Biden’s Electric Cars Will Have To Run on Chinese Batteries

With blissful abandon, President Joe Biden is proposing a massive expansion in electric cars, funding 500,000 charging stations for their batteries around the country.

There’s only one problem: China controls 80 percent of the globe’s essential raw materials—called rare earth minerals—necessary for the manufacture of car batteries.

Meanwhile, the United States has to import 80 percent of these minerals it uses, mainly from Beijing

So, in switching from gas-powered cars to electric cars, we would be switching from energy self-sufficiency to total dependence on China.

Instead of Arab sheiks controlling our destiny, Chinese communist apparatchiks would.

The U.S. once was the dominant global supplier of rare earth minerals until the environmental movement closed down the mines in California and Nevada that produced much of the world’s supply.

Rand Paul: Fauci Should Be ‘Removed from TV’ for ‘Fear-Mongering’

During a Tuesday appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) called for White House chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci to be removed from his television appearances for “fear-mongering.” This comes a day after he referred to Fauci as a “petty” tyrant.

According to Paul, Fauci is spouting information that “isn’t even matched by the science of his own institute,” the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

“Now, immunity doesn’t have to be perfect to be protective. It could be that possibly someone who’s had COVID like myself could they be reinfected — there are very small numbers of it. But guess what, almost none of them are really getting sick. … You’re not reading stories of, ‘Oh, my goodness, thousands of people have been reinfected and they’re hospitalized and they’re dying.’ Those stories don’t exist. You will read about a random, very rare person getting reinfected or getting infected when they have been vaccinated. But the good news is, is that even if you got infected from COVID after you’ve been vaccinated, you have some immunity, you have partial immunity, and it lessens the degree or significance of the disease.”

Find Out If Google Is Tracking You With New FloC System

Google is ramping up its monopoly on tracking users with a new system called FloC, or Federated Learning of Cohorts”.  It is currently in test mode with some Chrome users, and you can quickly find out if you are being “FloCed” by going to EFF’s AmIFloced.org site.

Google is running a Chrome “origin trial” to test out an experimental new tracking feature called Federated Learning of Cohorts (aka “FLoC”). According to Google, the trial currently affects 0.5% of users in selected regions, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the United States. This page will try to detect whether you’ve been made a guinea pig in Google’s ad-tech experiment.

The hidden death toll of lockdown

Evidence-based medicine might sound like a tautology — what kind of medicine isn’t based on evidence? I’m afraid that you’d be surprised. Massive decisions are often taken on misleading, low-quality evidence. We see this all the time. In the last pandemic, the swine flu outbreak of 2009, I did some work asking why the government spent £500 million on Tamiflu: then hailed as a wonder drug. In fact, it proved to have a very limited effect. The debate then had many of the same cast of characters as today: Jonathan Van-Tam, Neil Ferguson and others. The big difference this time is the influence of social media, whose viciousness is something to behold. It’s easy to see why academics would self-censor and stay away from the debate, especially if it means challenging a consensus. Academics who are tenured, like me, don’t have to worry so much about people pulling strings above us. This is the importance of tenure; it allows academic freedom. In a crisis, when tempers run so high, you need a variety of views more than ever.

Defense Wants to Prevent Expert Testimony in Cell Phone Radiation Lawsuit Because They Fear It Would “unfairly prejudice Defendants”

Cell phone injury lawsuits have existed for many years in the U.S. and worldwide (see 1, 2, 3, 4).

In the U.S. defense attorneys are currently trying to stop scientific testimony from being allowed in one case.

Defense Seeks To Bar Portier Testimony

As expected, defense lawyers have asked the DC court to not allow Christopher Portier to be an expert witness in this case.

In a filing yesterday, the team representing the cell phone industry, argued that, “[A]llowing a new expert four months before the long-planned Daubert hearing would disrupt the existing schedule and unfairly prejudice Defendants.”

The filing was signed by Terry Dee of McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago on behalf of himself and 37 other lawyers at 23 law firms.

Portier was retained by the plaintiff attorneys in March 15, 2015 with the payment of a $5,000 retainer. It is not clear why his report was filed last month, close to six years later.

No word on when the judge may rule on Portier’s participation.

Big Corporations Now Deploying Woke Ideology the Way Intelligence Agencies Do: As a Disguise

Large corporations have obviously witnessed the success of this tactic — to prettify the face of militarism and imperialism with the costumes of social justice — and are now weaponizing it for themselves. As a result, they are becoming increasingly aggressive in their involvement in partisan and highly politicized debates, always on the side of the same causes of social justice which entities of imperialism and militarism have so effectively co-opted.

Corporations have always sought to control the legislative process and executive branch, usually with much success. They purchase politicians and their powerful aides by hiring them as lobbyists and consultants when they leave government, and those bought-and-paid-for influence-peddlers then proceed to exploit their connections in Washington or state capitals to ensure that laws are written and regulations enforced (or not enforced) to benefit the corporations’ profit interests. These large corporations achieve the same goal by filling the campaign coffers of politicians from both parties. This is standard, age-old K Street sleaze that allows large corporations to control American democracy at the expense of those who cannot afford to buy this influence.

But they are now going far beyond clandestine corporatist control of the government for their own interests. They are now becoming increasingly powerful participants in highly polarizing and democratic debates. In the wake of the George Floyd killing last summer, it became virtually obligatory for every large corporation to proclaim support for the #BlackLivesMatter agenda even though many, if not most, had never previously evinced the slightest interest in questions of racial justice or policing.

Shock Video: Cops Force-Vaccinate Special Needs Girls In Statewide ‘Operation Homebound’ Program

After forcibly injecting her with the experimental mRNA vaccine, the officers then clapped as the woman continued wailing.

Another special needs girl is seen in a driveway trying to escape the officers with the vaccine before also getting jabbed.

Next, the officers appeared to administer the COVID-19 to a sleeping patient with Alzheimer’s disease without her knowledge or consent.

“There you go, piece of cake. It’s okay hon, we just gave you a vaccination, that’s all,” the female officer said as the woman began to wake up.

This disturbing footage is part of Los Angeles’ Operation Homebound, which the LA County Sheriff’s Department says is a “program designed to vaccinate the most underrepresented, homebound, and underserved disabled residents in our communities, including those experiencing homelessness.”
