Former Biden Press Sec Karine Jean-Pierre ‘Did Not Have Any Concerns’ About His Mental Decline — Insists He Was in Total Command

Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is insisting that she never had any concerns about his mental decline.

In an interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar on Friday to promote her new book, Jean-Pierre was asked about the cover-up that took place.

Here is a transcript of the exchange:

BRIANNA KEILAR: According to my colleague Jake Tapper, who wrote a book with Alex Thompson, looking back on that, cabinet secretaries were telling them that Biden wasn’t up to the task of the proverbial 2 a.m. phone call.

George Clooney said Biden didn’t even recognize him at the fundraiser that he was hosting. I mean, we’re talking 2023, 2024, why didn’t you see — why didn’t you have concerns? Why didn’t you raise them?

JEAN-PIERRE: So I did not have any concerns. I saw him on a daily basis, Brianna. You know that. I saw him every day. I engaged with him every day.

Now, did he show age? No one is denying that. Yes, he showed age. This is a president that was sharp. This is a president that pushed his staff. This is a president that was on top of what the policies that he cared about that were important to the American people.

And let’s not forget, he also was leading a coalition, a international coalition when it came to something that we hadn’t seen in decades when it come to the war in Ukraine. There was a lot going on. You just said it in asking me one of the questions. I

It was an unprecedented time. Objectively, Brianna, we had some successes, some historic successes in the beginning of, in the first couple of years of his first term, in his presidency, and so those are the things I’m talking my personal, from my personal standpoint, what I saw.

Unearthed Biden note cards reveal he had bios, photo reminders on Hillary Clinton, Schumer

Unearthed note cards from the Biden era show the administration detailed the names and photos of high-profile Democrats, such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as lesser-known individuals for then-President Joe Biden to ostensibly reference during live events, documents obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Five different “palm cards,” which are hand-sized note cards frequently used by politicians for quick reminders or talking points during public events, especially while on the campaign trail, were uncovered amid an investigation of National Archive documents related to the Biden administration’s use of an autopen, and obtained by Fox News Digital.

Four of the five cards obtained by Fox Digital are stamped with a disclaimer reading, “PRESIDENT HAS SEEN,” while a fifth card detailing an ABC News reporter’s question to Biden during a press conference did not include that stamp.

It is unclear if Biden relied on each of the cards during the various public events. Fox News Digital reached out to Biden’s office for any comment and clarification on the use of the cards but did not immediately receive a reply.

PA Governor Shapiro Says Kamala Harris ‘Is Going to Have to Answer’ for Covering Up Joe Biden’s Rapidly Declining Health

“Loyal” Kamala Harris, who hinted that Joe Biden was racist when she first threw her hat in the presidential race, slammed Biden in her new book and also discussed why she kept quiet about Joe’s obvious, rapidly declining health.

In an excerpt obtained by The Atlantic from her upcoming memoir, ‘107 Days,’ Harris calls Biden’s decision to run for a second term ‘reckless’ and says it should not have been “left to an individual’s ego” or “ambition.”

Writing about her decision not to try to convince Biden to drop out, Harris writes, “’It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.’ We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized. Was it grace, or was it recklessness?”

“In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high.”

“This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.”

He typical word salad was not enough for Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) who said Harris “is going to have to answer” for being honest with the American people and letting the public know about Biden’s fitness to serve in the White House again.

Shapiro joined Stephen A. Smith on Thursday.

Biden’s Former Chief of Staff Admits What We All Knew About Joe

You must wonder how many more ‘Biden was braindead’ stories are going to drop. A lot has happened, not all good, over the past couple of weeks, but the investigation into Joe Biden’s use of the autopen, among other things, is still ongoing. We knew no one was in charge, but it’s become quite a shambolic unraveling in how this White House operated. For starters, it shouldn’t be a herculean effort for the Speaker of the House to get one-on-one time with the president. When it happened, Speaker Johnson said Biden couldn’t remember some executive orders he’d signed.

