Italy’s Meloni Moves to Vastly Increase Hunters’ Rights With Legislation That Calls Them ‘Bioregulators’

Italian Prime Minister will get pushback at home and abroad – but it is worth it.

A fact that is incredibly offensive for the ‘new age’ sensibilities of liberals, but is nevertheless true: human hunters are a vital part of the ecological balance of species in many regions of our planet.

Just think about how many countries are suffering lately with insane invasions by wild hogs breeding with domestic pigs at a speed faster than they can be culled, and turning rural and suburban areas upside down.

Or how the resurgence of bear populations in Japan seems beyond the ability of the government to cope with it.

So, when Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government proposes a reform of hunting laws, even if in the run-up of next-years’ elections, it seems like a good idea.

But needless to say, the proposed reform has become a huge battleground in Italy’s culture wars.
