‘He’s Talking’: Did Biden’s Former Chief of Staff Squeal to Congress?

The walls may finally be closing in on Joe Biden’s inner circle. This week, former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, who effectively ran the White House during Biden’s first two critical years, showed up for a closed-door interview with staff from the House Oversight Committee. Did the ultimate Biden insider finally confirm what millions of Americans have suspected for years: that Biden’s mental decline was no secret inside the West Wing?

The House Oversight Committee, under the leadership of Chairman James Comer, is investigating whether Biden’s inner circle deliberately hid signs of his decline, whether his top aides shielded him from public scrutiny, propped him up behind the scenes, or even signed off on executive actions without his knowledge. If any of that proves true, it would confirm what critics have long feared: that Biden wasn’t running the country. His staff was.

So far, Klain’s testimony remains sealed, but sources say both Republican and Democrat staffers pressed him hard. After all, the American public has watched Biden’s mental slide play out in real time, with constant gaffes, blank stares, and bizarre behavior that have become almost routine. Now, Congress is trying to get to the bottom of what may be the biggest presidential scandal in modern history: the attempted cover-up of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the disturbing questions about who was calling the shots during his failed presidency.

Klain’s testimony quickly became the focus for both sides. Reports from the first hour revealed that Klain’s demeanor was serious, measured, and, somewhat surprisingly, forthright.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) told reporters about an hour into the closed-door interview that Ron Klain was fully cooperative and didn’t dodge any questions from Republicans.

“I found Mr. Klain to be very credible,” Khanna said. “He answered every single question. He was fully cooperative. There were times he was asked about personal conversations with the president, and he was forthcoming. I really appreciate his candor and the comprehensive way he responded.”

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) offered a more measured take, telling Fox News Digital that Klain appeared to be doing his best to answer truthfully. “Yeah, when I say credible, I think he is telling what he knows accurately. I mean, he’s trying to be accurate,” Biggs said. “In my opinion, he’s not trying to avoid the questions. He’s answering carefully, saying the things I kind of expected him to say. But he’s been answering forthrightly and in the way he sees the world.”

Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) also gave a cautious thumbs-up during a break in the session. “I think we’re having a very good transcribed interview. Mr. Klain is being fairly responsive to our questions,” Comer said.

GOP senator demands National Archives turn over all documents on Biden’s health

Senator Ron Johnson, R-Wis., is demanding the National Archives turn over all records related to former President Joe Biden’s health and cognitive decline. Johnson sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio last week, who is serving as the acting U.S. archivist. In the letter, Johnson said he is conducting an investigation into “the cover-up of Biden’s health.”

My office has been reviewing the allegations that former President Biden, cabinet members, and his staff covered up his declining mental and physical health over the course of his presidency,” Johnson wrote in the letter, first obtained by Fox News Digital.

The investigation comes just days after Biden’s son, Hunter, said on a podcast that his father was taking Ambien before his first presidential debate last year. But Biden’s publicly available medical records do not list Ambien as a medication he was prescribed.

The Autopen Presidency Controversy Is Just Beginning

Now that investigations into the autopen presidency are underway, left-leaning media and Democratic politicians are finally confronted with the truth that was right in front of our faces for years: Joe Biden was not running the country, and America was being led by an unelected, unaccountable polit-bureau.

Every week we learn more that makes the long national nightmare we endured even worse. Now, thanks to the New York Times, of all places, we learn that Joe Biden couldn’t even manage the task of signing his own name on pardons of violent and dangerous criminals, and at best, only knew of categories of those being pardoned.

President Biden was forced to bow out of his campaign after he embarrassed the political class and media elite during that fateful June 27 debate with Donald Trump – but he was NOT forced to resign from the most powerful office on Planet Earth.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced at the Republican National Lawyers Association policy conference in May that he was determined to conduct full investigations to get to the truth for the American people.

Thankfully, Comer is making good on his promise – but it’s not going to be easy.

On July 9, after the Trump administration released the Biden family doctor from the burden of executive privilege, Dr. Kevin O’Connor began the trend of refusing to answer the Oversight Committee’s questions and chose to plead the Fifth Amendment, presumably to protect himself from criminal self-incrimination.

Chairman Comer declares he will “continue to interview more Biden White House aides to get the answers Americans deserve,” and with former press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announcing her own forthcoming book on the heels of “Original Sin” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, it’s expected that more will come out that further confirms Biden’s mental and cognitive incapacity.

