Obama Judge Says to Hell with Supreme Court, Blocks Trump Admin From Canceling Protected Status For 1.1 Million Venezuelans and Haitians

A San Francisco-based federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump Administration from canceling Protected Status for 1.1 million Venezuelans and Haitians.

US District Judge Edward Chen, an Obama appointee, acknowledged the Supreme Court’s ruling but claimed the high court did not bar him from adjudicating the case on the merits.

Earlier this year Judge Chen temporarily paused Trump’s plans to end Biden’s TPS program.

The DOJ argued that the parole programs were discretionary and it is up to the government to decide when it can cut the program.

In May, the Supreme Court in an 8-1 decision lifted Judge Chen’s block on Trump’s order to revoke protected status for hundreds of thousands of migrants while the policy was challenged in court.

Judge Chen said the Supreme Court didn’t bar him from issuing an order.

The Associated Press reported:

A federal judge on Friday ruled against the Trump administration from ending temporary legal protections that have granted more than 1 million people from Haiti and Venezuela the right to live and work in the United States.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Edward Chen of San Francisco for the plaintiffs means 600,000 Venezuelans whose temporary protections expired in April or whose protections were about to expire Sept. 10 have status to stay and work in the United States.

Chen said Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s actions in terminating and vacating three extensions granted by the previous administration exceeded her statutory authority and were arbitrary and capricious.

CBP data found that over 1 million illegal aliens have been allowed into the US through what the Biden Regime defined as “legal” means.” The Biden-Kamala admin used the CBP One App and the CHNV program to allow illegals entry into the US.

These numbers are not included in the millions of illegals that have entered the US under Joe Biden’s watch.

HAITI HELL: US and Panama Push for Stronger ‘Gang Suppression Force’ to Claim Back Territory Occupied by Criminal Rebels and Stabilize the Chaotic Country

New ‘Gang Suppression Force’ will take the fight to the heavily armed rebel criminals.

It’s a point of contention whether the US as the Western Hemisphere superpower must deal with the Haiti chaos.

If for a moral imperative or geopolitical considerations, is it worthy of consideration to tackle a situation in a very poor country where the rebel criminal gangs have control of 90% of the Capital Port-au-Prince?

Apparently, the Donald J. Trump administration has decided it wants to – or has to – take the lead in the international effort to stabilize the ‘hell hole’.

Earlier, on Thursday (28), the US announced that it is seeking UN authorization for a new ‘Gang Suppression Force’ to help tackle the spiraling violence in Haiti, as it arises that the heavily-armed criminal groups are expanding their attacks to the countryside.

“Acting U.S. Ambassador Dorothy Shea made the announcement at a U.N. Security Council meeting, but it was unclear how it would differ from the Kenya-led Multinational Security Support force now deployed in the violence-torn Caribbean nation trying to help police curb gang violence. Shea thanked Kenya for answering Haiti’s call ‘at a critical moment’ and leading a multinational force for more than a year, saying without it ‘the gangs would have been even more emboldened in their ambitions and brazen atrocities against civilians in Haiti’.”

DOJ Unveils Charges Against Haitian Gang Leader ‘Barbecue’ Over Sanction Violations

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Aug. 12 that it will charge Haitian gang leader Jimmy “Barbecue” Cherizier with conspiracy for his role in a scheme to transfer money illegally from the United States.

“Cherizier and a U.S. associate sought to raise funds in the United States to bankroll Cherizier’s violent criminal enterprise, which is driving a security crisis in Haiti,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg said in a statement.

Cherizier was sanctioned in 2020 by the United States using the Magnitsky Act, which allows the president to impose sanctions for human rights abuses, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday.

His indictment under the Magnitsky Act is the first of its kind in the history of the DOJ, she said.

The State Department is offering up to $5 million for the capture of Cherizier, who is nicknamed “Barbecue” because he is accused of notorious human rights abuses—including a 2018 massacre in the Port-au-Prince neighborhood of Saline, in which the bodies of victims were burned, cut into pieces, and fed to pigs and dogs.

