Hunter Biden did business with missing mom Heidi Planck’s ‘fraudster boss’ – who was director of the financial firm that pitched multi-million-dollar deal to the president’s son Chinese partners in 2015, emails reveal

Missing California mother Heidi Planck’s boss was in business with Hunter Biden in China.

Planck, an accountant for accused fraudster financier Jason Sugarman, disappeared in Los Angeles on October 17.

The vanishing led police to question Sugarman, who is under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an alleged $43million fraud.

A SWAT team has raided Planck’s house and police have combed through a landfill for her remains, but her mystery disappearance remains unsolved.

Planck’s ex-husband believes the financier knows more about her disappearance than he has told detectives.

DailyMail.com can now reveal emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop which show Sugarman worked on a multi-million-dollar deal with the president’s son and his Chinese business partners in 2015.

Despite her case being one of the most heavily reported on at the time, her whereabouts continue to remain unknown.

How China Managed to Wipe Out All Mentions of Its Most Explosive #MeToo Case

Hours after Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai accused a former Communist Party official of sexual assault in a shocking online post, Eric Liu witnessed one of the most intensive censorship campaigns carried out before his eyes.

The process looked familiar to Liu, who worked as a content censor at Weibo, the microblogging site where Peng described how former Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli coerced her into sex before the two entered into an on-and-off affair. But the scale was unprecedented, the 34-year-old said, due to the shocking nature of Peng’s story, the sheer number of people on social media, and the Communist leadership’s growing desire to keep public opinion under control.

“It is an extremely grand-scale campaign,” said Liu, who quit the company in 2013 and is now tracking Chinese censorship for China Digital Times from the United States. “There is nothing that could be compared to this. Although more serious political events have taken place in the past, the internet censorship was not that strict. I would expect them to use their full capacity to carry this out.”

The Communist Party leadership regards any scandal involving its core members as a threat to its rule. Since Peng’s post came out, Beijing has sought to wipe it out from the country’s history by banning media coverage, requiring around-the-clock human efforts from social media companies, and, through a system of punishments, coaxing citizens into self-censorship. It has demonstrated the country’s ability to keep its cyberspace insular even as the case was making international headlines every day.

The goal is to make Peng’s accusations taboo, just like the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown and the late Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo, so even those who have read the post would avoid talking about it, letting the incident recede from memory and lose its significance as China’s biggest #MeToo case.

D.B. Cooper Skyjacking Case Turns 50

Fifty years ago this evening, a mysterious individual who later came to be known as D.B. Cooper became a part of American folklore by way of a brazen skyjacking that remains unsolved to this day. The iconic case began on November 24th, 1971 when a largely nondescript man wearing dark sunglasses and wielding a briefcase boarded a normally routine flight from Seattle to Portland. Once in the air, he slipped a flight attendant a note stating that he had a bomb and, after showing her what appeared to be the explosive device, informed her that he wanted $200,000 in cash as well as four parachutes. What followed next was a daring caper that has continued to baffle researchers for decades.

The hijacked flight subsequently landed at a nearby airport where the other passengers, unaware of the drama unfolding around them, were evacuated and the money was delivered to the airliner by authorities looking to resolve the matter as peacefully as possible. The plane then took off once again en route for Mexico City, per the man’s instruction, with only him and the crew remaining aboard. Shortly thereafter, he walked to the back of the aircraft and opened a staircase that descended from the rear of the plane. Grabbing the $200,000 and strapping on a parachute that had been provided by police, he jumped from the plane and vanished into history.

The FBI immediately launched an exhaustive investigation into the case and set out searching for the skyjacker, who had actually gone by the name ‘Dan Cooper’ when he boarded the plane. However, the man was soon dubbed ‘D.B. Cooper’ due to an error in an initial media report that wound up being picked up by the wire services and, in turn, stuck to the suspect ever since. The wild nature of the crime, specifically the skyjacker bailing from the plane in mid-air, generated headlines around the world. However, the widespread attention and the best efforts by the authorities proved fruitless when it came to determining the identity of the mysterious man.

Perhaps the biggest break in the case occurred around five years later when a young boy stumbled upon a bundle of money from the skyjacking on a remote beach near Vancouver, Washington. Although the discovery provided some insights into what might have become of the man after he jumped from the plane, it did not answer the big questions surrounding the story, specifically who was D.B. Cooper and did he survive his harrowing leap? Over the ensuing decades, the FBI continued trying to crack the case until finally announcing in 2016 that they were suspending their active investigation, but were willing to look at any new potential evidence that may come up in the future, as happened the following year.

In addition to the official law enforcement investigation, the D.B. Cooper case has also become a cottage industry for armchair researchers, who have fastidiously pored over the details of the event and put forward all manner of potential suspects. Recent years have seen a resurgence of interest in the quintessential American mystery with a variety of books, documentaries, and TV specials devoted to trying to unmask the man at the center of the strange story, yet he remains a cipher. One enlightening development from this proverbial Cooper renaissance is that some of the key witnesses from the flight have come forward to share their first-hand experiences from the skyjacking.

FBI Conducts Search of New Jersey Landfill for Jimmy Hoffa’s Remains

In a surprising development surrounding one of America’s most enduring mysteries, the FBI recently conducted a search of a New Jersey landfill for the remains of missing Teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa. The latest chapter in the legendary cold case, which began back in 1975 when the union president vanished without a trace, was reportedly brought about by a deathbed confession from a former worker at the site. The circuitous claim is that the man’s father had been tasked with burying Hoffa’s body in a steel drum at the Jersey City location which sits beneath a bridge known as the Pulaski Skyway. While the tale may sound like some kind of boastful last-minute claim to fame, it was apparently compelling enough for the FBI to take action.

