Minnesota Transgender State Rep. Leigh Finke Calls on Anti-ICE Protestors to Storm More Churches

Minnesota transgender State Rep. Leigh Finke called on leftists to storm more churches in protest of ICE.

Far-left anti-ICE protestors stormed Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday.

Former CNN host Don Lemon livestreamed the crime.

Parishioners and children were terrified as leftists, led by BLM activist Nikema Armstrong shouted down the pastor.

The Justice Department is currently investigating for potential violations of the federal FACE Act.

“The FACE Act is a long-standing federal statute that prohibits force, threats, obstruction, any kind of interference with a religious place of worship. And it carries criminal penalties and violations,” DOJ official Alina Habba said on Monday.

However, Leigh Finke said anti-ICE protestors must continue to storm churches until “ICE is out of our state.”

Full statement from Leigh Finke:

Yesterday protesters disrupted services at Cities Church in Saint Paul, where the leader of the local I.C.E. office also serves as pastor.

The protest has caused outrage, promises of retribution and prosecution, and the usual round of upset. But it has had me thinking for the past 24 hours of the actions of Act Up and WHAM, in 1989, who staged a die in and protest in St Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. An action that similarly brought condemnation during a time when an out of control crisis was left to its destruction for far too long.

Actions like this—nonviolent resistance in the face of government inaction or oppression—are essential. And they must continue until I.C.E. is out of our state, the administration is out of the White House, and dignity and humanity for all of our neighbors is achieved.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr Day in America. Dr. King knew that injustice must be confronted. He knew the moral conscience of the nation must be made to hear the desperate plight of those who are suffering. He knew that the only way to achieve this at national scale was for people to rise up together in nonviolent revolution until all were free.

So did Act UP, and so do the people of Minneapolis. I.C.E. OUT

DHS: Minneapolis Holding 1,370 Criminal Illegals, Refuses to Turn Them Over for Deportation

Senior Trump administration officials and Fox News hosts sharply criticized Minnesota’s Democratic leadership during a Fox News segment addressing violent protests, alleged interference with federal immigration enforcement, and an ongoing Department of Justice investigation tied to recent unrest in Minneapolis.

During the discussion, Tricia McLaughlin condemned what she described as the left’s reaction to the protests and the treatment of worshipers whose First Amendment rights were violated.

“This is outright hysteria we are seeing from the left, and this should be the easiest thing in the world for Tim Walz and Mayor Frey to condemn. This shouldn’t be a Republican or Democrat issue. These are worshipers who are practicing their First Amendment rights to worship, and yet those rights were trampled on by these protesters who trespassed and began intimidating these Christians worshiping,” McLaughlin said.

She added, “So I’m glad to see the Department of Justice is taking this incredibly seriously, and I hope we see mug shot soon.”

Dana Perino introduced video of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, noting, “Mayor Frey talked about protesters overall. He was on CNN on Sunday, watch.”

In the clip, Frey defended demonstrators and rejected claims of disorder.

“Invaded, under siege, occupied. You know, use whatever word or superlative that you want to attach. But the bottom line is, what is taking place is designed to intimidate. It is not fair, it’s not just, and it’s completely unconstitutional. They’re peacefully protesting. They’re standing up for one another,” Frey said.

Minneapolis Police ‘Victim Blame’ Nick Sortor After He is Robbed: Tell Him HE is the Problem and Needs to Leave the Area

The Gateway Pundit reported that independent journalist Nick Sortor was robbed of a $1,000 camera by an apparent Somali woman while filming in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Sunday. Police in Minneapolis responded by telling Sorter HE is the problem and needed to leave.

Sortor shared a video from the incident showing a masked woman ripping the camera out of his hand while he is behind the wheel of his vehicle.

A man then approached him, screaming, “That’s what the f*ck you wanted, right? That’s what the f*ck you wanted, right?”

Sorter jumped out of the car and chased the robber to a waiting vehicle, and they sped off with him holding onto the door handle. He shared that he was then dragged down the street after his hand got stuck in the car’s door handle.

Sortor spoke with the Minneapolis Police, who responded to the robbery by saying, “We have a ton of calls stacked that we have to answer. I don’t have a timeframe for you.”

