Family Of Karmelo Anthony Asks For Millions In Donations After Murder Indictment

Things are not going well for Karmelo Anthony compared to a couple months ago.  Despite confessing to the stabbing that led to the death of athlete Austin Metcalf at a track event on April 2, 2025 in Frisco, Texas, Anthony was given greatly reduced bail and allowed to remain under house arrest by a progressive activist judge.

Anthony’s family posted a public fundraiser on GiveSendGo which ultimately raised over $500,000 for legal expenses.  Many of the donations included racially charged messages calling for Karmelo to be “protected” regardless of his crime simply because he is black and his victim was white.  The stabbing has been represented as an act of self defense, but also as “payback” against white people.

The call for donations was then amended to include money needed for “relocation” (a new home) after the family claimed they received threats.  Karmelo was allowed by Texas courts to leave the state for an “undisclosed location” until his trial, a highly unusual accommodation.  Furthermore, the Anthony’s have engaged in a press bonanza which has turned the case into a circus.

The family continues to assert that the stabbing of Austin Metcalf was an act of self defense, but video evidence might suggest otherwise.

Reporters have been allowed to view footage taken of the incident (footage that will not be released to the public) and there are no reports of Metcalf attacking Anthony.  Though accounts of the video are vague, there appears to be no evidence so far that Anthony was acting in self defense.  Not long after reporters were allowed to see the video, a Grand Jury issued an indictment for Karmelo Anthony. The charge is murder.

The Anthony’s are now asking donors for even more money, to the tune of $1.4 million.

The outcome should not be surprising given the known facts of the incident.  Anthony admits to stabbing Metcalf.  He admits to bring deadly weapon to a school track meet.  He admits to invading the tent of another team and witnesses say that he refused to leave when asked.  There is no report of Austin Metcalf having a weapon when he was stabbed by Anthony and deadly force cannot be legally used against another person unless a defender has a reasonable fear of mortal harm.

New Details Emerge: Kootenai County Sheriff Reveals Idaho Shooter Who Ambushed Firefighters Used a Shotgun NOT Sniper Rifle According to Preliminary Investigation

Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris has revealed that a shotgun was used in the deadly shooting in Coeur d’Alene that left two firefighters dead and another injured.

During his recent press conference, a reporter asked Norris, “Sir, could you describe the weapon?”

Norris responded, “It appears right now we have a shotgun that was used.”

He added, “But we’re still processing the scene.”

The reporter responded, “Obviously, a shotgun is not a sniper weapon.”

Norris answered, “Correct.”

He added, “Let me set up the scene for everybody. When you’re in a rural area, and your heavily tree’d heavily brushed, when you’re taken fire, it adds a whole different dynamic to teh situation.”

“So what was reported, by people on scene, by police officers on scene, they believed they were taken sniper fire, yes.”

On Sunday evening, Norris held an emergency press conference and stated, “We are actively taking sniper fire as we speak.”

After making the statement, it was widely reported that the shooter, who has now been identified as Wess Roley, used a sniper rifle.

Norris has not ruled out that a rifle was used completely and shared; authorities are still searching the scene to find any other weapons, including a sniper rifle.

Idaho SniperAccused 20-Year-Old Gunman Identified2 Firefighters Dead, 1 Critically Wounded

The man accused of sparking a forest fire and then ambushing firefighters in a calculated sniper-style attack in Idaho has been identified as 20-year-old Wess Roley, TMZ can confirm.

A law enforcement source tells TMZ Roley’s body was not taken to the Kootenai County Coroner’s Office in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, because they don’t actually hold bodies. Instead, his remains were transferred to the Spokane, Washington Medical Examiner’s Office, which handles cases from Kootenai County just across the state border.

Since his ID, a haunting photo has surfaced — showing Roley staring straight into the camera with a chilling, almost sinister glare.

After allegedly luring the firefighters to the blaze on Canfield Mountain near Coeur d’Alene, Roley engaged in a wild gun battle with police during a massive manhunt involving nearly 300 officers. Roley’s body was later found when they tracked down his cell signal in the woods.

FBI Compromised by Cartel Hacker Who Gained Control of Cameras, Multiple Left Dead in Fallout

Unidentified computer hackers associated with the Sinaloa drug cartel were able to garner phone records from the FBI, then used Mexico City surveillance cameras to compromise key informants and witnesses so they could murder them back in 2018, a new report showed.

