Federal Employee Charged With Capital Murder For Slipping Abortion Pills Into Girlfriend’s Coffee

A 38-year-old Texas resident and federal employee was arrested and charged for killing his preborn child by feeding his girlfriend abortion-inducing drugs without her knowledge.

The Austin-American Statesman reported that Justin Anthony Banta was arrested June 6 and charged with capital murder and evidence tampering. In September 2024, he allegedly snuck abortion pills into his girlfriend’s drink at a coffee shop at about six weeks of pregnancy after she rebuffed his offer to buy “Plan C” for her, saying she wanted the baby.

The girlfriend, who remains anonymous, told police that she began experiencing severe fatigue and bleeding the next day, requiring an emergency room visit, and ultimately lost her baby on October 19.

Police confiscated Banta’s phone during the course of the investigation, accusing him of tampering with it remotely to delete evidence, allegedly using his skills as an IT staffer for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

“Sheriff Authier expressed his gratitude to the owners and staff of the coffee shop … for their full cooperation, along with the efforts of Parker County Sheriff’s Office investigators, the Texas Rangers, Benbrook Police, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Digital Forensic and Technical Services, the U.S. Secret Service, the Regional Organized Crime Information Center (ROCIC) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for their support and resources throughout this extensive investigation,” the Parker County Sheriff’s Office said.

In Texas, capital murder is punishable at a minimum of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, though it is possible prosecutors could seek the death penalty.

Despite the abortion lobby’s framing of abortion as a matter of “choice,” it has long turned a blind eye to abortion coercion.

Live Action’s “Aiding Abusers” series draws on news reports, eyewitness testimony, and undercover video to expose Planned Parenthood employees’ willingness to offer abortions to girls as young as 12 without reporting signs of statutory or forcible rape to law enforcement. This enables the men who brought the girls in for appointments to bring them home and continue abusing them.

In 2023, the pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute released a study that interviewed 1,000 American women and found that 61 percent of women who undergo abortions do so due to pressure from “male partners, family members, other persons, financial concerns, and other circumstances.”

“Forcing a woman to have an abortion, including a minor, is illegal in all 50 states of the United States of America,” according to the Justice Foundation’s Center Against Forced Abortions, which offers a variety of information resources to help those who are being pressured into killing their babies.

Guilt by Algorithm: Woman Wrongly Accused of Shoplifting Due to Facial Recognition Error

A woman was left “fuming” after being erroneously accused of stealing toilet paper and ejected from two Home Bargains stores in Greater Manchester, UK, due to an apparent mix-up with a facial recognition system designed to prevent shoplifting.

BBC News reports that Danielle Horan, a makeup business owner, found herself in a distressing situation when she was escorted out of Home Bargains branches in Salford and Manchester, without initially being given any explanation for her removal. It was later discovered that Horan had been falsely accused of stealing approximately £10 worth of items after her profile was added to a facial recognition watchlist used by the stores.

The incident unfolded on May 24, when Horan visited the Home Bargains store on Regent Road in Salford. As she was shopping, the store manager approached her and asked her to leave, causing Horan to feel embarrassed and confused in front of other customers. Despite her protestations, the manager advised her to contact Facewatch, the retail security firm that provides the facial recognition technology, directly.

Horan’s attempts to reach out to both Facewatch and Home Bargains initially proved futile. However, when she visited another Home Bargains store in Fallowfield, Manchester, with her 81-year-old mother on June 4, she was once again surrounded by staff and told to leave the premises as soon as she entered the store. This time, Horan stood her ground and demanded an explanation for her treatment.

After persistent emails to Facewatch and Home Bargains, Horan finally learned that there had been an allegation of theft involving approximately £10 worth of toilet rolls in early May. Somehow, her picture had been circulated to local stores, alerting them not to allow her entry. Horan checked her bank account and confirmed that she had, in fact, paid for the items in question.

Eventually, Facewatch responded to Horan, stating that a review of the incident showed she had not stolen anything. The firm acknowledged the distressing nature of Horan’s experience and noted that the retailer had since undertaken additional staff training. However, Horan’s ordeal had already taken a toll on her mental well-being, causing anxiety and stress as she questioned her actions and felt sick to her stomach for a week.

Minn. shooting suspect Vance Boelter ran bogus security company and faced ‘struggles’ after prolonged stint in Africa, roommate says

Suspected assassin Vance Boelter fronted a security firm that his best friend said never existed and experienced “struggles” after returning from a three-year trip to Africa months before he allegedly turned his gun on a pair of Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses.

Federal and state authorities are on the hunt for Boelter, 57, who allegedly disguised himself as a cop before executing former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, in their home early Saturday, just prior to shooting and seriously wounding state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, in their house.

Authorities are closing in on Boelter after his car was found in a rural area near his home — and neighbors reported hearing gunshots.

