Insurrection? Minnesota Democrat Rep. Angie Craig Says Local Cities Telling Business Owners to Call 911 on ICE so Local Police Can “De-Escalate Federal Agents”

Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) said while recently touring immigrant owned businesses in Minnesota she was told that local cities are telling business owners to call 911 if ICE agents enter their business or are in their parking lot so local police can “de-escalate federal agents.”

Craig also said, “Minnesotans, we know how to fight. This is no time for Minnesota nice.”

While ICE is trying to arrest and deport criminal aliens, Democrats wants residents to tie up 911 phone lines to stop ICE. Heart attacks, rapes and murder calls to 911 will apparently just have to wait for the insurrection.

Craig made her comments on the MSNOW show Politics Nation with host Rev. Al Sharpton.

Tim Walz ‘Is Complicit in the Theft of Over $9B’ by the Same People Attacking ICE: Minnesota Senator

Minnesota State Senator Steve Drazkowski accused Gov. Tim Walz of advancing a biased political agenda, losing credibility with voters, and manipulating state investigations to protect what he described as a far-left narrative, while also criticizing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and local media outlets.

Drazkowski made the remarks while discussing the political climate in Minnesota and ongoing controversies surrounding state leadership.

He alleged that Walz is facing growing backlash from Minnesotans and claimed that calls for accountability are intensifying ahead of the next legislative session.

“They have an agenda,” Drazkowski said.

“Tim Walz is losing oil pressure rapidly. A large and growing number of Minnesotans would really like to see him in jail, and we will see articles of impeachment introduced in the Minnesota House when the legislature convenes on the 17th of next month.”

Drazkowski alleged that Walz bears responsibility for significant financial losses in the state and tied those allegations to recent unrest involving federal law enforcement officers.

“He is complicit in the theft of over $9 billion by many of the same people that have been attacking Federal officers for the past two weeks,” Drazkowski said.

19 States That Legalized Marijuana Use Nevertheless Say It Should Disqualify People From Owning Guns

If you are a cannabis consumer who owns a gun, you are committing a federal felony right now, even if you live in one of the 40 states that have legalized marijuana for medical or recreational use. That perplexing situation is perfectly reasonable and constitutional, according to 19 of those states, which are urging the Supreme Court to uphold the federal ban on gun possession by “unlawful” users of “any controlled substance.”

That law is at the center of a case that the Court is scheduled to hear on March 2, which involves a Texas man, Ali Hemani, who was charged with illegal gun possession after an FBI search of his home discovered a Glock 19 pistol, two ounces of marijuana, and less than a gram of cocaine. The potential implications extend far beyond Hemani because this ban applies to millions of peaceful Americans who pose no plausible threat to public safety.

As I explain in my new book, Beyond Control, that policy authorizes severe criminal penalties for drug users who try to exercise their Second Amendment rights. Under the law that Hemani violated, it does not matter whether someone handles guns while intoxicated or otherwise endangers the public.

Last year, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit upheld a federal judge’s dismissal of the gun charge against Hemani. That outcome was dictated by a 2024 ruling in which the 5th Circuit held that the Second Amendment barred the government from prosecuting a gun-owning cannabis consumer “based solely on her ‘habitual or occasional drug use.'”

Such prosecutions, the 5th Circuit said, are not “consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation”—the Second Amendment test that the Supreme Court established in 2022. While “our history and tradition may support some limits on a presently intoxicated person’s right to carry a weapon,” the appeals court said, “they do not support disarming a sober person based solely on past substance usage.”

The Trump administration wants the Supreme Court to reject that conclusion and reinstate the charge against Hemani. Solicitor General D. John Sauer implausibly argues that all “unlawful” drug users, including occasional cannabis consumers and state-registered patients who use marijuana for symptom relief, pose a danger that justifies disarming them.

Sauer likens drug users to “habitual drunkards,” who historically could be confined to workhouses as “vagrants.” But the law he is defending is more analogous to a categorical ban on gun possession by alcohol consumers, which would be clearly unconstitutional.

The Trump administration’s position, which echoes the Biden administration’s, seems inconsistent with the president’s avowed commitment to the Second Amendment. The states that have joined Sauer in asking the Supreme Court to overrule the 5th Circuit likewise seem to be contradicting their own policies.

Which countries made the biggest deals with Israel in 2025?

Israel signed a record number of multibillion-dollar gas, technology and military deals in 2025.

One of its most prominent deals came in December when Prime Minister Netanyahu approved the largest energy deal in Israel’s history. The contract will supply Egypt with up to $35bn worth of gas through 2040 from the Leviathan field, further deepening the North African country’s energy dependence on Israel amid its ongoing energy crisis.

