US To Revoke Colombian President’s Visa After He Urged US Soldiers To Defy Orders

The U.S. State Department said on Sept. 26 that it would revoke Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s visa after he called on U.S. soldiers to disobey orders during his visit to New York.

“Earlier today, Colombian president @petrogustavo stood on a NYC street and urged U.S. soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence,” the department stated on X.

“We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions,” it added. The department did not provide further details about the incident.

Petro traveled to New York for the United Nations General Assembly, though it is unclear whether he is still in the city.

His office shared a series of videos on social media showing him addressing a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters gathering outside UN headquarters in New York on Sept. 26.

“I ask all the soldiers of the U.S. army, do not point your guns at the people,” Petro said through a translator in one of the videos.

Disobey [President Donald] Trump’s orders. Obey the orders of humanity.”

No soldiers appear to be visible in the videos shared by the Colombian president’s office.

Neither the Colombian government nor Petro has issued a response statement to the U.S. State Department’s decision.

In his Sept. 24 address to the UN General Assembly, Petro called on other nations to form “a powerful army” to help defend Palestine from the Israel-Hamas war, which has been ongoing since Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attack on southern Israel.

The Colombian president said that diplomacy had failed to resolve the war and that it’s time for the international community to take a different approach.

“We need a powerful army of countries that do not accept genocide. That is why I invite nations of the world and their peoples more than anything, as an integral part of humanity, to bring together weapons and armies to defend Palestine,” Petro said.

Dems, Unelected Bureaucrats Obstruct Implementation Of Trump Elections Order

Unelected bureaucrats have a well-deserved reputation for grinding things to a halt. That’s especially true when it comes to election integrity efforts.

The grinding is particularly pronounced in the movement of President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14248 on “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections.”

The president signed the EO on March 25. It was an urgent call to secure a wounded elections system that, contrary to assertions from left-leaning “voter rights” groups and their stooges in the accomplice media, has been anything but “the most secure in American history.”

Six months later, the work to meet the moment, to restore faith in America’s elections, has gotten bogged down in leftist-led court challenges, intransigent elections officials, and, per usual, slow-walking bureaucrats.

The frustration is growing.

“177 DAYS since @POTUS ordered new standards to secure elections,” The Republican National Lawyers Association posted on X.

“177 DAYS of @EACgov GOPers doing EVERYTHING they can within the law to adopt Pres. @realDonaldTrump‘s plan.177 DAYS of lefty, unelected bureaucrats on an ADVISORY committee abusing the law to stand in the way,” the Republican National Lawyers Association tweeted last week.”

“Disgraceful.”

European Neo-Feudalism: How Exit Taxes Chain Citizens To A Failing System

More and more people are turning their backs on the European Union. With them, the states are also losing economic substance. Exit taxes are being used in an attempt to counter this.

The states of the European Union are experiencing a veritable exodus. About 1.4 million EU citizens left their home countries in 2023, among them 265,000 Germans. Among the favored destinations are, alongside Switzerland and the United States, booming regions such as Qatar or Dubai.

Good Reasons

The list of destination countries carries political dynamite, because it says much about the background of this flight movement. A growing number of high performers are trying to escape what is in many places almost predatory levels of taxation. In addition, academics, researchers, freelancers such as the so-called “digital nomads,” and entrepreneurs simply find better economic prospects elsewhere than in economically sedated Europe.

EU citizens are not infrequently being drained by a tax burden of 45 percent. We know this from Germany: it is not even necessary to count among the absolute top earners in order to have to surrender nearly half of one’s income to the tax authorities. Basically, it is a scandal—one about which there is no longer any open discussion.

In Dubai, for example, there is no income tax at all. In the United States, the state burdens its citizens with around 27 percent. Anyone who can calculate, who is well educated and mobile, draws the consequences. Alongside the tax burden, social crises increasingly come into play: uncontrolled migration, the decay of major cities, and the visibly hostile climate of ever-expanding bureaucracies. For many ambitious people, life in the EU’s Europe is simply too expensive, and the essence of bureaucracy too overbearing.

Expensive Emigration

Every emigrant leaves behind an economic gap in his homeland. When a German with a high income leaves the country, the state does not only lose a taxpayer—it loses his capital and know-how. Over the lifetime of an academic, around €1.5 million in taxes and social contributions escape the treasury. In addition, there is the enormous loss of capital. Estimates assume that the median wealth of Germans per person is €106,000. With the emigration of 265,000 Germans and the return of 191,000 persons—where for simplicity we assume the same level of wealth—about €7.8 billion in capital flows abroad.

The economist Bernd Raffelhüschen calculates the annual fiscal loss through emigration by discounting the difference between future tax and social contribution payments and state transfers of an average academic to its present value. He arrives at a loss of about €30,000 for each emigrated academic.

