DEVELOPING: FBI Raids Home of Far-Left Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent

The FBI executed a search warrant at the home of far-left Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho.

FBI agents also raided the school district headquarters.

“FBI LA confirms they are currently executing search warrants at two addresses, which a separate federal law enforcement source tells @FoxNews are the home and office of Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. LAUSD is the 2nd biggest school district in the country,” Fox News reporter Bill Melugin said.

“We are told the underlying affidavit in support of the search warrant is under seal, so it’s unclear what potential wrongdoing Carvalho may be suspected of,” Melugin said.

Mexico’s Sheinbaum Weighs Legal Action After Musk Alleges Cartel Ties

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said she is considering legal action after tech billionaire Elon Musk alleged on social media that she was taking orders from drug cartels.

Speaking at a Feb. 24 news conference in Mexico City, Sheinbaum said government lawyers were reviewing the matter.

“We’re considering whether to take some legal action,” she said.

“The lawyers are looking into it, but what matters to me is what the people say, honestly.”

Musk’s allegation of Sheinbaum’s cartel subservience followed the capture and killing of Jalisco New Generation Cartel (JNGC) leader Nemesio Oseguera, known as “El Mencho,” by Mexican security forces.

In his post on X, Musk responded to a 2025 video of Sheinbaum discussing cartel violence and saying that returning to a war against the cartels is “not an option” because it would mean extrajudicial killings that are “outside the framework of the law.” She added that military force against the cartels would also be counterproductive because it would trigger retaliatory violence that would only “increase homicides in Mexico.”

Responding to those remarks, Musk alleged that she was “saying what her cartel bosses tell her to say.”

“Let’s just say that their punishment for disobedience is a little worse than a ‘performance improvement plan,’” Musk wrote.

He did not provide evidence to support his claims.

Sheinbaum could face difficulty suing Musk for defamation in the United States because of strong legal protections for free speech. To prevail, she would need to show that Musk knowingly made a false statement or acted with reckless disregard for the truth.

Tesla, Musk’s auto company, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

OUTRAGEOUS: Florida House Democrats Oppose Bill Honoring TPUSA Founder Charlie Kirk — Insist He Was “Not Assassinated,” but Died from “Gun Violence”

The radical Left’s hatred for conservative heroes apparently follows them even to the grave.

In a disgusting display of partisan spite, Florida House Democrats spent Wednesday afternoon attempting to block a bill that would honor the late Turning Point USA founder and conservative icon Charlie Kirk.

Despite Kirk being gunned down in cold blood while exercising his First Amendment rights at a rally in Utah last September, Florida Democrats took to the floor to argue that the man who inspired millions of young patriots was “mediocre” and, wait for it, was not actually “assassinated.”

Instead, these radical lawmakers insisted that the targeted political killing of a prominent conservative leader should merely be classified as “gun violence.”

The bill, HB 125, which designates October 14 as “Charlie Kirk Day of Remembrance,” was sponsored by Rep. Yvette Benarroch (R-Marco Island).

Benarroch described the bill as a tribute to a man who “encouraged a generation to read the Constitution and love this great country.”

The measure cleared the chamber by a vote of 82–31, with nearly all opposition coming from Democrats.

But during committee deliberations, Florida House Democrats took issue with language describing Kirk’s death as an assassination, instead insisting it should be categorized more broadly as an act of “gun violence.”

Democrat State Rep. Ashley Viola Gantt openly objected to the bill’s wording.

“We want to talk about the exercise of free speech. Let’s ball.

The First Amendment protects free speech. We don’t need this day of remembrance for a man who was mediocre and racist—I say mediocre at best. He was not a Floridian. He had no ties to Florida other than owning property. We have a number of Floridians—both individuals and organizations—that promote free speech that is not divisive like this individual was.

If we want to talk about free speech, let’s talk about being precise with our words. When we hear “assassination,” that’s typically related to a person in a political position. Charlie Kirk died from gun violence. We continuously advocate for gun policy—legislation that would ensure that people who probably shouldn’t have a gun don’t have a gun.

Was his passing tragic for those who loved him? Absolutely. There is no denying that. But he was not assassinated, and words being accurate matters. It was a death by gun violence. That is an issue here in the country that we should all be on the same page about addressing.

And if we want to talk about free speech, a lot of people say, “That was some white-on-white crime.” Why aren’t we addressing it in that regard? What are we doing about white-on-white crime? So, Charlie Kirk was not someone whom children in the state of Florida should be subjected to honoring.”

Focus Group Member on Democrats at SOTU: ‘They Gave a Middle Finger to the Oath of Office They Took’

Today on the Will Cain Show, a focus group made up of voters of varying backgrounds reacted to Trump’s State of the Union address.

One member, a young woman named Ajua Mason, who is a Republican, reacted to the behavior of Democrats during the speech by saying that they “gave a middle finger to the oath of office that they took.”

It’s really a perfect description of what the Democrats did. It was a disgusting display on multiple levels.