Friends and roommates described the accused gunman as a quiet, intelligent family man who rarely discussed politics.

California City Makes Homeless Eligible For Arrest If They Refuse 3 Offers Of Shelter

The San Jose City Council in Northern California voted June 10 to render homeless individuals, who refuse three offers of shelter, in violation of trespassing laws and able to be arrested.

The council members voted 9–2 in favor of amending the city’s encampment code of conduct with a “responsibility to shelter” provision.

San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, a Democrat, introduced the proposal, which is among the stricter anti-encampment laws introduced since the Supreme Court in 2023 made it simpler for cities to ban homeless people from camping on public property. Mahan said that, if the city has enough shelter and interim housing, homeless people should be required to move into them.

Vice Mayor Pam Foley said getting people housed is the first step to getting them the help they need.

“We cannot expect to adequately treat mental illness, addiction, or unemployment effectively if someone is living outdoors,” Foley said during the City Council meeting. “Stable shelter, whether through interim housing, safe parking, or safe sleeping sites, not only connects people with critical services and job training, but ultimately paves the way toward permanent housing.”

Foley said the updated Code of Conduct demonstrates that San Jose is dedicated to reducing homelessness and restoring access to public spaces.

“When shelter becomes available, choosing not to fill those spaces only sets us back,” she said. “We must ensure that every opportunity to move people indoors is used to its fullest potential for both their sake and for the broader San Jose community’s well being.”

The city will not make arrests merely for refusing shelter, but, rather, for trespassing. The goal of the code of conduct revision is to enhance engagement with the homeless community.

Councilmember Peter Ortiz, who voted “no” on the proposal, fears the code of conduct revision could lead to a situation where the city has de facto criminalized homelessness, pointing out that the policy says somebody who simply declines shelter could be arrested. He noted that there are many reasons one may deny shelter, including unsafe shelter conditions or incompatibility.

“I think that by including arrest language in this policy, there could be unintended consequences,” he said at the city council meeting.

THEY GOT HIM: Minnesota Shooter Vance Boelter Apprehended

The manhunt is over. Vance Boelter—the suspect in the shocking assassination-style shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers—has been taken into custody. Authorities say he was arrested in rural Sibley County, Minnesota.

Boelter shot and killed Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark early Saturday morning at their home in Brooklyn Park. State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were also targeted in a similar attack at their home in Champlin.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News that Boelter “verbally” identified himself to authorities Sunday evening.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of his arrest, calling it “the face of evil.” “After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody,” the department said. “Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer.”

Who Is Vance Boelter, The Minnesota Shooter?

Once again narratives have been locked in concrete and the shooter was just apprehended.

He’s a “Trump Supporter” but he had “No Kings” flyers

He’s a Pro-Lifer but he shot members of the State Legislature that just voted to deny State aid to illegal aliens.

He’s MAGA but he was appointed into his position by Democrat Governors

If all six are true, Vance is really psychologically and ideologically messed up. Kind of like the Ryan Routh in Palm Beach, FL or Thomas Matthew Crooks in Butler, PA

So is there targeted, programmed, mass psychosis going on? Likely

But we also have corrupt media issuing narratives, motives, and agendas and we know little about what’s going on yet. This is likely part of the targeted mass psychosis.

I was enjoying a morning at the Army 250th Anniversary on the mall when I first heard this story.

There were a handful, maybe six “No Kings” activists inside the secure areas in Washington, D.C. except for one screaming Latina who said it wasn’t her country that started World War I or II or any other War (she didn’t say which country she was from so I cannot gauge the truth of her comment), the other five where white, liberal losers, standing silently with their signs except for one meathead that placed his sign on the ground so aliens in UFOs could conveniently read his sign (He’s not getting his $200/day for this stunt).

Minnesota Suspected ShooterPolice Locate Abandoned Vehicle… Roughly 50 Miles From Where Shootings Occurred

Police have discovered a car they believe Vance Boelter — the suspect in the shootings that left one Minnesota politician dead and another gravely injured — was driving … abandoned far from the scenes of the crimes.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office told CNN … they found the car they believe Boelter was driving about 50 miles southwest of the Twin Cities Sunday morning. The shootings occurred in Brooklyn Park and Champlin — two suburbs of Minneapolis.

CBS reports that a discarded cowboy hat was found near the vehicle. Remember, a photo obtained by law enforcement yesterday showed Boelter in a Minneapolis business with a cowboy hat on. Unclear if this is the same one.

While there isn’t currently a shelter-in-place order in the area, deputies are asking citizens to exercise caution and stay vigilant.

Yesterday, Vance’s wife — Jenny Boelter — was pulled over and detained just hours after the shooting occurred, according to 5 Eyewitness News, citing law enforcement sources. Cops allegedly found a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports in the car.

