Virginia Democrats Reveal a Radical Design

Virginia Democrats are doing an unwitting service to the whole country — by revealing just how hostile their party is to the most essential checks and balances.

Democrats violated the state’s constitution by pushing through a referendum to take four congressional seats away from Republicans.

But when Virginia’s supreme court threw out the illegal map, Democrats didn’t back down:

They started thinking of ways to get rid of every justice on the court, so they could pack it with new ones expressly picked to return a verdict more favorable to the party. 

If the Democrat-controlled Virginia legislature could impose a mandatory retirement age of 54 on the justices — who are all older than that — they could be removed and replaced by compliant partisans.

This wasn’t just a harebrained scheme by state Democrats; this was discussed on a call with the highest-ranking Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

As breathtaking as this power grab might be, it’s consistent with the thrust of the national party’s thinking about doing away with troublesome constitutional checks.

Democrats have been arguing for decades to weaken or eliminate protections built into the Constitution to prevent a self-interested faction or party — even one with a short-term electoral majority behind it — from seizing total power.

Virginia today is exactly what James Madison and other framers of the Constitution were afraid of:

A faction — the Democrats — is using its success in the most recent election to try to rewrite the rules for future elections and is prepared to intimidate or destroy any institution that stands in its way, including the state’s supreme court. 

Virginia is not a solid-blue state — just a year ago, it had a full slate of Republican statewide elected officers.

Its congressional delegation is split, six Democrats to five Republicans. 

It may presently be out of reach for Republicans in presidential elections, but its legislative races and contests for statewide offices are competitive — Republicans had a majority in the House of Delegates as recently as three years ago.

Indeed, Virginia is so politically balanced that Democrats try to put a moderate face on their party by picking the likes of Abigail Spanberger, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine for governor or U.S. senator, candidates who present themselves as centrists.

Yet once Spanberger was sworn in as governor this year, with Democratic majorities in the general assembly, the push was on to throw the state constitution aside and redraw the congressional map to give Democrats 10 seats to one for the GOP, and now the justices who stopped that gerrymander face the party’s wrath.

Virginia’s constitution doesn’t seem to allow removal of sitting justices by imposing a mandatory retirement age.

The Gerrymander Debacle In Virginia Leaves The Democratic Party With A Dangerous Agenda

“Eff around and find out”: That taunt from Hakeem Jeffries celebrating Virginia’s gerrymander did not age well.

On Friday, the House minority leader found out that Virginia’s Supreme Court was not quite as gleeful as he about Democrats’ attempt to virtually eliminate Republican representation in the purple state.

The court just cooked the party’s infamous lobster, a district over 100 miles long that was designed to help devour the GOP’s slender majority in the House of Representatives.

It also cooked the ambitions of Gov. Abigail Spanberger and the Democratic establishment, which tossed aside any pretense of principle in a raw political gambit.

The resulting faceplant is nothing short of legendary: Spanberger’s Democrats have succeeded in alienating half of the state.

For the governor, the court’s decision was particularly embarrassing.

Before assuming power, Spanberger denounced gerrymandering as “detrimental to our democracy and weakens the individual voices that form our electorates.”

She ran as a moderate, but Spanberger immediately turned sharply left once in office and called for the most extreme gerrymander in the nation.

The court found that effort was not only unconstitutional, but “wholly unprecedented in Virginia’s history.”

It characterized the state’s position as “a story of the tail wagging the dog that has no tail.”

While some of us had previously expressed skepticism over the rushed effort to circumvent the state constitution, the media almost exclusively relied on liberal experts who predicted the new districts would be upheld.

It was a calculated risk for Democrats, who have now burned their bridges with Virginia conservative and Republican voters.

As Winston Churchill said, “Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result.”

Exhilarating and unforgettable: In a purple state where politicians often require crossover votes to prevail, the redistricting push was not just partisan but personal for voters.

National Democrats will soon “find out” whether Jeffries was right to prematurely celebrate a victory that seemed to secure his anticipated elevation to Speaker of the House.

The party is facing a potentially catastrophic reversal of fortune.