Egypt, which established diplomatic ties with Israel in 1979, stated that the deal was a “purely commercial” arrangement and that there are no “political dimensions”, especially amid mounting public anger over Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Israel has also signed several record multibillion-dollar deals in the technology and military sectors in 2025, profiting largely from selling military and surveillance equipment that has been “battle-tested” in Palestine and across the region.

US tech giant Google (Alphabet) is finalising its $32bn acquisition of cybersecurity company Wiz, while Nvidia has committed $1.5bn to establish Israel’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) data centre, located about 30km (19 miles) from Haifa.

In Europe, Israel’s $6.5bn Arrow 3 deal with Germany features an advanced defence system for intercepting long-range ballistic missiles, making it the largest military export in Israel’s history.

In this story, Al Jazeera unpacks some of the largest publicly disclosed deals signed with Israel in 2025.

Netanyahu Blasts Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan, Claims Composition of Gaza Executive Board “Runs Contrary” to Israeli Policy – Israel National Security Minister Calls for “Return to War with Enormous Force”

Israel may be displeased with President Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has surprisingly come out claiming that  the President’s Gaza Executive Board was “not coordinated with Israel and runs contrary to its policy.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced that the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by himself, has been formed as the Trump Administration enters Phase Two of the  20-point Gaza Peace Plan announced last September.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Jared Kushner, Apollo Global Management CEO Marc Rowan, World Bank Group President Ajay Banga, and Trump adviser Robert Gabriel were announced as members of the “founding Executive Board” on Friday.

Additionally, the White House announced that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and senior Qatari diplomat Ali Al-Thawadi would serve on the Gaza Executive Board to support the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza and “support effective governance and the delivery of best-in-class services that advance peace, stability, and prosperity for the people of Gaza,” sparking rebuke from Netanyahu.

Per the New York Post:

President Trump’s Gaza governance plan sparked backlash in Israel as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the makeup of the body, which includes Turkey and Qatar, contradicts Israeli policy — even as reports from said the lineup had, in fact, been approved.

Netanyahu’s office issued a statement on Saturday saying that the premier instructed his top diplomat to raise the government’s concerns with the Trump administration on the newly created “Board of Peace” set to run the Gaza Strip, according to Ynet.

“The announcement by the US administration regarding the composition of the Gaza Executive Board was not coordinated with Israel and runs contrary to its policy,” Netanyahu’s office said in the statement, adding that the prime minister had ordered Sa’ar to raise Israel’s objections directly with Rubio.

The dispute centers on the inclusion of senior reps from Turkey and Qatar — two countries Israel accuses of backing Hamas.

However, reports claim that Netanyahu was only posturing “for appearances” as Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir calls for a “return to war with enormous force,” and Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich claims that the body is made up of “states that breathed life into Hamas.”

Subpoenas issued by grand jury for Tim Walz and Jacob Frey in federal obstruction investigation

CNN reports: “A person familiar with the matter told CNN that a grand jury has issued subpoenas for both men as part of the investigation. But neither office had received any notice as of Friday evening, according to sources familiar with the matter. It was not immediately clear when Frey and Walz would receive the subpoenas.”

Original story follows:

The DOJ has begun an investigation into Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey over an alleged conspiracy to obstruct and impede federal authorities carrying out immigration enforcement. Both men have made repeated remarks over the past week and a half encouraging Minnesotans to take to the streets in protest of federal law officers, to track them and film them. They have also demanded outright that the officers leave the city and state. Frey said in a press conference following the death of Renee Good, “get the f*ck out of Minneapolis.”

CBS spoke to sources familiar with the matter, who said that the leaders were under investigation, but the DOJ declined to comment.

The Trump administration ramped up immigration enforcement actions earlier this year in the wake of a massive series of fraud scandals among the immigrant Somali community. Taxpayer funds were siphoned from government grant programs under the guise of providing social services, but those services were never provided. An unknown sum of funds from American taxpayers was absconded with to fund Islamic terror groups.

The scandal was so egregious that Walz suspended his re-election campaign. The Department of Homeland Security surged officers to the sanctuary state, in which local law officers are forbidden by law from working with federal agents. Massive protests ensued when activist Renee Good was shot to death while attempting to ram her car into ICE agents. She had been blocking the road to impede agent operations.

“We’re in a position right now where we have residents that are asking the very limited number of police officers that we have to fight ICE agents on the street,” Frey said after a weekend of protests. “We cannot be at a place right now in America where we have two governmental entities that are literally fighting one another.”

