Operation Twin Shield uncovers 275 cases of suspected immigration fraud in Minnesota, feds announce

Federal authorities announced today they have completed Operation Twin Shield, the first wave of a new crackdown on immigration fraud in Minnesota.

In a press briefing, Director Joseph B. Edlow of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said the immigration enforcement effort investigated more than 1,000 cases and its findings “should shock all of America.”

Operation Twin Shield began on Sept. 19 and involved federal authorities conducting site visits across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. The operation was coordinated by USCIS, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the FBI.

“Our officers encountered blatant marriage fraud, visa overstays, people claiming to work at businesses that can’t be found, forged documents, abuse of the H1-B visa system, abuse of the F-1 visas, and many other discrepancies,” said Edlow.

According to Edlow, authorities found indications of fraud, noncompliance, or public safety concerns in 275 cases.

“In one case officers identified an alien who had overstayed his visa waiver, who was the son of a known or suspected terrorist on the no-fly list,” said Edlow. “He had previously been found to have engaged in marriage fraud which resulted in the denial of several immigration benefit requests.”

Edlow said that alien was arrested and is now being sent back to his country of origin.

“In another, an individual admitted to obtaining a fake death certificate in Kenya for just $100 to prove he was no longer married,” said Edlow. “In reality, his wife is alive, living here in Minneapolis, and is the mother of five of his children. And incidentally, he has another wife living in Sweden with whom he has an additional three children.”

Foreign Countries Forget That They Have No Say in US Policies

President Trump recently delivered a scathing address at the United Nations, criticizing Europe for allowing unbridled immigration and warning it would lead to the continent’s destruction. He contrasted this with his own record, noting his policies had reduced illegal entries into the United States to about 5 percent of the level under Biden.

Trump was criticized in Europe and elsewhere for his immigration policies, even though they were clearly better for the US and despite data showing how immigration is destabilizing Europe. Many world leaders not only rejected Trump’s recommendations but also wanted him to reverse US immigration policies, reopen the borders, and allow 20 million illegal immigrants to remain in the country. Global reactions to his speech reflected the broader belief that foreign governments should have a say in American domestic policies such as immigration.

On the first day of his first administration, in January 2017, Trump withdrew the US from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a 12-nation trade deal. He argued it was a bad agreement that would harm American workers while benefiting special interests.

Trump declared that his administration’s policy would be to prioritize the financial well-being of Americans in all negotiations and to create fair, economically beneficial agreements that served their interests. He emphasized his intention to negotiate directly with individual countries on a one-on-one basis rather than through large multilateral deals.

Critics around the world accused him of undermining global trade, but his decision effectively ended the TPP, which was largely scrapped after the U.S. withdrawal. During the campaign, Trump had been blunt, calling the TPP “another disaster done and pushed by special interests” and “a continuing rape of our country.”

Also, during his first term, Trump was sharply criticized for withdrawing the US from the World Health Organization. Opponents claimed the move would damage the WHO’s credibility and weaken compliance among member states.

Trump defended the decision by citing the organization’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that began in Wuhan, its bias toward China, and its lack of independence from political pressure. He also argued the WHO demanded unfairly high payments from the US, while China, with a population more than four times larger, contributed nearly 90 percent less.

Similar criticism resurfaced in 2025 when RFK Jr. urged the US to reject new global health agreements, calling the WHO “moribund.” That May, 124 countries voted for the WHO Pandemic Accord, with only 11 abstentions, but RFK Jr. urged states to reject it. In September, he dismissed a UN declaration on non-communicable diseases, declaring the United States would “walk away” from the agreement.

Corporate And Academic DEI Offices Imported H-1B Workers To Tell Americans They’re Racist

American companies and institutions have utilized the notoriously abused H-1B work visa program to staff diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) offices, according to documents released by Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo.

“I’ve reviewed numerous examples of hospitals, universities and other employers hiring foreign H-1B workers as DEI bureaucrats,” Schmitt said on social media. “Examples range from large banks and law firms to universities, healthcare systems, and even municipal park districts. Obviously, DEI positions are plainly non-technical and ideological in nature, and appear to fall outside the ‘specialty occupation’ intent of the H-1B statute.”

The senator’s office reviewed H-1B visa applications submitted by various employers and found that Yale New Haven Health filed Labor Condition Applications for the job of “Diversity and Inclusion Specialists.”

Carnegie Mellon University filed the same document for “Associate Dean of Diversity, Inclusion, Climate & Equity.” The trustees of Dartmouth College wanted a “Program Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.” As American academia is the progenitor of the DEI ideology, it is unsurprising to find it behind much of the H-1B abuse to fill DEI jobs.

