Police Cross Paths With Innocent Mentally Ill Man, Kill His Dog, Put Him in ICU

 A disturbing video illustrating the problem with police in America and their inability to deal with the mentally ill, surfaced over the weekend. What it shows is that when your only tool is a hammer, people in a mental health crisis and even their dog will be pounded like nails. George Barlow, 32, and his dog, learned this the hard way over the weekend when their paths crossed with Inyo County Sheriff’s deputies.

According to police, “on July 24 shortly after 2:00am Inyo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic violence restraining order violation at 969 Tu Su Lane. Upon arrival of the deputies, neither the reporting party nor the suspect could be located. While looking in the area, the deputies noticed a male subject across the street at the Chevron station, which was closed; the subject was agitated and yelling.”

The man yelling was Barlow. He was alone, was not the person police were looking for, breaking no laws, and had harmed no one. Despite these facts, police decided to initiate a confrontation with him which proved to be deadly for his dog and put Barlow in ICU.

Police claim that when they approached Barlow, he “charged the deputy with his pit bull closely behind him.” This is not seen on the video posted to social media. The video shows a shirtless Barlow with his hands up, clearly frightened of what is going on and just trying to get away. According to the police statement:

The deputy continually ordered Barlow to stop charging. When Barlow came within 10 feet, the deputy deployed his Taser. Due to the heavy clothing Barlow was wearing, the Taser had no effect on Barlow. Barlow removed his heavy sweater.

The second deputy responded to the Chevron at this point and after Barlow refused to follow commands, he deployed his Taser striking Barlow in the upper abdomen. This caused Barlow to fall to the ground. Before the deputies were able to handcuff him, Barlow sat up and removed the Taser darts.

After tasering the man who was doing nothing but standing in an empty parking lot, police then pulled out their batons and started wailing on him. Naturally, this caused Barlow to attempt to protect himself from the officers, and his dog as well. As Barlow grabbed the police baton to stop it from smashing in his skull, one of the officers can be heard on the video saying, “shoot the dog.”

Moments later, an officer shot Barlow’s dog causing Barlow to jump up and run away. When police caught up with Barlow in the parking lot next door, they released their dog this time, which was not nearly as nice as Barlow’s pit bull.

In the second video, Barlow is seen on the ground as the dog can be heard snarling and tearing into his flesh. The attack was so over the top that the people filming began yelling at the officers to get their dog off of him. The deputies didn’t listen.

Barlow’s injuries were so severe that according to his family, he is currently on life support. They have since launched a GoFundMe for Barlow, who they say is a victim of racial bias in policing as he was a Native American..

A Bad Cop’s Best Friend?

One morning in late January 2019, Rhogena Nicholas texted a prayer to her mother, Jo Ann Nicholas, just as she did every day. A widow in her eighties, Jo Ann could no longer make the four-hour drive from Natchitoches, Louisiana, to visit her daughter and her son-in-law, Dennis Tuttle, at their bungalow in the Pecan Park neighborhood of southeast Houston, but the family remained close, texting and speaking on the phone regularly. Rhogena, 58, worked as a bookkeeper, among other jobs. That afternoon, on January 28, she called Jo Ann to warn her against venturing outside in the icy weather gripping central Louisiana. Then she said goodbye, telling her mother that she and Tuttle were going to take a nap.

Less than an hour later, eleven armed Houston Police Department officers broke down the door of 7815 Harding Street and killed Rhogena, Tuttle, and their dog in a fusillade of bullets; autopsies would reveal that police shot Rhogena three times and Tuttle nine times. Four officers were also shot, allegedly by Tuttle, a 59-year-old disabled Navy veteran.

At a press conference that evening, Houston police chief Art Acevedo said that a neighbor had tipped off officers that heroin was being sold at the Harding Street home, leading a judge to issue a search warrant. Then Joe Gamaldi, the 37-year-old president of the Houston Police Officers’ Union, stepped up to the microphones.

A native of Long Island who started his career in the New York Police Department, Gamaldi has a slender build and short stature—his former NYPD partner affectionately calls him a “good little man”—that belie his street fighter instincts. And on this night, with four of his officers in the hospital, he was ready for a brawl.