Cherizier denies the charges, and told the Associated Press in 2019 that the nickname comes from his childhood, when his  mother was a street vendor who sold fried chicken.

Colorado man handed 210-year sentence for abusing children at Haitian orphanage

A Colorado man was sentenced to 210 years for sexually abusing children at the Haitian orphanage he founded and ran for decades.

According to court documents, 73-year-old Michael Karl Geilenfeld founded St. Joseph’s Home for Boys in 1985 and operated the orphanage for over two decades.

The home cared for orphaned, impoverished, and vulnerable Haitian children. according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

The DOJ claims Geilenfeld repeatedly traveled from the U.S. to Haiti, where he not only sexually and physically abused boys in his care.

Erik Prince Involved In Deadly Drone Attacks In Haiti

The US-installed government in Haiti has turned to American mercenaries, including Erik Prince, to fight against armed groups that now control nearly all of Port-au-Prince. Drones operated by Prince’s firm have killed hundreds, but no high-value targets. 

According to the New York Times, Prince’s company has been operating drones in Haiti since March in an operation aimed at killing gang members. The Times notes the Haitian government has not announced any successful operations due to the program. 

Pierre Esperance, who leads the National Human Rights Defense Network, told the Wall Street Journal that more than 300 people have been killed in drone strikes over the last three months.

Additionally, Prince is ramping up for a larger operation. He is looking to send 150 mercenaries to Haiti this summer and has already shipped the arms to the nation. 

While now called Constellis Holdings, Prince’s defense contracting firm was initially named Blackwater. The company became infamous in 2007 when some of its mercenaries opened fire on civilians in Iraq, killing 17. 

Prince is a long-time ally of the US President, and the contractors responsible for murdering the Iraqi civilians were pardoned by Trump during his first term. 

Details of the current agreement between Prince and the Haitian government are unknown. The State Department denied that it is currently paying Prince. Although the US is funding Haitian police forces and Kenyan soldiers deployed to Haiti to help transfer power to the government. 

The current government in Port-au-Prince was installed by Washington last year after the collapse of the Ariel Henry administration. Henry was forced from power after he left Port-au-Prince to sign an agreement with the Kenyan government that allowed Nairobi to deploy its troops to Haiti.

Illegal Alien From Haiti Flown Into US on Biden’s Parole Program Charged with Triple Murder, Including Two Children

Crooked Joe Biden is no longer in office, but the consequences of his criminal regime are still having long-term effects on our nation.

Thanks to Biden’s CHNV program, our country was flooded by thousands of illegals who were flown into the US under the guise of parole. Thankfully, President Trump put a stop to this program.

One of Biden’s Haitian illegals was charged with the alleged murder of three people in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in late February. The victims of these murders were apparently his family members.

According to Fayetteville PD, the accused, 26-year-old Mackendy Darbouze, was charged with first-degree murder for all three victims. Two of the victims were children ages 13 and 4. The adult victim was a female named Beatrice Desir, who was 77 years old.

According to the PD, they showed up in the morning on February 21st after getting a report of a stabbing.

Kristi Noem Revokes Protected Status for 500,000 Haitians, Opens Them Up for Deportation

The Trump administration is moving to end deportation protections for about 520,000 Haitians.

On Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security gave notice that temporary protected status would be ending for Haitians, according to The Hill.

The administration took similar action against Venezuelans who have used TPS to remain in the United States.

“Biden and Mayorkas attempted to tie the hands of the Trump administration by extending Haiti’s Temporary Protected Status by 18 months — far longer than justified or necessary,” a DHS representative said in a news release, referring to former President Joe Biden and former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

“We are returning integrity to the TPS system, which has been abused and exploited by illegal aliens for decades. President Trump and Secretary Noem are returning TPS to its original status: temporary,” the representative said, referring to current DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who issued the order.