Some legal experts have agreed that an autopen signature could be legal, but we never seriously considered signing laws using the autopen until Barack Obama signed Patriot Act extensions while he was in France in 2011. Obama left congressional Republicans questioning the validity of such use when he again used an autopen to sign the 2013 “fiscal cliff” legislation during one of his Hawaii vacations.

Another Senior Biden Official Pleads the Fifth, Refuses to Testify on Biden’s Health Decline – Comer Fumes

Another top Biden advisor refused to testify on Joe Biden’s health decline.

Senior Joe Biden advisor Annie Tomasini pleaded the Fifth Amendment and did not answer any questions.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer recently identified five Biden aides who were involved in the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline and the autopen scandal.

Comer demanded testimony from former Dr. Kevin O’Connor and four former aides related to the Biden health scandal.

Chairman Comer had demanded testimony from: Biden White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Director of Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden, Former Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to First Lady Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, Former Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini, Former Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams.

Annie Tomasini didn’t say a word to reporters as she walked into her deposition.

Biden Admits He Didn’t Sign Pardons. Emails Show Staff Did It For Him

Former President Joe Biden has admitted that he didn’t manually sign all of the pardons he issued before leaving office in January.

In a softball interview with The New York Times that ran on Sunday, Biden revealed that his staff used an autopen device to replicate his signature on clemency documents due to the large volume.

“I made every decision,” Biden told the leftist outlet. Defending the use of the autopen, he added that “we’re talking about a whole lot of people.”

The one-term president’s admission comes as the Trump-era White House, the DOJ and Congress launch separate investigations into the legitimacy of the pardons. Some experts argue are illegitimate because they were never physically signed by Biden.

Biden downplayed Trump’s concerns about the potential abuse of the autopen in remarks to The Times“I understand why Trump would think that, because obviously, I guess, he doesn’t focus much. Anyway, so — yes, I made every decision.”

Emails turned over by the National Archives show then–Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, not Biden, authorizing the autopen.

“I approve the use of the autopen for the execution of all of the following pardons,” Zients wrote in one exchange, according to the outlet.

Former White House staff secretary Stefanie Feldman managed the process. She reportedly ran the clemency documents through a device and receive “blurbs” claiming Biden had approved them.

Responding to concerns that he was incapacitated and that aides exploited the autopen, Biden shot back:

“They’re liars. They know it. They know, for certain. I mean, this is — look, what they, they’ve had a pretty good thing going here. They’ve done so badly.”

Biden defended the pre-emptive pardons for his family when asked, claiming without evidence that Trump would have launched vindictive criminal investigations against them.

Karine Jean-Pierre Subpoenaed With Other White House Officials to Answer Questions About Biden Mental Health Cover-Up

Former Biden White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has been subpoenaed, along with some other key people, to answer questions about the cover-up of Biden’s mental acuity. It’s about time.

Gateway Pundit readers will recall that several weeks ago, KJP released a book about her time in the ‘broken’ Biden White House and declared that she was leaving the Democrat party to become an independent. At the time, some people speculated that she may have done this for legal reasons, desperately trying to distance herself from the administration.

If that was the case, it clearly didn’t work. She is going to have to answer some tough questions under oath.

FOX News reports:

Karine Jean-Pierre, more top Biden aides to appear in House cover-up probe

Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is expected to sit down with House Oversight Committee investigators behind closed doors in September, Fox News Digital has learned.

A House Oversight Committee aide told Fox News Digital that she’s one of four high-profile former Biden officials who have scheduled interviews with the panel.

Also expected to appear in the coming weeks are Ian Sams, former special assistant to the president and senior advisor in the White House Counsel’s Office; Andrew Bates, former deputy assistant to the president and senior deputy press secretary; and Jeff Zients, former White House chief of staff, the aide said.

Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., is investigating allegations that Biden’s former top White House aides covered up signs of his mental and physical decline while in office, and whether any executive actions were commissioned via autopen without the president’s full knowledge. Biden allies have pushed back against those claims…

Jean-Pierre is expected on Sept. 12, Sams on Aug. 21, Bates on Sept. 5, and Zeints on Sept. 18, Fox News Digital was told.

Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Pleads the 5th on Alleged Cover-Up of Joe Biden’s Cognitive Decline

Anthony Bernal, who served as the chief of staff for former first lady Jill Biden, refused to answer questions regarding an alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

Bernal, who has been nicknamed Jill Biden’s “work husband,” pleaded the Fifth during a “closed-door testimony” in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to the Hill.

Per the outlet, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed that Bernal had “pleaded the Fifth” when asked whether the former president had “ever instructed him to lie about his health” or if “any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the president.”

