Ilhan Omar’s hubby’s elusive winery under scrutiny from feds — and it violates Islamic law

Besides scrutiny from the feds, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s husband’s winery could land the embattled power couple in hot water with imams too.

Political consultant Tim Mynett converted to Islam to marry Omar, a practicing Muslim — but selling booze is strictly banned in Islamic law, which considers anything to do with alcohol sinful — or “haram.”

“I assure you that they got married in accordance with Islam and the law, and Ilhan’s husband converted to Islam,” a spokesperson for Omar’s office told BBC Somalia at the time of the 2020 wedding.

It was Mynett’s California-based wine company eStCru, together with his other allegedly shady business ventures, that helped propel the couple’s worth to up to $30 million and attracted a probe by the House Oversight Committee and the Department of Justice.

Omar claimed the wine biz was worth between $1 million and $5 million in her May 2025 financial disclosure, which covered the 2024 calendar year.

But by that point, the venture had gone belly-up for more than a year, adding to the mystery of why she would have placed such a high value on it in the first place.

“We’re not experts in Islamic law — but we’re pretty sure scamming the American people for a living violates every religion,” slammed Republican National Committee Press Secretary Kiersten Pels.

Independent Journalist Makes a Damning Discovery as She Visits the Principal Address Linked to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s ‘Winery’ – It’s Not There

The scandal surrounding Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) ‘winery’ has deepened after an intrepid journalist visited the alleged address and made an important discovery.

As TGP’s Jim Hoft previously reported, Omar and her husband Tim Mynett have claimed that they own a major winery called E Street LLC (ESTCRU) in California, but no one could find it.

Making things even more suspicious, the business’s revenue has exploded from roughly $25,000 in 2025 to $5 million.

All of this comes as sources have revealed that Omar’s wealth has skyrocketed to a whopping $30 MILLION, despite living on a congressional salary.

On Wednesday, independent journalist Angela Rose and an assistant decided to visit the principal address listed as Omar’s supposed winery. The name Punchdown Cellars is prominently displayed on the building.

Then, Rose notices a damning letter that raises even more questions about the ‘winery’:

She notices a letter in the window that says ESTCRU does not make wine at the location. In fact, they have not been clients of Punchdown Cellars for several years and have ceased operations.

The letter also notes that the ESTCRU’s operating address is linked only to this location due to state and federal filings.

Rose says she believes that this all means ESTCRU is just a shell business used to launder funds.

Water, Vinegar, and Suspicious Millions: Questions Surround Ilhan Omar

When they sprayed water on someone suspected of fraud, I said nothing, because I was not suspected of fraud…

Liberal accounts on social media are praising Rep. Ilhan Omar’s courage for raising her fist at her attacker after being squirted with a small amount of water. Mainstream media are quick to point out that the syringe did not contain only water but also apple cider vinegar, a non-irritant which, if it hits your face, can cause temporary blindness and a sour taste in your mouth. It is also known to remove stains from clothing.

Unlike President Trump, who missed one day of work after being shot, the courageous Ilhan Omar returned to the podium and defiantly continued her diatribe on why federal law enforcement should be discontinued. Where others might have been concerned that there was a chemical or biological weapon in the syringe, Omar pressed on, almost as if she knew she had been doused with salad dressing.

While recovering from the traumatic ordeal that left droplets of moisture on her blouse, Omar is reportedly under Justice Department investigation over questions surrounding her finances and the rapid growth of her personal wealth since entering Congress.

Critics point to financial disclosures showing her family’s assets grew from a reported negative net worth when she entered Congress in 2019 to 2024 estimates ranging between $6 million and $30 million.

President Trump has been criticized for claiming Omar went from having “NOTHING” in Somalia to being worth over $44 million. He has been attacked by the media, which claim the $44 million figure is an exaggeration, but whether the figure is $30 million or $44 million, it is reasonable to ask how she arrived at such a large sum in just a few years while earning about $175,000 per year.

Based on her own filings, the value of her husband’s stake in Rose Lake Capital jumped from a maximum of $1,000 to a minimum of $5 million in a single year. Despite signing these forms under penalty of perjury, Omar told Business Insider in February 2025 that the claim she is worth millions is “categorically false.” She went on to say that she is “barely worth thousands” and owns neither a house nor stocks. As a result, it appears that in some interviews she has suggested her net worth is less than $1 million, while in others she has attributed the growth in her net worth to prudent investment.