This information was disclosed to the Justice Department in an Inspector General audit of the FBI’s efforts to “Mitigate the Effects of Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance,” according to Fox News.

The report cited the case against Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, who used to lead the cartel, but who was extradited to the United States back in 2017. While federal authorities were working the case, they were alerted to the hiring of a hacker “who offered a menu of services related to exploiting mobile phones and other electronic devices.”

The hacker “had observed people going in and out of the United States Embassy in Mexico City and identified ‘people of interest’ for the cartel, including the FBI Assistant Legal Attache (ALA T), and then was able to use the ALA T’s mobile phone number to obtain calls made and received, as well as geolocation data, associated with the ALAT’s phone,” the audit read.

“According to the FBI, the hacker also used Mexico City’s camera system to follow the ALAT through the city and identify people the ALAT met with,” the report continued. “According to the case agent, the cartel used that information to intimidate and, in some instances, kill potential sources or cooperating witnesses.”

The audit also highlighted how modern technology has “made it easier than ever for less-sophisticated nations and criminal enterprises to identify and exploit vulnerabilities created by” data from everyday items like smartphones and personal computers.

Some within the U.S. intel community, including CIA officials, described the threat as being “existential.”

This should send a message to the U.S. that computers have become the new battlefield. And we are still vulnerable in this area.

Even if the federal government expanded funding and continued using all the technology at its disposal, drug cartels can still gain the upper hand.

Karmelo Anthony Pleads Poverty and Asks for Public Defender Despite $600K Fundraiser, as Family Boosts Goal to $1.4M

Karmelo Anthony, the 18-year-old Texas teen indicted for the first-degree murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Frisco high school track meet in April, has requested a court-appointed public defender, citing financial hardship, despite his family’s GiveSendGo fundraiser raising nearly $600,000.

The family also recently raised the campaign’s goal to $1.4 million, sparking questions about the use of funds. Since the killing, the Anthonys have purchased a new Cadillac and moved into a $900,000 home.

Anthony fatally stabbed 17-year-old Metcalf in the heart at a track meet in Frisco, Texas. He died in the arms of his twin brother.

The killer, who claims self-defense, was released on house arrest with an ankle monitor after his bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000.

The “Help Karmelo Official Fund” on GiveSendGo, launched by Anthony’s family, had raised $595,000 as of June 26, 2025, initially targeting $350,000 before increasing to $600,000 and now $1.4 million.

The family claims the funds support legal defense, safe relocation due to threats, basic living costs, transportation, trauma counseling, and security measures.

Court records show Anthony’s previous private attorney, Mike Howard, is no longer listed, and on June 25, Anthony’s father, Andrew Anthony, announced the public defender request, claiming indigence.

Howard’s retainer was estimated to be between $10,000 and $30,000, with hourly rates ranging from $400 to $500.

REPORT: Travis County Prosecutors Allegedly Drop CAPITAL MURDER Charges Against Two of the Four Suspects in Brutal Killing of InfoWars Reporter Jamie White

Travis County prosecutors have allegedly dropped CAPITAL MURDER charges against two of the four suspects involved in the brutal, racially-motivated killing of InfoWars reporter Jamie White—a 36-year-old father and journalist murdered outside his Austin apartment earlier this year.

Jamie White, 36, was found fatally shot in the parking lot of his apartment complex in March.

According to police, the murder occurred during an attempted vehicle burglary by a group of four teenage suspects. White later died from his injuries at the hospital.

One of the suspects, Eloy Adrian Camarillo, 17, confessed to police that he and three of his friends were attempting to break into cars when they encountered White.

During the altercation, White was shot and killed.

Camarillo was originally charged with capital murder, and police made it clear that this was no random crime.

One of the suspects even bragged about the killing in a rap verse, calling the victim a “white boy,” strongly suggesting a racial motive behind the attack.

“White boy came outside / Hit his damn a– with a 9,” the disturbing lyrics from the phone of suspect Rodney Charles Hill reportedly stated.

Hill, 17, was the final suspect arrested, while two others—both under the age of 17—have not been publicly identified due to Texas law.

