“Advice to decision makers on the use of masks for healthy people in community settings

As described above, the wide use of masks by healthy people in the community setting is not supported by current evidence and carries uncertainties and critical risks.”

“Medical masks should be reserved for health care workers. The use of medical masks in the community may create a false sense of security, with neglect of other essential measures, such as hand hygiene practices and physical distancing, and may lead to touching the face under the masks and under the eyes, result in unnecessary costs, and take masks away from those in health care who need them most, especially when masks are in short supply.”

“Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.”

WHO acknowledges that most people do not use masks properly.

JAIL FAUCI: US Has Almost 30 Times More COVID-19 Deaths per Population than Third-World Countries that Promoted Early HCQ Use

The latest international testing of hydroxychloroquine treatment of coronavirus shows countries that had early use of the drug had a 79% lower mortality rate than countries that banned the use of the safe malaria drug.

San Diego City Councilmember Threatens Residents, Demands Sheriff Arrest “People Who Aren’t Wearing Masks” and “Who Aren’t Social Distancing”

San Diego City Councilmember Jennifer Campbell on Tuesday threatened Ocean Beach residents: Follow the authoritarian Covid rules… or else!

“Behave or you’re gonna be in big trouble!” the hysterical Democrat tyrant said during a presser.

Jennifer Campbell  screamed at residents on Tuesday and told them if they didn’t wear masks and social distance, more people were going to die.

“This is the worst virus in the history of medicine!” the retired physician screamed.

To be clear, a grand total of 602 people in San Diego County out of a population of approximately 3.5 million have died from Covid-19 since March.

Campbell then demanded that the County Sheriff arrest people who aren’t wearing masks and who aren’t social distancing.

Accusations of Covid-19 misinformation dismissed against Minnesota doctor who is a state senator

The Minnesota Board of Medical Practice has dismissed the two allegations against Chaska State Senator and physician Scott Jensen.

The original complaint accused Jensen of spreading misinformation about the number of COVID-19-related deaths reported in Minnesota and providing reckless advice in comparing COVID-19 to the flu.

Jensen says he’s “gratified. I appreciate the fact that the Board of Medical practice is doing what it is charged to do, but still, it hangs over your head like a black cloud until the decision is rendered.”

Coronavirus: Face masks could increase risk of infection, medical chief warns

Members of the public could be putting themselves more at risk from contracting coronavirus by wearing face masks, one of England’s most senior doctors has warned.

Jenny Harries, deputy chief medical officer, said the masks could “actually trap the virus” and cause the person wearing it to breathe it in.

“For the average member of the public walking down a street, it is not a good idea” to wear a face mask in the hope of preventing infection, she added.

Sales of the masks have sky-rocketed since the Covid-19 outbreak began, with retailers including Boots and Amazon selling out of the products before the virus had even taken hold in the UK.

Asked about their effectiveness, Dr Harries told BBC News: “What tends to happen is people will have one mask. They won’t wear it all the time, they will take it off when they get home, they will put it down on a surface they haven’t cleaned.

“Or they will be out and they haven’t washed their hands, they will have a cup of coffee somewhere, they half hook it off, they wipe something over it.

“In fact, you can actually trap the virus in the mask and start breathing it in.”

Asked if people are putting themselves more at risk by wearing masks, Dr Harries added: “Because of these behavioural issues, people can adversely put themselves at more risk than less.”

Power-Tripping Maskless Cop Rips Man’s Mask Off, Get in His Face for Filming

Filming the police is entirely legal, in every state. However, all too often, we will see police officers overstep their authority and arrest, attack, and assault innocent people for the constitutionally protected act of documenting their behavior in public. As the following case out Nashville illustrates, many cops couldn’t care less about your First Amendment right to film them and will violate their oaths to the constitution to carry out their tyrannical hatred for police accountability.

Andrew Golden, a police accountability activist was practicing his constitutionally protected right to film in public this week when he was assaulted by Tennessee State Trooper Harvey Briggs.

Sex and coronavirus: How to have it safely

You’ve heard of the “new normal” around things like going back to work or shopping.

But it also applies to sex, according to a sexual health charity.

The Terrence Higgins Trust has published advice suggesting people avoid kissing, wear a face covering and choose positions that aren’t face-to-face during sex.

It may sound tough, but people need to find a way “to balance our need for sex and intimacy with the risks of the spread of COVID-19”, the Trust says.

Employees need masks even for at-home Zoom calls, Wisconsin agency says. Here’s why

In an email to employees sent out on July 31, the head of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources not only reminded employees of Gov. Tony Evers’ mask order going into effect on Aug. 1, he also said that every DNR employee must wear a mask … even while on a teleconference.

“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,” Preston Cole said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”

Evers’ executive order said that face coverings are required to be worn whenever a person is in an enclosed space — other than a private residence.

DNR spokeswoman Megan Sheridan spoke with McClatchy News and said that employees wearing masks while video conferencing with external partners sets a good example during the pandemic.

“By wearing a mask while video conferencing with the general public, we visually remind folks that masking is an important part of navigating the business of natural resources during this tumultuous time,” Sheridan said.

Business is booming for NYC psychics amid COVID-19 pandemic

While storefronts are going bust across the Big Apple due to the coronavirus pandemic, New York’s psychics and fortune-tellers say they are seeing more clients — and making more money — than ever before.

Unlike most businesses, they thrive in times of uncertainty and despair.

“When there’s a big change in the world, or more uncertainty in the world, that is when people look for more certainty,” psychic Betsy LeFae told The Post. “Everyone now wants more certainty, and yes – that is when people tend to turn to psychics.
