Speculation Rages That Biden Pardoned Hunter to Protect Himself

People responded to President Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter Biden by speculating that Hunter had threatened to divulge sensitive information about his own father if his sentences were not commuted.

After repeatedly denying that he would pardon his son for gun and tax evasion convictions, Biden did a 180 and announced Hunter Biden would be pardoned.

“There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution,” Biden wrote in a statement.

“In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough,” he added.

However, as soon the news was announced, speculation raged as to what made Biden change his mind.

LIAR: Biden Goes Back on His Word, Pardons Idiot Son, Hunter Biden

He promised he wouldn’t do it. He swore up and down that it would never happen.

But then again, he also said that Trump was Hitler, Americans were garbage, and MAGA was an existential threat to democracy. (Also, he’s “sharp as a tack.”)

Another day, another Biden lie: It was announced on Sunday evening that President Biden would go back on his word and issue a full, unconditional pardon to his idiot kid, Hunter Biden. In his words:

I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice — and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.

But that’s not what Joe Biden told us before.

“With regards to the question regarding my family,” President Biden said in June, “I’m extremely proud of my son, Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He has. He’s one of the brightest, most decent men I know. And I am satisfied that I’m not going to do anything. I said, I said I’d abide by the jury decision. I will do that, and I will not pardon him.” [emphasis added]

In fact, President Biden piously told ABC’s David Muir (who proved his own impartiality two months later in that ridiculous three-on-one ABC News presidential “debate”) that the Democrats’ acceptance of America’s unassailable, apolitical legal system is what differentiates him from the scary Orange Monster: Democrats believe in the rule of law. Republicans don’t.

“[Trump]’s trying to undermine it,” Biden declared. “He got a fair trial. The jury spoke.”

Throughout 2024, the message was consistent: Absolutely no pardon for Hunter Biden. Not now, not ever. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly told the media, “I’ve been very clear; the president is not going to pardon his son.”

Even after Hunter Biden was convicted — but before the election in November — the president was steadfast: “I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the juridical process as Hunter considers an appeal.”

And not just Joe Biden: “Doctor” Jill Biden said it, too. “Joe and I both respect the judicial system, and that’s the bottom line.”

Sanctuary City Dwellers Are Suffering Sexual Battery, ‘Stranger Rapes,’ Murders at the Hands of Illegal Aliens

The migrant from Honduras who was charged with raping a woman on a woodsy trail in Herndon, Virginia, is a case study in permissive left-wing sanctuary city and state laws that have endangered so many Americans.

“Let me start by saying that I am incredibly saddened and outraged that a crime like this could happen here in the town of Herndon,” Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard said at a press conference last weekend after the arrest of the migrant.

Denis Humberto Navarette Romero, 31, was arrested and charged for the November 18 attack and rape of a woman he allegedly encountered on the Washington & Old Dominion Railroad Trail in Herndon. The attack was termed a “stranger rape” because the attacker and the victim did not know each other.

“We haven’t had a stranger rape in over 12 years that I’ve been here as chief,” Chief DeBoard said. “There should be full prosecution, so this never happens again.”

The attack, though, should not come as a surprise. Authorities discovered that Romero has been linked to several sexual battery attacks on juveniles going back to 2017, they said after his arrest.

There have been other charges as well. A flabbergasted DeBoard was shocked to find that the suspect had already been charged with two felonies, and yet he was still freely wandering around the United States.

“He had two felonies from cases we had where we were called, dispatched to investigate a sexual battery, basically where he had grabbed a female,” Chief DeBoard said, “and when we went to investigate the case, we encountered the individual then and he assaulted two of my police officers. One he actually grabbed around the throat, tried to choke him. So he was charged with two assaults on a police officer, felonies.”

DeBoard was asked if Navarette Romero was convicted for those felony assaults. “No, because a couple months later, that case was reduced to simple assault, misdemeanor. We weren’t asked to provide input on that,” she replied. “You know, my officers were victims in that case. We would hope that victims would be asked about their input on this, and we certainly wouldn’t have agreed to have that reduced to a misdemeanor.”

The chief was also skeptical about deporting Navarette Romero after this latest arrest. “The problem with deporting him right now would be there is a strong chance that he could end up back in this country again,” she said. “The danger is, if he’s not held accountable for his crimes here, and he’s simply deported, we would have no way to keep him from coming back into the country.”