The flight of high performers works like economic erosion in real time. Highly qualified people leave the country. People who, with higher probability, would have moved venture capital and founded companies are tearing open a fiscal gap. About 56 percent of income tax revenue is provided by the top ten percent of taxpayers—the political class would be well advised to roll out the red carpet for these people instead of harnessing them to the cart of their ambitious social projects.

Feudalism as the Answer

The answer of EU Europe to the flight of the economically ambitious and wealthy is neo-feudal in character. Through punitive taxes, the costs of fleeing the tax collector and the increasingly invasive state are to be raised so high that the impulse to emigrate is suffocated. Somewhat exaggeratedly formulated, this policy recalls the old feudal European conditions which once led to the mass migration of Europeans to North America.

Alongside France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands, the Federal Republic of Germany has also deployed an exit tax.

Anyone who, as an entrepreneur, holds at least 1 percent of a corporation (this includes stock capital) and turns his back on Germany triggers exit taxation—even if no sales proceeds have been realized. In this case, the state assumes a fictitious sale of the shares and taxes the theoretical capital gain. What is decisive is the difference between the original purchase price and the current market value. Sixty percent of this gain is added to taxable income and taxed at up to 45 percent, depending on the income tax rate. In addition comes the solidarity surcharge and a possible church tax levy.

This regulation applies if the person concerned was subject to unlimited taxation in Germany for at least seven of the past twelve years—and it applies equally in the case of emigration to third countries or relocation within the EU. Since 2022, moves within the EU are no longer automatically privileged for tax purposes: whoever wants to leave must pay—unless he applies for a deferral over seven years and provides collateral. The frequently mentioned €150,000 threshold is not a tax-free allowance, but only a guideline for assessment.

In sum, this amounts to state access to future gains, binding entrepreneurs to their homeland and making departure more difficult through a fiscal hurdle.

Democrats, Who Weaponized Justice Against Trump, Decry Comey Indictment As Retribution

Looks like deep state creep James Comey will have to “86” some of his plans in the coming months after being indicted on charges of lying to and obstructing the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2020.

An injustice! Democrats cried. Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, declared that Comey’s indictment is part of President Donald Trump’s “wrath and vengeance campaign.” The Maryland leftist, of course, was all-in on the Biden administration’s vengeance campaign against his presidential predecessor and his supporters.

But Raskin said something remarkably hypocritcal, even for him.

He’s confident that a jury of Comey’s peers will see past the Trump hater’s trouble with the truth and “vindicate” the disgraced former FBI head.

“But, until that happens, Mr. Comey will be forced to spend time, money, and energy defending himself against this blatantly fraudulent and vindictive indictment,” he said Thursday evening in a statement.

Wow! That’s rich.

‘Unprecedented Legal Action’

Raskin and his Trump Derangement Syndrome-suffering colleagues rejoiced in the time, energy and money — lots of money — the president and his campaign spent in fighting “blatantly fraudulent and vindictive” indictments.

In just a two-year period, Trump, his campaign and other fundraising organizations, according to the Associated Press, were forced to pay out $76.7 million in legal fees to defend the then-former president and Republican Party presidential candidate from the most expensive and nation-rending lawfare campaign in the nation’s history.

As should be abundantly clear to even the most dim-witted liberal, the Democrat Party, the party for today’s political assassin, stopped at literally nothing to take out Trump. The Biden administration and its leftist prosecutorial pals in New York and Georgia and Arizona and Wisconsin and several other states turned the administration of justice into a political gun — used liberally against Trump and his defenders.

And Comey, the FBI’s leaker-in-chief, played a role in the weaponization of justice as Trump was opening his first term.

As if the previous four years had magically never happened, Politico described Comey’s indictment an “unprecedented legal action.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who campaigned on getting Trump, used a kangaroo court to prosecute her party’s top political enemy in a bogus civil fraud case. The politically conflicted judge presiding over the trial levied a half-billion fine against the Trump Organization. A New York appellate court ruled the fine was excessive and unconstitutional and tossed the penalty altogether.

“The immense penalty in this case is troubling,” Justice Peter Moulton said during last year’s oral arguments. “How do you tether the amount that was assessed by the Supreme Court to the harm that was caused here where parties left these transactions happy … ?”

‘Punishing and Silencing’

Russia collusion hoaxer, California Sen. Adam Schiff, who has his own leaking problems, audaciously declared that the DOJ “is now little more than an arm of the president’s retribution campaign.”

Sen. Mark R. Warner, a Virginia Democrat and Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, said in a statement that Trump “has made clear that he intends to turn our justice system into a weapon for punishing and silencing his critics.”

Democrats, of course, actually did try to silence their political opponent by unconstitutionally kicking Trump off the Republican primary ballot.