WILL CAIN, FOX NEWS HOST: Democrats, but do you think there’s anything deeper to the fact that they would not stand in that moment when they were describing the job of an American congressman?

TAMMY WOODARD, REPUBLICAN VOTER: I do. I think it’s shameful that they wouldn’t stand. I mean, what is their job but to represent us and our interests first above anything else? And to not be able to just stand for that, it’s, it’s just wrong. It doesn’t make them look good.

AJUA MASON, REPUBLICAN VOTER: The way I viewed it last night watching it is that they gave a middle finger to the oath of office that they, that they took. In fact, their new oath of office is oppose Trump on anything, on any situation. The one thing that they seem to want to come together on is to oppose Trump. Trump could find a cure for cancer and they would, they would find a reason to disagree with it.

CAIN: Yeah.

MASON: And I don’t know if that is just their strategy to get them through the midterm or whatever, but I think that if, if it’s just about opposing Trump, I don’t think that the people that elected them sent them there to do that. Number one, it is about the American people first. You got to take care of home. You got to take care of your family before you can take care of, or try to help to take care of someone else’s.

At least 10 FBI staffers who worked on Mar-a-Lago documents case are fired, sources say

At least 10 FBI employees who worked on former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into President Trump’s retention of classified records after he left the White House in 2021 were fired on Wednesday, multiple sources told CBS News.

The firings came after Reuters reported that the FBI had subpoenaed records of phone calls made by FBI Director Kash Patel and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles when they were still both private citizens as part of Smith’s probe into Trump.

The Reuters article quoted Patel, who alleged that the FBI had secretly subpoenaed his phone records “using flimsy pretexts and burying the entire process in prohibited case files designed to evade all oversight.” The Reuters article added that it had not independently verified any of Patel’s claims.

Patel did not provide any evidence of wrongdoing by the staff who were terminated.

Special Counsel Jack Smith oversaw two federal probes into now-President Trump. One case alleged he unlawfully tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, while the other focused on his retention of classified documents and efforts to obstruct the Justice Department when it asked him to return the files.

All of the FBI agents and analysts who were fired on Wednesday were involved with the classified documents case.

CBS News confirmed with a source familiar with the matter that Wiles’ records were reviewed as part of the documents case, but was unable to verify whether Patel’s were. In the case involving the 2020 election, known as Arctic Frost, Patel’s records were not subpoenaed, the source added.

CBS News has reached out to the FBI for comment.

The FBI Agents Association, which represents current and former agents, condemned the firings in a statement, saying they violate FBI employees’ due process rights.

“These actions weaken the Bureau by stripping away critical expertise and destabilizing the workforce, undermining trust in leadership and jeopardizing the Bureau’s ability to meet its recruitment goals—ultimately putting the nation at greater risk,” the group said.

Smith’s dual investigations into Mr. Trump led to the first federal criminal indictments against a former president in U.S. history. The classified document charges were dismissed by a federal judge in Florida in mid-2024 on the grounds that Smith was unlawfully appointed, and Smith dropped the 2020 election charges after Mr. Trump won the 2024 race.

Since then, the Trump administration has taken aim at federal employees who worked on the two cases. The Justice Department fired a group of prosecutors who worked on Smith’s team, and the FBI has fired agents involved in the Arctic Frost election investigation.

Report: Jasmine Crockett Event Escorts Atlantic Reporter Out, Campaign Called Capitol Police on CNN Journalist

National media coverage of Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s Texas Senate campaign has led to direct confrontations with journalists, including the removal of an Atlantic reporter from a rally and a call to Capitol Police over a CNN reporter’s visit to a campaign office.

Semafor shared that security personnel directed Atlantic reporter Elaine Godfrey to leave a campaign rally for Rep. Jasmine Crockett in Texas on Monday. The outlet wrote that Godfrey has reported on Crockett in depth and that the coverage appeared to “frustrate” the congresswoman. Crockett had previously agreed to participate in a profile with the reporter last year, but later informed her that she was “shutting down the profile and revoking all provisions” before the story ran.

In a statement first shared with Semafor, Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg remarked, “In a democracy, elected officials answer questions from the press rather than hide from them. This is completely unacceptable behavior by Rep. Crockett and her team, and needs to be addressed immediately.” 

Semafor further noted that earlier this month Crockett’s campaign contacted the U.S. Capitol Police regarding CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere, asserting he may have trespassed while attempting to visit a campaign office location. 

The developments raise broader questions about transparency and accountability given that Crockett is an elected official.  In December, after launching her Senate campaign, Crockett dodged questions during a CNN interview about her 2024 comments comparing Latino Trump supporters to slaves. When asked whether she believed Latino Trump voters had a “slave mentality,” she said that was not what the remarks meant but did not directly answer whether she stood by the comparison, instead arguing that some voters did not believe they were getting the policies they expected. 

The reported incidents also come as a recent poll found Crockett leading Talarico 56 percent to 44 percent, a 12-point advantage.