“Anthony Bernal — Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff — just invoked the Fifth Amendment during his congressional deposition,” Comer wrote in a post on X. “This week new reporting confirms President Biden’s aides took unauthorized executive actions during his presidency amid his cognitive decline.”

Comer added that it was “no surprise” that Bernal had invoked the Fifth Amendment “to shield himself from criminal liability.”

“During his deposition today, Mr. Bernal pleaded the Fifth when asked if any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the President and if Joe Biden ever instructed him to lie about his health,” Comer added. “This is a historic scandal and Americans demand transparency and accountability.”

WH Emails: Autopen Manager Was Given Pardon List Before Anybody Approved It

Joe Biden, like Punxsutawney Phil, emerged from his hole on Monday to explain his latest post-presidential crisis, the autopen.

He saw the shadow of the wreckage of his former administration, so I guess that means six more months of scandal.

It should have gone so well. After all, the source was a simpatico one: The New York Times, which — a little over a year ago, and six days before the presidential debate — published a piece titled “How Misleading Videos Are Trailing Biden as He Battles Age Doubts.” That was meant to explain how Republicans were improperly playing around with video to make him look senile. Less than a week later, he proved to America that he didn’t need the help from the GOP.

This time, it was a little more straightforward: “Biden Says He Made the Clemency Decisions That Were Recorded With Autopen.” Don’t question any of the pardons or commutations or clemencies he issued in his end-of-presidency spree, because even though he didn’t appear to be in his right mind to the casual observer, he was the one making the shots.

He and others then go on to say that the one making the shots was effectively chief of staff Jeff Zients.

“Mr. Biden did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people, he and aides confirmed,” the article read. “Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on the standards he wanted.”

However, he insisted that he gave oral permission for every pardon, including categorial pardons for entire classes.

Biden Admits He Did Not Individually Approve Most Pardons and Commutations.

Former President Joe Biden admitted in a New York Times interview that “assistants” were responsible for notifying the autopen manager as to who should receive a pardon or commutation. Biden merely signed off on broad “standards” for most acts of clemency.

“[T]he only things that really we read off names for were, for example, you know, was I, what was I going to do about, for example, Mark Milley?” Biden told the newspaper. For the most part, names were filled in by the Bureau of Prisons, and autopen use was managed by aides based on meeting notes and summaries. However, Biden defended this practice, claiming full awareness of each decision.

“I made every decision,” Biden said in a phone interview with the NYT. “We’re talking about a whole lot of people.” He accused President Trump and Republicans of lying, and suggested his actions with respect to figures like Milley and Dr. Anthony Fauci were a precaution against Trump being “vindictive” in office.

Biden authorized 25 high-profile pardons, nearly 4,000 commutations, and spared all but three death row inmates. However, the sole warrant he signed personally was for his son, Hunter Biden.

Republicans, led by House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), are investigating whether Biden’s mental decline allowed his aides to hijack the clemency process.

Some former aides have invoked the Fifth Amendment or retained legal counsel in response to the investigation.

The Biden Staff Coup Was The Biggest Conspiracy Against Americans In History

The past week finally blew the lid off the worst political corruption scandal of the 21st century. And if you’re not sure what I’m talking about, that means the criminal conspiracy behind it is already winning.

The revelations of the last seven days indicate that the coverup and exploitation of former President Joe Biden’s deteriorating health by his inner circle were more treacherous than first suspected. Moreover, we now know for sure that their conspiracy is still active.

Exhibit A: Last Wednesday, Joe Biden’s White House Physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, finally appeared before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee after months of delays. He was subpoenaed as part of the committee’s investigation into the former president’s mental incapacity.

As the president’s official physician, O’Connor would have been consulted — and probably conducted neurological assessments on his patient — as soon as Biden started falling down in public in early 2021. He may have also tested and treated him for prostate cancer. O’Connor knows better than anyone when, how quickly, and how badly the president fell into cognitive and physical decline.

He knows who else in the White House knew. He knows what steps were taken to conceal the president’s condition from the public — and how he abetted those deceptions. It was no surprise, then, that when O’Connor’s deposition began, he took the Fifth.

Exhibit B: On Friday, Ashley Williams came in for questioning. Williams was Biden’s deputy director of Oval Office operations while in the White House and still works in his post-presidency office. She had — and has — a front-row seat to Biden’s decline and, like O’Connor, had firsthand knowledge of the White House’s coverup.

Williams did not take the Fifth. She did not have to. As luck would have it, Williams doesn’t remember anything about working alongside President Biden for the last five years.
