Ottawa Police announce digital surveillance of Freedom Convoy protesters, supporters, and donors
The Ottawa Police Service has announced a new operation where it is partnering with federal intelligence agencies to create “enhanced intelligence operations and investigations” that will target individuals who are taking part in and supporting the Canadian Truckers Freedom Convoy.
The Ottawa police said that it’s partnering with the US’s FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to investigate “online threats.”
Ottawa police the “enhanced investigation” will start with focusing on those who were involved in organizing the protest convoy and will use surveillance to “identify and target protestors who are funding/supporting/enabling unlawful and harmful activity by protesters.”
The police also said they are focusing on gathering “financial, digital, vehicle registration, driver identification, insurance status, and other related evidence that will be used in criminal prosecutions.”
Ottawa Police have also said they’re working with police agencies across Ontario, the RCMP, and Sûreté du Québec.
Unvaccinated dad loses custody of kids; judge waves away dad’s research on jabs
An unvaccinated father in New Brunswick, Canada, lost custody of his children, including an immunocompromised 10-year-old, after a judge ruled in favor of the mother late last month, according to reports.
The parents, who were not identified in the court ruling, had separated in 2019 but shared custody of their three kids. Last year, the mother asked to have the custody agreement changed because the father and his new wife refuse to be vaccinated and in light of their daughter’s ongoing treatment for non-cancerous tumors in her blood vessels, according to CBC News.
Justice Nathalie Godbout said she made the decision with a “heavy heart” but it was necessary for the child’s health amid the coronavirus pandemic and the recent effects of the omicron variant.
The court also ruled that despite the father’s lack of consent, the mother could vaccinate the children.
Family Kicked Off Their Own Property, Fined for Living Sustainably As Politicians Ignore Them
There is no question that 2020 was one of the most difficult years in American history. As the government shut down the economy, driving unemployment to record levels and forcing businesses to close their doors forever, tens of millions of Americans found themselves in dire straits. To deal with the unprecedented hard times, some folks like Tim Leslie and his family began to get creative, buying property and homesteading. However, because the land of the free is but a fleeting memory in this country, government officials did all they could to thwart it.
We first reported on the Leslie family last year after Tim lost his job due to the pandemic. With no other options in mind, he bought a plot of land in Polk County, parked an RV on it and began to live off the land. On the property, Leslie has chickens, goats, and a vegetable garden for his wife and their two kids, 9-year-old Knox and 18-month-old Daisy.
The family planned on building their “forever home” on the property where they would retire. Unfortunately, however, that has yet to happen. TFTP has been keeping up with Leslie over the last year and they keep hitting speed bump after speed bump.
As we reported at the time, after he was fired, Leslie took his life savings — draining his pension and 401(k) — and bought the property in Polk County. The purchase took place in November of 2020.
The family’s dreams of homesteading on their own property came to a grinding halt, however, and has morphed into a nightmare thanks to the intrusive and utterly cruel nature of the state. They were kicked off their property just days before Christmas.
‘Pro-Free Speech’: Washington State Governor’s Plot to Criminalize Election Fraud Complaints Moves Forward
Candidates and elected officials complaining about election fraud would be slapped with a gross misdemeanor charge, fine, and/or jail sentence under a plan by Washington’s far-Left governor Jay Inslee. The anti-free speech bill has now advanced from a Democrat-controlled committee with a “do-pass” recommendation to the state legislature.
And you thought it couldn’t get worse.
In 2020, Democrat governors and their underlings used COVID-19 as the excuse to change election laws, many times using emergency powers sans legislature, expand mail-in balloting, and remove what few security measures remained, such as signature matching. Recently, a state court ruled that Pennsylvania election changes by fiat were illegal under the state constitution. These aren’t lies. They happened. They may have changed the results of the election. The take over of local elections offices by Mark Zuckerberg’s “Zuck Bucks” also continues to fuel complaints. But Washington’s Gov. Inslee believes people seeking or holding elective office who complain about election chicanery should be punished for holding those wrong-thoughts. They should be silenced and maybe even jailed for up to a year.