In a letter to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Joseph Edlow, Schmitt said those are “just a few of many examples.”

“More to the point, in light of everything we know about DEI, it is alarming that both private companies and public institutions alike appear to be using foreign workers to work in these roles — placing non-Americans in positions where they are tasked with policing the speech and thought of our own citizens,” Schmitt added.

As The Federalist reported, that kind of replacement is a feature of the playbook run by the left and the so-called “elite,” who consolidate power over the generational folkways of Americans by ushering in millions of people whose culture is totally unrecognizable to U.S. citizens. H-1B visas appear to be yet another tool in the left’s arsenal of government programs to achieve its political goals.

Schmitt himself recognized the detriments of “legal” immigration earlier this month at the National Conservatism conference, slamming the H-1B program specifically because it “imported millions of foreign nationals to replace American workers — and transferred entire industries into the hands of foreign lobbies.”

“Rather than recruiting genuinely exceptional top-level talent, in many cases the H-1B visa is now regularly used to staff middle management bureaucracies,” Schmitt said on social media. “Rather than 160+ IQ rocket scientists, it’s being used to import HR managers, customer service representatives, and so on.”

Refugees In Holland Can Obtain Social Housing Within 14 Weeks; Locals Wait Up To 12 Years

The Netherlands is the second most densely populated country in Europe, and with surging mass immigration, has been experiencing a raging housing crisis for years.

However, despite this crisis, refugees can gain access to social housing in a mere 14 weeks, while the average Dutch citizen must wait up until 12 years. Now, efforts are being made to right this injustice for Dutch citizens with a new bill, but Council of State, the country’s highest legal advisory body, is criticizing any attempt to block housing access to refugees. The authority claims refugees should receive equal treatment, as required by the Dutch constitution.

Of course, the fact that there is no equal treatment currently, and that refugees are gaining access to social housing years before Dutch on waiting lists, does not appear to factor into the Council of State’s concerns, according to Dutch news outlet NOS.nl.

The minister behind the proposal, Mona Keijzer of the BBB party, says she is not backing down. Keijzer’s plan aims to create more affordable housing by ensuring that refugees, or “status holders,” no longer receive priority for housing solely because of their status

The Council of State argues that the proposal leads to unequal treatment, which is “contrary to the Constitution.” The Council has advised the cabinet not to submit the bill to the House of Representatives.

However, Minister Keijzer is not swayed by the advice.

“That’s kind of how the discussion is conducted in the Netherlands. And that’s a shame,” she said. Regarding the “unconstitutional” judgment, she stated, “The Constitution is not mathematics, it also states that I must take care of public housing for Dutch people.”

Feds Charge Somalis with Massive $8.4 Million Medicaid Fraud

The U.S. attorney in Minnesota announced charges against eight Somali migrants connected to $8.4 million in Medicaid billing fraud hidden inside a state-funded housing program.

U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson announced Thursday that an investigation found that the eight suspects provided Medicaid with long lists of “clients” who they claimed to have worked with to enroll into Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization Service and billed Medicaid for this work. But, investigators say that no such work was ever performed and the clients were fictional.

The HSS fraud only adds to the growing number of fraudulent and mismanaged state programs, including the hundreds of autism clinics that wasted tens of millions in state tax dollars, and the $250 million fraud in a coronavirus relief program that was supposed to pay for food for children.

“Most of these individuals did not receive the stable housing they so desperately needed,” Thompson said during a Thursday press conference said. “The money was just simply stolen.”

President Trump Goes Scorched Earth on Ilhan Omar, Accuses Her of Committing Immigration Fraud by Marrying Her Brother

On Thursday evening, President Trump went scorched earth on Muslima Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar and accused her of potentially committing immigration fraud by marrying her own brother.

“Ilhan Omar’s Country of Somalia is plagued by a lack of central Government control, persistent Poverty, Hunger, Resurgent Terrorism, Piracy, decades of Civil War, Corruption, and pervasive Violence. 70% of the population lives in extreme Poverty, and widespread Food Insecurity. Somalia is consistently ranked among the World’s Most Corrupt Countries, including Bribery, Embezzlement, and a Dysfunctional Government. All of this, and Ilhan Omar tells us how to run America! P.S. Wasn’t she the one that married her brother in order to gain Citizenship??? What SCUM we have in our Country, telling us what to do, and how to do it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” President Trump said.

Earlier Thursday, President Trump responded to the Justice Department’s announcement it charged eight people with wire fraud for their roles in Minnesota’s Housing Stabilization program.

