NYC Mayor Breathes Life into Saudi-9/11 Connection

You could be forgiven for missing it, but in the depths of the dog days of August, with most everyone’s attention on the long Labor Day weekend, New York City Mayor Eric Adams dropped what can be interpreted as tacit acknowledgement that the government of Saudi Arabia — or at least, agents of the government — may have participated in the planning and execution of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

On Thursday, August 30, Adams met at New York City Hall with members of three advocacy groups representing 9/11 survivors and victims’ families. Alarmed by an October stop of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour at the Trump Organization-owned Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx — and convinced by recently declassified information that Saudi Arabian intelligence officials assisted al-Qaeda — the groups asked Adams to block the tournament. 

Adams, who was a NYPD lieutenant in 2001 and worked a security detail at the World Trade Center wreckage that night, said he legally could not do anything. The Trump golf course is Trump’s; Trump can welcome anyone there he likes. 

But then, instead of dismissing the 9/11 families’ specific concerns, Adams platformed them.

Parents of 9/11 Victims Put Up Billboard Next to NY Times, Accusing Them of ‘Lying About 9/11’

While the government reminds Americans every September to “never forget” what happened on September 11, 2001, what they really want you to do is remember the government’s version of events that day, and forget everything else that has come out since then.

To be clear, no one here is claiming to know exactly how 9/11 unfolded; however, the revelations which have come forth since that tragic day certainly illustrate that the government and their Praetorian guard that is the mainstream media, haven’t been entirely transparent about what happened that day and the years following.

For starters, despite the majority of the hijackers coming from Saudi Arabia, the US invaded Afghanistan and later Iraq. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were championed by outlets like the NY Times and others as these “reputable” news outlets sold murder and destruction to the American people, which led to the suffering and death of hundreds of thousands of human beings.

For nearly two decades the United States did everything it could to cover up the role of the Saudi state in the murder of 3,000 Americans. However, the evidence is so overwhelming that no amount of “official narrative changing” will stop it and families of victims have had enough.

On Monday, a billboard featuring the parents of 9/11 victims, Geoff Campbell and Bobby McIlvaine, was erected across the street from the New York Times Building, bearing the message, “Our children were murdered on 9/11. Why does the New York Times lie about how they died?”

Newly declassified documents show extensive FBI investigation of Saudi links to 9/11 terror attacks

Newly declassified documents from the FBI give a sense of the depth of the bureau’s investigation into potential ties of the Saudi government to the 9/11 terror attacks.

According to The Hill, the FBI investigated how much support Saudi officials — including one at their embassy in Washington — may have given to three Saudis involved in the attacks, including “procuring living quarters and assistance with assimilating in the country.”

The declassified records also reveal the hijackers were kept unaware of certain aspects of the terror attacks, but all of them knew they were participating in a “holy war.”

“In relation to the 9/11 attacks, the hijackers knew there was a martyrdom operation, but did not know about the nature of the operation until shortly before the attack for operational security reasons,” the documents allege.

How much did Saudi Arabia know? FBI release first secret 9/11 files showing anonymous Saudi embassy staffer ‘helped two hijackers in LA and let them stay at his apartment before the attack’

The FBI has released its first declassified 9/11 document exactly 20 years after the deadly terror attack which claimed the lives of 2,996 people.  

The document was published Saturday evening, a week after President Biden signed an executive order directing the agency to make the secret files available to the public for the first time. 

The order to release the documents came amid significant pressure from the families of 9/11 victims, who are eager to probe potential Saudi government links to the attack.

The FBI file that is significantly redacted details a 2015 interview with an official who worked at the Saudi Consulate in Los Angeles. 

He admitted that he allowed two hijackers to use his apartment and helped them travel around LA. He was found to be an al-Qaeda ‘facilitator’ by the FBI and the Saudi Consul General wanted to fire him for distributing extremist Muslim literature. 

He was also a close associate of two other Saudis, Omar al-Bayoumi and Fahad al-Thumairy, who the helped the hijackers.  

The new FBI file reveals that al-Bayoumi, who has admitted befriending them, worked as a ‘ghost employee’ at a Saudi aviation firm in the US.  

And it details how al-Thumairy gave the hijackers money, travel assistance and lodging.  

The Saudi official, who is only referred to as PII and who applied for US citizenship in 2015, is thought to be Mussaed Ahmed al-Jarrah who worked at the Saudi Consulate in Washington, DC. 

Al-Jarrah’s name was accidently left unredacted in separate court papers penned by an FBI official. However, he has vigorously denied any involvement and insists he did not know any of the hijackers.  

Of the 19 hijackers on board the four doomed 9/11 planes, 15 were Saudi nationals. 

Last Wednesday, Saudi Arabia released a statement maintaining its innocence, saying ‘it is lamentable that such false and malicious claims persist’.
