Lockdowns are NOT ‘quietly improving cities,’ World Economic Forum concedes, deleting its much-ridiculed tweet

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has taken down its tweet that claimed lockdowns have been “quietly improving cities,” and admitted that is not the case. But the backdown didn’t spare the globalist titan from a new wave of mockery.

The WEF’s controversial message turned out to be quite short-lived, surviving less than a day on its feed under a barrage of outraged comments. The tweet was accompanied by a video, showing deserted streets and silent factories, that noted a record drop in carbon emissions. It also linked to an article claiming that silent cities contributed to better detection of minor earthquakes.

On Saturday, the organization deleted the tweet, accepting that coronavirus-induced lockdowns were not actually “quietly improving cities.” Still, it insisted that the restrictions have been “an important part of the public health response to Covid-19.”

World Economic Forum Says ‘Lockdowns Are Quietly Improving Cities Around the World,’ What They Want Next Is Scary

The quiet (from people being locked in, unable to work or carry on their lives) reduced the ambient noise, the WEF says. “As fewer people used transport and factories closed, the quiet enable scientists to record small earthquakes they would usually miss” and there were also “record falls in air pollution” and carbon emissions dropped seven percent. But it wouldn’t slow climate change, the WEF says, “unless we lock in emissions cuts.”

Think about what they just said there. The cuts came from people being completely disrupted and cut off from their lives. They want to lock those in. Sure sounds like they want the lockdowns to become permanent.

Talk about enemy of the people. Lockdowns are destroying cities around the world. Millions of people injured, shattered lives, education, and economies with a huge increase in suicides but to the WEF it’s “quietly improving cities around the world.” That’s sociopathic. They relish the ability to study earthquakes. But you study earthquakes primarily to save the people from them. You don’t celebrate doing in the people to study the earthquakes. Unless you’re demented and perverse. But hey, the “climate” will improve.

The WEF isn’t just some random fly-by-night radical organization, but one that really has influence over global leaders throughout the world. The forum has a famous yearly conference in Davos, Switzerland, with other meetings throughout the year where it “engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.” They’re pushing the “Great Reset” to change the world’s economies because of the “opportunity” of the pandemic.

“Deeply Unfair Move” – Baltimore Strippers Protest City’s COVID-19 Restrictions

Baltimore strippers showed up enforce at City Hall Wednesday to protest the mayor’s new coronavirus health measures that keep adult entertainment establishments closed, according to local television station WBAL

The announcement came from Mayor Brandon Scott earlier this week, who allowed restaurants to partially open with indoor capacity set to 25% and outdoor dining to 50%. He felt optimistic about current COVID-19 health trends in the city.

However, strip clubs were not permitted to open; this triggered outrage among sex workers who protested the City Hall Wednesday afternoon.

“This is a deeply unfair move, in our view,” an anonymous spokesperson for adult entertainment business owners in Baltimore said in a statement. “We’re being selectively targeted to stay closed. If you can open a gym or put on a stage show, you can have a gentleman’s club open. There’s some other agenda at work here, and it’s very insensitive to the not inconsequential number of people who make their livings through the adult entertainment industry.”

The statement also pointed out cooks, bartenders, janitors, security guards, and other tradespeople are also affected by the mayor’s harsh coronavirus measures.

After a Year of Crushing COVID Restrictions, Sharp 77% Drop in Cases Proves Herd Immunity Is What We Needed All Along

COVID-19 could be gone as early as April, as plunging infection rates suggest the United States is on the verge of achieving herd immunity.

That’s the prediction of Dr. Marty Makary, a surgeon and professor at Johns Hopkins University.

The left-wing media continues to stoke hysteria and panic as Democratic lawmakers push for more shutdowns. But Makary underscored that coronavirus cases have tumbled 77 percent over the past six weeks.

“At the current trajectory, I expect Covid will be mostly gone by April, allowing Americans to resume normal life,” Makary wrote Thursday in a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed.

COVID Enforcer Does ‘Happy Dance’ After Shutting Down Brewery

A COVID rules enforcer was caught on camera doing a ‘happy dance’ after she shut down a brewery in California under false pretenses right before the Super Bowl.

The health inspector arrived at 11am last Sunday to close down Bravery Brewery in Lancaster, California because it didn’t have a food truck, preventing the local craft brewery from making any money on one of the most profitable days of the year.

The inspector told owner Bart Avery that he had to cease trading despite the fact that the brewery was only pouring draught beer to go therefore didn’t need a food truck.

After being “decimated financially and emotionally” by the intrusion, Avery then discovered security footage of the inspector performing a happy jig after she had issued the shut down order.

Are you ready for the climate lockdowns?

Last week President Biden signed an executive order to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords. This was a mostly symbolic gesture, as the same alarmism being pushed prior to the agreement in 2016 is still being pushed now while nation-states like China are still ignoring it. Now Biden administration climate envoy John Kerry, under fire for boarding a private jet to Iceland to accept a climate award, is telling the United States and the world that the conditions of the Paris agreement are ‘inadequate’.

As the global climate elite push eating bugs and staying home to save the Earth on the masses, it’s worth posing the question: what will be adequate? With the Global Economic Forum in Davos approaching in April, we’re going to start hearing terms such ‘Climate Equity’ and ‘Climate Reset’ (a play on the WEF’s Great Reset) more frequently. We’ll probably also start to hear calls for climate lockdowns. I know, right now that sounds completely preposterous, but don’t these kooky ideas always find a way to bleed into the mainstream? Fifteen Days to Slow the Sun!

The possibility of climate lockdowns is already being floated by some of our greatest thinkers. They see a confluence of global crises as an opportunity. The perfect storm caused by COVID-19 and the resulting global economic meltdown offers a chance to take what they see as bold and dramatic action to save the planet. The Biden administration will certainly use the consequences of COVID to push through some green legislation, but just as before, it will not be enough in the eyes of progressives. There must always be more.

Mariana Mazzucato, an author and a professor in innovative economics at the University of London, raised the prospect of climate lockdowns in MarketWatch last September:

‘Under a “climate lockdown”, governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently.’

The idea of ‘doing capitalism differently’ is the driving rhetorical motivation behind the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset (another term for the implementation of global Marxism).
