Retired Judge Stewart Rosenwasser kills self at Orange County home as FBI arrive to arrest him

A former prosecutor and retired judge in Orange County, NY killed himself Tuesday as the FBI arrived at his home to arrest him.

Authorities arrived at Stewart Rosenwasser’s home in Campbell Hall to arrest him as part of a corruption case, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Rosenwasser had been under investigation for taking bribes.

“I was standing by the front door, my friend went outside the front door and they screamed at us to get in the house,” said Orange County resident Linn Cartagena.

It appears there was an exchange of gunfire at the suspect’s home, according to the FBI, which the following statement:

“The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting that occurred earlier this morning in Campbell Hall, NY. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division. As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.”

Nancy Pelosi’s husband sold more than $500K worth of Visa stock — just weeks before DOJ’s antitrust lawsuit

Nancy Pelosi’s husband unloaded more than $500,000 worth of Visa stock — less than three months before the credit card giant was slapped with federal antitrust charges, public documents show.

Visa was hit with a lawsuit on Tuesday that alleged the company has illegally monopolized the debit card market — the culmination of a years-long review conducted by the Justice Department’s antitrust unit.

Visa allegedly used its dominant market position to penalize customers and merchants who use competing payment processors, according to court papers.

Antitrust cops also allege that Visa forces financial tech firms to work with it by threatening to penalize those who don’t.

The Post has sought comment from Visa.

Meanwhile, Christopher Josephs, the tech entrepreneur who runs the “Nancy Pelosi Stock Tracker” on X, posted a screenshot of a congressional filing on July 3 which showed that the former House speaker’s husband, Paul Pelosi, had sold 2,000 shares of Visa worth between $500,000 and $1 million.

NHS Director Blows Whistle – Hospitals Fabricated Cause of Death to Inflate COVID Pandemic Numbers!

Before Covid, four types of pneumonia added together were the highest cause of death in the UK.  In a newly implemented Medical Examiner System to certify deaths, the Medical Examiner was certifying all types of pneumonia deaths as COVID-19 deaths, a former Director of End-of-Life Care has said.

On Saturday, Sai, a former NHS Director of End-of-Life Care, wrote a Twitter thread which, amongst other things, gave a personal account of the changes to the system of reporting deaths implemented in the NHS:

“When four different diseases [are] grouped and now being called covid-19, you will inevitably see covid-19 with a huge death rate.  The mainstream media was reporting on this huge increase in COVID-19 deaths due to the Medical Examiner System being in place.

“Patients being admitted and dying with very common conditions such as old age, myocardial infarctions, end-stage kidney failure, haemorrhages, strokes, COPD and cancer etc. were all now being certified as covid-19 via the Medical Examiner System.

“Hospitals were switching to and from the Medical Examiner System and the pre-pandemic system as [and] when they pleased. When covid-19 deaths needed to be increased, the hospital would switch to the Medical Examiner System.”

In addition, “hospitals were incentivised to report covid-19 deaths over normal deaths, as the government was paying hospitals additional money for every covid-19 death that was being reported,” Sai said. “I do not doubt in my mind, that the Government has planned the entire pandemic since 2016 when they first proposed the change to medical death certification.”

Cal Fire employee arrested in connection with off-duty arson

A member of California’s firefighter department has been accused of violating his own duties and starting several fires over the last couple of weeks.

CAL FIRE law enforcement officers arrested Robert Hernandez, 38, a CAL FIRE fire apparatus engineer, at Howard Forest Fire Station Friday, and accused him of setting five fires while off duty.

The blazes burned through a combined area of under an acre, according to CAL FIRE.

“I am appalled to learn one of our employees would violate the public’s trust and attempt to tarnish the tireless work of the 12,000 women and men of CAL FIRE,” CAL FIRE Director and Fire Chief Joe Tyler, said in a statement.

Feds serve search warrants on interim New York City Police Commissioner Tom Donlon

Just over a week after taking charge of the nation’s largest police department, interim New York City Police Commissioner Tom Donlon confirmed Saturday that federal agents served search warrants on multiple homes belonging to him.

In a statement obtained by CBS News, Donlon said that “federal authorities” on Friday “executed search warrants at my residences.”