DOJ Opens Bombshell Probe Into Soros-Backed Fairfax DA Accused of Favoring Violent Illegals

The Trump Justice Department has turned its spotlight on one of George Soros’s most controversial political beneficiaries, Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano, as reported by RedState.

The long-criticized prosecutor is now under federal investigation for allegedly offering sweetheart deals to violent illegal immigrants while going soft on public safety for everyday Virginians.

It’s been quite a week for Democrats in Virginia. While FBI agents raided the offices of state Senator Louise Lucas in a major corruption probe involving cannabis dispensaries, the DOJ decided to look into Descano’s sentencing practices in Northern Virginia.

According to the department’s announcement, the Civil Rights Division will examine whether Descano’s office discriminated against U.S. citizens by granting preferential treatment to illegal immigrants charged with serious crimes.

This is the latest devastating blow to radical Democrats’ blatant attempt to rewrite Virginia’s congressional maps mid-decade and hand themselves a super-majority in the U.S. House by turning the state from a competitive 6-5 split into a laughably unfair 10 Democrats to 1 Republican slaughter.

Virginia voters previously approved the state legislature and Governor Abigail Spanberger’s wicked power grab in a narrow vote last month.

The day after the vote, Jeffries strutted to the podium to spike the football:

People in the left are absolutely frothing at the mouth over the decision by the Virginia Supreme Court that tore down their effort to gerrymander the state.

Hasan Piker, an America-hating, self-proclaimed communist and streamer, who Democrats just can’t seem to get enough of, has alsready suggested violent revolution as a fix for the problem.

It’s just amazing how political violence has become so normal for people on the left. They just want their way and will do anything to get it.

Leftist streamer calls violent revolution ‘inevitable’ as Democrats explode over Virginia court decision

Democrats exploded in fury Friday after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down a party-backed redistricting map central to their midterm election strategy, with at least one prominent leftist voice going so far as to call violent revolution “inevitable.”

In a 4-3 decision, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled that a voter-approved map, which would give Democrats a 10-1 advantage in U.S. House races, violated the state’s constitution because of procedural errors in the map’s passage. Virginia voters will cast ballots in the 2026 midterms using the same district maps from the 2022 and 2024 elections, which Democrats currently hold 6-5.

But Democratic lawmakers and commentators alike have framed the Supreme Court’s ruling as an act going against the will of the people. Hasan Piker, a popular leftist streamer who has espoused antisemitic rhetoric and campaigns with congressional candidates, accused the Virginia Supreme Court of denying the results of the state’s redistricting referendum.

“Scotus gutted the voting rights act and tennessee carved up the last dem district destroying black voter power in the state,” Piker wrote on X. “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

ICE Bags Child-rape Suspect in Fairfax County, Va., After Detainer Ignored; Defiance of Federal Laws Continues

Yet again, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has likely saved a child in Virginia from sexual assault by arresting an illegal alien freed by Fairfax County.

ICE agents awaited Walvin Victor Hugo Garcia after a judge freed him to leave a courtroom, where he had appeared to answer a charge of child rape.

Garcia is the second such individual authorities in Virginia have released and whom ICE has been forced to arrest. In February, ICE bagged Iranian illegal Shayan Kahhal. Yet the agents can’t be everywhere.

A Fairfax County prosecutor released a violent Third World “migrant” who had been arrested almost three dozen times despite a warning from cops not to do so. Result: Abdul Jalloh stabbed 41-year-old mom Stephanie Minter to death at a bus stop, prosecutors allege.

The Garcia case is typical. Local authorities ignore a valid detainer from ICE, then release a dangerous suspect.

In this case, the Department of Homeland Security reported, cops arrested Garcia in June 2025 and charged him with raping a child under 13 years old and using a computer to commit a sexual offense with a minor. Cops also allege he distributed drugs to a minor.