Now, his former chief of staff, Jeff Zients, is admitting that Joe couldn’t remember names, struggled with dates, and needed extra meetings to make decisions. In short, the president was cooked and was perpetually on the struggle bus in the final year of his failed presidency (via Axios):

Joe Biden had difficulty remembering names and dates, and often required extra meetings to make decisions in the final years of his presidency, his former chief of staff Jeff Zients told congressional investigators Thursday, according to people familiar with Zients’ remarks.

Why it matters: Zients is one of the highest-ranking officials from the Biden White House to acknowledge that Biden’s age affected his abilities — even as the 81-year-old president was seeking another four years in the Oval Office.

Driving the news: In a closed hearing, Zients told the GOP-led House Oversight Committee that over the course of the presidency Biden began asking for more meetings.

Instead of having three meetings before making a decision, for example, Biden would want four.

Zients said Biden had long had trouble with names and dates, but acknowledged to investigators that the president’s memory of such facts got worse in the final years of his term.

The intrigue: Zients also said that former First Lady Jill Biden spoke with him about managing Biden as Zients was preparing to take on the role of chief of staff in early 2023.

So, why did Democrats want this guy to run again? We know why—it’s was the cling onto power. Here we have a man who flat-out cannot do the job, but Democrats were willing to drag him along until they couldn’t, especially after the nation saw that he was brain-dead when he got bulldozed by Donald Trump in CNN’s June debate last year. And yet, for years, we were told all was well and that the report filed by Special Counsel Robert Hur, who investigated Biden for mishandling classified information, was off-base and mean-spirited. Hur described Biden as an old man with memory problems. Hur was right. We were right. The Democrats were wrong. At least, some top aides are starting to talk, whereas most have clammed up when subpoenaed.

Ex-Biden Aide Jeff Zeints Drops Bombshells in Explosive Testimony on Biden’s Cognitive Decline and Confesses Hunter Was “Directly Involved” in Pardons

The Oversight Committee, chaired by James Comer, opened an investigation into the autopen scandal and subpoenaed several Biden aides for documents and testimony.

Ex-Biden aide Jeff Zeints dropped bombshells during his testimony to the Oversight Committee on Thursday.

Over the summer, the New York Times reported that former White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zeints actually approved pardons for Dr. Fauci and others on January 19:

At the Jan. 19 meeting, which took place in the Yellow Oval Room of the White House residence, Mr. Biden kept his aides until nearly 10 p.m. to talk through such decisions, according to people familiar with the matter.

The emails show that an aide to Mr. Siskel sent a draft summary of Mr. Biden’s decisions at that meeting to an assistant to Mr. Zients, copying Mr. Siskel, at 10:03 p.m. The assistant forwarded it to Mr. Reed and Mr. Zients, asking for their approval, and then sent a final version to Ms. Feldman — copying many meeting participants and aides — at 10:28 p.m.

Three minutes later, Mr. Zients hit “reply all” and wrote, “I approve the use of the autopen for the execution of all of the following pardons.”

According to The New York Post, Zeints testified on Thursday that he called for a post-debate cognitive test and said Joe Biden’s memory got worse in office.

Zeints also told congressional investigators that Hunter Biden was “directly involved” in pardons!

““Toward the end of the Biden administration, Hunter Biden was involved with the pardon discussions and attended a few meetings,” the source revealed of Zients’ comments, confirming prior reports about how much influence the first son exerted amid a firearms felony conviction and pleading guilty to tax evasion,” the New York Post reported.

Karine Jean-Pierre: Biden’s health talking points were handled ‘at senior level’

Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre testified before the House Oversight Committee as part of an investigation into former President Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive fitness while in office.

Jean-Pierre did not speak to reporters before or after the five-hour interview on Capitol Hill.