Roommate Reveals the Chilling Text Message Vance Boelter Left After Allegedly Assassinating Minnesota State Democrat Lawmaker and Her Husband

The best friend and roommate of the person who allegedly killed a Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband while dressed up as a police officer has revealed the chilling words of the suspect right after the attack was carried out.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor reported, two Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party lawmakers and their spouses were shot in ‘targeted’ attacks at their homes early Saturday by a man dressed as a police officer.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced at a press briefing that Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were killed in the shootings. State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were seriously wounded. Walz called the shootings “targeted” attacks.

57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter was later identified as the suspect in these attacks. As TGP’s Cassandra MacDonald notes, Boelter was a Tim Walz appointee and led an international security firm.

Now, David Carlson, the best friend and roommate of Boelter, shared a text message revealing the suspect’s final words before the attack. The message was reportedly received around 6 a.m. Saturday, shortly after former Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed, and Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were shot.

Multiple Minnesota media outlets, including the Minnesota Star Tribune, recorded the video. The message is quite cryptic and chilling.

“David and Ron, I love you guys. I made some choices, and you guys don’t know anything about this, but I’m going to be gone for a while. May be dead shortly, so I just want to let you know I love you guys both and I wish it hadn’t gone this way,” Carlson read from his phone while sitting on his porch steps.

“I don’t want to say anything more and implicate you in any way because you guys don’t know anything about this. But I love you guys and I’m sorry for all the trouble this has caused,” the message continued.

Accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter’s wife detained after traffic stop — cops find passports and weapon in car: report

The wife of suspected political assassin Vance Boetler is being detained and questioned after cops found a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports in her car during a traffic stop on Saturday morning, a report said.

Jenny Boetler was stopped by police while driving in a car with several relatives near Onamia, Minnesota, late Saturday morning around 10 a.m., local KTSP reported.

In the car she had a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports, that report stated citing law enforcement officials.

Two cop cruisers were at the scene for two to three hours, according to that report.

Boetler was held for questioning but was not arrested.

It is not clear whether the Boetlers lived with each other, as Vance Boetler was known to live at a residence in Camden, Minnesota, which was raided by SWAT teams on Saturday afternoon.

The couple previously ran the company Praetorian Guard Security.

Supreme Court: US Gun Makers Not Liable For Cartel Violence

In a unanimous blow to gun control advocacy groups, the Supreme Court shut down Mexico’s $10 billion claim targeting U.S. gun makers in a cross-border lawsuit.

Mexico originally filed the suit in 2021, arguing that U.S. gun companies were responsible for the weapons that fueled cartel violence. Mexico received support in its lawsuit from American gun control advocacy groups such as Everytown and March for our Lives Action Fund.

The Supreme Court ruling, written by Justice Elena Kagan, found that the manufacturer’s alleged failure to exercise “reasonable care” does not meet the standard necessary to be found liable for “aiding and abetting” the sale of illegal firearms in Mexico.

Mexico had asked the court for $10 billion in damages and additional court-imposed injunctive relief in the form of restrictions on manufacturers. According to a lawyer who spoke to RCP, siding with Mexico on the injunctive relief “would have likely severely prohibited the distribution of the manufacturer’s products” within the United States.

A federal district court judge initially ruled that the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act protected the gun manufacturers from the suit. In 2024, the First Circuit Court of Appeals revitalized the lawsuit. In response, gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson brought the case to the Supreme Court.

The PLCAA, signed into law in 2005 by President George W. Bush, shields gun manufacturers and dealers from liability when crimes are committed with their products. The law includes exceptions which Mexico’s lawyers sought to invoke.

The original suit by Mexico, which named multiple U.S.-based gun manufacturers as defendants, claimed that Mexicans “have been victimized by a deadly flood of military-style and other particularly lethal guns that flows from the U.S. across the border.” It also argued that U.S. companies were negligent in their sales practices, claiming that the gun companies “are not accidental or unintentional players in this tragedy; they are deliberate and willing participants, reaping profits from the criminal market they knowingly supply.”

In response, lawyers for Smith & Wesson argued in a filing that the lawsuit “faults the defendants for producing common firearms” and for “failing to restrict the purchase of firearms by regular citizens.” They made the case that “aiding and abetting criminal activity must involve something more than making products generally.” Ultimately, the Supreme Court agreed with this reasoning.

In reference to the injunctive relief that Mexico asked the court to grant, lawyers for Smith & Wesson asserted that the lawsuit was “inflicting costly and intrusive discovery at the hands of a foreign sovereign that is trying to bully the industry into adopting a host of gun-control measures that have been repeatedly rejected by American voters.”

According to some estimates, more than 250,000 firearms are smuggled from the United States into Mexico each year. In contrast, Mexico has one gun store and issues fewer than 50 new gun permits each year. The U.S. is the largest firearm exporter in the world, partly due to relaxed gun laws within the country.