In Inslee’s bill, loudly complaining about election fraud that accused complainers knew was bogus, as adjudged by a “jury” according to the governor, could lead to violence. The person who uttered the words should go to jail, he reasons. Inslee has never said these words in response to the Antifa and BLM riots during the election of 2016 and 2017 to depose the democratically elected Donald Trump

Ottawa Police Team Up With Federal Intelligence Agencies, Including US DHS and FBI, to Launch “Enhanced Intelligence Operations and Investigations” Against Truckers For Freedom Convoy
Thousands of trucks have gridlocked the Canadian capital city of Ottawa for almost a week, with protesters aiming to pressure Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to end all mandates and lockdowns associated with Covid-19. Participants are refusing to leave until the authoritarian restrictions are lifted completely, and with both sides not budging, the Canadian government is turning to drastic measures in an attempt to crush the grassroots uprising.
On Friday, the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) announced they are pairing with several federal intelligence agencies and other law enforcement divisions to launch “enhanced intelligence operations and investigations” that will target individuals who are participating in the Canadian Truckers For Freedom Convoy.
US law enforcement agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), will also assist with the crackdown by investigating “online threats that originated in the US,” despite little to no evidence or behavior that has indicated any violence is being planned.
According to the OPS statement, the ‘enhanced investigation’ will begin targeting the key figures who are behind the organization of the convoy as part of the Canadian government’s “increased effort to identify and target protestors who are funding/supporting/enabling unlawful and harmful activity by protesters.”

Off-Duty Cop Saving Family from Intruder, Killed by Fellow Cops Who Mistook Him for a Criminal
As TFTP reports all too frequently, defending yourself and others in the land of the free can often be a deadly act thanks to police. In case after case, TFTP has reported on heroic individuals who have defended their families and even complete strangers only to be executed by police who show up — after the hero stopped the villain — only to shoot first and ask questions later.
The family of Vancouver Police Officer Donald Sahota learned this the hard way over the weekend. Sahota attempted to defend his family from an armed intruder and his fellow police would kill him for it.
According to police, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Chevron on Northeast 117th Avenue in Vancouver, Wash. According to a 911 caller, the suspect had entered the store, pointing a gun at the gas station clerk’s chest while demanding cash. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect fled in a stolen dark-colored Mercedes, after robbing the store of several hundred dollars. Police intercepted the suspect traveling northbound on I-205 where a chase began for several miles.
“I was working my till at 8:15 p.m. Dude walks through the door, pulls out a pistol right out of his pocket, aims it at my chest holding his hand over the slide,” the clerk said.
After a miles-long chase, the suspect ditched the vehicle and happened to show up at Sahota’s home. According to police, the suspect banged on the door, claiming he was in a car crash and needed help.
Sahota — bravely protecting his family from an armed robber — grabbed his gun and went outside to confront the suspect.
According to police, a struggle ensued and Sahota was stabbed by the suspect before losing control of his pistol. After knocking the off-duty cop to the ground, the suspect went inside Sahota’s home, where his wife was hiding.
The off-duty cop then picked up his firearm and ran back into the home to stop the suspect. Unfortunately, however, as Sahota ran inside, Clark County officers arrived on the scene to shoot first and ask questions later.
As Sahota tried to save his wife, he was gunned down by responding officers who mistook him for the suspect. Sahota was hit several times and died as medics tried saving him.
The unnamed suspect was taken into custody without incident after police killed the officer who was trying to stop him. According to OPB, the incident is being treated as an officer-involved shooting and is being investigated by the Lower Columbia Major Crimes Team.
Police Chief Gets No Jail, Allowed to Retire, Gets $72k in Benefits After Guilty Plea in Sex Assault Case
Marshfield, WI — In January of last year, Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza was arrested and charged with three counts of misconduct in office, disorderly conduct, and fourth-degree sexual assault against a department employee. However, instead of facing a jury of his peers for these accusations, Gramza received tens of thousands of dollars, months of paid vacation, and no jail time.
Last month, Gramza was given a sweetheart plea deal and all of the above charges were reduced to two disorderly conduct charges — on both of which he was immediately found guilty. After paying a measly $661 fine, Gramza will be free and clear.
According to reports, the former chief Gramza is accused of sexually assaulting a department employee on several occasions, as early as 2014 and as late as this past summer.
WSAW reports the Eau Claire detective sergeant investigating the case shared some specific instances the employee told him, including one in 2015, where she says she went into his office to talk about a promotion and then he sexually assaulted her.