Forensic accountants and the House Oversight Committee are now looking for the “why.” They are investigating whether the 2024 valuation was a typo, a massive success for her husband’s firm, or related to broader federal investigations into billion-dollar fraud within Minnesota state assistance programs and Somali-linked charities, such as the “Feeding Our Future” fraud scandal.

Omar responded by accusing Trump of using conspiracy theories about her to distract from declining political support and policy failures, saying previous investigations found no wrongdoing while calling for federal immigration agents to leave Minneapolis and urging the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Steve Forbes Exposes Ilhan Omar’s ‘Fake’ Winery On Live TV

Veteran businessman and Forbes Media Chairman Steve Forbes delivered a blistering assessment of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) finances during a live Fox Business appearance, raising questions about her husband’s investment firm and a California winery that he suggested may not even exist.

The segment aired as scrutiny continues to build around Omar’s recent financial disclosures, which show her household net worth soaring from under $1,000 to estimates as high as $30 million in roughly a year. Much of that wealth is tied to business ventures associated with her husband, Tim Mynett, including an investment firm known as Rose Lake and a winery listed at multimillion dollar valuations.

“Weird is not the word for it. There’s another word for it called crooked,” Forbes said during the interview. “That’s why we have to have an investigation into this.”

He went further, questioning how both Omar and Mynett were able to amass such wealth so quickly after entering public life.

“It’s amazing how people can go into Congress and then become these entrepreneurial investing geniuses,” he said. “She had under a thousand dollars of net worth and her husband didn’t have much. And suddenly now they’re multimillionaires.”

After so many leftist hoaxes, it’s no wonder conservatives are questioning the Ilhan Omar attack

Racial division is easy news. Most Americans decry racism and hate crimes. It is one of the most unifying topics. Conservatives support the Constitution and the inherent human rights of American citizens. But in recent years, hate crime hoaxes have eroded trust in corporate mainstream reporting. Political theatre has become so theatrical that it’s difficult to know what’s real and what’s not anymore.

After years of false reports and massive mainstream hate crime hoaxes being discovered, connecting the dots displays an unbalanced number of democrats who emotionally manipulate the public by faking hate crimes for publicity. So it is no wonder that conservatives are now questioning a recent attack on an incredibly divisive political figure: Rep. Ilhan Omar, R-Minn.

Omar is currently under investigation for federal funding fraud, according to Resist The Mainstream. The Somali immigrant has been criticized for publicly speaking about putting Somalia before the United States, and The Center for Immigration Studies confirmed that her American citizenship may not be valid, as it is unclear whether or not she illegally married her brother to come to the U.S. and gain citizenship.

Ilhan Omar Blames President Trump For Liquid ‘Attack’ in Unhinged Rant

Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar on Wednesday evening blamed President Trump for the apple cider vinegar attack.

President Trump and others speculated that the so-called attack on Ilhan Omar was staged to distract from the probe into her mysterious jump in personal wealth.

A man, identified as 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak, charged at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar during a town hall on Tuesday evening and sprayed her with apple cider vinegar.

“DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign or face impeachment,” Omar said on Tuesday evening to applause.

A few seconds later, Kazmierczak rushed up to the podium and sprayed Omar with the foul-smelling liquid.

“We will continue! This f*cking a**hole is not going to get away with it!” Ilhan Omar shouted.

Ilhan Omar held a candlelight vigil for Alex Pretti, the violent armed man who was fatally shot by DHS agents while he was resisting arrest.

Omar claimed President Trump is “intimidating” her and blamed him for the apple cider vinegar attack.

When asked about the apple cider vinegar attack on Omar, Trump suggested it was staged.

“No. I don’t think about her,” Trump told ABC News. “I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”

The Muslima claimed she has to pay for security because Trump is “obsessed” with her.

“I wouldn’t be where I am at today, having to pay for security, having the government to think about providing me security if Donald Trump wasn’t in office and if he wasn’t so obsessed with me,” Omar said.

“It is ironic that just last night he was on stage moments before I was attacked talking about me, and then when asked about my attack, he said, ‘I don’t think about her,’” she added.

Man Charges at Ilhan Omar, Sprays Her with Unknown Substance During Town Hall

How was this man able to get so close to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar?

A man, identified as 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak, charged at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar during a town hall on Tuesday evening and sprayed her with an unknown substance.

