Maine ICE Shooting Witness Confirms Agents Issued Several Warnings Before “Car Was Put into Drive and Was Trying to Hit the ICE Officer”

A witness to the ICE-involved shooting in Maine on Monday completely obliterated the anti-ICE narrative being pushed by Democrats and the left-wing media by confirming the Department of Homeland Security’s account of the incident.  

26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero of Colombia attempted to run over ICE agents during a targeted enforcement operation on Monday morning, and he was fatally shot, The Gateway Pundit reported.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement, “ICE was conducting targeted surveillance on the last known address of an illegal alien with a final order of removal. An illegal alien departed the residence in a vehicle.”

“ICE law enforcement attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and fearing for public safety an officer discharged his weapon,” the statement continued.

While the left claims that the driver was an innocent shot by masked, unidentified men in unmarked vehicles and not the intended target of the ICE operations, 18-year-old Lucas Scott, a resident of Wells, Maine, told the Press Herald on Monday, the exact same story that DHS gave.

Even if Guerrero wasn’t the original target of the operation, it’s the same story every time: If someone attempts to ram an ICE agent with their vehicle, they will likely be shot at.