Walz and Frey have since called for protests to remain peaceful. The governor urged Minnesotans not to “fan the flames of chaos” in a message on X Thursday.

Texas Reports Over $1 Billion in Hospital Costs Related to Illegal Aliens for 2025 Fiscal Year

Illegal aliens have cost states a lot of money.

It is evident from what the state of Texas has reported in regard to hospital-related costs.

Hospitals in Texas have accrued over $1 billion in healthcare costs for illegal aliens for fiscal year 2025. This was the first year that Texas tracked the statistics.

The information was gathered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Texas Scorecard had access to the data, which revealed that hospitals recorded over 300,000 visits that were related to illegal aliens. Total costs were about $1.05 billion at the end of fiscal year 2025.

Their state’s fiscal year goes from September 1st to August 31st. The hospitals started reporting later, in November, which means the costs are potentially higher.

Fox News Reported:

Texas hospitals accumulated more than $1 billion in healthcare costs for illegal immigrants during fiscal year 2025, the first year the state began tracking the figures.

The data, compiled by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and obtained by Texas Scorecard, shows hospitals logged 313,742 visits linked to individuals not legally present, with total costs reaching $1.05 billion by the end of the fiscal year.

Texas’ fiscal year runs from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, but hospitals were only required to begin reporting in November. Based on the reported data, costs averaged about $105 million per month, meaning the true annual total could be significantly higher.

“To put the figures into perspective, the reported hospital costs approach about 1% of the state’s tax-funded resources.” Fox News Reported.

The information was obtained as a result of Governor Greg Abbott signing an executive order back in 2024, requiring the agency to track illegals who were accessing public hospitals in Texas.

During the open border under the Biden regime, Texas had a record number of illegal crossings. As a result, it put a strain on their healthcare system.

Defense Ministry halts US takeover bid for Iron Dome software developer

The Defense Ministry is delaying approval of a planned takeover of Amprest Systems, a company that develops command-and-control software for the Iron Dome air defense system, amid concerns over foreign control of sensitive defense technology, according to people familiar with the matter.

The deal would give U.S.-listed holding company Ondas Holdings control of Amprest, whose software plays a central role in Iron Dome and other air defense systems. Ondas is seeking to buy out Amprest’s shareholders for about $100 million, valuing the company at more than $200 million. If completed, the transaction would leave Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, the developer and manufacturer of Iron Dome, as a minority shareholder.

Amprest’s largest shareholder today is Rafael. The remaining shares are held by Amprest founder and CEO Natan Barak, the OurCrowd investment platform and other investors.

The transaction is being reviewed by the Defense Ministry’s Department for Security of the Defense Establishment, known by its Hebrew acronym Malmab, headed by Yuval Shimoni. Officials involved in the review have raised concerns about a foreign company gaining control of Amprest given its classified activities tied to Iron Dome and other air defense programs.

People close to the deal said the prolonged review has delayed the transaction for several months, with no clear timeline or outcome. The holdup has underscored tensions inside the Defense Ministry between efforts to attract foreign investment into defense technology and strict security oversight that can slow or block such deals.

Amprest was founded about 25 years ago by Barak, a retired Navy officer with the rank of colonel. Its profile rose roughly 15 years ago after its command-and-control software was integrated into Iron Dome. In 2012, Amprest received the Israel Defense Prize for its role in developing the air defense system.

National Guard Troops Mobilized in Minneapolis as Trump Threatens to Invoke Insurrection Act

National Guard troops have been spotted rolling through Minneapolis in Humvees as the chaos and rioting continue over ICE raids.

President Trump has repeatedly threatened to invoke the insurrection act, stating on Thursday, “If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State.”

Trump also previously said he plans to send National Guard troops back into California, Chicago, and Portland, and to invoke the Insurrection Act if necessary.

While departing the White House on Friday, Trump told reporters that he is ready to use the Insurrection Act if necessary, calling it a “very powerful” tool.

However, he said, “I don’t think there’s any reason right now to use it.”

US Air Authority Warns Of ‘Military Activities’ Over Mexico, Central America

US aviation authorities issued notices Friday warning airlines to “exercise caution” in the airspace over Mexico and Central America due to “military activities.”

The Federal Aviation Administration posted a series of messages cautioning about a “potentially hazardous situation,” citing the chance for interference to the Global Navigation Satellite System.

“The FAA issued flight advisory Notices to Airmen for specified areas of Mexico, Central America, Panama, Bogota, Guayaquil and Mazatlan Oceanic Flight Regions, and in airspace within the eastern Pacific Ocean,” an FAA spokesperson said.

The advisory remains in effect for 60 days.
