Radical socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has repeatedly puffed up his chest with threats against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In July, Mamdan threatened to arrest Netanyahu during this week’s UN General Assembly.
“Netanyahu belongs in The Hague,” Mamdani said, referencing Prison Scheveningen in The Hague, Netherlands, home of the United Nations Detention Unit (UNDU) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) Detention Center.
In a wide-ranging interview with the New York Times, Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked Mamdani whether he would follow through on his campaign promise to “arrest Benjamin Netanyahu.”
A promise he later admitted he lacked the political power to follow through on.
Now, Netanyahu is pushing back.