Breaking: FBI Raids Office of Virginia Democrat Behind ‘Ten F—in’ One’ Gerrymander Map

There’s a big story breaking in Virginia this Wednesday morning as reports are surfacing on social media that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is raiding the offices of Democrat Sen. Louise Lucas, who is president pro tempore of the Virginia state senate and the chief architect of the gerrymandered map that could possibly steal four congressional seats currently held by Republicans.

Bill Melugin of Fox News posted on X that the FBI is in the process of raiding Lucas’s Portsmouth office “in connection to a major corruption probe” and noted that federal law enforcement was “serving multiple search warrants, approved by a federal judge, at her office and a next door cannabis dispensary.”

More Bad News From Virginia That Gives Another Major Blow Against The 2nd Amendment And Against Pardoned J6er.

The U.S. Fourth Circuit has Upheld Hatchet Speed’s Ridiculous Conviction for Possessing Three Firearm Silencers (which were actually Solvent Drip Containers).

The case originated with a search over January 6, so Speed should be pardoned anyway! But Speed’s case has been forgotten.

Hatchet Speed of Virginia holds several records among J6ers. He is the only J6er who was subjected to THREE (3) trials and the only remaining J6er whose J6 pardon has never been applied to his clearly related case outside Washington, D.C.

Now the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals (which covers federal courts in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia) has issued a disgraceful ruling against Speed, the Second Amendment, and common sense. The 4th Circuit has upheld Speed’s “silencer” conviction and ruled that the Second Amendment does not apply to silencer possession.

Speed’s case has profound impacts on the status of the Second Amendment and firearm regulation nationwide.

Prior to Speed’s case, Americans have been able to purchase gun-cleaning solvent containers which can be threaded onto the barrels of firearms to catch and filter gun-cleaning fluids. Several manufacturers make variations that resemble firearm silencers in appearance. A purchaser could, with enough tools and ingenuity, drill and convert such containers into firearm silencers. The BATFE under the Biden Administration issued an “open letter” proclaiming a new interpretation that many solvent traps qualify as “firearm silencers” in November 2023. This means that every similar device must be registered, or its possessor faces up to five years in federal prison.

Despite Hatchet Speed’s case, these solvent traps are still sold over the counter at gun stores and online. Untold thousands of them are certainly in people’s drawers and on people’s shelves today. Little do the owners know that they can now be imprisoned for up to five years under the Fourth Circuit’s new ruling.

Democrat Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger Responds to FBI Raid on Office of Ally State Senate Pro Tem L. Louise Lucas

Democrat Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger on Wednesday afternoon responded to the FBI raid on her friend and ally L Louise Lucas.

The FBI on Wednesday raided the office of Virginia’s Democrat Senate President Pro Tempore L Louise Lucas in connection to a major corruption probe, Fox News reported.

Federal agents served multiple search warrants, approved by a federal judge, at Lucas’ office and the cannabis dispensary next door, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported.

Lucas is a close ally of Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger.

Fox News reported that Lucas showed up on the scene as the FBI raided her office.

Fox News and The New York Times are reporting that the corruption probe into Lucas was opened by the FBI during the Biden Administration.

Federal officers raided the cannabis dispensary with their weapons drawn.

Three people from the cannabis dispensary were taken into custody.

FBI Raids Virginia Senate Leader’s Office Amid Probe

The FBI executed a search warrant Wednesday morning at the Portsmouth office of Virginia Senate President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas, part of an ongoing federal corruption investigation.

The FBI confirmed it was conducting a court-authorized search warrant in Portsmouth, but did not provide details on the scope or targets of the investigation.

Federal agents were seen at Lucas’s district office on Wednesday morning. Agents also entered a nearby cannabis dispensary identified as The Cannabis Outlet, which she opened in 2021.

Several entrances to the Cannabis Outlet parking lot were blocked by unmarked vehicles with flashing blue lights, as was an entrance to the senator’s office. Agents carried boxes and bags out of the shop’s back door.

“Today’s actions by federal agents are about far more than one state senator; they are about power and who is allowed to use it on behalf of the people,” Lucas said in a Wednesday evening statement. “What we saw fits a clear pattern from this administration: when challenged, they try to intimidate and silence the voices of those who stand up to them.”