“DHS Secretary Kristi Noem must resign or face impeachment,” Omar said on Tuesday evening to applause.

A few seconds later, Kazmierczak rushed up to the podium and sprayed Omar with a liquid.

Kazmierczak shouted something as he was tackled and apprehended.

“Oh my God! He sprayed something on her!” a town hall attendee shouted.

Ilhan Omar insisted to her security that she continue her event.

“We will continue! This f*cking a**hole is not going to get away with it!” Ilhan Omar shouted.

“No! No! Ilhan, we need to go get checked out,” a person said to Omar.

“Whatever it is smells so bad! She needs to get checked! I don’t know what that was! It’s not about him, it’s about your safety! He sprayed something on you!”

Ilhan Omar’s bodyguard tried to get her to leave, but she pushed back on him.

“Just give me 10 minutes. I beg of you,” Omar said to security.

Omar rebuffed her team’s requests to leave and continued demanding that Kristi Noem resign.

Kazmierczak was charged with 3rd degree assault.

Omar Now Under Investigation by the House Oversight Committee

A Fox News report is drawing renewed scrutiny to Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, after financial disclosures showed a dramatic increase in her household’s reported assets over a single year, prompting an ethics investigation by the House Oversight Committee.

During a Fox News segment, correspondent Nate Foy detailed the changes in Omar’s disclosed finances, focusing on the growth of assets tied to her husband’s business ventures.

“This woman Ilhan Omar’s net worth went up nearly $30 million the question is, how?” Foy said.

“Here’s what we know. Omar’s husband, a former political consultant, owns a venture capital firm based in Washington, DC, and a winery in California.”

Foy pointed to Omar’s congressional financial disclosures to illustrate the scale of the increase.

“Take a look at these numbers. In 2023 Omar disclosed a maximum of $50,000 in assets at the winery. The next year, Dana, that number increased to $5 million,” he said.

He also highlighted changes tied to Omar’s husband’s venture capital firm.

James Comer Says Ilhan Omar Is “At the Top of the Suspect List” in Massive Minnesota Fraud Scandal — Ethics Complaints Incoming, Claims Her Husband Profited

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer dropped a bombshell this week, suggesting that far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar sits “at the top of the suspect list” in the sprawling Minnesota fraud scandals involving taxpayer-funded daycare and healthcare programs.

The comments came during a pointed exchange with journalist Alison Steinberg, who raised serious concerns about whether members of Congress themselves may have benefited from money funneled through political action committees tied to fraudulent daycare and healthcare schemes.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn has leveled explosive allegations against Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, claiming that a lack of accountability regarding massive taxpayer fraud in Minnesota is linked to the Speaker’s own financial networks.

Minnesota has become ground zero for some of the largest pandemic-era fraud cases in U.S. history, involving the alleged theft of hundreds of millions of dollars intended to feed children and provide healthcare services.

Many of these cases have centered on networks tied to Somali-run nonprofits and daycare operations, fraud that went unchecked for years under Democrat leadership.

When asked how Americans can trust Congress to police fraud if lawmakers themselves are implicated, Comer made it clear that there is a formal mechanism to deal with corruption on Capitol Hill.

BUSTED: Ilhan Omar Caught Trying to Funnel $1M to a “Substance Abuse Clinic” Operating Out of a Restaurant Run by Three People at the Same Address — GOP TORPEDOES the Earmark

Another Minnesota money pipeline just got shut down, and this one leads straight back to Rep. Ilhan Omar.

The funding, which was tucked into a federal spending bill, was purportedly destined for a “substance abuse clinic” in Omar’s home state of Minnesota.

However, a shocking investigation led by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) revealed that the “clinic” was anything but legitimate.

During an interview on Fox Business, Senator Ernst detailed the absolute absurdity of the proposal, describing a trail of red flags that would make any honest taxpayer’s blood boil.

“What I uncovered the other day, in one of our spending bills making its way through Congress, was a $1 million earmark from Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

“This earmark was supposedly going to a substance abuse clinic, which actually happened to be housed in a restaurant and run by three individuals who share the same residential address, according to their IRS paperwork. Tons of red flags.

“So this is what we saw with the fraud involving the daycare centers. Now we see other earmarks coming directly from members of Congress where it seems fraud is being perpetrated as well.

“I raised the issue, and fortunately, the House has now stripped that earmark out of that spending bill. But again, this is how easy money has been flowing to bad actors in Minnesota.”