She told the committee that “she did not see a change in Biden’s competency from 2009 to 2025,” according to a source familiar with the interview.

“She did acknowledge President Biden is not the same speaker he was when she met him,” the source noted. However, “she does not know why his speaking changed and never asked him.”

The former Biden press secretary publicly defended Biden’s June 2024 debate against President Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election. During the debate, Trump famously responded to an incoherent comment from the then-president, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”

Jean-Pierre told reporters at a press briefing following the debate that Biden was “as sharp as ever.”

According to the anonymous source, Jean-Pierre said she was told by “senior staff that President Biden has a cold.”

During her two years working for the Biden administration, she also called online videos critical of Biden’s mental acuity “cheap fakes.”

Citing the “cheap fakes” comment at the interview, Jean-Pierre said that this talking point “appeared as a talking point in her binder, but she does not know specifically who added it.”

Jean-Pierre told investigators that “various advisors” added talking points into her press briefing binder, but talking points related specifically to Biden’s health and mental fitness “were handled exclusively at the senior level,” the source said.

Jean-Pierre’s tenure as White House press secretary began when she replaced former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki in 2022 and ended when Biden’s term came to a close in early 2025. She announced shortly after leaving her post that she would also be leaving the Democrat party to become an Independent. Around that time, she broke the news about her new book detailing her time working under the Biden administration.

“Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines” is set to be published on October 21, 2025. Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (D-Ky.) said that Jean-Pierre was intentionally one of the last people to be interviewed for the investigation due to the upcoming memoir.

“We believe that she’s written some things in the book that are gonna be of interest to our entire investigation,” Comer told reporters.

Damning New Evidence Emerges In Biden Autopen Scandal

Fresh revelations about Joe Biden’s autopen scandal paint a picture so damning that even his most loyal defenders should be squirming in their seats. Internal emails obtained by the New York Post show a White House in complete disarray, with staff frantically scrambling to figure out whether Biden actually knew what documents were being signed in his name.

The timeline alone should make every American’s blood boil. On Jan. 11, Biden allegedly gave verbal approval for commuting the sentences of crack cocaine offenders. But those documents weren’t signed until Jan. 17, and only after a series of panicked late-night emails between White House staff trying to establish some semblance of proper authorization.

Staff Secretary Stef Feldman, clearly the only adult in the room, demanded verification of Biden’s approval before allowing the autopen to do its work. At 9:16 p.m. on Jan. 16, she wrote to Biden’s aides, “I’ll need an [email] from [Deputy Assistant to the President Rosa Po] confirming the president’s sign-off on the specific documents when they are finalized.”

But here’s where it gets really ugly. Deputy White House Counsel Tyeesha Dixon forwarded concerns to Chief of Staff Michael Posada, asking, “Michael, any thoughts on how to address this?” Most tellingly, Dixon noted in her email that “the president did not review the warrants.”

The expectation that autopen would handle Biden’s pardons and commutations says everything about how his White House operated and raises legitimate questions about who was really running the country. Staffers routinely mechanically applied Biden’s signature to legal documents, and now we know his own counsel admitted he never actually reviewed what he was supposedly signing.

Among those benefiting from this constitutional chaos was Russell McIntosh, a 51-year-old involved in the 1999 murder of a woman and her two-year-old child in North Carolina. This is the caliber of individual Biden’s team was cutting loose while the president remained blissfully unaware of the specifics.

The Justice Department wasn’t faring any better.

White House Counsel Sounds the Alarm as New Internal Emails Emerge in Biden Autopen Scandal

Trump White House Counsel David Warrington sounded the alarm as new internal emails emerged in the Biden autopen scandal.

Newly released internal emails confirm Joe Biden did not review the thousands of pardons granted at the end of his presidency.

The White House Counsel’s Office is investigating the autopen scandal and is expected to review over 1 million documents.

