President-elect Donald Trump put out a strong statement last night on the Panama Canal and the control of this vital asset by foreign entities hostile to the United States.
As someone who has conducted business in Panama for years, trading with financial institutions in Panama City, I can testify the Panamanian people would be happy with this strategic waterway being returned to US control.
The country even uses the USD as its currency.