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who has also had his own leaking problems, insists that the merits of the ridiculously political federal indictments against Trump “are very different from this extremely thin indictment that’s presented against Jim Comey, the facts of which, at least as far as I’m aware, are going to be very hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.”

We’ll see.

And before liberals begin to cry about how much it will cost the American taxpayer to prosecute the former FBI director (because Democrats are sticklers for saving taxpayer dollars), they should remember that we’ve seen this move before. According to a Newsweek review, taxpayers were on the hook for at least $50 million that special counsel Jack Smith’s office spent in his failed prosecution of Donald Trump via the Biden administration’s weaponized Department of Justice.

FBI Director Kash Patel said, as Comey and plenty of Democrats have said of Trump, “No one is above the law.”

“Today, your FBI took another step in its promise of full accountability,”  Patel wrote on X.  “For far too long, corrupt leadership weaponized federal law enforcement, damaging once proud institutions and eroding public trust. Under my leadership, this FBI will confront the problem head-on. No one is above the law.”

“War Against ICE”: Anarcho-Communist Website Calls For Mobilization Across U.S.

AnarchistNews, the long-running anarcho-communist propaganda site, popular among Antifa militants and radical leftists, issued a movement order this week instructing “all anarchists across the country” to disrupt operations at ICE facilities in every city and to “celebrate life with fire against the death march of american law and order.”

“We invite all anarchists across the country not only to occupy and disrupt operations at ICE facilities in every city, but to celebrate life with fire against the death march of american law and order. With tactical diversity, lets meet in the streets and wage a carnival of war against ICE and all authority!” read a post titled “A Call for Anarchist Action in America,” anonymously submitted on AnarchistNews.

Given that AnarchistNews doesn’t usually create original reporting, it collects and reposts content from anarchist collectives, independent media, and individuals. It’s therefore difficult to determine who penned this action order. Still, its publication on the site suggests that Trump’s domestic terror designation of Antifa has riled up the base of far-left radicals who have already been attacking ICE facilities nationwide. This signals a likely rise in civil terrorism, as seen on Wednesday when a left-wing extremist opened fire at an ICE facility in Texas.

On Wednesday morning, FBI Director Kash Patel provided new details about yesterday’s radical leftist shooter, who had written down notes during the planning phase of the attack, writing: “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘Is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?”

Matt Taibbi on Jim Comey: “Think of the National Security Implications of Implying that Your Own President is a Spy for a Foreign Country!… You Cannot Let That Go On”

Investigative journalist Matt Taibbi joined Jesse Watters on Friday night to discuss the James Comey indictments.

Taibbi blasted Comey for leaking false documents to the leftist press accusing President Trump of being a Russian spy. This was something Comey KNEW was factually incorrect and yet he took these actions to take down a sitting US President.

The criminal charges against Comey are much more serious than what the media is reporting!

In a previous time in American history Comey would be hung for treason.

Matt Taibbi: “People have to remember what is the substance of these lies? What were they for? These news stories that were put out there that were leaked to the press, the thrust of them was that Donald Trump was under the throes of a foreign government. He was a Russian agent.

Think of the national security implications of implying that your own president is a spy for a foreign country.

Would that be tolerated in any normal country?

You cannot let that go on. You can’t have an FBI director doing these kinds of things and engaging these sorts of manipulations and lying to Congress about it and getting away with it.”

Jesse Watters: Yeah, he basically framed him as a traitor. What’s the punishment for treason? We all know what that is. I mean, this is the worst thing you can possibly do…

Matt Taibbi: One thing I think we’ve learned during the Russiagate period is that James Comey has a peculiar vanity that I think is often his undoing.

He often thinks that he’s being clever when he’s not. He often thinks that he’s showing tremendous rectitude when he’s actually looking like a phony on television.

The more exposure that he gets for himself, I think actually the more it will redound to Trump’s benefit.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s good if he’s on television more during this period.

US Cyber Agency Issues Emergency Directive Amid Major Hacking Campaign Targeting Cisco

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has issued an emergency directive asking federal agencies to take immediate action to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities to protect their devices from a major hacking campaign, the agency said in a Sept. 25 statement.

“This widespread campaign poses a significant risk to victims’ networks by exploiting zero-day vulnerabilities that persist through reboots and system upgrades,” CISA said.

Zero-day vulnerabilities refer to unknown or unaddressed security flaws in computer hardware, firmware, or software. Such vulnerabilities are called “zero-day” since the software or device with such flaws has zero days to fix the issue, thus enabling hackers to immediately exploit them.

According to the directive, Cisco has assessed that the hacking campaign is linked to the threat actor ArcaneDoor.

A May 2024 post by computer and network security company Censys said an investigation of IPs controlled by ArcaneDoor suggested “the potential involvement of an actor based in China, including links to multiple major Chinese networks and the presence of Chinese-developed anti-censorship software.”