Some Haitians have been protected from deportation since 2010, when the Obama administration first authorized it for Haitians after a major earthquake there, according to The New York Times.

As noted by Politico, once Haitians in the U.S. under TPS lose their protected status, they could be eligible for deportation.

More USAID Fraud? Billions Of US Tax Dollars Are Missing From Haiti Relief Projects

There are those that say all government aid is a scam in one way or another, and so far the revelations surrounding USAID are proving those people right daily.  Democrats and the establishment media, in a bid to muddy the waters and save face, continue to claim that there was never any fraud at USAID and that the Trump Administration is simply labeling projects they “disagree with” as suspect. 

Of course, spending American tax dollars on projects the public never asked for and were never told about is the epitome of fraud, and waste is never a good thing.  Beyond that, the question of billions in missing funds certainly falls into the category of criminality. 

Trump has taken a lot of heat from the media with the shut down of USAID and much of the criticism suggests that without US funds people in third world countries will fall back into desperation.  The Washington Post recently claimed that Trump’s cuts to USAID are a “gift to Haitian gangs” terrorizing the locals; a typical leftist appeal to emotion that assumes most of the funds were getting to the Haitians in the first place. 

Yet another example of this problem has been revealed in a New York Post expose on the audit of USAID which shows a disturbing shortfall in funds surrounding ongoing relief projects in Haiti.  The Post notes:

“Since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti killed as many as 300,000 people, the US government has disbursed around $4.4 billion in foreign assistance to the small island nation.

At least $1.5 billion was disbursed for immediate humanitarian aid, while another $3 billion went to recovery, reconstruction and development.

Of the at least $2.13 billion in contracts and grants for Haiti-related work, less than $50 million, or 2% went to Haitian organizations or firms. By comparison, $1.3 billion, or 56%, has gone to firms located in or near the US capitol. Little wonder USAID is so threatened by the sudden scrutiny.

It remains unclear how exactly the billions have been spent and whether US tax dollars have had a sustainable impact. USAID and its vendors have generally failed to make such data public…”

The exposure of USAID by DOGE actually confirms long running suspicions of mishandled aid.  Some Haitian reporters warned about this disappearing money years ago under the Obama Administration.  USAID funds to Haiti were dispersed in part through the Clinton Foundation.

Americans have witnessed Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive decline over the past four years, which perfectly personifies the American empire. Rather than becoming stronger, the treasury and arms depots were exhausted for the benefit of Ukraine and Israel. America is bankrupt; economic prosperity is increasingly elusive for the average citizen and enjoyed only by an exclusive class with access to government power.

Haitian gang leader ‘massacred more than 100 people claiming witchcraft killed his son’

A Haitian gang leader is accused of ordering the massacre of more than 100 people, including elderly religious leaders, to avenge the death of his son.

The killings reportedly took place between Friday and Saturday in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti’s capital.

According to the National Human Rights Defense Network, Micanor Altès, also known as Monel Felix and Wa Mikanò, sought the advice of a Vodou priest after his son fell ill.

The human rights organization said that following the boy’s death, Altès began to accuse older people in the community of ‘of practicing witchcraft and harming the child.’

The Cooperative for Peace and Development learned that gunmen swept up community leaders in the Cité Soleil neighborhood and took them to Altès’ stronghold, where they were murdered along with motorcycle drivers who attempted to intervene.

‘He decided to cruelly punish all elderly people and (Vodou) practitioners who, in his imagination, would be capable of casting a bad spell on his son,’ the group said.

The Cooperative for Peace and Development found that that there’s a ban on people leaving the community ‘in order to continue to identify (Vodou) practitioners and the elderly with the aim of carrying out the silent killing.’

Haiti’s government in a statement Monday acknowledged the massacre and said that more than 100 people were killed.

While reports of the number of dead in Port-au-Prince tend to vary in a country where such killings often occur in gang-controlled, largely inaccessible areas, the government vowed to seek justice for the ‘unspeakable carnage.’