Being understandably vague about the matter, the bureau confirmed that they had visited the landfill last month and conducted a search of the area, though they refrained from saying that they were looking for Hoffa’s remains. That said, given the very specific nature of the spot and that it came to light by way of the deathbed tip, which had generated considerable publicity over the last year or so, it is fairly obvious that the endeavor was connected to the case of the missing Teamster boss. It remains to be seen whether or not the deathbed confession ultimately leads to the mystery being solved after nearly five decades or if it winds being yet another fruitless fishing expedition like so many in the past.

Murder Charges Filed, Human Remains Found in Missouri Case That Fueled Gruesome TikTok Rumors

Two men charged in September with felony kidnapping have now been charged with murder in the missing persons case of Cassidy Rainwater, a Missouri woman who appeared caged and partially nude in photos sent to the FBI.

On Wednesday, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department announced the murder charges against Timothy Norton, 56, and James Phelps, 58, in a statement on Facebook, and court documents reveal new disturbing details of the case. An amended criminal complaint shows the two men each still face a kidnapping charge as well as a felony count of abandonment of a corpse, saying they “knowingly disposed of the corpse of Cassidy Rainwater” at or near Phelps’ property without notifying authorities. Court documents reveal that beyond showing Rainwater in a cage, additional photos the FBI had shared with county detectives in September showed Rainwater’s body “bound to a gantry crane device (commonly used for processing wild game),” and depicted her “evisceration and dismemberment.” Authorities had also found what were confirmed by lab testing to be Rainwater’s remains packaged in a freezer and dated “7-24,” court documents said, and had discovered skeletal remains on the property that they believe to be Rainwater’s, as well. They allegedly recovered messages between Phelps and Norton planning Rainwater’s murder on Jul. 24.

Chinese tennis star, 35, vanishes after she was censored from the internet for accusing country’s former vice premier, 75, of sexual abuse

A Chinese tennis player has vanished a week after accusing the country’s former vice premier of sexual abuse.

Peng Shuai, 35, accused 75-year-old Zhang Gaoli of forcing her to have sex with him in a lengthy post uploaded to Weibo, the Chinese Facebook equivalent.

The post was soon deleted and all of her recent content on the site has been scrubbed. The word tennis (‘wangqiu’) was even censored on the social network.

The athlete, who became a household name after winning the French Open doubles in 2014, has not been seen since.

While China has been rocked by #MeToo scandals before, this is believed to be the first involving a high-ranking member of the Communist Party.

Gavin Newsom Reappears, Claims He Skipped Climate Conference to go ‘Trick-or-Treating’

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has reappeared in public for the first time since October 27th, claiming he missed the Cop26 climate conference to go ‘trick-or-treating’ with his children.

Newsom spoke at the California Economic Summit, where he complained about the “treadmill” of work he had to plough through.

Fox News reports that Newsom’s children held an “intervention” during a family dinner because they “couldn’t believe I was going to miss Halloween.”

“He ultimately decided to stay home because the “knot” in his stomach was too much to bear,” according to the report.

Breitbart’s Joel Pollak wondered why Newsom had to miss the climate summit given that it is still ongoing and Halloween was 10 days ago.

“In addition to family, Newsom claims he has devoted the past two weeks to work — though he spent Saturday at the lavish wedding of billionaire oil heiress Ivy Getty, with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) officiating the nuptial vows,” he writes.

California Governor Newsom mysteriously vanishes from public life after vaccination

Governor Gavin Newsom has not been seen in over two weeks, leading foes and fans alike to wonder about his health, their imaginations running wild due to his receiving a Covid-19 booster shot at his last public appearance.

The California governor was last seen receiving a Moderna booster shot on live television, something many politicians have done in order to bolster confidence in the controversial shots. However, he has not been seen publicly since receiving that jab on October 27, his absence feeding the rumor mill about his whereabouts and health.

For the climate-defending governor to miss COP26, the Cannes of climate change, especially signaled something very wrong to Newsom’s critics and supporters. While a press release from his office two days after his ‘disappearance’ cited “family obligations” as his reason for staying stateside during the Glasgow festivities, it also claimed he would participate in the conference remotely. Rather than phone in to the event, however, Newsom ultimately sent his lieutenant governor, Eleni Kounalakis, in his stead.

Newsom’s personal account tweeted a warning that “COVID cases are beginning to rise” on Tuesday, demanding citizens get their booster shots. However, like a post last week celebrating health authorities’ approval of the Pfizer vaccine for young children, the tweet did little to pour cold water on the feverish speculation about where the governor had gone.

At least NINE bodies have been discovered since September during the massive searches for Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie

The massive search for Gabby Petito after the Florida woman vanished in September and was later found dead in a Wyoming national park has resulted in at least nine bodies of other missing people being discovered.

Authorities began searching for Petito when she was reported missing on September 11. Her body was found in Wyoming on September 19, two days after Laundrie, the sole person of interest in her death, disappeared from his home in Florida.

The search for Laundrie may have come to an end Wednesday when human remains were found in the Florida reserve where the prime suspect in her death had escaped

But the national manhunt and suspected sightings of Laundrie by police everywhere from Florida to along the Appalachian trail to the West Coast have uncovered other tragic victims.

The most recent body found was that of 22-year-old Emily Ferlazzo in a case with shocking similarities to Petito’s. Ferlazzo was reported missing by her parents on Monday after her 41-year-old husband, Joseph Ferlazzo, returned to her parents’ house in New Hampshire to tell them he had not seen his wife since Saturday.

The couple were living in a small bus that they had renovated into a home and had driven to Vermont to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. The day after Emily was reported missing, Joseph allegedly confessed to shooting her in the end and dismembering her body in their camper.