Karmelo Anthony’s spokesperson calls for unity ‘in the fight against White supremacy’ after first-degree murder indictment

A spokesperson for Karmelo Anthony, the now 18-year-old who admitted to fatally stabbing student Austin Metcalf at a Texas track meet, has asked people to stand with them “in the fight against White supremacy.”

Dominique Alexander, the founder and president of the Next Generation Action Network (NGAN), took to X to announce that “the legal process will move forward toward trial.”

“This case involves multiple minors and sensitive details that I cannot and will not speak about publicly,” he said. “That is why, from the beginning, I have refused to let this be tried in the court of public opinion.”

He then continued by speaking directly to those who he says have “targeted” Anthony.

“To the racists, the bigots, and those filled with hate who’ve targeted Karmelo, his family, and even myself – you do not intimidate us. We are not backing down.”

“This case is yet another example of what it means to be Black in America, where even our self-defense is questioned, scrutinized and politicized. My involvement – like many others — came as a direct response to the overwhelming hate, threats and outside influence that have surrounded this case since day one.”

Alexander concluded by asking Anthony’s supporters for prayers, to support due process, and to “stand with us in the fight against White supremacy.”

Suspect confesses to crucifying pastor in Arizona home – and had others on hit list

In a chilling jailhouse interview, the man accused of a gruesome, religiously motivated murder of a beloved pastor in Arizona said he had committed the crime and revealed he had a broader hit list of religious leaders he intended to kill during his murderous rampage.

Adam Christopher Sheafe, 51, told True Crime Arizona Monday that he crucified 76-year-old Pastor William Schonemann, known in the community as “Pastor Bill,” inside his New River home in April.

Sheafe said the attack was part of what he claimed was a divine mission to punish religious leaders who, in his view, were misleading followers.

“I drove from there (Phoenix) to Bill’s house, like two in the morning on a Sunday night, and I executed him,” Sheafe told the correspondent Briana Whitney, who sat across the table from him.

Schonemann was found dead in his bed, covered in blood, on April 28 during a welfare check.

During the interview, Sheafe spoke about the disturbing scene, which included details about a crown of thorns, which he said he made from what he found in the woods, and placed on Schonemann’s head.

“Because what I’m saying is, what you’re preaching is not what God said,” Sheafe explained. “It’s the opposite of what God said.”

Sheafe revealed that Schonemann was not his only target. Prior to the murder, he said he had followed a priest home after Easter services in Phoenix with the intent to kill him — the first of 14 intended “executions” across the country.

“Starting in Arizona, where I was born,” Sheafe said. “Where it starts is where it ends, like the Garden of Eden.”

But he claimed to have stopped that first attempt when two women unexpectedly entered the priest’s garage.

“I’m not interested in executing anyone other than the pastors or the shepherds leading the flock astray,” he said.

After killing Schonemann, Sheafe said he traveled to Sedona, where he planned to murder two more religious leaders. He would later be identified as the suspect in a burglary which led to a high-speed chase with Sedona police.

Campaign aide to socialist contender to become mayor of New York sympathized with Luigi Mangione in warped tribute

A campaign aide to socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani showed sympathy for alleged United Healthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione in posts online, the Daily Mail has learned.

Mamdani’s political director, Julian Gerson, posted on December 29th of 2024 on Facebook that he was ‘looking forward to driving down Mangione Avenue a few decades from now.’

In social media posts obtained by the Daily Mail, Gerson made the remark replying to a comment after he shared a personal essay on the impact Mangione was having on public discourse in the weeks after he allegedly murdered United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City.

In his essay, Gerson concluded that Manginone ‘is adored not only because he dared to target a leader of one of the most vile, self-enriching industries darkening our society today, but because he dared to defy the stasis of nihilistic rejection.’

‘The question is not whether he was right or wrong. It’s how many others he has shaken loose,’ Gerson concluded.

Per Gerson’s LinkedIn page, which bears the same profile photograph as his Facebook profile, he has worked for Mamdani’s mayoral campaign since March.

Mamdani’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Mail about Gerson’s post.

Mangione became a global phenomena due to the fascination around his privileged background and Hollywood good looks. For many on the left, he morphed into a vessel for radical rebellion against a system of economic injustice.

Mangione remains in custody and federal prosecutors have chosen to seek the death penalty if he’s convicted.