How did all this happen? Because of the “sanctuary” policies of the law enforcement agencies he met previously.

NYC is now home to over 58K ‘criminal’ migrants — including more than 1,000 gang members: ICE

There are over 58,000 illegal migrants who are convicted felons or facing criminal charges roaming NYC — and close to 670,000 across the country, startling new data obtained by The Post shows.

Of the 759,218 illegal-border crossers living in the Big Apple the feds were aware of as of Nov. 17, a jaw-dropping 58,626 – 7.7% — were either previously convicted of crimes or had criminal charges pending, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency data.

And of the 58,626 migrants with rap sheets, 1,053, nearly 2%, are “suspected or known gang members,” according to the agency.

“These numbers make it clear what everyone but our elected officials already know: sanctuary city laws are endangering New Yorkers by shielding criminals instead of protecting law-abiding citizens,” said Councilman Robert Holden, a moderate Queens Democrat.

Nationwide, the numbers are just as galling.

D.B. Cooper Researcher Casts Considerable Doubt on Parachute Discovery Claim

A dedicated D.B. Cooper researcher has cast considerable doubt on the alleged discovery of the legendary skyjacker’s parachute, pointing out several flaws surrounding the suspected evidence which suggest that it did not play a role in the crime. The remarkable claim made earlier this week spawned worldwide headlines with many wondering if the longstanding mystery surrounding the 1971 caper was on the cusp of finally being solved. However, many in the diverse D.B. Cooper research community expressed skepticism at the fantastic development with one in particular, Ryan Burns, releasing a detailed video (seen above) wherein he makes the case that “this is unquestionably not” the parachute used by the skyjacker.

Citing contemporaneous media accounts and the voluminous FBI files concerning the crime, he noted that the parachutes provided to Cooper were repeatedly said to have been missing two specific features: D-Rings and capewells. Alas, these two pieces are present on the recently unearthed rig. Additionally, he indicated that the parachute harness model provided to Cooper during the caper was from the Navy rather than the Air Force, which is the case with the newfound alleged evidence. These three factors, among other aspects of the account, led Burns to conclude that the headline-making parachute could not have come from the 1971 skyjacking.

As to the possibility that it was used in the caper and then significantly altered sometime later, Burns dismissed that scenario as implausible. For that to be the case, he explained, suspect Richard McCoy Jr would have had to both keep a damning piece of evidence and subsequently enlist “a master parachute rigger to have all these modifications done to it.” If Burns’ assessment is correct, one wonders why the FBI seized the item since their own files would appear to indicate that it is not a genuine piece of evidence. While the agency could answer that question, previous instances of the federal government getting involved in longstanding mysteries, such as the still-contentious Pennsylvania treasure hunt from a few years ago, suggest that they may less than forthcoming on the matter.

Illegal migrant crime cost $166.5 billion, three times the price of deportation

The cost of crime from 662,000 criminal illegal migrants sought for deportation has been pegged at three times the much-hyped price of President-elect Donald Trump’s “mass deportation” plan.

In an analysis from the Crime Prevention Research Center, the costs of crime from the top targets of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations was set at $166.5 billion. That number is based on the cost to victims, a price list developed by the National Institute of Justice.

Crime Prevention Research Center President John R. Lott Jr., who did the analysis for Real Clear Investigations, said the cost was based on just one of the crimes “each of the 662,566 ‘non-detained’ noncitizen offenders on ICE’s list” has been previously accused of.

“Murders account for almost $153.8 billion of the $166.5 billion in estimated criminal victimization costs. Another $6 billion involves sexual assaults/offenses, and an additional $5.2 billion comes from sexual assaults and sexual offenses,” he wrote.

“Half of the crimes these non-detained individuals commit don’t have cost estimates. These crimes include kidnapping, embezzlement, extortion, smuggling, traffic offenses, and weapon offenses,” he added.

Suspected D.B. Cooper Parachute Draws FBI Interest

A parachute found on the family property of a longstanding D.B. Cooper suspect has drawn interest from the FBI, which seized the intriguing item that some contend could be a breakthrough clue in the legendary cold case. As detailed in a lengthy piece by Cowboy State Daily, the remarkable discovery was made by researcher and YouTuber Dan Gryder, who believes that the skyjacker was a man named Richard McCoy II. Permitted to search the family’s property a few years ago, Gryder unearthed the parachute from a crate in a shed. Last week, he revealed that his videos about the discovery had caught the attention of federal authorities, who asked to speak with the researcher.