Here are the defendants:

Obama Defends His Mass Migration ‘Experiment’ After Charlie Kirk Shooting

Former President Barack Obama is trying to manage and redirect the huge civic conflicts that he fuelled with his “experiment” in nation-changing mass migration.

“[I] insist that in that process of debate, we respect other people’s right to say things that we profoundly disagree with,” Obama told a September 16 public meeting at the Jefferson Educational Society, six days after progressives began celebrating Kirk’s shocking murder.

“I didn’t know Charlie Kirk … I think [his] ideas were wrong,” he said, adding:

I can disagree with some of [Kirk’s] broader suggestions that liberals and Democrats are promoting conspiracy to displace whites and replace them by ushering in illegal immigrants. Those are … topics that we have to be able to discuss honestly and forthrightly.

Krik repeatedly criticized migration as a wealth-shifting, population-changing imposition by the bipartisan establishment.

Yet at the same event, Obama acknowledged that mass migration is an elite-driven “experiment” which has created and fuelled civic conflict.

“There’s never been an experiment [emphasis added] like this, where you have people from every corner of the globe show up in one place,” Obama said, adding:

[We] say, based on these ideals — we hold these truths to be self-evident…all men are created equal … and a constitution and a Bill of Rights and a democracy — that we can somehow figure out how to get along and maintain our private beliefs and pray to god in our own ways, and retain aspects of the cultures that we bring from wherever it is that we’re coming from, and yet still decide that we are all Americans … and try to make it better for each successive generation.

“I think George W. Bush believed that [it is possible] … I know John McCain believed it. I know Mitt Romney believed it,” Obama added at 23 minutes.

The imposed diversity has generated civic conflict, Obama admitted:

The point is, is that bipartisanship worked pretty well in Washington when everybody looked the same. And it was harder to do when people started seeing that, “Hey, those folks are now here, too.”

“The country right now is going through sort of a political crisis of the sort that we haven’t seen before,” he admitted.

“I’ve Never Experienced Crime Of This Magnitude Before”: 20-Year Veteran Austrian Police Spox

More than 30 victims of a Syrian youth gang, known as “505,” have been recorded n the cities of Graz and Vienna.

The suspects range in age from 17 to 20, with police reporting they dealt a “severe blow” to the group with mass arrests.

“I’ve never experienced a dimension (of crime) of this magnitude before, and I’ve been in this business for 20 years,” said police spokesman Fritz Grundnig.

The organized gang is accused of a long series of extremely violent assaults between November 2024 and June 2025, mostly in Graz. Styrian police have released details to the national media about the group, including their involvement in the narcotics trade.

“A total of over 20 crimes have been reported, with over 30 victims injured and assaulted by this gang,” said Grundnig.

“The men are suspected of having intentionally committed grievous bodily harm, aggravated assault, robberies, dangerous threats, and coercion in Graz since the end of 2024, with varying degrees of involvement, and of having joined forces in a criminal organization,” an additional press release reads. The investigation revealed that the “505” group used blunt and stabbing weapons. Among the victims were minors, according to media outlet Die Presse.

Despite the gang being focused in Graz, a number of arrests were made in Vienna as well.

Many victims faced extreme violence.

“For example, in June, the group stabbed another man at Griesplatz. He suffered a stab wound in the thigh,” Grundnig reported.

The police spokesperson also said that the gang is involved in the narcotics trade.

“During the house searches, which were of course carried out as part of this operation, a considerable quantity of drugs was found,” he stated.

The gang apparently named itself after another Arab clan gang, which participated in brutal clashes between Chechens, Turks, and Syrians, who gathered under the name 505 or 505/515, in Vienna in 2024.

Those clashes saw gun battles, multiple stabbings, and routine violence.

Ireland’s Prime Minister Declares ‘Ireland For The Irish’ an Incitement to Violence

Ireland’s Taoiseach has claimed the phrase “Ireland for the Irish” amounts to an incitement of violence.

According to the Irish Examiner, Prime Minister Micheál Martin said that his country was at a “very serious crossroads.”

“There is a narrative growing in this country which is trying to other people because of their colour, their race, their creed,” Martin said.

“I think the vast, vast majority of Irish people recoil at this, but we have to be better, more strategic in dealing with this and engaging with this because this is undermining the dignity of every child born in this country.”

Martin added that phrases like “Ireland for the Irish” promote violence against minorities and undermine societal cohesion.

“This is, to me now, an emerging societal issue for us all,” he continued. “Where do we want Ireland to go? What kind of society do we want?”

“We’ve developed, we’ve progressed. We can’t regress and that means conversations and engaging with people.”

“It’s tantamount to an incitement and it needs to stop. Irish society needs to take stock.”
