Maricopa County in Arizona announced on Monday that some early in-person voting locations have been temporarily closed due to “power related issues.”
The Maricopa County Elections Department announced on X, “Due to power related issues, the Vote Centers located at Paradise Community College and Sunset Canyon School are temporarily closed. Please visit https://Locations.Maricopa.Vote to find a nearby voting location.”
However, one Maricopa County resident who spoke to The Gateway Pundit said he went to Paradise Community College, Sunset Canyon School, and a third polling location near Cactus Rd. and Tatum Blvd. in North Phoenix, and they were all closed. “We’re getting f*cked with again,” they said.
Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet encouraged voters not to be “deterred” and shared a link with additional voting locations.
Back in 2022, on Election Day, voting centers across Maricopa County, the largest in the state, faced vote tabulator failures at roughly 60% of voting locations, leaving the majority-Republican in-person voters stuck waiting in hours-long lines or unable to vote.
