus.

“Everywhere we see greed and bigotry being celebrated, and bullying and mockery masquerading as strength,” Obama said.

“We see science and expertise denigrated while ignorance and dishonesty and cruelty and corruption are reaping untold rewards,” Obama said.

“Every single day we see that, and it’s hard to hope,” he said.

New Jersey Democrat Assemblywoman Sponsors Vulgar ‘F**K ICE’ Bill to Sue Federal Immigration Agents

Democrat New Jersey Assemblywoman Katie Brennan has co-sponsored a bill called the “Fight Unlawful Conduct and Keep Individuals and Communities Empowered Act,” or “F-CK ICE” Act.

The legislation aims to make it easier for individuals to file civil lawsuits against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents for alleged constitutional violations during immigration enforcement operations.

A video clip of Brennan promoting the bill has gone viral on X, as conservatives blast it and the unhinged left cheers.

In the footage, Brennan smirks while explaining the bill’s “spicy name” and its serious intent to “sue the hell out of ICE” for what she calls unlawful conduct.

“Because right now, it’s really hard to hold them accountable or to press any criminal charges despite all of their unlawful conduct,” Brennan says in the video. “No, we’re gonna sue the hell out of them if we can.”

The bill was introduced on February 24 and is co-sponsored by Brennan and Assemblyman Ravi Bhalla, the former mayor of Hoboken.

An identical version has been introduced in the Senate.

According to the official summary from the New Jersey Legislature, the act “permits civil action for violations of US Constitution related to immigration enforcement.”

It would allow New Jersey residents to sue federal immigration officials in state courts for monetary damages, including punitive and psychological damages, attorney’s fees, and other relief if their constitutional rights are violated.

The bill requires the use of body-worn cameras and the provision of identification upon request by agents.

Brennan, a first-term assemblywoman representing parts of Hudson County including Jersey City, has defended the bill’s name and purpose.

In statements reported by NJ.com, she said the measure “speaks for itself,” adding, “There have to be real consequences if ICE breaks the law.”

The Ridgewood Blog, a conservative New Jersey outlet, called it “a new low for the Garden State,” pointing out that ICE agents in New Jersey recently arrested migrants with convictions for child-sex crimes.

The bill has been referred to the Assembly Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee, with a potential vote expected soon before heading to Governor Mikie Sherrill’s desk.

Vulnerable House Dem lashes out at Trump’s ‘racist’ SOTU challenge: ‘That was uncomfortable’

Rep. Janelle Bynum, D-Ore., called a challenge from President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address “racist” when he asked listeners to stand if they agreed the U.S. should prioritize the safety of its own citizens over illegal aliens.

“If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support,” Trump said.

“The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”

Democrats remained seated for over a minute and a half as the Republican side of the chamber burst into prolonged applause.

After the address, Bynum, who is on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s list of vulnerable Dem incumbents, said the moment made her uneasy.

“I think you can agree with the ‘what’ — like standing up for American citizens,” Bynum said. “But I disagree with the ‘how.’

“There’s thinly veiled racist language, anti-immigrant language in what he was asking, and that was uncomfortable.”

Bynum’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on how Trump’s challenge had asked lawmakers to discriminate on the basis of race.

Virginia Democrats Move To Require Teaching Jan. 6th As An “Insurrection”

Virginia Democrats are moving to require teachers to tell students that Jan. 6th was an “insurrection” and effectively bar them from referencing “peaceful protests” or election irregularities. The characterization of the riot as an insurrection is historically and legally false. However, any parents who want to send their children to Virginia public schools would have to accept this form of indoctrination as part of their children’s education.

In the last election, Democrats campaigned as moderates, including Abigail Spanberger.

Once in control of the Governor’s mansion and the legislature, however, they have moved quickly to the far left in a flurry of measures. Democratic legislators just voted themselves almost a 300% increase in salaries.  They will need it. They are moving to increase taxes on ride shares, concerts, counseling, leaf blowers, Amazon deliveries, DoorDash, Uber Eats, ammunition, and other areas.

However, HB 333, drafted by Del. Dan I. Helmer of Fairfax, raises serious concerns over academic freedom and free speech.

The summary of the bill mandates “a program of instruction on or relating to the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the United States Capitol” and further:

“prohibits any such program of instruction, any accompanying curriculum or instructional materials, or any instruction provided by a teacher as a part of such program of instruction from (i) describing, portraying, or presenting as credible a description or portrayal of the actions precipitating or involved in the January 6, 2021, insurrection as peaceful protest or (ii) stating, suggesting, or presenting as credible a statement or suggestion that there was extensive election fraud that could have changed or actually changed the results of the 2020 presidential election. The bill requires any such program of instruction, any accompanying curriculum or instructional materials, or any instruction provided by a teacher as a part of such program of instruction to describe the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the United States Capitol as an unprecedented, violent attack on U.S. democratic institutions, infrastructure, and representatives for the purpose of overturning the results of the 2020 presidential election.”

Soon after Jan. 6th, I condemned the riot but rejected the argument that this was an insurrection. However, it soon became part of an orthodoxy in politics and academia despite the fact that the public rejected it. As former House Speaker Pelosi declared, “It is essential that we preserve the narrative of January 6th.”

Yet, “insurrection” and “sedition” are legal terms. They have a meaning. The FBI investigated thousands after January 6th and charged hundreds. Not one was charged with insurrection or conspiracy to overthrow the country. The vast majority are charged with relatively minor offenses of trespass or unlawful entry or property damage- the type of charges that are common in protests and riots.

Indeed, the Supreme Court effectively reduced many of the charges to mere trespass in later litigation, rejecting obstruction claims.

Faced with a collapsing historical and legal narrative, Democrats are now moving to simply indoctrinate students that this was an “insurrection.”