“My point is, you guys need to not be in this area. I mean, I can’t tell you you have to leave, but if we’re getting calls of you guys harassing people…”

Sortor and his companion clarify that they are driving around, reporting on the situation, noting, “Driving around is not harassing anybody.”

“No one’s being harassed.”

The officer continued, “100% that’s fine, I’m just saying if it rises to that level, because they’re saying you guys are.”

Sortor cut in, “We’re journalists. Some people are trying to intimidate us out of here for doing our First Amendment freedom.”

The officer responded, “I know. But we don’t need this stuff to keep happening. The hostility obviously not going to go away.”

“We just want our stuff back,” Sortor stated.

The police then went through the process of a police report and the steps to an arrest, but added, “But you guys need to do us a favor and stay out of this area.”

Minnesota and the New Nullification Crisis

The antics of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz have been much in the news of late, but the corporate media has studiously ignored the legal and historical context of his refusal to comply with federal immigration law. Minnesota is just one of 16 Democrat-controlled states that have enacted measures that violate the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Clause 2), which provides that federal law takes precedence over conflicting laws passed by states. These Democrats are reenacting the nullification crisis that historians regard as a precursor to the Civil War.

These “sanctuary states” include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. How precisely are they violating the Supremacy Clause? Article I, Section 8, Clause 4 of the Constitution gives Congress plenary authority over immigration. Congress has passed a variety of laws designed to control which immigrants may legally enter and reside in the U.S. Yet when ICE officials try to enforce these laws, these states interfere, falsely claiming their own immigration statutes somehow take precedence.

Some of these states, including Minnesota, have simply declared themselves sanctuary jurisdictions without bothering to pass a law. The Gopher State did so based on nothing more than an advisory opinion issued by its far left attorney general Keith Ellison: “Minnesota law prohibits state and local law enforcement agencies from holding someone based on an immigration detainer if the person would otherwise be released from custody.” Thus, local authorities release illegal aliens knowing that ICE officers are on their way to arrest them. As Michael R. Davis, President of the Article III Project, writes at Fox News:

Sanctuary states and cities cripple federal law enforcement. Leftist leaders refuse to assist the federal government in enforcing immigration law, including the outrageous refusal to honor federal detainers for illegal immigrants arrested for other crimes. When state jails release illegal immigrants, officials fail to notify ICE. Agents must track fugitives on the streets instead of making safe arrests inside jails, exposing themselves and the public to unnecessary danger. Sanctuary policies shield murderers, pedophiles, drug dealers, and armed robbers from deportation.

In many ways, this is worse than mere nullification. Earlier attempts by states to nullify federal laws have been based on the theory that Congress or federal courts had overstepped their constitutional authority. Indeed, that has been the basis for such challenges going back to the first nullification crisis prior to the Civil War. John C. Calhoun of South Carolina argued that the national government was merely a compact of the states. He believed the states were superior to the federal government and could unilaterally decide whether any particular federal law exceeded the authority that had been delegated to the national government.

From Sanctuary to Subpoena?: Walz and Frey’s Little Rebellion Just Got a Federal Wake-Up Call

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche accused a governor and a mayor of actively encouraging actions that obstruct Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, calling such conduct illegal under federal law and saying elected officials should be supporting, not undermining, federal officers.

Blanche made the remarks while addressing what he described as public statements and actions by state and local leaders that he said have encouraged individuals to interfere with ICE agents as they carry out their duties.

He said federal law is clear that officers must be allowed to perform their jobs without interference, regardless of who is doing the obstructing.

“You saw the governor and the mayor actively encouraging, encouraging criminals to go out on the street and impede ICE that is not allowed under our law,” Blanche said.

“When a Federal officer is out doing their job, they have to be allowed to do their jobs.”

Blanche said the Justice Department found it necessary to confront the situation directly because of what he characterized as a breakdown in support from state and local leadership.

He said it was troubling that federal officials had to intervene to address the conduct of elected leaders.

