Kamala Almost Stumbles Into ‘Deplorables’ Moment During Michigan Campaign Event

Kamala Harris almost stumbled into a ‘deplorables’ moment during her campaign event in Michigan, before awkwardly catching herself at the last moment.

Harris appeared alongside Liz Cheney during a town hall event in Royal Oak, Michigan.

“The notion over the last several years coming from Trump and those who follow him,” said Harris.

She immediately clarified by asserting, “Meaning people like who he’s running with, not his voters, just others, erm…,” sounding incredibly uncomfortable.

By referring to “those who follow him,” Harris was almost certainly referring to Trump supporters and not people like JD Vance, since Vance is Trump’s running mate, he’s not ‘following’ him.

During last week’s grilling by Brett Baier, the Fox News host asked Harris whether she thought Trump supporters were “stupid”.

“Oh, God. I would never say that about the American people. And, in fact, if you listen to Donald Trump, if you watch any of his rallies, he’s the one who tends to demean and belittle and diminish the American people,” she responded.