Democratic strategist James Carville expressed on the Politicon podcast that Crockett “violates the first rule of politics,” arguing that “in politics we always make it about the voters and never about yourself.” He added, “You listen to her talk. It’s a lot more about herself than it is to voters.” Carville further explained, “What wins elections is not sitting there talking about yourself,” and said winning elections is about “being part of framing issues and understanding where people are coming from,” concluding, “I don’t think Congressman Crockett is very good at that. I’ll be very frank.”

Medicine Technician Arrested in Murder of Millionaire Philanthropist; Police Say Suspect Wore Wig

Authorities in Maryland have arrested a suspect in the murder of millionaire philanthropist Robert Fuller Jr at a senior living facility in Maryland.

The Montgomery Police Department has announced that Maurquise James, 22, a medicine technician who was employed by the Cogir Potomac Senior Living Facility, has been arrested for the murder of Robert Fuller Jr.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Montgomery County Police on Saturday released surveillance footage of a suspect they believed was connected to the murder.

In surveillance footage, a person wearing a plaid jacket and appearing to have long hair was seen entering the senior living facility where Fuller resided.

Shortly after the surveillance footage was released to the public, employees notified authorities that James wore the same plaid jacket to the senior living facility on multiple occasions.

Captain Sean Gheen said detectives also received a tip from a staff member at the senior living facility who informed authorities that James had been at the facility after his work hours on the night of the murder.

On Tuesday morning, James was arrested after he fired shots at a Maryland State Trooper, and detectives were able to match the bullet casings to those found at the murder of Fuller.

JD Vance, Dr. Oz make dramatic move withholding $259.5M Minnesota Medicaid funds in first battle in the ‘war on fraud’

Vice President JD Vance announced Wednesday that $259.5 million in Medicaid funds for Minnesota won’t be reimbursed due to fraud concerns — giving Democratic Gov. Tim Walz 60 days to submit a “corrective action plan” or face further withholdings.

Vance was joined by Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, to make the announcement, which was first reported by The Post — one day after President Trump announced a Vance-led “war on fraud” in his State of the Union address.

The men also announced a national pause on firms that can seek subsidies through Medicare for durable medical equipment like canes and walkers.

“We are going to start very aggressively in the administration cracking down on the people and the organizations that are defrauding Americans,” Vance pledged after being delegated the role by Trump.

Oz said “Gov. [Tim] Walz has 60 days — 60 days, sir — to respond to our letter” if he wants repayment, which Oz said will require the state to “propose and act on a comprehensive corrective action plan to solve the problem.”

Far-Left Activists Are Encouraging and Radicalizing K–12 Students In Nationwide Anti-ICE Walkouts

A growing number of K–12 students are taking part in walkouts and protests against federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations across the nation, raising questions about the activists radicalizing them.

The walkouts, which many school administrators say are a legitimate exercise of the students’ First Amendment rights, have seen increasing incidents of violence and lawlessness, ranging from beatings and scuffles to vandalism.

Similar protests and calls to “melt ICE” have popped up across the nation in communities, from Colorado to Texas to Virginia, where hundreds of students have been suspended for leaving campus during what school officials have called “student-led” walkouts.

The New York Post reports that it’s not just school officials who are facilitating these protests with far-left activists encouraging kids to skip class and “rebel against” ICE agents across major West Coast cities.

The activist group Dare To Struggle instructed students from six downtown Los Angeles area schools to meet at the “Federal Building by 2pm” to protest deportations.

Huckabee Defends Pollard Meeting, Says God Promised Israel the Entire Middle East

During a nearly two-and-a-half-hour interview with Tucker Carlson, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee defended meeting with American traitor Jonathan Pollard, who spied for Israel while a Navy intelligence officer and landed in prison for 30 years.

The New York Times revealed the meeting in November and called it “secret,” which Huckabee denied to Carlson, claiming that he meets with people all the time.

Huckabee also defended the historical and theological claim that present day Israel is the Israel of the Bible, as have GOP U.S. Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Huckabee said the Bible would justify Israel’s seizing territory in the Middle East from the Euphrates River in Iraq to the Nile in Egypt.

The genesis of the Pollard discussion was the revelation in the Times.

The meeting was secret, the Times reported, and for good reason. No other American envoy thought meeting with Pollard was a good idea.

“The highly unusual meeting caught some U.S. officials by surprise, and appeared to be a sharp break with years of precedent for American diplomats,” the newspaper disclosed:

The New York Times learned of the meeting from three U.S. officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive information. When The Times asked Mr. Pollard about the meeting, he confirmed it.

The meeting was not on Huckabee’s schedule, which “alarmed” the CIA station chief.

And the top U.S. spy in Israel isn’t the only American official that Huckabee kept in the dark, the Times continued:

The White House was not aware of the meeting in advance, according to a White House official and two people briefed on the matter. The White House official also said that senior officials there were alarmed when they learned it had taken place.