DOJ Now Investigating Disgraced Don Lemon and Radical Anti-ICE Mob for Potential Criminal Violations Following Minneapolis Church Disruption

A full-blown assault on Christian worship unfolded Sunday morning in Minnesota as a radical anti-ICE mob stormed a church service, shut down prayer, and harassed parishioners while disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon live-streamed the chaos.

The mob descended on the sanctuary because the church’s pastor reportedly also serves as a field director with ICE.

Lemon telegraphed his stunt the day before, boasting on Instagram that he was headed to Minnesota to “report on ICE” and urging followers to tune in to his live broadcast.

On Sunday, cameras rolled as agitators shouted down the pastor, disrupted prayer, and scattered congregants.

“This is the beginning of what’s going to happen here,” Lemon said on his stream as the service was derailed. Moments later, he admitted the obvious: “They’ve stopped the service—a lot of people have left.”

This wasn’t reporting. It was participation.

Far-left activist Nekima Levy Armstrong publicly praised the disruption on social media, thanking a roster of agitators and media allies—including Lemon, while declaring “judgment” had come to the “House of God.” The post reads like a victory lap over silencing Christian worship.

ICE Agent Calls Out MN Protesters for Disrupting Child Sex Offender Arrest

A viral video circulating on social media Sunday appeared to show agitators interfering with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation targeting an alleged child sex offender in Minnesota, prompting responses from federal officials and senior members of President Donald Trump’s administration.

The video, which was posted to X and viewed more than 750,000 times within hours, shows an ICE agent confronting individuals in St. Paul who he said were disrupting federal officers as they attempted to take a suspect into custody.

According to the agent, the interference included repeated honking from nearby vehicles as officers worked to make the arrest.

“We’re here to arrest a child sex offender and you guys are out here honking,” the agent says in the video.

“No, we’re press,” someone off-camera responds.

“We’re not honking.”

The agent then gestures toward a nearby vehicle and continues addressing those filming.

WTH? Keith Ellison Says Renee Good Died “On Behalf of the Most Vulnerable Members of Our Community” and It’s “Beautiful” – Don Lemon Eats it Up

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison on Sunday described Renee Good’s death after she tried to kill an ICE agent as “beautiful” and noble during an interview with disgraced ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon.

During his pilgrimage to Minnesota to support anti-ICE riots and report on the violent but peaceful protests, Lemon took a moment to join Ellison in glorifying a deranged leftist woman who attempted to murder a law enforcement officer.

At the scene of Renee Good’s violent assault on the agent, Ellison told Lemon that Good “lost her life trying to be vigilant on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our community.” He continued, “I think that that is beautiful.”

Lemon awkwardly responded with affirmation, “As we say in this country, right? ‘We are in pursuit of a more perfect union.’”

“A more perfect union,” Ellison agreed before offering his fist to Lemon.

MN governor threatens to call up National Guard in response to ICE

Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) continues to defy President Donald Trump’s efforts to round up and deport dangerous illegal alien criminals. Walz recently declared that Minnesota does not need any further help from the federal government in dealing with political unrest, and he issued a threat.

“I’ve issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard. We have soldiers in training prepared to be deployed if necessary,” stated Walz.

This comes after the Minneapolis shooting of Renee Nicole Macklin Good, who was shot after defying orders from federal ICE agents to stop her vehicle, then trying to run them over. Associated Press reported that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem labeled this as an “act of terrorism,” standing firm that ICE was not leaving the state despite the protest of Walz and others.

Insurrection? Minnesota Democrat Rep. Angie Craig Says Local Cities Telling Business Owners to Call 911 on ICE so Local Police Can “De-Escalate Federal Agents”

Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) said while recently touring immigrant owned businesses in Minnesota she was told that local cities are telling business owners to call 911 if ICE agents enter their business or are in their parking lot so local police can “de-escalate federal agents.”

Craig also said, “Minnesotans, we know how to fight. This is no time for Minnesota nice.”

While ICE is trying to arrest and deport criminal aliens, Democrats wants residents to tie up 911 phone lines to stop ICE. Heart attacks, rapes and murder calls to 911 will apparently just have to wait for the insurrection.

Craig made her comments on the MSNOW show Politics Nation with host Rev. Al Sharpton.