“We are sick and tired of having dirtbags trying to take our lives,” Gamaldi announced in his reedy New York accent, jabbing his forefinger at the assembled reporters. “And if you’re the ones that are out there spreading the rhetoric that police officers are the enemy—well, just know, we’ve all got your number now.” To Gamaldi, the deadly Harding Street raid was the latest skirmish in what he considers a war on cops being waged by a panoply of sinister left-wing groups.

Cops Jailed for Beating a Dozen Porcupines to Death With Batons On Duty, Filming It for Fun

 In the study of psychology, there is a term for those who hurt animals for personal pleasure. It is called intentional animal torture and cruelty and even has its own initialism, IATC. Psychologists have long studied the reasons behind why a person would intentionally harm an animal and the types of people associated with this behavior are often society’s worst. So, when two police officers beat porcupines to death with their batons, while another films it, it should certainly raise some red flags.

Last year, TFTP reported on two cops who filmed themselves beating porcupines to death and this week, they were finally held accountable — sort of. On Thursday, two former Rockland cops were sentenced to jail for beating a dozen porcupines to death with their batons while on duty.

While it is common knowledge that police officers kill dogs on a regularly basis, many folks don’t realize that cops also kill lots of small animals in sadistic ways as well.

In October, two Rockland police officers were arrested for animal cruelty for torturing and beating several porcupines to death — for fun. The animal cruelty charges were also accompanied by multiple night hunting violations for how and when the animals were beaten to death.

Addison Cox, 27, of Warren and Michael A. Rolerson, 30, of Searsmont were both charged Oct. 2 with Class C aggravated animal cruelty and a misdemeanor count of night hunting. Cox was also charged with misdemeanor unlawful use or possession of implements or aids. Rolerson was charged with misdemeanor illuminating wild animals or birds.

A third officer, Officer Kenneth Smith, was not charged nor fired despite filming the act and sharing it with other officers on Snapchat. According to the department, Smith is currently on administrative leave for another incident. According to the Village Soup, Smith is accused of posting a video of Rolerson killing a porcupine to Snapchat in June of 2020.

Alleged Serial Rapist Cop Used Dating Apps to Find Victims, Drug Them, & Violently Rape Them

When women saw his profile on dating apps, they likely felt comfort knowing the blind date they were about to attend was with a cop. However, that Birmingham Alabama Police Department officer was accused last week of rape. Following a complaint submitted to the police department an investigation was initiated which involved Birmingham Police Department’s Tactical Operations Precinct, its Special Victim’s Unit, and investigators inside the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office. According to the evidence, it appears that officer Matthew Wilcox was a serial rapist.

A search warrant was obtained for Wilcox’ home which uncovered a cache of weapons and drugs. Wilcox, 37, was subsequently arrested and charged with 1st Degree rape, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wilcox was transported to the Jefferson County Jail and later released when the officer, who was promptly relieved of his duties, posted bail in the amount of $26,000. Wilcox has been a member of the police department since 2019 and was assigned to patrol units.

Wilcox was allowed to resign from the Birmingham Police Department on Tuesday. Prior to joining the force in 2019, Wilcox served 9 years as a police officer with the University of Alabama Birmingham. Birmingham Police Department Chief Patrick Smith held a press conference and, one could conclude, was visibly shaken at the charges one of his officers was an alleged rapist. In a press conference held this week, Smith revealed some of the details of the investigation as well as his concerns Wilcox may have more victims who have not yet come forward.

He Lost His Eye After a Cop Allegedly Fired a Tear Gas Canister at His Face. The Officer Says He Has Qualified Immunity.


A man who says he lost an eye last summer while peacefully protesting has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana against the police officer who allegedly left him partially blind. The officer accused of firing the tear gas round into Balin Brake’s face is requesting qualified immunity, the legal doctrine that often protects state actors from being held accountable in civil court.

Brake, 22, says that on May 30, 2020, he arrived at the Allen County Courthouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a nonviolent demonstration following the death of George Floyd. While standing with his hands up, he claims, a group of officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) fired tear gas into the crowd, prompting them to retreat. One tear gas canister hit his right shoe, causing it to burn; he then looked back, at which point Officer Justin Holmes allegedly fired a canister that hit Brake in the face.