Donlon alleged that the agents “took materials that came into my possession approximately 20 years ago and are unrelated to my work with the New York City Police Department.”

He added that the NYPD would “not be commenting” as this was “not a department matter.”

Donlon’s predecessor, Edward Caban, resigned on Sept. 12, about one week after it emerged that Caban’s phone was seized as part of a federal investigation that touched several members of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ inner circle.

Caban, who had served as commissioner of the NYPD about 15 months, said in an email to staff at the time that he made the decision to resign after the “news around recent developments” had “created a distraction for our department.”

Donlon previously served as the chief of the FBI’s National Threat Center and once led the Office of Homeland Security in New York, before starting his own security firm in 2020. He helped lead the investigation into the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and investigated the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings and USS Cole bombing.

Caban’s resignation marked the first high-level departure from the Adams administration since federal investigators seized phones Sept. 4 from several members of the mayor’s inner circle, including two deputy mayors, the schools chancellor, and one of Adams’ top advisers.

The subject of the investigation, which is being led by U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan, remains unclear, as does whether federal authorities were seeking information linked to one investigation or several.

A recent study suggests that up to 2.7 million non-citizens could vote illegally in the 2024 election, raising alarms about the integrity of the democratic process. Karma For Varma! NYC Covid Czar Busted For Secret Drug/Sex Parties During Lockdown

Maybe he should change his name to Varmint.

Dr. Jay Varma, the Covid czar under former Mayor Bill de Blasio, has been caught bragging about his double standard personal life. The champion of draconian measures during Covid attended drug-fueled sex parties while the rest of the city sheltered in place.

As reported by the New York Post, Varma didn’t spare the details:

“We went to some, like, underground dance party … underneath a bank on Wall Street … We were all rolling, we’re all taking molly [MDMA] and everybody’s high. And I was so happy because I hadn’t done that in like a year and a half,” he said in the clip.

The footage was first leaked by Steven Crowder, a right-wing internet personality on Thursday. In a followup video Crowder later confronted Varma at a restaurant with his own damning quotes. Varma defended himself by saying he was “babbling in what I thought was a date with somebody.”

“My wife and I have an open relationship,” he quickly added.

Further, Varma threw his old boss under the bus while being videoed by a woman pretending to be on a date with Varma on August 14th. The Project Veritas-style ambush went live today on Steven Crowder’s YouTube channel. Varma claimed that he wanted to keep schools open, but “weenie” de Blasio caved to teacher’s unions.

Sen. Hawley Releases Whistleblower Report on First Trump Assassination Attempt

On Monday Sen. Josh Hawley, (R-Mo) released a whistleblower report regarding the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The report is subtitled ‘Failures of The United States Secret Service in Connection with the Attempted Assassination of Former President Donald J. Trump’.

Most notably, the report detailed three revelations from whistleblowers which have not been reported prior to its publication on Monday.

“The lead agent responsible for the entire Butler visit, including the rally, failed a key examination during their federal law enforcement training to become a Secret Service agent,” the report said on page 2.

“Secret Service intelligence units—teams of Secret Service agents paired with state and local law enforcement to handle reports of suspicious persons—were absent from the Butler rally,” the report said on page 2.

“The hospital site where former President Trump received treatment after the shooting was poorly secured, and the hospital site agent could not answer basic questions about site security,” the report said on page 2.

The lack of federal transparency has caused investigations to turn toward whistleblowers.

“…sources with direct knowledge of Secret Service’s own internal investigation have alleged to Senator Hawley that the Department of Homeland Security is leaning on Secret Service not to comply with document requests from Congress. Instead, it has been left to courageous whistleblowers to tell the story of what really happened,” the report said on page 16.

The report began by summarizing the fateful day of July 13 followed by detailing federal agency behaviors indicative of elusion and obfuscation surrounding the attempted assassination.

“Following this catastrophic failure, the Secret Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have all tried to evade real accountability. These agencies and their leaders have slow-walked congressional investigations, misled the American people, and shirked responsibility,” the report said on page 1.

The report went on to describe the response taken by Hawley to this federal inaction.