According to Gryder, he and McCoy’s son met with the FBI in September of last year wherein agents seized the curious canopy that could be connected to the Cooper caper. The following month, the agency conducted an extensive search of the property where the parachute had been found. Musing that “it’s a good sign that they’re taking this seriously,” McCoy’s son revealed that the FBI also collected a DNA sample from him with the suggestion that they may eventually have to exhume his father’s body should it prove necessary. To date, however, the agency has given no indication as to what their recent investigation has uncovered, though paperwork furnished by Gryder confirms that they did confiscate the parachute.

Meloni: ‘I’ll be called racist, but foreigners are overrepresented in violent crimes against women’

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has brushed off anticipated cries of racism to highlight the stark reality that a disproportionate number of foreign nationals are responsible for violent crimes against women in Italy.

Speaking on the World Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Meloni said, “Now I will be defined as racist, but there is a greater incidence, unfortunately, in cases of sexual violence, by immigrant people, especially illegally, because when you have nothing, a degeneration occurs which can lead everywhere.”

The Italian premier cited alarming statistics to support her claim. “Foreigners in our country represent 8 percent of the entire population, and in our country in 2023, there were 5,832 sexual assaults, and of these, 2,524 were committed by foreigners, i.e., 43.3 percent of the total committed by a representative 8 percent of the entire population.”

The Lethal Legacy of Alejandro Mayorkas

In a recent news, we learned that the murderous Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) is now in 16 states in the U.S., committing crimes openly and brazenly.  These gang members’ many horrific acts include robbery and murder, gang rape, assaults, shakedowns, burying people alive, and even beheadings and public executions.  They are reputed to be more violent than the notorious Salvadoran gang MS-13.

TdA first gained notoriety on August 18, when a video showed gang members wandering through an Aurora, Colorado apartment building, brandishing guns, knocking on doors, even breaking off locks and entering apartments unbidden.  In this instance, it appears they were shaking down residents for their rent money with threats of violence and the lethal weapons to make good on them.

It turns out this apartment building in Aurora was one of three that TdA had taken over.  While residents and people in neighboring communities voiced fear for their safety and the safety of their families, apologists pooh-poohed and minimized the incidents.  Many in the mainstream media soft-pedaled the gang’s presence, claiming they’re not “terrorists” but just petty criminals.  The mayor of Aurora and a City Council member downplayed the threat in their official newsletter.  The position several in the left media took was that the furor over TdA was overblown.  They weren’t taking over cities; they were just terrorizing them.  So that made it all right.

I remember having a discussion on Facebook with a friend who had a similar rationalization: “It was just one apartment building.  It wasn’t the whole town.”  No big deal.  This is a bright, conservative man.  I was dumbfounded.  I wanted to echo Chris Pratt in the movie Jurassic World, after Vincent D’Onofrio’s character goes on an insane rant: “Do you hear yourself when you talk?”

Shortly after the criminal exploits of Tren de Aragua came to light, it was learned that they were a more pervasive presence than originally known, and experts postulated that it would take ten years to root them out and fully remove them from the country.  Now they’re in 16 states, most recently in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Wyoming, Montana, and in every major city in Tennessee.  With this expansion, we can only imagine how much more difficult it will be now to rid our country of this human plague.

Death Certificates Reveal FBI ‘Revised’ Murder Stats Still Bogus

As the DOJ’s Bureau of Justice Statistics explains, “The United States uses two national data collection systems to track detailed information on homicides.” These consist of:

  1. death certificates collected by the states and compiled by the CDC.
  2. reports by local law enforcement agencies compiled by the states and aggregated by the FBI, which also generates estimates for agencies that don’t report.

Death certificates have always provided broader and more accurate data than the FBI’s figures, but the gap between them has grown sharply under the Biden administration. This may indicate that local law enforcement agencies, states, and/or the FBI are undercounting murders.

Furthermore, the Biden administration FBI inexplicably revised its pre-Biden murder data all the way back to 2003, elevating the counts in certain years by up to 7%. The FBI made these unprecedented alterations without so much as a footnote to inform the public.