Just The News reported:

The Trump White House Counsel is raising serious questions about the legality of Joe Biden’s final wave of pardons and commutations, urging the Justice Department and Congress to interview the former president’s advisors to determine if he truly authorized acts of clemency signed by an autopen operated by staff, according to a memo obtained Saturday by Just the News.

“We believe that answering the questions above requires interviewing those involved,” White House Counsel David Warrington wrote in a memo to President Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. “As the WHC does not have the authority to conduct interviews, we recommend that you approve making the information contained in this memorandum and the supporting materials available to entities that do have that power.

“By sharing this information with the Department of Justice and the United States Congress, we will be able to assist their investigations and provide much needed transparency to the American people,” the memo added.
New internal emails reveal Joe Biden did not review thousands of pardons granted in the final days of his presidency.

“[Biden] doesn’t review the warrants,” one of the White House lawyers said.

Top Biden Aide Andrew Bates Refuses to Answer Whether Joe Biden Actually Ran the White House; Lashes Out at Trump in Testimony to Oversight Committee

Biden aide Andrew Bates arrived on Capitol Hill on Friday morning to testify before the House Oversight Committee.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer subpoenaed several top Biden aides to testify on Biden’s mental health decline.

Andrew Bates refused to answer whether Joe Biden actually ran the White House when he arrived at his deposition.

According to The Hill, Andrew Bates lashed out at Trump during his opening statement to the Oversight Committee.

The Hill reported:

Andrew Bates, a former senior deputy press secretary for President Biden, slammed the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee investigating his former boss on Friday in an opening statement he made to the panel.

Bates is on Capitol Hill as one of multiple former Biden aides who have gone in person before the panel for the committee’s investigation into Biden’s mental acuity and use of an autopen. He appeared voluntarily.

The former White House official lambasted President Trump in his statement to the GOP-led panel. He said lawmakers are wasting taxpayer money to investigate Biden but turn a blind eye to a multitude of what he deemed offenses being committed by the Oval Office’s current occupant.

“As illegal tariffs raise the costs that Trump promised to lower, the sitting president is profiting off of the American people. He has sold special access to whomever bought the most of his
cryptocurrency. He is illegally trying to take over the Federal Reserve, which Republican economists warn will increase inflation,” Bates said, according to his statement obtained by The Hill.

Chairman Comer previously demanded testimony from: Biden White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Director of Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden, Former Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to First Lady Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, Former Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini, Former Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams.

Bombshell memos: Biden aides believed he should sign pardons by hand, he outsourced approval to VP

nternal memos obtained by Just the News show President Joe Biden’s aides believed at the beginning of his administration that he had an obligation to personally sign official presidential actions, including pardons, and chronicle how the former president later outsourced clemency decisions to then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

The memos were gathered as part of a sweeping review by the Trump White House into Biden’s use of autopen signatures for official business, an inquiry that now raises new questions about whether the former president actually attended four meetings late in his term dedicated to making clemency decisions.

Those clemency decisions included pre-emptive pardons for Biden family members as well as commutations for federal death row sentences.

No records of Biden attending meetings that resulted in clemency

The National Archives and Records Administration told the Trump White House Counsel’s office that “we did not find specific meeting notes that clearly mention or note that the President was present” for any of the four meetings, according to the documents reviewed by Just the News.

“President Biden’s decision memo on commuting federal death row sentences is unmarked, and NARA cannot find a version indicating President Biden’s approval,” the documents added.

The Office of Joe and Jill Biden did not respond to a request for comment sent through its contact page.

The Pew Research Center reported that Biden “granted more acts of clemency than any previous chief executive on record” and noted that “overall, Biden granted 4,245 acts of clemency during his four-year tenure in the White House.”

In June, President Donald Trump ordered the White House Counsel to lead an investigation into whether any senior administration officials had “conspired to deceive the public” about the former president’s mental state and exercise his authority and responsibilities.

Trump then specifically directed the investigators to probe the use of the autopen on official documents or clemency actions.