Four out of five IP hosts analyzed by Censys were found to be in China, with some linked to Chinese conglomerate Tencent and Chinese telecom company ChinaNet.

“Networks like Tencent and ChinaNet have extensive reach and resources, so they would make sense as an infrastructure choice for a sophisticated global operation like this one,” Censys said in its post.

In a Sept. 25 statement, Cisco said it had been engaged by multiple government agencies in May to provide support to an investigation into attacks targeting the company’s ASA devices.

The company said it has “high confidence” that the hacking activity was related to ArcaneDoor.

“Cisco assesses with high confidence that upgrading to a fixed software release will break the threat actor’s attack chain and strongly recommends that all customers upgrade to fixed software releases,” the company said.

School District Superintendent Raked in MILLIONS Before ICE Arrest

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts after allegedly fleeing when agents arrived to enforce a deportation order.

Roberts, originally from Guyana, has been under a final deportation order since May 2024. Despite that order, he continued to lead Iowa’s largest school district until his arrest this week.

What makes this case even more alarming is not only that Roberts remained in office unlawfully, but that he was paid handsomely for doing so.

His current base salary exceeded $180,000 per year, and district officials were preparing to raise his base pay to $270,000. Over the course of his tenure, that means Roberts could have earned millions of dollars in taxpayer money while residing in the country illegally.

The district released a short statement claiming they had “no information” about the circumstances of his arrest. That explanation does not change the facts.

Federal records make clear that Roberts was under orders of removal. Yet the school board allowed him to remain in charge, responsible for nearly 30,000 students and one of the state’s largest budgets.

This is not the first controversy involving Roberts. He was previously detained in connection with carrying a firearm, though authorities never provided full details. That earlier incident was first noted in reports months ago, but new information about his contract and salary has raised the level of concern.

Parents and taxpayers now have to ask: how was an individual under deportation orders allowed not only to keep his job but to receive a six-figure salary funded by public money?

The political response has been predictable. Protests are already being organized to defend Roberts, portraying him as the victim rather than the perpetrator. That narrative ignores a basic truth.

A superintendent facing deportation should not be rewarded with a salary approaching $200,000, nor should a school board prepare to give him an even larger raise.

Families deserve better than a system that treats lawbreaking as a minor administrative detail.

In Today’s Democrat Party, Political Violence Is Mainstream

Within the last two weeks, the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the targeted shooting of a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement office have confirmed a grim reality. The so-called “fringe” left is not fringe at all, but a fully entrenched, violent, mainstream force.

More concerning, the once near-universal belief that violence is never an acceptable response to speech is quickly eroding, particularly among younger generations.

The reaction to Kirk’s murder made this abundantly clear.

Across social media and in sympathetic corners of the corporate press, voices rushed not to condemn the violence but to rationalize it. Some, like popular streamer Destiny, even celebrated it, suggesting that conservatives bring such attacks upon themselves, adding that they need “to be afraid of getting killed when they go to events.”

Former MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd (he was fired for his comments) captured this mindset when he said immediately after Kirk’s shooting: “Hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have, saying these awful words, and then not expect awful actions to take place. And that’s the unfortunate environment we are in.”

In other words, the violence itself is treated as inevitable and, by extension, justified.

Pam Bondi Deploys DOJ Agents to ICE Facilities, Orders Joint Terrorism Task Forces to CRUSH Radical Left-Wing Mobs Assaulting Federal Officers and Obstructing Immigration Enforcement

Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered the deployment of DOJ agents to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities across the country — and instructed Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) to target radical left-wing mobs that have been assaulting federal officers and obstructing immigration enforcement.

The message is clear: “The Rule of Law Will Prevail.”

In a fiery statement posted to X, Bondi declared:

“I have witnessed the continued onslaught of violence perpetrated against ICE officers across our country.

The Department of Justice will not stand idly by in the face of such lawlessness.

At my direction, I am deploying DOJ agents to ICE facilities—and wherever ICE comes under siege—to safeguard federal agents, protect federal property, and immediately arrest all individuals engaged in any federal crime.

Pursuant to President Trump’s recent executive action, I am also instructing the Joint Terrorism Task Forces across the country to disrupt and investigate all entities and individuals engaged in acts of domestic terrorism, including the repeated acts of violence and obstruction against federal agents.

The Department of Justice will seek the most serious available charges against all participants in these criminal mobs, including conspiracy offenses, assault offenses, civil disorder offenses, and terrorism offenses.

While these never-ending attacks are designed to break our will, they only strengthen our resolve to complete the work begun.

To that end, I have directed the FBI, DEA, ATF, and USMS to accelerate our efforts alongside the Department of Homeland Security to locate, apprehend, detain, prosecute, and remove all illegal aliens present in our country. The rule of law will prevail.”
