A biological male who identifies as a woman and goes by the name “Amber Grace” told University of Utah College Republicans that “Republicans should be shot in the street” moments before tackling a student and ripping his shirt during a campus tabling event.
Rylie Barnes, president of the College Republicans chapter, captured the assault on video.
Journalist Andy Ngo identified the individual as Robert Jefferson Tulley, a Roblox game developer who works at Gamefam Studios in Salt Lake City on children’s gaming projects.
The confrontation took place near the Marriott Library, where the College Republicans had set up a whiteboard reading “There are only two genders” and inviting students to vote yes or no.
According to the group, Tulley approached the table, wiped the board clean by hand, and later returned after it was redrawn.
When a member asked whether he believed in free speech, Tulley laughed and replied, “No, I think Republicans should be shot in the street, personally.”
Tulley then demanded the video be deleted, and when refused, he lunged, tackled the student to the ground, and tore his sweatshirt and shirt.
Bystanders broke it up.
